DP X Marvel #32
It all began when Dr. Jasmine Fenton—Jazz, to the brave and traumatized—walked into the Avengers Compound in five-inch block heels, a blood-red blazer, and a clipboard with everyone’s most damning psychological profiles printed in 12-point Times New Roman. She had been hired because, quote, “the last six therapists either quit, cried, or developed their own hero complexes.” SHIELD had gone through the best and brightest the world had to offer. They even tried a Wakandan empathy AI once. It cried. The AI cried.
So when Jazz Fenton walked in, armed with a dual PhD in clinical psychology and trauma therapy, the last thing they expected was that she’d personally know what hero trauma looked like. But she did. Her baby brother was a half-ghost interdimensional guardian who once got hit by a nuke and walked it off. Her parents were mad scientists who tried to dissect him. And her godfather was an immortal corporate vampire with a crown kink and a habit of kidnapping. She had seen things. She understood. And more importantly, she didn’t care. She wasn’t here to coddle them.
“Dr. Fenton,” Steve Rogers greeted politely that first morning.
“Please, call me Jazz,” she said with a smile that made even Natasha lower her coffee. “Or Doctor Fenton if you’re about to lie to me.”
Tony Stark made the mistake of raising an eyebrow. “Oh? What are you gonna do, psychoanalyze me into submission?”
She flipped to his file. “‘Severe abandonment issues, destructive self-worth tendencies, martyr complex buried under layers of narcissistic deflection, sleeps three hours a night, probably cries in the shower—’”
“I don’t cry in the shower!”
“That is because you don’t shower, Mr. Stark.”
That shut him up.
From that day onward, fear fell over the Avengers Compound like a thick, fragrant fog of anxiety. Jazz was everywhere. One moment she was on the roof with Clint discussing his grief over Budapest, the next she was in the lab with Bruce making him cry, and the moment after that she had Loki in handcuffs—not because he was arrested, but because he asked for them.
“I just think maybe I’m too attached to the idea of being hated,” Loki muttered, slouched on the therapy couch.
“You are,” Jazz replied, checking her notes. “You’re addicted to conflict because you’ve built your identity on being an outsider. Every time you’re offered genuine affection, you self-sabotage. You’re not a villain, you’re just a lonely youngest child.”
“I—” Loki blinked. “That is horrifically accurate. And incredibly offensive.”
“Cry harder, Sparklehorn.”
Thor, meanwhile, loved her. Adored her. Followed her around like an emotional support golden retriever with lightning powers. He kept trying to give her things—golden goblets, fur cloaks, an entire goat—until one day she casually picked up Mjolnir while fixing a crooked painting and everyone screamed.
“How the fuck—” Sam Wilson shouted.
“Why can she do that?” Peter Parker asked from the ceiling.
“Therapists shouldn’t be worthy!” Tony wailed. “It’s not natural!”
Jazz shrugged and handed the hammer back to Thor. “I was forged in the fires of Midwestern neglect and ghost radiation. You think Odin can break me? Try surviving your brother getting publicly disemboweled by a government robot while your parents take notes.”
She had no chill. None. She was the only person who called Wanda out on her grief projection, made Bucky talk about his repressed ballet skills, and forced Steve to draw a family tree so she could scream “YOUR ENTIRE FRIEND GROUP IS CODEPENDENT.”
“Group therapy!” she declared one Tuesday.
“No,” said literally everyone.
“Too bad. Show up or I will personally guilt you in front of the media using your own trauma receipts.”
And they did. They came. They came because they were afraid.
Tony sat with arms crossed. “This is stupid.”
“Tell that to your inner child.”
“I don’t have one.”
“Exactly.”
Clint sighed. “This is worse than Budapest.”
“Everything is worse than Budapest,” Natasha replied.
Wanda blinked slowly. “I think I just astrally projected my own anxiety. It’s hovering above me like a raincloud.”
Jazz didn’t even blink. “Let it hover. Let it watch you cry. Maybe it’ll finally grow up.”
Civil War? Canceled.
No one dared fight each other under Jazz’s watch. When tensions began rising between Tony and Steve over the Sokovia Accords, she locked them in a soundproof room with juice boxes and didn’t let them out until they hugged it out like the emotionally repressed golden retrievers they were.
“I will tranquilize you both,” she warned through the door. “I have the darts and the upper body strength. Don’t tempt me.”
