A mob psycho 100 and one punch man theory I have is that are they connected? I've seen many people joke about how mob looks like saitama's kid, but what if it was the other way around.
Specifically, what if Tatsumaki and Fubuki are descendants of Tome?
Tumblr media
In the one punch man series, we see various people with different powers, but it's never explained how these people got their powers. But in the MP100 series, Ritsu and Shigeo both have psychic powers, but their parents don't show any signs. Which could give the possibility for someone powerless like Tome to have psychic descendants.
Another reason for this theory is how similar these sisters ate to tome.
Tumblr media
Personality wise, they all act prestigious and cocky. They also have a bit of an ego.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They also psychically look similar, although the mp100 characters don't have eye colours, theres a chance of tome's being green.
Although I agree with the head cannon that tome's a lesbian (I'm just thinking from a different point of view) there's a chance they got the green hair from this guy (I can't remember his name)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also, Yusuke Maruta's drawing of Tome's looks very similar to Fubuki.

"That man"
Tumblr media
We know fairly little about "that man" as people call him these days after he monsterized. He is Blast's former partner in search for the cubes, also known as "Empty Void", the ninja village founder. Other ninjas of the newly founded alumni revere him as the strongest ninja and who would turn the world upside down, once awoken. Blast also points out that this man is the only one who can open the interdimensional door to OPM God's dimension where he is hiding (or incubating according to spanish translation).
Blast says he defeated him 15 years ago and since then, he has been recuperating but Blast thinks he must have awoken earlier than that, leading towards my theories in what that man has been up to.
Tumblr media
My first theory is that that man was waiting for the barriers to God's dimension to be weakened enough, so he could open the doorway and release him completely. The weakening of the barriers is apparent in the dozens of dragon-level monsters that are getting increasingly more and more common because as Blast says, the interaction with it's dimension is rapidly increasing.
Tumblr media
My second theory is that he has awaited for someone to be strong enough to become god's vessel via sacrifice and that person happens to be Saitama, who defeated cosmic Garou. Orochi deemed Saitama a suitable sacrifice for the evil god to come forth. It would make sense that God has no corporeal body of it's own, so it needs a suitable, living vessel to be resurrected back onto earth.
Tumblr media
Saitama also happens to be a being who is able to punch a hole between dimensions and affect the plane of existence on a scale that defies all sense, like kicking and moving away portals in the cosmic Garou fight and punching a hole into Phoenixman's spiritual space when he was trying to persuade Child emperor to join his cause. Not unlike That man's ability to open "Gate of the celestial rock cave" that connects to the dimension where opm God resides.
Wonder what would go through Blast's head if he knew all of this, because he was consumed by 15 long years in trying to save his partner from monsterization.
Tumblr media
I have a gut feeling that these redraws will become important shortly, if or when Saitama's secret abilities are pulled into the limelight.

