My new Changeling OC for Pony D&D!! She was pretending to be Maud Pie until she was revealed and thus has been dubbed

'Mold Pie' I based her off images of moldy oranges, which you can see under the break!

Changeling OC, Juska

(And his loyal companion, Väinö)

Juska comes from Karelia and now resides in the Northern region of it in Finland after a part of it was lost in the Winter War.

Before the war happend, his biggest mission to the Janus Order was to fetch a piece of the Killahead bridge, that had been hidden into the Vyborg Castle.

Once evacuating to Northern Karelia, Juska settled into a lovely little cabin at a lake's shore.

He is really into hunting and primarily feeds on venison, which he hunts himself (as well as his own caught fish). He also runs a hunting equipment store as his human persona.

Juska has a thick coat of fur, which helps him to keep warm during the cold winters, and it has a similar texture to a reindeer's pelt. (Incredibly soft!)

His furred hooves also work like snow shoes.

Juska has a strong scent of an old cabin and firewood.

Väinö

Väinö is a Karelian bear dog, which is a traditional Finnish hunting dog. He's one of many Karelian bear dogs Juska has owned during his long life. (He's very fond of the breed)

Did you also see those talons that Juska has on his thumbs?!

Perfect for effortlessly opening beer cans! :D

He's maybe a little bit of an alcoholic as well

He's inspired from labradorite, specifically spectrolite, which is a rare type of labradorite only found in Finland.

(It's also the regional rock of Southern Karelia)

The Lady Buster is a character in my pony ttrpg campaign i run. she is the famous wife of an oil baron. Cilia has spent the campaign thus far disguised as her out of admiration. at least in large part because Buster is famous for inventing and driving cars in addition to being rich and beautiful. and Cilia is freaky about the combustion engine in addition to being gay.

So, CHANGELINGS

I'm still developing them and their history and origin story, but they are Morgana's creation. I don't think the Janus Order will differ too much from the canon one (I'm also planning to redesign Janus a bit.)

They are a relatively new troll "species", and they have a drastically shorter lifespan than normal trolls (still hella long tho), and they age faster.

They are also infertile due to their living stone being turned into dust, nor can they interbreed with humans (in human form, the parts are for disguise but have no reproductional function).

The members of the Order are responsible with making more changelings. This is done either by stealing young troll whelps from their parents or by creating new ones with stolen chunks of living stone. The birthstones are incubated in their base, and the whelps are nurtured until they're old enough to be exchanged.

Changelings are also immune to the sunlight, but overall aren't as durable as normal trolls.

And yes, Juska!

Those who are on the Discord server probably know this guy already-

Yes, so there are changelings who primarily look after the birthstones and whelps at the base, which will be turned into future changelings. I don't really have much info about them yet TwT

And Juska! I'm too tired to think of some new stuff rn, but here's a doodle of him playing with his dog!

Let's see what his fate will be then 😼 if I even have the heart to kill him off?
