"proving" shifting through scientific evidence (& philosophic theory)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this post is heavily inspired by @voldyateme on tiktok. i saw her video and decided to do research on my own, and write a detailed post about this topic to make myself understand better. i also would like to mention that some of the claims irene made in her tiktok were wrong (and biased) i also wanted to clear some things up for myself.
fyi: long post ahead. this took me three days to understand and write. i might still be a bit unclear on my understanding of some aspects, but to avoid having to write a whole novel on the subject, i simplified my findings and shortened them by a lot.
-
john clauser is a physicist who won the nobel peace prize in 2022 for his work on quantum entanglement. his theory confirms that quantum particles can be entangled across vast distances, and that their behaviors are instantly connected, even if they're light years apart.
a very simplified example:
i: you create two entangled particles
ii: you send particle A to tokyo, and particle B to paris
iii: a person in tokyo measures particle A and sees it spinning up, then instantly, meaning instantly, faster than light, the person in paris will know particle B is spinning down
this is simply based on particle A or B's observation, w/o there having to be sent any message or signal between them. they behave as if they're one system - not two separate ones.
the moment you measure one particle, you're instantly aware of the other particle's state.
⭒ relating quantum entanglement to shifting:
okay so now we know that entangled particles act as of they're one system, even through long distances. so, if everything was once connected to the big bang, then on some level, everything may still be entangled. meaning you, your consciousness and other "versions" of yourself in other realities.
this could therefore suggest that we are already connected to all possible versions of ourselves. they exist within a quantum field of potential, and our awareness can shift between these versions by tuning into the version we desire - essentially by choosing a different frequency.
say you're listening to the radio. you know that you’re able to listen to any radio broadcast because there are thousands playing at the same exact time, but you choose which one to listen to, knowing you have the choice to change it to another.
it's the same exact with shifting. you know that there are endless versions of you in existence right this moment - you only have to choose to become aware of your desired self.
-
john wheeler, another physicist, proposed that reality is directly linked to our consciousness and what we observe. it's been demonstrated that particles don't move until they're actually observed. so if we're not observing something, it doesn't have a definite state at all. this is called the "observer effect"
the effect has challenged and in some ways helped disprove einstein's theory of realism. einstein believed that that the physical world exists independently of whether we observe it or not.
example: according to einstein, if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to observe it, the tree still falls. this is shown to be false on a quantum level. that said, we can't w/ certainty say that the tree does (or doesn’t) exist if no one is perceiving it (confusing, trust me, i know)
wheeler also proved that particles will change their makeup based on our choices and observation. simplified, this means that reality doesn't fully decide its state until it's observed. it can have different outcomes, and our choices affect the past behavior of particles.
⭒ relating the observer effect to shifting:
we know that quantum particles don't take on a definite form or "reality" until they're observed. this implies that our observation plays a direct role in shaping reality - not just by watching, but also deciding. this implies that reality isn't fixed, but fluid, shaped by our decisions, thoughts and observations and means we can "choose" our reality.
quantum physics shows that reality isn't fixed until observed, observation and consciousness do play a key role and that multiple outcomes are possible. so our consciousness focus can be said to be the mechanism that "shifts" us into a desired timeline or reality.
-
way before quantum physics existed, george berkley, a philosopher in the 1700s argued the idea "to be is to be perceived", which is eerily similar to what scientists are exploring today.
he believed that physical objects don't exist independently of our own perception. so if no one is for example perceiving a tree, then it doesn't exist.
berkeley said that there is no such thing as matter existing on its own w/o a mind to perceive it. BUT! there's a twist. you see, berkley also argued the existence of God being necessary to explain how the world works within his theory of perception and idealism.
okay so, to simplify because it can be really confusing:
i: physical things only exist if they're being perceived.
ii: when humans aren't perceiving things, God is.
iii: the reason why the world keeps existing even when we're not looking is because God is always "watching".
this raises the question: if we're not perceiving something, and the only reason it exists because God is, then how do we know it actually exists when we're not perceiving it?
berkeley responded:
"we know it exists because we can come back and perceive it again, and it behaves consistently"
if you look at a tree, walk away, come back. it's still there. berkeley argued that you assume the tree existed the whole time because when you go back, the tree would still be there, at the exact same spot.
this consistency would therefore be explained by God's continuous perception of it. so even though you didn't perceive it the whole time, the fact that reality is orderly and consistent is reliable "proof" that something (God) kept it there.
critics have argued back that assuming God is perceiving all the time isn't proof that He actually is, so how would we know that?
the answer is: w/o God, things would just pop in and out of existence every time we blink and that doesn't happen. so God is used to explain why the world is consistent and stable even when we're not watching.
you can't personally perceive something that you're not perceiving, but you trust that it's still there when you go back there, because of God.
berkeley's theory is still relevant today because the things he imagined in the 1700s do line up w/ scientific discoveries today and i resonate w/ his theory, so i just had to include it even though God’s existence isn’t proven. it’s fascinating, really.
