Right then, an intro.

I'm not the best at this... Posting thing. It's important I'm sure, especially when I don't have the credibility I need yet but I can't promise it'll be done often. I have things to do, people to save, a little bit of chaos to stir up.

I'm a vigilante based out of Tokyo mostly but I'm also rather nomadic.

No I don't want to tell you about my 'tragic backstory' I'm not interested in sharing that information publicly. Honestly there's no longer anyone in my life left that I would share that information with and I'd rather keep it out of the public eye. Suffice it to say though, the HPSC has a lot of skeletons in their closet.

What else...

Uhh... Pronouns are He/They, don't really care as much though, I'm just not a girl. Respect me on here and I'll respect you but the opposite it also quite true.

OOC Talk!!

Hi! I'm Dragon, the owner of this Ask Blog! My pronouns are he/they/xe! I'm also 19, to make everyone aware of that. Not opposed to speaking in character but I'll establish boundaries when it comes to it.

One such boundary, please don't interact with RJ in an NSFW way, getting established in a group and while I'm an adult, several members aren't and I don't want them to even have a chance to run into that stuff.

This isn't technically my first blog as one of my characters but it is my first one in the MHA fandom. Also my first one in a while really.

I don't have many rules so far, though that's likely to change in the future.

I'd love to DM/interact in character! RJ has his own lore that I'm going to drip feed into his blog but if you're curious please OOC DM me on my fandom blog @trans-dragon01 or even my main blog @frostytundra01

The blog is open interaction so feel free to send an ask or reblog in character! I do have ideas for how he fits into the canon so I might be more picky on interactions with certain canon characters like Hawks, Dabi, or any of the Todoroki family but that doesn't mean you shouldn't interact, I'd just like to talk more about his lore first. I'd love to fit you in as his version of them! Roleplay is a collaborative art and I really want to collab! Also I think he needs to be bullied maybe.

Bit of fodder in that front, yes his costume is based off Jason Todd but that's a fully in character decision. He's a little nerd who loves Pre-quirk comics and he deserves to be bullied for being a fanboy.

Anyways! I'm probably just going to post random thoughts on here, probably only OOC tagging the important posts. Hope everyone likes him!

The Lyric Game Redux Redux Answers and another attempt at polls!

So before I go into the Answers to this game I'm going to address the second part of the title. Yesterday around lunchtime I posted a cleaned-up version of the round with all the clues consolidated for easier study, but notably ALSO with a couple of polls. Now, me, I'm a compulsive must-click-buttoner, so I was kind of surprised that by the time the polls closed 24 hours later, no one had voted in them. (Except for the one I hit by accident). I don't know if this is because no one is actually ON Tumblr on Sunday afternoons through Monday morning, or if I'm just invisible by accident or on mute on purpose, but either way, the results of a survey nobody takes can hardly help me out any. So let's try again, and this time if you see this VOTE even if you don't care! Just so I know you saw this!

*and then I explained here that someone counting in "1, 2, 3, 4!" would NOT (ironically) count as the First Line for game purposes, but someone dramatically preaching, "Dearly beloved, we have gathered here today to get through this thing called Life" WOULD.

AND I can't put two polls in one post, so I'll redo the other at the BOTTOM (reblog) of this, and put the answers in the middle.

The Top Scorer with 8 points (four correct titles and four correct artists) is my old college roommate, Tracie, who is not on Tumblr, but gave her answers in the comments of the Facebook post where I linked to this! And lest you think she had an unfair advantage from living with me for two years, I must point out that a surprising number of songs on the list were not yet in my collection in college!

And anyway @dannypageoflight lived with me for a decade and change and @sunnymarbles over 16 years and neither of THEM even bothered to guess. :P

But in second place with 4 points (2 song-and-artist combos) is Sophie who also commented on Facebook, although she did used to be on Tumblr... @fbi-angel-in-a-trenchcoat oh dude I can still tag her! Heeeeyyyyy!

My names Ronald-Jack, but I’ve got an excessive amount of nicknames. RJ, Ronnie, Ron, The Ronnsters, Jack. It’s honestly endless, so call me whatever sounds best to you.

I’m a queer trans man (he/him) based in the United Kingdom, and I’ll actually be turning 19 next month; who would’ve thunk it, me and my monstrous ego age along side everyone else. Apologies and sorrows to myself.