They made up within the hour.
At one point, Nick Fury tried to get involved. He barged into one of Jazz’s sessions like he still ran SHIELD.
“What the hell kind of therapy involves throwing knives at a target while crying?” he demanded.
Jazz, unfazed, handed him a stress knife. “Want to try?”
He did. And then immediately rebooked weekly appointments.
By week four, the compound was transformed. Hulk was journaling. Peter was actually doing his homework. Wanda was learning healthy coping mechanisms that didn’t involve mind-controlling entire suburbs. Clint and Natasha were having pillow talks about emotional vulnerability. Even Loki was crocheting.
“Do you know what I’ve done?” he whispered as he stitched a duck.
“I’ve read your file,” Jazz said. “And your Tumblr tag. You’re not special.”
“I am special—”
“You’re traumatized, sweetie.”
Meanwhile, Tony—still deeply suspicious—began following her around trying to find proof she was a Hydra sleeper agent. What he found instead was her absolutely unhinged family.
“You’re related to who?” he asked over coffee one morning.
Jazz sighed. “My little brother is Danny Phantom, ghost-powered superhero and part-time physics major. My godfather is Vlad Masters, ex-billionaire and full-time supervillain with a complex. My parents are Jack and Maddie Fenton.”
Tony blinked. “The guys who duct-taped a rocket to a lawnmower and called it science?”
“The very same.”
“No wonder you’re like this.”
Jazz nodded. “Exactly. I was forged in chaos and trauma. Now I’m here to fix you.”
“I don’t want to be fixed.”
“Too bad. I’ve already started rebuilding your psyche.”
“What does that mean—”
“Check your inner monologue. Notice how it’s stopped calling you a worthless meat puppet?”
Tony screamed.
Even Doctor Strange, who allegedly had the answers to the universe, found himself in a corner drinking tea and rethinking the way he suppressed his emotions with sarcasm and facial hair.
“You’re not mystical, Stephen,” Jazz told him. “You’re just emotionally constipated.”
“I literally astral project.”
“Cool. Now try emotional projection. Maybe apologize to Wong.”
“…Wong is asleep.”
“Wake him up.”
By month two, even the press noticed. The Avengers were glowing. Smiling. Making eye contact during press conferences instead of brooding like middle school theater kids.
“What changed?” a reporter asked.
Tony grabbed the mic. “Her name is Jazz Fenton and she scares the hell out of us.”
Steve nodded solemnly. “She made me cry six times in one session. I told her about my dad.”
“She made me draw my feelings,” Clint added.
“I finally cried about Pietro,” Wanda whispered. “In public. It felt amazing. I think I vomited emotions.”
“Dr. Fenton helped me write a song about my grief,” Thor said proudly. “It’s a power ballad. With goats.”
And then came the incident.
The one time the Avengers tried to disobey her. Sam and Bucky had been arguing again. Loudly. And somewhere in the chaos, someone dared say, “It’s not like Jazz can stop us.”
Wrong.
So, so wrong.
Jazz calmly walked into the sparring room, confiscated Bucky’s knife mid-twirl, took Sam’s wings with one hand, and sat both men down with the force of divine intervention.
“You two,” she said in a voice that made the walls tremble, “are not enemies. You are trauma-bonded enemies-to-friends-to-exes-to-besties. You are a trope. You are a fanfiction tag. You are not about to regress into kindergarten slap fights because one of you forgot the others’ favorite breakfast order.”
“…He forgot my birthday,” Sam muttered.
“Because he has memory trauma! You have it too! You both need to go on a spa day and cry it out in a hot tub like normal people.”
And they did.
They actually did.
The day Jazz left for a conference—just one day—the entire compound fell into shambles. Loki started monologuing again, Peter accidentally built a sentient AI who wrote poetry about death, Wanda started glowing red again, and Tony tried to weaponize emotional damage via sarcastic limericks.
The moment she came back, they all lined up like chastised children.
“What did I say about emotionally projecting without supervision?” she asked.
“Don’t do it,” they chorused.
“And?”
Peter sniffled. “We missed you.”
“Damn right you did.”
Jazz smiled, terrifying and fond, and flipped her clipboard. “Now. Who wants to talk about their mother?”
And the Avengers, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, sat down.
Because nothing—not Chitauri, not Ultron, not even Thanos—was scarier than the therapist who could lift Mjolnir and your deepest childhood wound in the same breath.
Dr. Jasmine Fenton was the real hero. And everyone knew it.