⭒ relating george’s idealism to reality shifting:
if, like berkeley said, things only exist when they're being perceived, and if reality stays consistent because someone is always perceiving it, then that means perception isn't just passive, it's creative and shapes what exists.
this ties back to shifting beacuse it suggests that your desired reality doesn't need to "appear" in front of you for it to be real - it only needs to be perceived. if you consciously focus on your dr, perceiving it in your mind as real, then by berkeley's logic, it is real, maybe not in the physical sense just yet, but within the field of awareness that gives rise to reality in the first place.
so basically: if reality is perception based, and you're perceiving your dr, then you're giving form to something that exists because you're actively perceiving it, and you are capable of being in that place.

Doubts again? Sweetheart, I would tell you what anyone else here would but I wanna try something new.
Introducing; A Rant To Back Up Manifestation And Shifting With “Proof”
Hi. Hello. I don’t know why I’m starting an introduction as if I’m some philosophical giant that’ll change your perception of life but—hey did someone say perception? DING DING DING HOE! Consciousness does influence your perception of reality, this part is scientifically undisputed due to the fact that consciousness determines what you focus on, what you PERCIEVE, what your brain filters out and what you experience emotionally, mentally and behaviourally. You see what you believe, you experience what your nervous system thinks is true, it’s basic neuroscience and cognitive psychology.
Now, we get to Clauser, quantum entanglement and the death of local realism (sorry Einstein.)
John Clauser, a man who won the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics alongside Alain Aspect and Anton Zeilinger for proving quantum entanglement is real and disproving Einstein’s belief in local realism. Now, what is local realism?
Locality = objects only affect eachother if they’re near
Realism = things exist independently of observation.
Einstein believed in both as he hated the idea of spooky action at a distance, from his famous quote; “I like to think the moon is there even when I’m not looking at it.”
But Clauser, Aspect and Zeilinger used Bell’s Theorem and experiments with entangled photons to show local realism is FALSE! Yikes.. ya know what is true though? The following!
Particles are instantaneously connected across vast distances, their properties are not determined until measured and YOUR (yes, you, you cutie!) choice of how to observe a system can affect how reality behaves. Sounds familiar?
Manifestation…
In other words, observation changes outcomes. Entangled particles behave as a single system even light years apart.
That. Should. Not. Be. Possible.
Unless reality is NOT what we though.
Now—John Archibald Wheeler and the participatory universe.
Wheeler, mentor to Richard Feynman created:
The Participatory Anthropic Principle: observers play a creative role in how the universe behaves.
Delayed Choice Experiment: suggests that a choice made in the present can determine how a particle behaved in the past.
But let’s get into more!
Let’s say; you close your pretty eyes. You’re not observing particles. You create it. You’re visualizing, believing, and possibly creating (whether that would be creating the shift itself or something else)
Even if the mechanism is “unknown”, here’s what’s arguably true:
Belief alters perception.
Perception alters behavior.
Behavior and energy alter outcomes.
Intention affects probability in quantum systems.
Observation collapses waveforms into material form.
Repeated visualization & belief create synaptic patterns that change how your reality unfolds.
We don’t yet know the limits of this.
SCARY SHIT.
Reality is not stable. It’s participatory.
Reality is in flux until someone or something observes or engages with it.
And that’s the entire principle behind manifestation:
Reality conforms to your inner world. Not instantly. Not always obviously (unless ya want it to!). But reliably, if you’re consistent.
Let’s, once again look at what is now scientifically validated, Nobel-approved, or replicated.
1. Quantum Entanglement
Proven beyond doubt.
Described by Nobel-winning physicists.
Shows particles communicate across space faster than light, which violates classical causality.
Proves that separation is an illusion, all is interconnected.
Manifestation angle?
If everything is entangled, then what you do, what you think, ripples out. Energy, intention, emotion, it reaches farther than we can perceive.
2. Wavefunction Collapse / Measurement Problem
The act of measurement turns a probability into a concrete event.
Prior to that, the system is undefined, nothing is fixed.
Manifestation angle?
Until you observe it, your life is a quantum soup of probabilities.
Your decision to choose a reality (through belief, visualization, assumption, etc.) could be the thing that collapses the wave.
This is exactly what Neville Goddard taught, long before quantum physics confirmed it.
3. Placebo Effect (Scientifically Proven Thousands of Times)
Just believing a sugar pill is medicine causes real healing, often better than actual drugs.
