And here is a general overview of the mini console:
Relive the Thrills and Emotion from Back in the Day
Originally released in Japan in 1987 as the TurboGrafx-16 home console captivated gamers with its revolutionary graphics and sound, and still holds a special place in the hearts of fans today.
Now, at long last, the TurboGrafx-16 is making a comeback!
It’s set to return in the form of the TurboGrafx-16 mini, a new compact model that comes preloaded with a selection of popular titles!
A Compact Version of a Classic Design
A faithfully scaled-down version of the original TurboGrafx-16 design, right down to the smallest detail. Don’t worry, though–the controllers are still their original size, allowing for exactly the same gameplay experience!
Key Features
Save at any time with Quick Save! – The console features a Quick Save function that allows you to save at any point during a game. Save your progress and continue playing when it’s convenient for you!
Choose from various display modes! – Not only is the console ready to plug and play using the included HDMI cable, it also features different modes that let you choose how your games look, such as by replicating the scanlines on a CRT TV.

Simultaneous five-player gaming with a multitap! – By using a multitap to connect additional controllers, up to five people can play together simultaneously. (Multitap sold separately.)

PC Engine Core Grafx Mini Review
Verdict
The PC Engine Core Grafx Mini is definitely impressive but is arguably designed to serve a much smaller audience when up against the PlayStation Classic and SNES Mini. It also boasts a higher price that some may find difficult to swallow.
Pros
A broad selection of classic games to choose from
Console itself is attractive and faithful to the original
User interface is a joy to…

Konami delays PC Engine Core Grafx mini over coronavirus • Eurogamer.net
“We deeply apologise to our customers…”
Konami has delayed the release of the PC Engine Core Grafx mini due to the coronavirus.
In a statement, the Japanese company said the manufacturing and shipping facilities in China were suspended due to the outbreak, and as a result the delivery of all PC Engine Core Grafx mini products are delayed until further notice. It had been due out 19th March 2020.
“We deeply apologise to our customers for the significant inconvenience, and we humbly ask for your understanding and patience while we keep our close attention on the situation,” Konami said.
“We are investing all of our efforts to deliver the PC Engine Core Grafx mini as soon as possible, and will provide further details on the deliver[sic] timing once confirmed.”
youtube
It looks like retailers are yet to get the memo. At the time of this article’s publication, Amazon’s listing for the 99.99 retro mini console still says it’ll come out on 19th March.
Coronavirus is currently sending shockwaves throughout the video game industry, with game companies such as Microsoft and Bungie asking staff to work from home, events such as the Game Developers Conference and Eve FanFest cancelled, and a question mark over the future of E3.
Could the release of the Xbox Series 5 and PlayStation 5, both due out later this year, also be affected?
