Another thing I've heard some people mention is the differences between Mob and Ritsu's bedrooms. Ritsu has a bed, vast bookshelves and things on his walls, while Mob has a futon, a singular bookshelf and nothing on his walls. And this isn't a design flaw, it's a silent character story. As Mob grew up with psychic powers that he struggled to control, it was likely that both he and his parents thought it would be safer for him to have the bare minimum of things in his room so that nothing gets broken and/or wouldn't put Mob or those around him in danger. Ritsu didn't have powers growing up, which meant he could decorate his room.

This is only a small theory/headcanon that I've seen floating around, but I think it's pretty interesting and says a lot about Mob and Ritsu's childhoods.

A mob psycho 100 and one punch man theory I have is that are they connected? I've seen many people joke about how mob looks like saitama's kid, but what if it was the other way around.

Specifically, what if Tatsumaki and Fubuki are descendants of Tome?

In the one punch man series, we see various people with different powers, but it's never explained how these people got their powers. But in the MP100 series, Ritsu and Shigeo both have psychic powers, but their parents don't show any signs. Which could give the possibility for someone powerless like Tome to have psychic descendants.

Another reason for this theory is how similar these sisters ate to tome.

Personality wise, they all act prestigious and cocky. They also have a bit of an ego.

They also psychically look similar, although the mp100 characters don't have eye colours, theres a chance of tome's being green.

Although I agree with the head cannon that tome's a lesbian (I'm just thinking from a different point of view) there's a chance they got the green hair from this guy (I can't remember his name)

Also, Yusuke Maruta's drawing of Tome's looks very similar to Fubuki.

i like to hc teru's parents as more despicable by virtue of ignorance, rather than active, malicious neglect. i mean he can handle it. and he did ask to live by himself. sure he's probably gonna develop some problems, but as long as he got those powers of his, and as long as we check up on him a few times a year, he'll probably be ok. can you say this ever happened to anyone before? what would you have done in this situation? he seems happy. he's doing well in school. he's healthy and as safe as can be. we're proud of him.

Terumob is an excellent ship to me for a variety of reasons, but one of my highlights is the fact that on one hand you have a blond boy with the most absurd coping mechanisms ever seen by man, who spent years being suffocated by apathy and loneliness and spite only to be absolutely obliterated by a random kid who introduced him to the concept of "You're A Human Person With Flaws", and as a consequence developed an unhealthy homoromantic obsession with him (as rivals of course) until he is obliterated again, but this time with the revelation that his dear rival also is a Human Person With Flaws and that doesn't stop blond boy from loving him even if it gets him killed.

On the other you have another boy with bad coping mechanisms, but that in the tiniest outcome he starts liking blond boy back, it is pretty normal and unrelated to all the dramatic obsessive previously mentioned things. There is no tragic flair its just that his good friend is handsome and kind with him.

the real villain of mob psycho is that random claw goon who spread that rumor about shou being an artificial esper and confused the fandom for years. like i cant even blame people for "shou is an artificial esper" theories some guy just says it and we have to intuit that he just made that shit up by the fact that it never comes up again

(TW for mentions of suicide) I recently saw somebody say that they thought the reason that Reigen took off his shoes when he was going to face ???% was that he didn't think he was going to survive. For context, in Japan, when a person is going to commit suicide, they take off their shoes in order to show that their death wasn't a murder. When I thought about this theory, it just made so much painful sense that Reigen wouldn't want officials to think that Mob killed Reigen, but that Reigen was the one who killed himself by going after Mob.

I haven't talked about this much publicly because it's an idea I do want to write, but it stemmed from a simple conversation I once had with my significant other, Frank the Enabler™️[aka @adhd-trash-mammal ♥ ][Credit must be given to them for SO much talking about this idea]

It's since become an idea that lives rent free in my head, how the Time Loop began, how Mist and Ivan become aware, how others might later become aware, how that explains Mist's "old game tutorial dialogue" in a new light, how it looks at Ivan vanishing from the entire middle of the plot...

Replaying the first game with this silly idea in mind really gives some fun new perspective to the dialogue limitations of what is now an ancient game. Mist isn't stuck with line number whatever; she knows she needs to tell you something...

(And when she's surprised that you beat the Tank? The strangest dialogue in the game, like she knows something?)

And thus drawing Mist and Raguna standing in front of the Kardia house, on days both implied to be Spring 1, gave me vibes of my theory... because weather in those days is also important.

Genuinely. It's now a favorite thought train of mine. I have endless notes and two documents for the story started, I just lost steam last year when they got corrupted and I lost some writing. But it's a 4 part idea I want to do (1 part for each "awares" person) at some point, so I'm afraid I won't elaborate specifics any further here on Tumblr