Placebos can even work when people know it’s a placebo.
Belief alone changes biology, behavior, perception, and pain.
Manifestation angle?
Belief is not just “positive thinking.” It literally reshapes your biology and reality, sometimes against all odds.
4. Neuroplasticity & Visualization (Used by Olympians, Celebs, CEOs)
Athletes perform better just by mentally rehearsing.
Brain scans show real changes from imagining something—as if it’s really happening.
You can become someone new just by visualizing it repeatedly.
Manifestation angle?
Your brain can’t tell the difference between imagination and reality which means what you repeatedly envision becomes real to your nervous system, and then to your outer world.
5. Testimonies & Patterns (Anecdotal but GLOBAL)
There are millions of people across cultures, eras, and beliefs who have reported manifesting:
Love, money, healing, even physical changes
Against logic, effort, timing, or expectations
The very fact that there are so many people experiencing the same thing, from CEOs to kids on TikTok, proves there’s a phenomenon.
6. Diverse Methods, One Principle
People manifest through:
Law of Assumption (assume it’s done)
Law of Attraction (focus on the desire)
Scripting
Meditation
Vision boards
Prayer
Living “as if”
Gratitude loops
Quantum jumping
Affirmations
Dream work
Feeling it real
Letting go
Different methods. Same result:
Intention + belief + focus = external change.
That’s not magic. That’s quantum alignment meets neural reprogramming meets conscious selection of timelines.
I bet you’re wondering; “Oh, Author Nikolas! Is manifestation real?!?! Please tell me, I need to manifest and shift to Steve Harrington’s lap!”
At this point?
To say it’s not real would require ignoring:
Nobel Prize–winning science
Quantum mechanics’ destruction of fixed reality
The power of the placebo
Neuroscience’s evidence of belief reshaping brain and life
Global witness testimony across time
Personal experience, trial after trial
You don’t have to prove how it works to know that it works.
The GPS in your phone is based on Einstein’s relativity. You don’t understand that, but it still gets you home.
With all this in front of us, how can we not consider manifestation real?
Maybe it’s consciousness.
Maybe it’s quantum entanglement.
Maybe it’s the brain.
Maybe it’s all of it — you, the quantum field, the emotional charge, the infinite possibilities.
Maybe reality is listening.
Maybe it always was.
But realistically? I just wrote the end part for dramatics. It’s you, babe.
You. You are God. Don’t forget that.

Sharpening Our View of Climate Change with the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem Satellite
As our planet warms, Earth’s ocean and atmosphere are changing.
Climate change has a lot of impact on the ocean, from sea level rise to marine heat waves to a loss of biodiversity. Meanwhile, greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide continue to warm our atmosphere.
NASA’s upcoming satellite, PACE, is soon to be on the case!
Set to launch on Feb. 6, 2024, the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE) mission will help us better understand the complex systems driving the global changes that come with a warming climate.
Tumblr media
Earth’s ocean is becoming greener due to climate change. PACE will see the ocean in more hues than ever before.
While a single phytoplankton typically can’t be seen with the naked eye, communities of trillions of phytoplankton, called blooms, can be seen from space. Blooms often take on a greenish tinge due to the pigments that phytoplankton (similar to plants on land) use to make energy through photosynthesis.
In a 2023 study, scientists found that portions of the ocean had turned greener because there were more chlorophyll-carrying phytoplankton. PACE has a hyperspectral sensor, the Ocean Color Instrument (OCI), that will be able to discern subtle shifts in hue. This will allow scientists to monitor changes in phytoplankton communities and ocean health overall due to climate change.
Tumblr media
Phytoplankton play a key role in helping the ocean absorb carbon from the atmosphere. PACE will identify different phytoplankton species from space.
With PACE, scientists will be able to tell what phytoplankton communities are present – from space! Before, this could only be done by analyzing a sample of seawater.
Telling “who’s who” in a phytoplankton bloom is key because different phytoplankton play vastly different roles in aquatic ecosystems. They can fuel the food chain and draw down carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to photosynthesize. Some phytoplankton populations capture carbon as they die and sink to the deep ocean; others release the gas back into the atmosphere as they decay near the surface.
Studying these teeny tiny critters from space will help scientists learn how and where phytoplankton are affected by climate change, and how changes in these communities may affect other creatures and ocean ecosystems.
Tumblr media
Climate models are one of our most powerful tools to understand how Earth is changing. PACE data will improve the data these models rely on.
The PACE mission will offer important insights on airborne particles of sea salt, smoke, human-made pollutants, and dust – collectively called aerosols – by observing how they interact with light.
