A flame spirit from Fontaine

Anglo: Hydro - Claymore

A humanoid sea creature, living in Fontaine; who has ties to Remuria in his past life.

Ervan Alphonse: Hydro - Sword

A Siren who was a former member of the "Fontainian Marines" during the Cataclysm. Spends his time listening to classical music, and staying at local pubs.

Maestro: Geo - Catalyst

A Clockwork Meka designed to be a pianist; wishes that he were human, so that people could truly appreciate his music.

Oh I just have to ask about The Destiny Duo, I used to ADORE the Geronimo Stilton books as a kid, and this sounds like such a fun premise

:DDD Oh sweet!! Oh man, where do I begin about this...

I was also a big fan of the Geronimo Stilton books as a kid -- especially those special edition Kingdom of Fantasy books with the hardbound covers. As someone who was a sucker for fantasy stories (especially ones where people from the modern world would go back-and-forth in a journey between our world and a fantasy world; like Narnia-esque stories), I was especially drawn to these books, and their lovely illustrations.

And over time, I thought... but what if? What if instead of our favorite mouse man Geronimo being called to the Kingdom of Fantasy... what if it was human ocs instead?

Which brings us to the protagonists of the Destiny Duo au concept: the two Sebastiani siblings.

(in this drawing, Fernanda is 15, and Paola is around 10. I drew this around 2023 btw.)

These two went through a lot of changes, as I began to create them when I was really young, like-- 12-13 years old. They had different names in the beginning as well, but overtime, as I revisited them, their names and nationalities kept shifting, and changing, until I eventually settled on making them Italian (to reflect the roots of the Stilton books, as they were all written by an Italian author and were also originally published in Italian), and giving them names that fit both their background and their personalities.

Here's some info about these two, btw:

Fernanda is the usual elder-sister archetype, always trying to be the voice of reason and looking after her younger sister. People say she takes after her dad in looks, but her mom in personality. She's the shining star of the family (good grades, an excellent athlete, etc.), but as an aspiring dancer, she wishes to be something more. After enough adventures in the Kingdom of Fantasy, many have seen her as a knight-like figure, naming her The Unyielding Mind

Paola is wide-eyed, imaginative, and creative. Some might say she's prone to getting lost in her own worlds, getting her head stuck in the clouds a lot, always fascinated with the fantastical and unreal. So it's no surprise that, when she and her sister find a mysterious music box in their house's attic, and get transported to the Kingdom of Fantasy, she's immediately enthusiastic about exploring it, and the one most attached to it. She eventually becomes known for her skill in storytelling, and gains the moniker of The Undaunted Heart

I also ended up developing their family members as well, but that's a story for another time ahahaha.

So yeah, these two are the protagonists of this oc-centric story. They go through a lot of ups and downs together (typical sibling interactions, arguments, perilous world events), but they're very close-knit, and would be willing to give their lives for each other.

It should also be noted that, they do end up aging throughout the course of the book series, so that by the time we end up reaching the 13th book in the Kingdom of Fantasy (and a major turning point in their character journey), Fernanda is 21 and Paola is 15.

In case you can't tell, I really wish to draw more outfits for these two, especially throughout their journeys. I'm especially looking forward to using their outfits as a sort of visual storytelling, showing their character growth and stuff as well!
