Also if I'm not seeing wrong, it was also the day that is agreed on as the day for Oreca Battle anniversary day??? So, happy anniversary??? ...dang, this franchise is 12 years old-

Welcome to the team, Damkina and White Dragon's Egg!!! ✨✨✨

Though I lose against Damkina and didn't get her item drop, we were still able to get her join the team, so yay!!! Not only that, but it was said her encounter is pretty rare, so audfhkjehferg--

Also, I finally able to get Tanta meet Kurt to trigger their special cut-in! I'll try to make a video post about it, because slrjghjrg- To do that cutscene justice, I need to show it in video format-

Other than that, we had a pretty uneventful (yet a bit frustrating-) levelling up moments~

And we finally get Kurt's cloak, so I will make a separate post about that- (Or maybe just include it in the video post???)

And for some reason, no signs of 4★ CuChulain yet- Where the heck are you, CuChulain- You're not even a boss or rare encounter, I'm so confused as to why you're so hard to meet-

Okay tad late (as this month's Coro came out yesterday) but some Oreca Battle report time, with mb alongside some other stuff As per usual, spoilers for some upcoming cards/monsters. Though I think they did shown some of em on twit already?

Main spread+following page. It comes with Wanderer card of Ch1 titular guy that you can cut out from the magazine page itself and use in game

As per usual names tl are more of my own taste, than in-line with official SEA english release (as I can't really access it either)

Chapter 1 seem to be themed around Dragon Palace as its featured Oremon is clearly inspired of turtle from Urashima Taro tale (though it is also has dragon+plesiosaurus in it too) So, 2, 3 and 4 stars of this fella's line! (the 3 one seems to be misprinted in the magazine? as it's lacking said stars indicator)

2 Stars: Acheron (I believe it's from river in Greece of same name? it has connection to Underworld in mythology, and since some variants of Urashima Taro don't state the place he went as Dragon Palace, but as some Otherworld, I guess?)

3 Stars: Archeron (Well, adding "r" for ー is one way to prolong the vowel in otherwise 0 change name)

4 Stars: Guardian Dragon, Archeron EX Move: Breath of Abyss Guardian (for the Wind attribute, at least. Sadly I can't see/make out names of EX Moves for other cards of this line)

The titular guy is named Trito!

2 Stars: Wave Warrior, Trito (clearly from Triton. So both him and his partner pal have Greek myth related names ig) EX Move: Trident of Wave (He pretty much riders it as surfboard...At least in how manga chapter portrayed it. Cute)

3 Stars: Wave Knight, Trito EX Move: Trident of Surge

There's also fella named Jaligator (pebble/ ankle-biter gator heh) and new Demon King, Oloroso (also alco related name) I assume "Ocean Domination" (Turn one of your allies against you for 1 turn) is its EX Move (or just of one of the moves?) name, and for Jaligator it's "Sudden Action" (it re-directs attacks from its allies to itself?) Next month issue will come with Wandered Shirogane card

There's also was poster featuring some new monsters and returning faces for Ch1, alongside Prologue card catalogue! Sadly, the pages resolution aren't that big in digital edition of coro, so I can't make out some kanjis in names here...

You can actually see Oto-Hime Mayori (Or mb Maioli?) in upper left corner. She was mentioned in this month's chapter. As well Gyo, from 1st game, Star 4 evo- Messenger of Dragon Palace, Gyogyo. He served as a bad guy to beat for latest chapter. And was finished by Demon Lord he was serving </3 Because they don't need weaklings

Speaking of. That's a fun-okay design I think? Busker had some eyelashes and this one had long as hell claws/nails <3 But because of that...I kind of unsure about this one's gender? I feel it could go both ways (upd after seeing game clips: bro is a guy) It is dragon again, so it makes me wonder if all Demon Lords of this game gonna be dragons?