THEORY I WANT TO SHARE THAT I HAVE HAD IN MIND FOR AWHILE!
(Genos, Drive Knight, Metal Knight, Mad Cyborg related)
I had a theory awhile ago about Metal Knight and Drive Knight working together secretly, but now something tells me that is not the case whatsoever.
I think it’s strange on how Drive Knight tells Genos to not trust Bofoi off the bat in the beginning from the end of season 1.
Like he’s trying to turn on the possibility of a traitor in the HA in the mind of Genos (so he becomes worked up about it, which works and favors DK later on). Like he needs someone else to do his dirty work for him, due to DK already being seen as suspicious by MK.
(ik ik im stretching here and there but, let me cook)
Tumblr media
But I feel like it’s strange on how Drive Knight tries to pin point it all at Metal Knight particularly because of his absence throughout the Hero Association. Like he’s trying to make it out as HE is the one Genos needs to target particularly. Especially because he’s the only other robot besides the 2 of them being part cyborg.
Does Drive Knight tell this information to anyone else, BESIDES GENOS?
No, not at all (at least that’s just from what I know and see, as he’s a very secretive person).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I think it’s really strange when Drive Knight starts to mention about ‘knowing’ something evil about MK. It’s like he’s inserting himself, or with the people he might work with in secret. Like a new hidden organization yet to be announced in the storyline.
Especially on the first panel below this, when he tells Genos why he’s telling him this. It all seems so manipulative, stalker kind of vibe, trying to share common ground/change his persona to be likable/trust worthy. He’s suspiciously trying a little to hard to gain his trust, he’s trying to be a victim like him, I guess gain sympathy in a way?
It’s like Metal Knight KNOWS he’s in a mentally unstable condition, that Genos seems desperate enough to find out about his ‘mad cyborg’ killer sooner or later.
If someone very important to him happened to die, Genos would whole heartily (maybe with a grain of salt) follow Drive Knights information. (Wanna know what happened? KUSENO DIED, HIS FATHER FIGURE, SOMEONE WHO WAS THERE FOR HIM IN THE BEGINNING. And wanna know what he did after? He used that information from Drive Knight to go after Metal Knight.)
Also-
HOW DOES DRIVE KNIGHT KNOW THAT GENOS’ES VILLAGE AS BEEN DESTROYED BY A ‘mad cyborg’ AS WELL???
NO ONE TOLD HIM??
SO HOW DOES HE EXACTLY KNOW!???
(It’s like out of the blue.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This only furthers my suspicions on Drive Knight.
Especially on the after math of Kuseno’s death and when robots invade nearby cities. In which Genos automatically assumes it’s the work of Metal Knight.
And now with new evidence from the newest webcomic chapter shows Metal Knights base, with no robots forming out of the base itself.
Tumblr media
As all of his robots are by the HA HQ fighting the new other robots.
(Although the chapter isn’t fully translated yet, you can see DK, which proves my previous point up above in the third section.)
I actually think Drive Knight might be working with the association that destroyed Genos’es village. It would explain on why he’s trying to pin the blame on Metal Knight and to not become suspicious from Genos POV, giving him a good alibi for the most part.
And if anything that ‘mad cyborg’ killer could be Drive Knight himself, but that’s a bit of stretch if anything.
(IM PREDICTING IT THO! MARK MY WORDS!!)
————-
A little bit more evidence mentions: (from the top of my head)
-Metal Knight tells Child Emperor to not trust anyone as his final message to him. We are shown a text of both of them used to being friends.
It’s like Metal Knight had to cut his connection towards CE for his safety as he MK already felt he was being watched himself. (But that might change due to the recent chapter that has yet to be translated, can’t fully confirm until then but just putting it out there.)
-Saitama tells Genos to just talk to Metal Knight and ask. But Genos pays no head to that, which might become his biggest mistake.
I feel like this is foreshadowing that once Genos gets close to Bofoi, and Bofoi tells him that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about/tells him straight up he had no relation to the event he speaks of. I feel like Genos might lose it completely even if Saitama is next to him and tries to calm him down.
Like I feel like Genos might almost kill Bofoi but Saitama stops Genos in time. And both start to argue and it’s starts to become sad from there.
-It’s strange how after Genos talked to DK for a bit, then Kuseno dies.
Coincidence? I think not.
It’s like Kuseno was on DK’s hit list for him and the people that he works with/the association that killed Genos’es village. And they had to get rid of him one way or another, it would explain why there was random strong robots there. They were being tracked and targeted, mainly Dr.Kuseno (as if he was getting close to the truth).
Like they to manipulate Genos just so DK could earn his trust and lose a lot of suspicion in his eyes. Even after Kusenos death.
-THE 2 MF ROBOTS FROM SEASON 1 THE SOUND O SONIC EP! (I think)
They appeared after taking back the suit of the big strong bald head guy.
It’s like very early foreshadowing of members for another association, yet to still appear out of thin air. (IMO)
————-
That’s all I wanted to share for now, I’ll edit this if I happen to remember more and study the chapters closely.
If you guys wanna add on or put in you own input, on this theory, please do! I would be happy to hear your opinion!
(And correct me if I’m wrong!!)
Until then, thank you for reading my theory! (If it makes sense 😭)
Have a nice day/night!! :D

There's something interesting about Wind and Flame's dynamic. So much so that I will question their relationship, in the least fujo way possible (though I can't guarantee).
Ninjas are not allowed to speak to one another, let alone be friends. They're trained to kill one another in the wild, most likely because being sold as property to I guess mob bosses, it's competition. The Village made their money selling the kids, they don't really care what happens to them outside.
I had originally thought Wind and Flame had been sold as a set, until I read about this whole killing each other thing. So here we have two guys, who were most likely totally best friends in the Village, risking or suffering horrible punishment just to be together, separated, reconnected when the Tenninto, and now they have a bond that keeps them so physically in sync that it's almost amusing. They fight in harmony, and finish each others sentences. And I still think they can telepathically communicate.
I realize it's not right to say that two men (or women) who are super bonded are in a romantic relationship, and friendship could just be the case. And you know, that's fine too! Either way, it's so fucking cute. They are so bonded and in love, either romantically or platonically.
They decided to be free together. They decided to be monsters together. They most likely lived together at the MA, maybe not in the same room but you get the idea. The Village did everything it could to beat social interaction out of its victims. Even Flash and Sonic, who had been allies, still dislike each other. But Wind and Flame had the exact opposite happen. They weren't just friends, they are one being.
So I'm happy they're gonna live. I need more of them. I want to know more, and hear their story more than anything.