The thing about MCU!Thor is that to me he is an A+ student whose favorite subject is mass murder. I bet he got plenty of rewards and praise for it, and it has both inflated his ego for the past millennia and become tied to his self-worth as a result.
Whenever I see Loki's manipulation discussed, it's along the lines of "Thor is stupid/gullible and shouldn't be king because of that" when it should be "Thor WANTED a war. Thor LOVES battle. He's not ready because of this." Loki knew Thor wanted to fight (and hot take: Loki's nudge would not have worked on some pacifist). Look at the murderous glee he has in anticipation during the Jotunheim incident. He's like: (\(^_^)/)
Another instance I can think of is how confident he is at first about getting Mjolnir back, and getting through all those SHIELD agents. He knows he can do it because it's what he is good at and what he ties his self-worth towards. He thinks he knows the rules to get Mjolnir back, but then he learns it didn't work, and he begins to show fear and despair. Tell me it doesn't have vibes of someone that doesn't know how to deal with failure.
I saw something in a fic where his reaction to being called "princess" was because "he thought it was aimed at Loki", and it really ruins the context and misses the point. Thor was EAGER to fight, and took the opportunity with the insult. And I hate this tendency to make pre-T1 Thor a perfect brother to Loki and ray of sunshine. The point is that he undergoes redemption in T1. To say that he didn't need it and Loki just tricked him misses the point. He also gets dumbed down because he's not allowed to be morally gray, so any bad things he did were due to gullibility(e.g. "trusting too much/loving Loki too much"<- that's a kind of flaw that annoys me in characters that are portrayed otherwise good; it's such a cop out) instead of flawed morality.
I think that by making Thor 100% good, he ends up getting very dumbed down. In my experience, unless the fic was written by some Loki stan that projects too much and ships Frostiron (or someone who has a brutish Thor kink in some AU where they're not brothers and it may be tagged with "Dark Thor"), Thor is made out to be too nice. He is basically the perfect brother to Loki and his moral flaws are basically that "he's just a gullible himbo." And I just don't think that was the case, and it also simplifies Thor as a character when his war-like tendencies are ignored.
TLDR: Thor is neither himbo nor brute. But he's not nearly as kind as he's often flattened to be. He should have a dark side.