With two instruments called polarimeters, SPEXone and HARP2, PACE will allow scientists to measure the size, composition, and abundance of these microscopic particles in our atmosphere. This information is crucial to figuring out how climate and air quality are changing.
PACE data will help scientists answer key climate questions, like how aerosols affect cloud formation or how ice clouds and liquid clouds differ.
It will also enable scientists to examine one of the trickiest components of climate change to model: how clouds and aerosols interact. Once PACE is operational, scientists can replace the estimates currently used to fill data gaps in climate models with measurements from the new satellite.
Tumblr media
With a view of the whole planet every two days, PACE will track both microscopic organisms in the ocean and microscopic particles in the atmosphere. PACE’s unique view will help us learn more about the ways climate change is impacting our planet’s ocean and atmosphere.
Stay up to date on the NASA PACE blog, and make sure to follow us on Tumblr for your regular dose of sPACE!

Wearing a mask has several benefits. It can keep you from inhaling any respiratory hazards, such as particles of dust or smoke, poor air quality, and germs. Masks can also protect others and reduce the spread of infections if you have an illness.
Research has found that wearing masks, along with social distancing, has significantly curbed the spread of SARS-CoV-2—the virus that causes COVID-19.2 KN95 and N95 respirators have been shown to offer strong protection.
1. Keeps You From Spreading Germs Masks can help prevent you from spreading germs if you're already ill. Wearing a mask decreases the likelihood that you will exhale and spread germs into the surrounding air.
2. Prevents You From Getting Sick Infectious diseases can spread from exposure to droplets containing germs that cause diseases. Masks protect you from inhaling droplets when people around you breathe, cough, sneeze, or talk.1
A 2022 study showed that one person wearing a mask is partially protected from infectious droplet exposure from others with SARS-CoV-2. One-way masking is better than not using a mask—in other words, one person wearing a mask is better than no one wearing a mask.
3. Protects People With a Weak Immune System Masks protect people who have a weak immune system. They reduce or prevent exposure to germs that can make you very sick if you are immunocompromised. This means you have an immune system that does not work properly.
Immune system dysfunction may occur due to:
Chronic diseases, such as diabetes or cancer Conditions like HIV Therapies that suppress the immune system, such as radiation therapy
4. Reduces Exposure to Allergens Wearing a mask could decrease allergen exposure, especially if you have pollen allergies. A mask that covers your mouth and nose helps filter out pollen or irritants. Masks also change the moisture and temperature level of the air you breathe in, further reducing allergy symptoms.
5. Shields You From Poor Air Quality Wearing a mask can protect your respiratory system and general health when there is poor air quality because of pollutants.8 Categories of poor air quality range from moderate to hazardous on the Air Quality Index (AQI).
The AQI measures levels of the following pollutants with Clean Air Act regulations:
Carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, and sulfur dioxide: Gases from motor vehicles and industrial processes Ground-level ozone: Gas from the atmosphere referred to as smog when it reaches the ground Particle pollution: Particles made of sulfate, nitrate, carbon, and mineral dust chemicals Who Should Wear a Mask? All healthy children and adults should wear a mask when necessary. Talk to a healthcare provider to determine if and when to wear a mask if you are sick or at risk of getting very sick.
The following people should not or may not be able to wear a mask:
Children under the age of 2 People who cannot remove a mask or put one on without help People who have trouble breathing Those with certain disabilities who have trouble wearing masks (e.g., people who are sensitive to having something on their face) Choosing the Right Mask An effective mask will fit well: It won't be too tight or loose. It will also have high filtration of particles and droplets, measured by a percentage. High filtration means the mask does a good job of protecting you from those particles and droplets.
The most effective masks are ones approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). NIOSH-approved masks (or respirators) are tight-fitting and have higher filtration rates—usually greater than 95%. These masks also are best at protecting you and others when worn correctly.
The next best option is international filtering respirators such as KN95s. They offer at least 80% filtration and are also tight-fitting. Other masks—including barrier face coverings, disposable masks, and cloth masks—can have variable filtration and fit. While not as effective as N95s or KN95s, disposable masks can be easy to find, comfortable to wear, and better than cloth masks or no mask at all.
Other Considerations Follow this guidance to ensure proper mask wear:
Check the mask for any damage, and use a new one if there are any defects like holes or broken pieces. Choose a mask with multiple layers and, preferably, a nose wire to get a good fit on your face. Make sure your mask covers your mouth and nose once in place. It should also fit comfortably, but snugly, on your face. Wash your hands before putting on your face mask. You can wear a cloth mask on top of a disposable mask or a mask brace over disposable or cloth masks. You can also knot and tuck three-ply mask ear loops.