Note
remember the genos = mad cyborg theory (imagine if what happened was that genos turned into a cyborg but the surgery led to him going berserk and destroying his own family and the city was in ( the memories of his family were real he just doesnt remember when he became a cyborg or what exactly happened that day
Well........then Kuseno will have a LOT of explaining to do if he basically sent Genos off unsupervised, armed and unstable with that much loose cannon firepower and an active self-destruct nuke...on a wild goose chase to aimlessly search for and take revenge on...Himself?? 🤔🤔 Simply put, the logistics of that tropey common fan-theory just don't make sense, and it's why I've never been a fan of it, esp if the Genos we've come to know & love has all been a lie, only for the 'reveal' to cause him needlessly more strife and spiraling torment.
Nah, the more likely scenario is that his extreme one-track obsession puts him at a dark risk towards monsterization (opm rules) for his mind to ironically become a mad cyborg (not the) OR his actions put him in a perfect place to become a scapegoat who takes the blame for what the Organization (and The mad cyborg) has done - bc Genos can be so easily framed for the wrongdoings he didn't do if he's not careful! (where the whole thing's a setup just to trap him where they want him.) They've already got a kill-list to harvest prime people to make into cyborg soldiers against their will, and Genos himself is already half-way 'transformed' into a cyborg already, ripe for the picking (again, if he's not careful!) And this makes our current tension-filled webcomic situation. :') Where I'm every bit worried for him!! So let's stay tuned and have patience for what ONE's got planned for him...

WIP Folder Ask Game!
I was tagged by @beileil 🥰
Rules: Post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you asks with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! Then tag as many people as you have WIPs.
I am unable to post everything in my WIP folder because I actually have several… I use G-docs, Scrivener, or Final Draft depending on what I’m writing and how far I am, I recently started using Campfire for longform stories, so that’s what I’ll share.
The Body Electric is a series I’ve been working on for awhile, in which Garou and Genos are from the same village. I will call it an AU when this has been officially ruled out.
Most of these are pre canon and feature Garou, Bang, and Charanko in the dojo. Some of them are not. “you & me & a high balcony” is about Genos and Garou and Saitama and the original working title was “night cactus.”
There was a point when I seriously considered making the fic titles All Mountain Goats, All The Time except for the series, which is, of course, borrowed from Whitman.
…If and when I finish this series, I am getting myself a mug that reads “tiddies out for walt whitman.”
Tumblr media
And the final one that got cut off is “succession convo.”

I just had a small fan theory about genos (not expected to be cannon)
Ok so Genos' body is mostly metal and robot right?
Tumblr media
I had a small theory that Genos is trans since he has physically robotic male parts. And it's common for transgender or non binary people to pick unique names like pheonix or Onyx (genos is short for genocide).

Qi, the source of special powers in OPM
"Circulate your Qi into your weapon and it will become perfect part of your body..."
Tumblr media
Then Nichirin proceeds to cut the apple and the mountains behind it and the apple has been cut, yet has no signs of cutting. Atomic Samurai says Nichirin is so fast with his sword the apple has not noticed it has been cut, but I beg to differ just a bit here.
My hypothesis is as follows:
What Nichirin did was most likely reinforce the apple with his Qi very much like Saitama reinforced Genos' core on the moon by making the core an extension of himself, so the apple got cut but at the same time, has not noticed it has been cut.
Tumblr media
I believe Qi, chi and divine power, the one Saitama and Garou used during their epic fight and what most heroes in the world of OPM use, are one and the same powers, just with different names. In the webcomic, there is a term chi or aura and Saitama has such in spades because he has broken his limits.
Tumblr media
Nichirin blowing up the mountainside behind the apple is very much also reminiscent in how both Saitama and Genos punched through the other, without harming the one being punched but obliterating the mountains behind them.
Tumblr media
Either their punches curve around the target, like how the other swordsmen Yuta and Shido originally thought, or it is possible to make another being an extension of themselves via this usage of Qi so they do not get harmed.
--
In world of OPM, people like Nichirin can survive despite getting melted in half, something which would kill a normal human being in an instant because they have this Qi or divine power they can use.
My hypothesis is that Heroes in world of OPM can consciously or subconsciously use this Qi to their bidding and the more they train and "conquer death", the more they unlock this ability to circulate Qi around their bodies to reinforce, to heal, to regenerate, physical prowess etc. This might be the source of all OPM special abilities found in humans and how they turn into superhumans, once they unlock their own Qi.
Tumblr media
Circulating Qi into clothes to reinforce or to make Tank top magic real is also part of the course. Weapons, artificial parts or anything can be circulated with Qi and made an extension of themselves by sheer willpower. This would be why Tank Top master became a round ball when Pig God gave him his energy, his own Qi, to heal him. Tank top master essentially became an extension of Pig God.
It is also why Saitama's hero suit (and the clothes resting on his skin) can withstand massive punishment without instantly breaking and seemingly operates as an extension of himself, much like Garou's bandages and his "feelers." Saitama's cape constantly flows around him, making him seem more heroic even against the wind direction.
Tumblr media
One of the reasons Saitama was so surprised his hero suit got blown holes in it against Garou because it is not very often that he comes across a being that is capable of breaking through his Qi circulation reinforcement when he is actively protecting himself.
Tumblr media
And when he does not, his hero suit immediately got shred when he lost the willpower to protect his own sense of heroism. He no longer felt very heroic when he questioned his intuition and himself.
(chances are his suit can also regenerate by now, with so many holes on it not even Genos can patch it up)
--
Nichirin says and shows us to how artificial body can also be circulated with Qi, which is very important when it comes to Genos. Genos is also a being who seems to be subconsciously using his Qi and once even melded together two cleaved halves against Elder centipede by sheer force of will. Most of the cybernetics in OPM world seem to work very seamlessly for the wielders too.
If Genos putting two of his halves together is not making his cybernetics an extension of himself and and his remaining human brain and regenerating essentially, nothing is. The clash of the two halves even has the trademarks lightning signifying divine power activation, one which I suspect Saitama awoke by accepting Genos as his disciple.
Tumblr media
However, Genos does not consciously seem to realize how much potential he has, only subconsciously channeling his Qi and his defeatist mindset makes him still a long way from making his body truly his own body, parts that he no longer needs to replace but instead regenerate like humans heal from wounds.
Though he seems to be able to subconsciously channel his Qi outwards, like the death punch he repeated back at Saitama. He also has quite the visible aura even Saitama pays attention to, which would probably be Genos flaring up his Qi due to his emotional agitation.
Tumblr media
Genos has a lot of Qi, he just needs to learn how to harness it and then he can definitely reach further beyond than what endlessly replacing his parts won't be able to do for him. But to do that, he needs to trust himself, his willpower and his ability, otherwise the indomitable human spirit won't do anything for him.
Maybe someday, Genos too is capable of doing this consciously:
Tumblr media
But that day will be ways off. Unless he finds himself in vicinity of Nichirin and he explains the concept of Qi to him.

