Tiny Love MAGIQ

i recently discovered these and today ended up getting a plushie from this line after it had been in a local thrift store for a while. anyone else interested in/know about these? basically it's supposed to be a plush doll (either a dog, lamb or cow--i have the dog) that interacts with a special DVD that is...i guess its different depending on the plush from this line you have??? (one of those dvds is below)

there's a behind the scenes video too which makes it even MORE interesting

also the plushie.... it's in pretty good condition for its age (it probably came out sometime during the mid-late 2000s cus earliest anything i can find on the internet of it is from like 2006) and the bottoms of its feet are like. rubbery and feel like shoe soles but they also have Beans in them??? very peculiar creature.....i might do a post specifically about the plush itself at some point

Once Danny was an adult, he decided to join Ellie in her ‘permanent world tour’. It’s better than staying in Amity where the opinion of Phantom hasn’t gotten much better. Besides, the portal caused the veil to get weaker, allow ghost to wreak havoc where ever they want.

He’s met a lot new ghost cause of this too. Old as Mycenaean Greece to non humans who came to Earth and died there. Danny’s learnt so much from them that he’s basically a walking in Encyclopaedia.

So, Danny’s decided “fuck it.” and has it became a part-time history teacher. It’s fun! He knows the details by heart and is able to make it more fun than just droning on about the same old wars and whatever. He enjoys it, the kids enjoy it and the ghosts having their stories told!

Of course, this does cause some problems when people try to correct him. Danny’s argument? “I got them correct sources.”

And when anyone asks him how knows his sources are correct? “My source was there when it happened.”

Cue the dc world thinking that Danny’s just some immortal guy whose decided to use his immortality for good(TM)

I love how during the cutscenes between the Dessendres we focus on Verso's face. They do not, they say his name, call upon his will but they don't really mean it. Neither the real or the painted Verso has any say in it all. He's stuck watching each version of his family decide his fate.

And I love how Sciel moves to comfort him and Lune is by his side during those scenes. In those moments their status as painted people, the shared perspective of standing in front of gods of their world that are having a family spat, is more important than any of his betrayals. Up until he finds it in himself to take his agency that leads to his last betrayal of those people or maybe the greatest release he could offer.

In the end, only painted!Verso listens to child!Verso. Only he offers him choice and understanding. Renoir created this whole creature to represent his son's tendency to hide behind lies for the good of others and yet never looked for the true feelings of his son's soul. Maelle loves her brother but having him becomes more important than listening to what he wants and letting him choose for himself.

In the end, the only way for Verso to find his agency is to betray those who offered him understanding and love. And only then he stops lying, he speaks his mind. He wants it all to stop. He doesn't want this

i love misadventures lizzie i love how she feels like an npc gone rouge, going around giving helpful tips and quests. the way she just knows things and no one questions it is very funny in-universe