"I've not seen someone move as fluid in a set of MJOLNIR. I know it's meant to be a second skin for us, but bloody hell..." - Spartan Kyle Garrick, on fellow FT141 member Jade Le Jardin
Tumblr media
S-IV Jade Le Jardin, currently attached to Fireteam 141, is a former ONI field intelligence officer from Section One.
She was originally considered as a candidate for the Spartan III program, having been orphaned in an attack in the outer colonies. She spent a couple of years in the system before being adopted by loving parents who were serving in the UNSC. Her family's own career inspired her decision to enlist herself upon reaching the required age, where she quickly achieved high scores throughout basic training.
Her talents and high scores caught the attention of the Office of Naval Intelligence, where she was recruited into Section One and responsible for conducting deep reconnaissance against Covenant forces.
Towards the end of the Human Covenant War and following the rise of the Created, Jade was selected to receive augmentations and training through the Spartan IV program, quickly being seconded to Spartan Fireteam One-Four-One under the command of Fireteam Leader John Price.

This is just me indulging in some crossover brainrot with some friend's OCs. This is part of a project in which I'm creating MJOLNIR armour suites for different MW characters, and Jade's was the 'experimental' piece.
Consider this a belated Christmas present, heh...

I'm late to the RvB OC week party, because of a project for my design course but. I'm just going to post everything late! So:
Day One: Introduction
I have a lot of OCs, 13 to be specific. They're the members of the Project Freelancer Canadian Division (aka CanDiv), a program advertised as an opportunity to allow uniquely talented neurodivergent people to contribute to the war effort against the Covenant. However, the true purpose of this program was to study the impact of AI on a variety of neurodivergences in a more in-depth manner, as well as the impacts of these conditions on performance as an agent and on their capabilities as a team. CanDiv agents were kept separate from the American Division, with the AmDiv agents even being fed rumours of "insanity, instability, and violence" to ensure they avoided CanDiv agents.
My main focus has always been on Agent Alberta and Agent Nova Scotia, who were the first recruits to the program.
Agent Alberta (she/they), aka Ali, is Alison Henley, a recon specialist with ADHD-CT, the impulsive nature of which means she rarely hesitates in battle and is quick to improvise solutions to problems on the fly. They favour a DMR or a sniper rifle, and their armour is equipped with a hologram projection module.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Agent Nova Scotia (she/her), aka Nova, is Kris Henley, a stealth specialist with PTSD, which provides the hypervigiliance that ensures she's constantly aware of her surroundings and planning for anything and everything to go wrong. She favours dual SMGs or a battle rifle, and her armour is equipped with a speed enhancement module.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Picrew source: x
Originally, these two were not even part of the military- however, they were civilian researchers at a U.N.S.C. research university on the planet of Camber. Cousins Alison and Kris Henley were studying biomedical engineering and xenobotany, respectively- Ali involved in research of neural interfaces, and Kris involved in biosynthetic materials development. They attracted the attention of Project Freelancer after the glassing of Camber, the story of which can be read at the following link:
After their recruitment, Alberta and Nova Scotia spent some time in training with some of the lower-ranked, late recruitment members of the AmDiv. However, the majority of their time was actually spent doing research for the project- developing the specialized neural interfaces and materials that would be used in the adaptation of MJOLNIR armour for non-augmented bodies. They ended up becoming very involved in the testing of these suits of armour, and ended up with a lot of expertise in using and modifying the systems. After the successful launch of this project, codenamed Ukonvasara, the rest of the CanDiv was recruited, and they were sequestered completely from the AmDiv.
After a great deal time spent serving in the Project as full-fledged agents, the CanDiv's AI implantations began. Unlike the AmDiv, however, the CanDiv implantations were done in short but gradually increasing stints, using the AI Eta and Iota. These fragments proved to be extremely hard on many of the agents, who were nevertheless forced to take them on for longer and longer stints. When the agents protested, they were shut down and subjected to less and less support on missions. Eventually, one of the Canadian agents discovered that Ali and Nova were slated to be implanted permanently, and the team agreed more serious action needed to be taken in protest. They staged an attack, wherein Ali and Nova pretended to be loyal to the project, and instead faked the deaths of the two agents by placing tracking hardware spoofing their armour's signal into a pelican, ejecting it from the ship, and causing it to self-destruct. Then in the chaos of the team fighting the rest of the project's security forces, and some members of AmDiv, Ali and Kris slipped themselves into the rank and file of some Sim Troopers who happened to be on board, and escaped.

Ash and After - Part 16: And Still, He Chooses Her
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wayne Tower Rooftop Garden – 7:02 a.m.
Bruce was already there. In black, as always. Coat collar up.
The Gotham skyline burned faint orange behind him.
Alfred said nothing. Just set the second cup on the ledge beside
Bruce and quietly left.
Clark stepped up beside him.
Didn’t speak.
Not yet.
Bruce didn’t look away from the skyline. “She’s smiling in her sleep,” he said eventually.
Clark nodded.
“She doesn’t scream anymore.”
Another nod.
Clark turned.
Brows drawn. Jaw tense.
Bruce still didn’t look at him.
“Lois?” Clark asked softly.
Bruce reached into his coat.
Handed him the datapad.
Pressed play.
“Hello… hi… I don’t know if anyone can hear me…”
“My name is Lois Lane…”
Clark didn’t breathe for thirty full seconds.
Not until the message ended.
Not until Bruce said, barely above a whisper:
“I don’t know if she’ll survive this.”
Clark’s voice cracked.
“Do you think I will?”
Bruce looked at him finally.
“I think she’d rather break for you now than watch you shatter later.”
Clark looked down at the screen again.
Closed his eyes.
And nodded.
Tumblr media
Wayne Tower – Strategy Room
Tony stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the edge of the conference table, eyes tracking across the alien telemetry projected on the screen. Blueprints, orbital paths, pulsing threat assessments. All glowing like some anxious heartbeat in Bruce’s private tower.
“Let me get this straight,” he said, blinking. “You want to drop a god, a billionaire, and a guy in a flying tin can into a hellzone built by robo-raiders and scream cultists—just to bring back your dead girlfriend?”
Clark didn’t flinch.
“She’s not dead,” he said, voice quiet.
“She was,” Tony muttered.
“Enough,” Bruce snapped, not even turning. He was pacing. Coat off. Sleeves rolled up. Eyes bloodshot. “We’re going. You can whine on the way.”
Thor stood beside the schematics, tapping Mjolnir against his palm. He’d been silent since the briefing began. “I owe her nothing,” Thor said finally. “But I owe him. And this? This I can do.”
Tony threw up his hands. “Great. Emotional thunder daddy is in. Now it’s a party.”
“Tony,” Bruce warned.
“No—seriously. I’ll go. We’ll get her. But we’re not pretending this doesn’t change things.”
Clark looked at him. Steady. Still calm.
“I’m not asking permission.”
Tony met that look. Hard. Then, a beat later, he exhaled. “Yeah. I know.”
A long silence fell.
Then Bruce turned toward Clark. “She doesn’t know yet, does she?”
Clark didn’t answer. Just shook his head once.
“She’ll understand,” Thor said quietly.
Bruce replied. “She’ll try to.”
Tumblr media
Wayne Tower – Your Bedroom – 7:58 a.m.
The bed is warm. Sunlight pools across the sheets like someone spilled it on purpose. You roll over into the empty space beside you. Reach out— Still warm. But fading. Your hand closes around nothing. No note. No footsteps. Just the faint hum of the elevator and a silence that feels... too full. You sit up, blanket around your shoulders, blinking against the light. Something in your chest tugs. Not pain. Not yet. But the kind of shift that comes right before a storm.