I like Trito from what I've seen in this chapter :) He reminds me of Tsunami from IE- (Mecha when there's a funky surfer dude: Hmm getting lots of Tsunami vibes from it) I really adore Acheron also. Absolutely adorable fella. I guess Nagi be teaming up with protags from each chapter for respective arcs? (So I guess each taking about 2-3 months? (so about 3 chapters) Based on how much it takes for game to get new Chapter update) Gren continues to be power-hungry jerk, and Stan just following his lead (he clearly trying to fight the darkness but it ain't going well. Bro got taken underwater to serve new Demon Lord </3 )

On other news, Bird Kazami first W wow (I don't follow BeyX much I am a fake hobbyani fan sorry </3 ) Rewinder continues to be peak and that's all that is matters DueWin enters world tourney arc and it seems??? potential main bad or just a problem??? is musk rat expy??? okay Dai-sensei whatever you say. They also introducing new character to main cast?? named Kaoru. Who looks very "wuh???huh??? I don't really wanna be here but we ball". I like him already, he got some grandma issues

my Oreca Battle 2 manga chapter 3 reaction

i havent seen gameplay of his in-game model, so only now ive noticed Black Knight Stan has several Dark Matters on him. the ones on his shield and visor hinges means theres at least 3.

So this is the power of darkness... Wonderful!

Look, Nagi. Despite Demon King Busker's defeat, the Dark Crystals haven't faded. Do you understand what this means? It means that there is more than one Demon King!

so Nagi and Zenogon are going to have to defeat all the Demon Kings to save everyone trapped by Dark Crystals, including Granpa Mido. arcade game chapters come out every 3 months, and a complete set of chapters in Oreca 1 was 8 of them from Prologue to 7.... which means this will take two years. well, thats what i get for choosing to read a monthly manga. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

so youre just going to abandon it? how uncaring, Glenn. and now this is confirmation that Glenn, Aria, Stan and Lancelot are from the kingdom of Littania. im pretty sure the Prologue is based off countries in Great Britain because "Brittania", Busker is a whiskey, and "glen" comes from a word in Scottish Gaelic.

this is another part where the manga and the game are different. Game Glenn is a good guy who is trying to defeat Busker through dubious methods, while Manga Glenn is heartless and power-hungry. still no actual explanation for what he's doing to Stan. we might have to wait to know for a looooong time.

hiiiiiii Trito!!!!

i noticed some of his dialogue has English loanwords, like ナイスガード (nice guard), when there are Japanese words that could be used instead. i guess that's his speech pattern.

WOE, SEA TURTLE CREATURE BE UPON YE. by the way, while reading, i tried searching it up and アーケロン is the japanese transliteration of Archelon, the scientific name for an extinct ancient sea turtle. Archelon itself means "ruler turtle" from some Greek root words. so its name relates back to the Turtle in Urashima Taro. and to repeat what @/mechaseraph said in their own post, Trito and Achelon/Archelon have Greek-based names.

its interesting that since Gyogyo was a fish and isnt used to speaking, he keeps mispronouncing "Oloroso" as "Orororo".

not sure if this will get brought up again, but thats something to know about Trito's trident.

Trito only wears his goggles when hes trying to lie. thats kind of cute.

(starting on previous page: Granpa Mido used to tell me this all the time.) He said that just as people choose their weapons, weapons choose their wielders. The force that blasted the Kanicrab away... That spear was way stronger when Trito was using it!!

Now we know that there will be indeed more kingdom introduction coming up, like White Queen's kingdom and this Litania kingdom(?)

Oowh shoot, so Oreca Battle 2's prologue is actually taking place on the Kingdom of Litania/Ritania??? That's an interesting news-

Even tho we have Red Queen's full evo, but the story so far is actually not taking place at Babyloa, but Litania instead?? ...wait, it's not full evo, it's only up to 3☆ Does this mean we are going to get 4☆ evo for White Queen instead later on????

There's also mention of a neighboring kingdom named Elamia as well which could be the kingdom Lancelot belong to, but we can only wait for confirmation for now--

Tanta being the hero that Stan admired is a high possibility as well, since it was written that Tanta went on a journey through various places/kingdoms/continents before becoming True Hero Tanta on New Chapter 7

Sure it is true that Burn, Flow, Rock, and Hayate also have "Hero" title in their name, but Tanta's title is tad more special since it is written as "True Hero" instead atleast that's what I read with the help of auto-translate skrjg-

Also a bit oot, but I suddenly thought of something with the mention of Ritania Kingdom- Just like how the name Babyloa and Mesotania might be based on Babylonia and Mesopotamia, do you think the name Ritania based on Britain???? Just something that passed my mind since in Indonesian, Britain is written as Britania-

Then... which country could Elamia be based on? Just a passing thought-
