This looks like some kind of Lisa Frank daydream….I like to paint my quilt backs, mostly just to please and amuse myself. I prefer to do them outside, as they are large and it gets messy, but the incessant rain here prompted me to improvise indoors. I massaged my various paint colors in, then stepped back and was smacked in the face by my 80’s palette.