Avengers Quinjet – En Route to Planetary Orbit – 8:19 a.m.
Clark sat near the back, eyes forward, fingers clenched in his lap. He wasn’t thinking about space. Or weapons. Or the woman they were going to save. He was thinking about the one he didn’t wake.
“Please,” he whispered to himself loud enough for Bruce to hear, voice swallowed by the engines. “Let her know this isn’t me leaving.”

Planetfall
The sky was the color of blood left too long in the air. Black stone split the horizon, jagged as bone shards, crackling with dull red pulses from the tech lattice buried beneath the crust. It was hot—dry heat. Radiant and hollow.
Clark hovered twenty feet off the ground, cape rippling in the searing updraft, eyes burning red with restraint.
Below him, Thor raised Mjolnir to the cracked sky. The weapon hummed like it could taste war.
“Gate is sealed with some kind of foreign alloy,” Bruce reported through comms. “Not vibranium. Not Earth-adjacent. You’ll need brute force.”
“I am brute force,” Thor rumbled, stepping forward.
Tony’s voice cut in. “Not before I finish sweet-talking their outer perimeter. If I trigger a failsafe—”
“Too late,” Thor said, and drove Mjolnir into the ground.
The shockwave cracked the entry gate in half. No alarms. Because this wasn’t a place built to warn. It was built to keep things in.
Clark dropped silently beside them. His eyes locked on the central tower—rising out of the ash-dusted plains like a stake driven into the planet’s heart.
“She’s down there.”
Tony activated his HUD.
“You sure?”
“She’s crying,” Clark said quietly. No one argued after that.
They entered through the breach Thor made—jagged, glowing faint blue at the seams.
The walls were unnaturally clean. The light too white. Everything built like an afterthought of order.
But it reeked of suffering.
Tony hacked the first security grid.
Bruce patched in remotely.
“Two floors down. Life signature isolated. Weak. Alone. No guards.” Clark’s fists clenched.
“That’s a trap,” Bruce muttered.
“I don’t care,” Clark said—and blurred forward in a red streak.
They found her in a glass chamber.
No doors. No ventilation.
Just Lois. Slumped against the far wall, one hand bloodied from trying to bang her way out.
When she looked up and saw him— She didn’t speak. She just ran.
Clark phased through the wall like it wasn’t there.
She collided into him with a sob. Wrapped her arms around his neck. “I thought—I thought I was going to die here…”
Clark held her tight. His hands gripped her back. Her waist. Her hair. He buried his face in her shoulder and whispered into her skin. “I’m here. You’re safe now.”
She wept into his chest. And he let her.
Thor and Tony held back, silent.
Even Bruce, watching through the camfeed, didn’t speak.
Lois pulled back finally, hands still clinging to his suit. “You found me…”
Clark’s throat worked hard. “I tried, Lois. I tried for so long. I tore apart stars for you. I made deals I’ll never forgive myself for. And then I—” “I stopped.”
Tears slid down Lois’s cheeks.
“But you came anyway.” She reached up. Took his face in both hands. “We’re here now. Just like before.”
She leaned in—
But Clark’s hand caught her wrist.
Gently.
“Lois… I can’t.”
She blinked. Stilled.
“What do you mean?”
His eyes closed.
He couldn’t say it.
But she saw it anyway.
“Is there someone else?”
He didn’t lie. Didn’t move. Just looked away.
Lois exhaled like something inside her had snapped. She nodded once. Jaw tight. Eyes wet. But proud. “Okay,” she whispered.