A Quick Review Masks have been used to protect against COVID and other infectious illnesses. Wearing them has other benefits. Masks may keep your allergy symptoms from getting worse, or they can keep you from pollutant exposure.
NIOSH-approved masks are the most effective, though other masks may be helpful, too, depending on the type of mask. Not everyone can wear a mask, but you should wear one that has a snug, comfortable fit if you can and when necessary.

Thought this was interesting, consciousness is based in quantum physics
Evidence of the Power of Thought on Perception and Reality
1. The Observer Effect (Double-Slit Experiment)
• In the famous double-slit experiment, when particles (like electrons or photons) are shot through two slits, they create an interference pattern, acting like waves.
• However, when a conscious observer measures or observes the particles, the wave function collapses, and they behave like particles instead.
• This suggests that observation (or measurement) influences the state of reality, raising the question: Does consciousness play a role in shaping what we perceive as physical reality?
2. Entanglement and Nonlocality
• Quantum entanglement occurs when two particles become linked, meaning a change in one instantly affects the other—no matter how far apart they are.
• Some propose that consciousness or thought itself might be capable of influencing entangled systems, implying a deep interconnectedness between mind and matter.
• Experiments by John Bell and others have confirmed that entangled particles communicate instantaneously, suggesting an unseen, nonlocal connection that defies classical physics.
3. The Wigner’s Friend Paradox
• Physicist Eugene Wigner proposed a thought experiment where one observer (his “friend”) measures a quantum system inside a lab while Wigner himself observes from outside.
• The paradox arises because, in quantum mechanics, the system remains in superposition (both states at once) until measured—implying that reality is dependent on who is observing it.
• This suggests that multiple realities could exist simultaneously, and consciousness plays a role in “collapsing” one particular reality into being.
4. The Orch-OR Theory (Consciousness & Quantum Processes in the Brain)
• Proposed by Roger Penrose and Stuart Hameroff, this theory suggests that consciousness arises from quantum processes inside brain microtubules.
• If true, this would mean that thought itself has a quantum basis and could interact with reality at a fundamental level.
5. Delayed-Choice Experiment (John Wheeler’s Thought Experiment)
• A variation of the double-slit experiment where the observer’s choice after the particle has passed through the slits determines how it behaved in the past.
• This implies that reality is not fixed until it is observed and suggests that the past itself may be influenced by present conscious choices.
These experiments suggest:
• Consciousness is deeply intertwined with quantum processes.
• Reality is not fixed and may be influenced by observation.
• Nonlocal connections between particles might extend to consciousness itself.

Mariner program
The Mariner program was conducted by the American space agency NASA to explore other planets. Between 1962 and late 1973, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) designed and built 10 robotic interplanetary probes named Mariner to explore the inner Solar System - visiting the planets Venus, Mars and Mercury for the first time, and returning to Venus and Mars for additional close observations.
Tumblr media
The program included a number of interplanetary firsts, including the first planetary flyby, the planetary orbiter, and the first gravity assist maneuver. Of the 10 vehicles in the Mariner series, seven were successful, forming the starting point for many subsequent NASA/JPL space probe programs.
Tumblr media
The name of the Mariner program was decided in "May 1960-at the suggestion of Edgar M. Cortright" to have the "planetary mission probes ... patterned after nautical terms, to convey 'the impression of travel to great distances and remote lands.'" That "decision was the basis for naming Mariner, Ranger, Surveyor, and Viking probes."
Tumblr media
Each spacecraft was to carry solar panels that would be pointed toward the Sun and a dish antenna that would be pointed at Earth. Each would also carry a host of scientific instruments. Some of the instruments, such as cameras, would need to be pointed at the target body it was studying. Other instruments were non-directional and studied phenomena such as magnetic fields and charged particles. JPL engineers proposed to make the Mariners "three-axis-stabilized," meaning that unlike other space probes they would not spin.
Tumblr media
Mariner 1 and Mariner 2
Mariner 1 and Mariner 2 were two deep-space probes making up NASA's Mariner-R project. The primary goal of the project was to develop and launch two spacecraft sequentially to the near vicinity of Venus, receive communications from the spacecraft and to perform radiometric temperature measurements of the planet. A secondary objective was to make interplanetary magnetic field and/or particle measurements on the way to, and in the vicinity of, Venus.
Tumblr media
Animation of Mariner 2's trajectory from August 27, 1962, to December 31, 1962. Mariner 2 ¡ Venus ¡ Earth.
Mariners 3 and 4
Sisterships Mariner 3 and Mariner 4 were Mars flyby missions.
Mariner 3 was launched on November 5, 1964, but the shroud encasing the spacecraft atop its rocket failed to open properly and Mariner 3 did not get to Mars.
