Catch-Up

A little catch-up post on my time with my adventures in Animal Crossing Gamecube! This isn't my first time playing this game, but it has been a hot minute since I last played over the years. I'm currently playing ACNH as well since it launched, but that's for another time! 🌱🌼🌱🌼🌱 Anyway, I started my play-through on 5/11/24! Town's name is Pinwheel, usually I'd name it Pinwheels but character limits! Town's fruit is pears and my town's villagers started off with: Tutu, Billy, Eloise, Emerald, Dizzy and Buzz. (Towns a bit bigger now though. I'm sure you'll see!) I thought Emerald was gonna be my favorite villager but I've grown an attachment to Tutu! Her Gamecube model is so cute and we've become besties in the game, although she did mention she wanted to leave after announcing this too me. Comedy Gold!

Anyway, I somehow convinced her not to move! And we're still pals! She was even the one who delivered me a gift in person on my Birthday (May 18th)! Wow! Donkey Kong!

As for progress, I've made a pretty good dent into collecting all the fish and fossils, but my bug collection could use some work...! 🐟🦴🐛 I'm also trying to collect all the Green-themed furniture as well as the Lovely set! I've been lucky to get so many pieces so early. I've been collecting as many plant items as well, which have been going great! 🌱🌿🌵 And as for my debt, I'm on the last one! The BIG ONE! I'm taking my time with it tbh. I suppose I should also mention I'm not one for Time-Traveling, in any of the Animal Crossing Games. I just don't like! Personally, I feel like it hurts the vibe of the game, but that's me. Anyway, I can't think of anything else of importance for my silly Animal Crossing blog just yet so here's this! I'm obsessed with the frog model in this game.🐸

Hi guys so I decided to pick a new outfit for my Caine plush Mr. Cuddles for his wedding and chose this considering that the was no sleeves so the sleeves wouldn’t get in the way unlike his tuxedo lol! 🤣 anyways so I’ve kind of changed plans a bit just for the outfit for him. Anways I’ll send you an image and show you what I chose from Build-A-Bear

PS: By the way I’m not completely sure if the shorts will work or not but if they don’t I might leave them out…

Funguary 24 - Purple Pinwheel

The name of this mushroom kinda reminds me of a circus, so I went for a clown girlie today. I wish her silhouette was a bit more exaggerated like the actual mushroom, but other than that I'm still quite happy with how she looks :)

Yuka is a villager that has moved in fairly recently to Pinwheels! I recall having her in my very first Animal Crossing town as a kid, but I wasn't fond of her. Silly younger me! She's a delight!! The snooty dialogue is so funny! Anyway, it seems like I always trigger food related chats with her and she just gets me!! Pancake Picnic? That is Bliss. 🥞

Recently, Yuka was asking me about camping meals and selected spaghetti out of the options given....and I haven't stopped thinking about it... That would be a pretty sick camp dinner the more I think about it. Surely, a lot of work but, wouldn't that make the meal taste the more better? I think it might. Although, I wonder how you would make the garlic bread. That's a must with spaghetti for me! How would that go? I suppose it depends on the camping equipment or the camp grounds...🍝

Every year when the Rusties do Secret Santa, Fender and Piper always pick each other.

Fender loves wearing Christmas bowties. Especially with pictures on it.

Piper loves to bake Christmas cookies with Aunt Fanny. Her favorite type of cookie is sugar.

Fender's favorite type of cookie is chocolate chip.

Fender still believes in Santa.

Piper is a professional ice skater.

Piper's favorite Christmas movie is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Fender's favorite Christmas movie is Elf.

Piper has an Elf on the Shelf who she named Taylor (I have an Elf on the Shelf and his name is Taylor so yeah)

Once, Fender touched Taylor by accident and thought he had killed him. He apologized to Piper multiple times.

(Piper knows Santa isn't real. And she knows that the Elf on the Shelf isn't really alive. But she won't tell Fender)

Fender usually makes homemade gifts for the Rusties.

Idk what possessed me to play fo4 in survival mode but I’m committed even if I’ve reloaded my game 5 times bc a Mr Gutsy (with a skull next to his name) comes out of nowhere to hunt my ass down before I get to diamond city

Thinking about the confession and kiss scene still makes me feel like I've missed several steps. Like I keep trying to catch my balance and it's just not happening. I never fully faceplant, but I keep almost faceplanting, over and over and over, and it's one of the weirdest feelings I've ever experienced. I can't believe there was a confession and kiss scene. It's been months and it's still surreal.