Avengers Quinjet – Return Flight
The ship hummed with soft gravitational pulses, barely audible over the whisper of space around them.
No one spoke.
Lois sat buckled into the rear passenger row, knees drawn up, arms wrapped around herself like they might hold her together better than anyone else could.
Clark sat across from her, back ramrod straight, jaw clenched.
He was holding something in. He always did.
Thor sat one row forward, one hand loosely gripping a strap, head bowed. Mjolnir at his feet like it too was waiting for something to crack.
Tony flew the ship. No quips. No sarcasm. Just silence.
Clark’s eyes barely moved from the floor.
Until Thor broke it. Not loud. Not cruel. Just… quiet. “You are loyal, Clark Kent.”
Clark’s gaze lifted. Thor didn’t look at him. “To people. To grief. To pain that isn’t yours anymore.”
Clark swallowed. “Then why does it still feel like mine?”
Thor turned to him. Not godlike. Just human for a moment. “Because you’re still waiting for someone to tell you that you’re allowed to leave the burning building before it collapses.”
Clark said nothing.
Lois’s eyes flicked toward him—a glance he didn’t see. Then back to the stars. Part 17

In a 1v1, how quickly does the Galactic Empire get skullfucked by the Imperium with both at peak strength?
Pretty quickly, honestly. The Empire doesn't have the numbers alone to keep up with the Imperium, and Project Stardust (The Death Star's creation) was a massive super secret deal for them. In 40k the ability to blow up a planet is... not particularly special.
That said, for the sake of balance we shouldn't encourage a one-sided Imperium circlejerk, so I'm going to throw out another IP vs IP fact that massively sets off any Space Marine fan who hasn't read the Halo books; an Astartes would get bodied by a Spartan in close quarters. MJOLNIR armour is far more advanced and provides far more of a strength and speed boost than any Mk of space marine armour. Astartes are basically T'au in that situation. Extreme advantage at range, but watch out!
IP vs IP is so stupid