Mariner 4, launched on November 28, 1964, was the first successful flyby of the planet Mars and gave the first glimpse of Mars at close range
Tumblr media
This archival image is an enhanced contrast version of the first Mars photograph released on July 15, 1965. This is man's first close-up photograph of another planet -- a photographic representation of digital data radioed from Mars by the Mariner 4 spacecraft. Data was either sent to Earth immediately for acquisition or stored on an onboard tape recorder for later transmission.
Tumblr media
The pictures, played back from a small tape recorder over a long period, showed lunar-type impact craters (just beginning to be photographed at close range from the Moon), some of them touched with frost in the chill Martian evening.
Mariner 5
Tumblr media
The Mariner 5 spacecraft was launched to Venus on June 14, 1967, and arrived in the vicinity of the planet in October 1967. It carried a complement of experiments to probe Venus' atmosphere with radio waves, scan its brightness in ultraviolet light, and sample the solar particles and magnetic field fluctuations above the planet.
Mariners 6 and 7
Tumblr media
Mariners 6 and 7 were identical teammates in a two-spacecraft mission to Mars. Mariner 6 was launched on February 24, 1969, followed by Mariner 7 on March 21, 1969. They flew over the equator and southern hemisphere of the planet Mars.
Mariners 8 and 9
Tumblr media
Mariner 8 and Mariner 9 were identical sister craft designed to map the Martian surface simultaneously, but Mariner 8 was lost in a launch vehicle failure. Mariner 9 was launched in May 1971 and became the first artificial satellite of Mars.
Mariner 10
Tumblr media
The Mariner 10 spacecraft launched on November 3, 1973, and was the first to use a gravity assist trajectory, accelerating as it entered the gravitational influence of Venus, then being flung by the planet's gravity onto a slightly different course to reach Mercury. It was also the first spacecraft to encounter two planets at close range, and for 33 years the only spacecraft to photograph Mercury in closeup.

Things Biden and the Democrats did, this week #4
Feb 2-9 2024
The White House announced that a landmark 23 million Americans, 1 in 6 households, have been connected to affordable high speed internet with the help of the Affordable Connectivity Program, saving Americans between $30 and $75 every month on their internet bill. 4 Million ACP users are seniors, 1/4th of households on the program are African American and 1/4th are Latino, and it supports 320,000 households on Tribal lands. Sadly the program will be forced to end if Republicans in Congress continue to block new funding
The White House announced $5 billion for a National Semiconductor Technology Center, focusing on research and development as well as workforce needs. This is part of an effort under the CHIPS and Science Act to make America a world leader in science and grow jobs for the 21st century. This will include hundreds of millions of dollars of investment in workforce development
The EPA announced finalized rules that will strength air quality standard around fine particle pollution, AKA soot. The new stronger rules are projected to prevent 4,200 premature deaths and save Americans $46 billion in health costs by 2032. Soot is particularly harmful to those with lung and heart illnesses, children and those with asthma. Industrial soot is more common in low income communities
The Department of Transportation announced $1.5 Billion investment in America's bus systems. The bulk of the money will go helping local transport authorities buy low or no emission buses. There will also be investment in bus facilities.

Exploring Non-Destructive Testing Radiography: Advanced Solutions for Material Integrity
Non-destructive testing (NDT) radiography is a critical technology in material inspection, providing sophisticated solutions for determining structural integrity without causing damage. If you search for "NDT labs near me," you'll find a variety of institutions outfitted with cutting-edge non-destructive testing equipment.
Radiography, an important NDT approach, uses X-rays or gamma rays to penetrate materials and identify interior faults. This technique is crucial in businesses where safety and dependability are paramount. NDT radiography enables detailed inspections of welds, castings, and other essential components, guaranteeing that they satisfy high quality standards.
In addition to radiography, non-destructive testing methods include hardness tests, ultrasonic testing, and material thickness measurements. A "hardness test non-destructive" approach can determine material hardness without causing harm to the component being evaluated.
Ultrasonic testing is another important NDT approach that uses high-frequency sound waves to discover flaws. An ultrasonic testing gauge, also known as an ultrasonic metal thickness tester or ultrasonic gauge thickness tester, precisely tests material thicknesses. These instruments are essential for metal thickness testing and material thickness assessment, ensuring that components satisfy the necessary criteria.
A material thickness tester, also known as a metal thickness testing equipment, is used to measure thickness precisely. These devices are critical for detecting anomalies in material dimensions, which could jeopardise structural integrity. Ultrasonic level detection is also useful for monitoring and measuring liquid levels within containers, which helps to improve overall system safety.
