Hello friends! I’m finally back from hiatus to show off a collab piece @/sacrxm and I made together for @queeroc-zine back at the beginning of the year!

Our two changeling OCs Oz (he/him - on the left) and Lux (they/them - on the right) were the perfect subjects for this project.

I really wanted to give these two another full illustration which made for a good excuse to explore this style to my current limitations. I learnt a lot but I also was so over it by the end ^^’ I know I want to move in a different direction, but this was still useful to see. That’s what the art process is all about, I guess!

Oh, also, seeing @morteraphan’s beautiful artworks of Lucian and Matthias was one of the main reasons I wanted to work on this one. Not exactly the same style of course, but they were a big inspiration.

A happy solstice ❄️✨

The crisp winter air seemed to suddenly release the grasp it had held on the Necromancer’s soul as the chamber filled with the scent of newly lit candles. Books, ink and papers were shoved aside, not quite carelessly but in a motion surprisingly uncharacteristic for the usually methodical scholar. The warmth of his companion’s gentle embrace under him felt eerie, yet familiar. A comfort his body had grown unaccustomed to, now rapidly turning into an imperative addiction.

Just realised I had never posted this illustration online! It was a winter solstice present for my partner (@ sacrxm). It features our changeling OCs: Lux (my character, on the left) and Oz (his character, on the right). I've seen your recent reblog of Lux. They're so neat!! I'm smitten by their design. Do you have any more art with them except the reblogged one or the one you've already posted (DnD monk with their human form)? If not, are you maybe planning on, umm, making some in the future? ;)

Omg this is so sweet! I love Lux very much so I’m really glad you like them too. I have a lot of art of them, actually, but not all of it online (since I’m planning on hopefully one day put together some sort of comic / webtoon / zine). But! since you asked so kindly, here’s a selection of a few of my favourites:

Your art is so very beautiful! I reeally love your Frankenstein and J/H drawings, but your ocs’ are also so cool! I rarely get into ocs but yours are 10/10, very interesting and wonderfully drawn