This entire project took almost all of summer vacation…
I know both Cub isn’t part of the life series, but I just couldn’t resist!
Southlanders
Team B.E.S.T.
The Scottage + Gem
Fairy Fort
Joel - “Bolt” - The Chariot Arcana - Zeus/Thor
“Former” delinquent and architecture student, Joel is abrasive, sarcastic, and even a little mean spirited. He has a short temper, but is highly protective of his friends, especially Jimmy. He tends to poke fun at his friends, and refuses to give up on anything, even if the odds are against him and it’s best to admit defeat. The only one who can reign him in is his girlfriend, who he is hopelessly in love with and can match his stubborn personality with her own. And remember; He’s not obsessed with that stupid engineer with the face mask.
His persona in the metaverse is Zeus. Joel’s Empires character was a Zeus like figure, so why not have him as his persona? Zeus is known for messing in mortal affairs for better or for worse, either punishing those who wrong him or “inconveniencing” anyone who catches his eye. He is the god of storms and can summon lightning with ease, and has an ego to match.
His Ultimate Persona is Thor, The Norse god of strength, storms, and thunder, much like Zeus. Thor wields the legendary hammer Mjolnir, which can smite anything that it hits. He’s noted for his temper and the time Mjolnir was stolen and he had to dress as Freyja in a wedding dress to take it back.
Scar - “Mage” - The Fortune Arcana - Pied Piper/Mephisto
An actor for an up and coming popular superhero show. Although he appears as a non-serious, goofy, and lighthearted demeanour, beneath that silly exterior is a cunning and intelligent hitman, with several kills under his belt. With the helps of his teammate and co-owner Cub, he created a hitman business (called “ConCorp”) with several people, ranging from politicians to businessmen, requesting his and Cub’s services for a hefty sum of money. He is in a shaky alliance with the Phantom Thieves, with his and Cub’s cooperation bought through a large amount of money.
His persona is The Pied Piper, the titular character of the german folktale and legend where a Piper in colourful clothing helps a town with a rat infestation by luring the rats away with his flute music. When the citizens refused to pay him for his efforts, he lured away their children, never to be seen again.
His Ultimate Persona is Mephisto, the antagonist of the german tale of Faust. Within the story, he offers Faust a deal; he’ll aid Faust in his pursuit of both knowledge and happiness, but if he ever feels complete and fulfilled, his soul is his to own. This created the adjective “Faustian” meaning someone who risks spiritual values for something in return.
Cub - “Warden” - The Death Arcana - Zeta Reticulan/Sisyphus
Cub is Scar’s business partner, and fellow hitman. Much like Scar, his laidback and chill demeanour hides a cunning sharp as a knife. He handles most of the business and financial matters in his assassination business. Many of his clients often assume he is more put together or “sane” compared to Scar, but he simply appears more laidback and is possibly even more unstable compared to Scar. The alliance between the two hitmen and the Phantom Thieves is intensely unstable, with both parties having contingency plans in case of a betrayal.
Zeta Reticulan is another word for Martian or alien. They are stereotypically inquisitive, and one of the most popular tropes in media is where an alien steals a person or livestock to experiment with. They appear all over the world with several people giving testimonies to seeing them. They are typically seen as on par or exceeding human intelligence.
His Ultimate Persona is Sisyphus, a king who trapped and evaded death itself. By locking Thanatos, the personification and god of death in a trunk, he was able to continue living beyond what was originally planned. As punishment however, he was forced to push a giant boulder up a mountain in death, unable to move on.

Summary: In which Thor’s primary problem-solving method (a mighty blow from Mjolnir) fails to have the desired effect on a magical artifact, and his secondary method (a mightier blow from Mjolnir) proves to be actively disastrous.

lame seasonal moment aboard the UNSC's biggest boat
Two for the price of one! Sorry this took a minute, but I'm trying so hard to write again.
-
Miller wakes with a start when a cacophony of noises roars from the speaker directly next to his bunk. Tinny sounds of water bubbling and chains rattling jostle him from what little unconscious peace he had found.
"I was working in the lab late one night-"
"Roland!" He groans, defeated and curling up into a smaller target with his pillow over his head. As if that would dissuade his tormentor.
"Happy Halloween, Spartan Miller!" Roland chimes from over the Monster Mash continuing to blast.
"It's 0400!"
"Not on Earth!"
"Roland!"

The leaves in the Atrium Park are shades of fire as the skylight projects a pale autumn sky. Fall, synthesized or not, is here and Lasky can feel it in his bones.
Not the same as being planet-side and seeing a terraformed Martian autumn paint the landscape of Mare Erythaeum, but the complex systems maintaining the flora of the park did a damn good job mimicking morning dew and crisp fall air.
He breathes deep and exhales, watching the leaves rustle and dance before turning to his running partner.
Sarah's scowl is softer than usual, in part to the tiny gourd he knows is now sitting on her desk, and partly because Luna didn't have seasons. Cmdr. Palmer would never admit it, but Tom knew Sarah enjoyed the traditions that came with the seasons, even if he'd never call her festive.
"It's colder than usual." She observes in the face of changing leaves and Tom's own jacket on top of his PT gear.
"It's fall." He says back, nodding to the trees.
"Better than Requiem's heat."
"I heard that Mjolnir has pretty good climate control, if you wear a helmet." Tom grins as he says it and starts running.
He hears her snort and then heavy footsteps rapidly approaching. It's early and the path is wet with dew and dead leaves. It's his one saving grace as he slows and dives down a side path.
He hears her swear and skid as her momentum carries her past.
Leaves crunch underfoot as he jogs past piles of leaves and startled gardeners. He smiles and nods to them as they look at him in shock as Sarah closes in. He wonders distantly if the Mess Staff has broken out the cider yet.

Did You Know that Master Chief's armor from Halo: CE's MacWorld 1999 trailer was canonized as ORION armor? Never leaving the prototype stage, this armor was tested by ORION operatives and would later inform the design of MJOLNIR and SPI.
