Kate Bush - Hounds of Love

What an amazing record! This album in my opinion truly shows Kate's versatility and creativity to the highest extend. Her singing was on Point. The instrumentals were great, and her song writing matured a lot (same as on the dreaming). As time goes on it gets clearer that she found her musical purpose with each album. And comparatively speaking this album is LOADED with some of the best pop songs you will ever hear. I usually don't mention songs in my overall thoughts for an album but with Cloudbustin and Jig of Life it's literally impossible not too. I'm very excited to relisten this one and the dreaming again. Bush's discography is my favorite of the ones I'm actively listening too easily

But suprisingly enough I'm not sure if I like this one or the dreaming more as the dreaming in my opinion is the slighty more consistent and more conceptually interesting album. But the highs of this album are just undeniable

Also it was hot as shit the last few days and I was trying to go outside but considering the heat and that I'm on my diet it absolutely killed me lmao