NDT radiography and other non-destructive testing technologies offer complete inspection solutions that ensure the dependability and safety of essential components in a variety of sectors. Whether you're looking for "NDT labs near me" or modern non-destructive testing solutions, these technologies provide unsurpassed precision and efficiency while preserving the highest standards of material integrity.

THE POSSIBLE SCIENCE OF SHIFTING : YOUR DESIRED LIFE MAY BE JUST A THOUGHT AWAY ˙⋆✮
okay, let’s get real about shifting. if you’re reading this, you’ve probably been at that point where your CR (current reality) feels more like a trap than the awesome life you were promised, and you’ve heard whispers of people shifting into their DR (desired reality)—be it a world where you’re a hero, chilling with your fav band, or just living a life that actually aligns with your dreams.
sounds magical, right? well, science is here to tell you: this might not be as out-there as it seems.
— THE CR IS LIKE… AN OLD MEME ?
first things first: your CR? it’s not as real as you think it is. like, really. science says that what you perceive as your physical reality is just a temporary projection of the energy around you. quantum physics comes in with the big reveal—our universe isn’t as solid as we think. it’s all about probability and potential. you might look at your CR and say, “yup, this is the life I’m stuck with,” but guess what? everything in that CR is a bunch of particles and waves that only collapse into solid form when you observe them. it’s called wave function collapse (fancy, I know), and it’s the reason why your life can change when you shift your perspective.
quantum physicist max planck once said that everything is energy and, energy is infinite. this means your reality isn’t just some rigid 3D box you’re stuck in—it’s fluid, it’s moldable, and you’re the sculptor.
— NEUROPLASTICITY &&& YOUR BRAIN: WHAT’S IT TO SHIFTING ?
so you know how every time you learn something new, your brain gets all pumped up and rewires itself? that’s neuroplasticity! your brain isn’t just stuck in the past or future, it’s constantly reconfiguring based on what you experience. the cool part? when you shift, you’re literally retraining your brain to live in a new, alternate version of reality. neuroscientists have found that the brain doesn’t distinguish between “real” and “imagined” experiences. when you vividly imagine yourself in your DR, your brain is like, “oh, this is happening now.” it reacts as if it’s part of your present reality. so when you step into your DR with conviction, your brain doesn’t even hesitate—it rewires itself, like a computer switching to a new operating system.
and don’t get it twisted: this isn’t some fuzzy “I hope this works” kind of thing. you are creating new pathways, new connections. your neurons are throwing a party, building a new map for your mind to follow, and suddenly—bam! your DR isn’t just a dream. it’s tangible. it’s on the other side of the veil, waiting for you to stop doubting it.
— THE 4D : THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS !
alright, let’s talk dimensions. we’re living in the 3D—length, width, and height. the rules of this world are rigid. things are “real” because we can touch them, see them, or measure them. but your DR? it exists in the 4D. and no, that’s not just a trendy tiktok hashtag, it’s literally a dimension where time and space bend, where things exist in multiple forms at once, and where possibilities are limitless. 4D is where your “shifting” happens, where every choice you make spins off into its own reality.
you know that slight discomfort you get when you start shifting? that’s your mind stepping into the 4D. you can’t touch it, you can’t always see it, but it’s there, like a shimmering layer that surrounds your CR. when you start seeing your DR, you’re tuning your brain to a different frequency—like flipping to another radio station, except this station has a whole new show, full of you as the main character.
here’s the cool part: the 4D doesn’t care about the rules of the 3D. that’s why when you’re in a lucid dream or during deep visualization, your mind doesn’t see limitations. it feels the new world. shifting is just your brain aligning with the vibrations of that alternate reality. boom—you’re there.
— THE POSSIBLE SCIENCE OF SHIFTING
now, don’t get spooked: this isn’t magic, it’s science in action. when you shift, you’re using a combination of brain power and quantum mechanics. your mind is like a receiver, tuned to a specific frequency—your DR. all the while, your physical body is still in your CR, but your consciousness? it’s dancing with the probabilities of your DR. it’s like the quantum superposition of particles: you exist in multiple states at once, and by focusing your attention, you collapse your wave function to lock into the version of reality you want.
you might be wondering, “but what if I’m not ready for it? what if I can’t believe it enough to make it real?” here’s the deal: your beliefs influence your neuroplasticity and quantum state. the more you feel that your DR is real, the more your brain rewires to support it. you literally start operating on that quantum level, where thought and reality are inseparable. every time you think about your DR, you’re collapsing probabilities and pulling your DR closer.