Canonically, this is ALMOST true.
There's no such thing as a meta-gene in-universe. However, if you're obsessed with a thing? That will make you stronger. We see this over and over again in the other heroes (and villains).
What happened to Saitama is however a bit unique, because (as described by the many-clone-guys later on) Saitama "broke the ceiling".
Basically, Saitama did something impossible, and since he was too obsessed to fail, reality as a whole just kind of... gave up on holding him back. So now he can just keep getting stronger, forever.
Now, what did he actually do in order to "break the ceiling"? Simple. Saitama who's just starting out decided on an exercise-regime that he physically cannot do. And then he did it anyway.
That's it. Nothing more than that.
Instead of adjusting his exercise to fit him, he works himself to death and then doesn't die.
Which is so ridiculous that nobody in-universe believes that he did it like that.
I have a theory now for how Saitama got his power and it’s ‘Saitama accidentally did to himself what the Weapon X program did to its subjects’
Like you can say that his training program wasn’t that intensive but when you remember that he had like no money, thought a banana for breakfast was enough, and did not step himself up gradually, yeah I can see why he was spitting blood and it’s because he was straight-up starving himself, man was burning SO many calories that he did not have
So yeah he stress-activated his own meta gene
And no one understands it because the OPM world is in fucking shambles and no one has figured out exactly why some people develop powers and some don’t (aka they haven’t discovered their version of the meta gene yet)
I feel that this theory is sound and holds up to scrutiny

have you heard of child emperor = mad cyborg theory in this very chapter, I bet that HE is the "rogue AI" that he mentions they tinkered with, except he's been programmed to forget that and instead to think that he co-engineered and then shelved it instead, so that he'd have multiple mental blocks preventing him from going rogue again on top of any hard-coded blocks. his text conversation with Bofoi underground during the MA attack in the manga. They barely said anything and hegot pissed
....lol okay at this point the "character x = mad cyborg" theories are reaching the same "Blast = character x" crack theory levels! Cause this one's completely out of left field. Especially the leap in reasoning thinking a child is an ai simply because he.....gets emotional/irritated at his former master's seemingly irresponsible (in)actions and avoidance??? Um.
I think child emperor and metal knight accidentally created the mad cyborg ( with their ai experiments)
At least this one's more sensible. :'D Especially following all their talk about what's human vs machine, how a human would not have been able to complete the ai's creation, and the conditions for it to become unstable and go mad, etc. That I WONDER if ONE's been recently inspired by the Pluto anime release, cause the entire theme - that of a 'perfect ai', the boundaries between what's human vs robot, the mystery of one accidentally creating itself, and what leads one to kill/rampage in hatred all feel Very on brand. I def got some similar vibes.
But truly, for anything else, only ONE can stop the crack theories give us those answers!
