So I read Trimax...and rewatched Stampede after...
I cried so hard and for so long and so frequently that the next day my eyes and head still hurt. I think about it and just want to curl up and cry over it again. Tis peak 10/10, I am resisting the urge to read it all again. I will rewatch Tristamp and 98 another 10 more times.

#ok i am in a peaceful headspace because i entered this meeting in a zen state of mind and told myself that nothing could disturb my peace#but i must just relate what happened#me: it's such great news that higher-up leadership has greenlit this multi-year plan!#since they want to see the first stage implemented this next academic year i plan to get started on faculty recruitment & course developmen#redacted: [vague faraway expression] i had a great idea which is [long rambling description of a totally new program#that is totally disconnected with anything we've ever done before and would cost a gazillion dollars to implement]#me: that's... great. however i wonder if leadership will expect us to implement the plan they just approved#which we spent months developing and iterating with them#so let's keep thinking about that but i suggest we move forward with the things in the plan#R: now I haven't read the plan yet [VERBATIM QUOTE LMAO]#but i think the main problem with it is that you're always coming up with these new ideas. and then you never explain#how we're going to implement them or how much it'll cost or what it will take to make these things happen#me [breathing in for four - hold - out for four]: perhaps we can look at pages 14-17 together#where i have put together a detailed implementation plan with a timeline + estimated costs + commitments from partners#who will need to be involved#R: [staring at me with a look of poorly concealed dislike] ok..why don't you go work on revising this draft so we have an actual plan#me: this is the final plan. this is the plan that has been vetted and revised with your boss's feedback & officially greenlit by your boss#R: the real issue here is that you have all these new ideas... let me tell you about the amazing work i did on this back in 2011.#why don't you go back and look at that report and see if you can just use that to develop your plan#me: that report - which is two pages long and 14 years out of date - is already incorporated in this finalized plan.#i don't know how many ways i can say this. i can't revise the plan anymore because we are done revising it. it has been formally approved.#they are asking us to implement the first stage of it this fall#i have to move forward or we can't implement it this fall#because we won't have done any work. because we were revising a plan that is already finalized#LIKE WHAT IS HAPPENING#WHAT IS EVER HAPPENING

Bossuet: Should we head to the Musain?
Joly: Oh, we can walk there, it's good exercise.
Grantaire: It's a 40 minutes walk, if we take the subway it'll only take 10 minutes.
Joly: We can cut through the park. Exposure to nature has showed to have a beneficial impact on mental health.
Grantaire: ...
Bossuet: People keep coughing on him in public transport.
Grantaire: That tracks.

Any spare change? ToT
I've mentioned this already but I recently got an infected tooth I need to go to a specialist about it! I have some money saved up but it will cost about an estimated $1k-$3K (since I don't have insurance OTL) and since I have school coming up, I can't really work during that time...
So I'm linking my kofi for anyone who'd like to help? I only need a portion of the cost so that I don't go in the red OwO' Any help would be super appreciated!
And please only help if you can spare it; I wouldn't want to financially burden anyone with this! Also, anyone donating 4 or more kofis get a little thank you doodle request; just leave the prompt in a comment!

All right I gotta get this out, this is like… 'won the lottery' dreaming kind of commission here but come on this journey with me.
Landscape, sort of spiritual Sistine Chapel-tier religious weighted imagery. The kind of painting you'd see taking up a wall in Vernworth Castle.
From side-to-side the image is broken up like ) ) ) ) by clouds with each slice representing Olivia and Emrys's different cycles (a bit inspired by the imagery in the pause menu)
On the far right we have Dragon-Sovran Emrys, massive gorgeous black-red dragon kind of Grigori-ish but with his own unique features (I won't be getting into specific details here). This 'slice/cycle' (Cycle 4) is the 'biggest' to accommodate him, and in the background features imagery of Sovran Olivia and Emrys as rulers of the new cycle.
Then going to the left "backwards" is imagery from each of their cycles. (I imagine these sort of Dragon Age tarot-like but generally low on details)
Cycle 3: Images of Olivia and Emrys's journey, triumph, and then their son tragically dying at the hands of a new Dragon
Cycle 2: Images of Arisen Emrys and Pawn Olivia's journey with Emrys becoming Seneschal and meeting the Pathfinder, there are all sorts of cracks and distortions across this slice marking it as 'other'.
Cycle 1: Images of Olivia and Emrys's journey ending with Plaguedrake!Emrys cradling Olivia's body to his bleeding chest.
Cycle 0: The second biggest 'slice', young pawn Emrys is central with vague images of his first Arisen and their lover in the background as well as younger Emrys - the three facing Plaguedrake!Emrys. The big central image of Emrys faces the direction of Dragon-Sovran Emrys at the other end, who is reaching his arm across all of the cycles to pierce young Em's chest with the tip of his claw, the dark energy of the dragons plague radiating from where he touches, which you can see rippling out through all the other cycles.
The end. 😌

Honestly I feel like Kenny winning first is very on par with the show’s humor, that the kid who always covers his face is the one all the girls think is the cutest.
You say that...

Ivanova: Did you do something you weren’t supposed to do?
Sheridan: …
Ivanova: Forget I asked. Did you do something you really shouldn’t have done?
Sheridan: …
Ivanova: Look, just tell me how many “really”s go before the “shouldn’t have done” part.
Sheridan: Uh, minimum is 36.

All sampled strains of M. tuberculosis shared a common ancestor less than six thousand years ago, and more likely less than four thousand years ago. These estimates are bolstered by a growing body of archaeological DNA evidence, which allows these chronological measurements to be calibrated.