— HOW TO DEAL WITH IT ?
okay, so now that we’ve dropped some science knowledge, let’s talk about how to vibe with all of this. shifting isn’t about waiting for some random cosmic event or praying for a miracle. it’s about becoming the observer of your reality. when you stop clinging to the old, tired narratives of your CR, you free yourself to shift. you allow your mind to break free from the constraints of the 3D world and step into a world of infinite possibility. trust that your DR is just a thought away.
think about it like this: you’ve been living in one storyline, but you’re also the writer, the director, and the actor of your own movie. shifting is like picking up a pen and starting a new chapter. forget the plot holes of your current life, forget the limitations you’ve been given by society, your school, or your parents. this is your masterpiece, and you get to decide how it unfolds.
the most important thing is to trust the process. when you let go of your attachment to the CR, you start aligning with your DR. you stop doubting, you stop waiting for something “real” to happen, and you start living like the multi-dimensional being you are.
— FINAL THOUGHTS
shifting isn’t about escaping; it’s about expanding. the CR is your past, the DR is your future, and the 4D is the space in between where you get to shape everything. science backs it up: your brain, your energy, and the universe are all on your side. all you need to do is step into your power. shift, love.
— REFERENCES FOR THE CURIOUS MINDS !
it’s important to remember that certain facts are still purely theoretical, such as the ones for quantum superposition & parallel universes in general !
another thing is: i’m not a physics / philosophy / neuroscience / psych / cognitive science major, nor do i claim the things i say as factual. this is just something i’ve been fiddling around with, and as a junior high school student, know very little about.

The Local Fluff Illustration Credit: NASA, SVS, Adler, U. Chicago, Wesleyan
Explanation: The stars are not alone. In the disk of our Milky Way Galaxy, about 10 percent of visible matter is in the form of gas called the interstellar medium (ISM). The ISM is not uniform and shows patchiness even near our Sun. It can be quite difficult to detect the local ISM because it is so tenuous and emits so little light. This mostly hydrogen gas, however, absorbs some very specific colors that can be detected in the light of the nearest stars. A working map of the local ISM within 20 light-years, based on ongoing observations and particle detections from the Earth-orbiting Interstellar Boundary Exporer satellite (IBEX), is shown here. These observations indicate that our Sun is moving through a Local Interstellar Cloud as this cloud flows outwards from the Scorpius-Centaurus Association star forming region. Our Sun may exit the Local Cloud, also called the Local Fluff, during the next 10,000 years. Much remains unknown about the local ISM, including details of its distribution, its origin, and how it affects the Sun and the Earth. Unexpectedly, IBEX spacecraft measurements indicate that the direction from which neutral interstellar particles flow through our Solar System is changing.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO TURN LIGHT INTO SOLID??
Blog#488
Saturday, March 15th, 2025.
For the first time, researchers have transformed light into a "'supersolid" — a strange state of matter that is both solid and liquid at the same time.
Although scientists have made supersolids out of atoms before, this is the first instance of coupling light and matter to create a supersolid and it opens new doors for studying condensed-matter physics, researchers explained in a paper published March 5 in journal Science.
Tumblr media
But what exactly is a supersolid, and why is this new development so exciting? Here's everything you need to know.
Supersolids are a strange state of matter defined by quantum mechanics where particles condense into an orderly, crystalline solid but also move like a liquid that has no viscosity. (Viscosity refers to a substance's internal friction, governing how smoothly it flows). Usually, solids don't move on their own, but supersolids change direction and density depending on particle interactions while maintaining an organized lattice structure.
Tumblr media
Supersolids require extremely low temperatures to form — usually very close to absolute zero (minus 459.67 degrees Fahrenheit, or minus 273.15 degrees Celsius). Most of the particles have to occupy the lowest energy state available, and heat makes particles jump up and down like excitable toddlers in a ball pit.
If a material is cold enough, the temperature no longer obscures how the particles interact with each other. Instead, the tiny effects of quantum mechanics become the defining factors in how the material behaves.
Tumblr media
Imagine the toddlers have gone home and the ball pit has settled into a calm state. Now we can study in peace how the individual components of the ball pit interact with each other to define its characteristics.
Viscosity is a measure of how easily a fluid changes its shape. A fluid with a higher viscosity tends to stick to itself more and, therefore, resist movement, like how syrup moves more sluggishly when poured from a container compared with how water streams from a tap. All fluids, except superfluids and supersolids, have some amount of viscosity.
Tumblr media
Supersolids have been made from atomic gases before. However, the new research used a novel mechanism that relies on the properties of "polariton" systems.
Polaritons are formed by coupling photons (light) and quasiparticles like excitons through strong electromagnetic interactions. Their properties allow them to condense to the lowest possible energy state in a similar way to some atomic gases. In other words, light is coupled with matter, and together, they can be condensed into a supersolid.