I’ve always enjoyed any creative hobby. Reading, writing, acting, singing, dancing, drawing and cosplay; I’ve done it all more than once- although due to issues with my hips and uneven legs I am a shit dancer. I’ll probably end up with a cane sooner rather than later, combine this with my social anxiety and I’m the perfect specimen.

Fandom wise I’m into the marauders, the hunger games and musical theatre. Please do not tell me to look up or I’ll bawl.

my thoughts on the WoT characters after book 5

before I start posting Lord of Chaos thoughts, I wanted to sum up what I think of the characters after The Fires of Heaven (and New Spring) so I can look back on it later. I’m sure I’m missing some, just listing everyone I have thoughts on.

Alanna: I have my eye on her after those sus forced bonding comments… time will tell but I don’t trust her at all. I like her though, she’s fun.

Asmodean: he was funny as hell, what a pathetic guy, and had objectively the most hilarious death in the series so far.

Aviendha: this is probably the character I have the least complicated feelings about. I just like her. she’s funny, she’s badass, her relationship with Rand is great.

Birgitte: a hot bicon. every word that comes out of her mouth is gold. she’s such a bro.

Egeanin: standout side character to me I love her so much. yes girl unlearn your cultural biases! and be unhinged and horny on main!! she better come back!!

Egwene: girl I want to like you but you're making it so hard 😭 as a character she's great. as a person I'm struggling with her dumbassery and her superiority complex and the way she's treating Nynaeve.

Elaida: she’s cringe and bad at her job but I kind of stan. she’s doing her best and it is absolutely not good enough and she’s being puppeted by the Black Ajah and only succeeded at deposing Siuan because a bunch of teenage boys stabbed people for her. I can’t even be angry at her tbh.

Elayne: book 5 was so great for Elayne. she's maturing a lot and she really shot up the list for me. her interpersonal relationships are so funny and I love how excited she is about making ter'angreal.

Faile: maybe absence makes the heart grow fonder but I miss her and want her back. she was so silly but also loved Perrin so much and I’m such a hopeless romantic that I loved the sappy parts.

Gareth Bryne: this man is a CREEP!! Siuan get AWAY from him! ugh ugh ugh. and I know it’s only going to get worse.

Galad: unfortunately this man is one of my favorite character archetypes. I didn’t vibe with him at first but now I really do.

Gawyn: I want to put him in a paper shredder. I am so angry at this man even after a full book to cool down post-coup. please let me deck him. I do think my feelings will change but right now I’m still angry as shit.

Graendal: problematic queen. do I think RJ will do anything interesting with her, probably not, but am I intrigued, yes.

Lan: THIS MAN BREAKS MY HEART DAILY. ohhhhh my god. not normal about him.

Lanfear: hmmm complicated feelings about book Lanfear. I found her introduction painful and annoying - it’s way too obvious - but she improved and I do love how crazy she is. it didn’t really sink in for me until her conversation with Rand in Tear that she’s delusional and obsessed with LTT to the point of being completely out of touch with reality, and therefore v scary. TLDR I love her now. RIP gone too soon.

Leane: I have no idea what’s cooking with her, I just have to RAFO. I’m either going to think she’s an icon or get angry at RJ for being sexist and I don’t know which.

Liandrin: the balls on this woman are actually insane, trying to Compel Moggy. she’s way too cartoonishly evil to be really interesting though. but she makes so many sexually charged dog references which I love tbh.

Logain: he’s fine I guess. hard to tell where his story is heading and he kind of hasn’t done anything.

Loial: he has never done anything wrong in his entire life, he's perfect and I love him.

Mat: I've come around and I like him now. his memory stuff is really interesting and so is the way he interacts with fate/the Pattern.

Melaine: best Wise One I love her so much.

Min: she’s never clicked with me as a character and I think her motivation is kind of dumb and repetitive. I also really dislike how salty and disrespectful she is towards Siuan but that has to do with my personal issues about the Siuan plotline so I can’t totally blame her for that.

Moghedien: I NEED to put her in a petri dish and poke her with a stick. girl you are not subtle about your petplay kink. somehow she’s scary and pathetic at the same time and I just love her a lot.

Moiraine: I can’t even put it into words. she’s my everything.

Morgase: I feel so fucking bad for her, her POVs were horrific, what a survivor. I'm excited for when she gets a bigger plotline.

Nynaeve: my favorite character who’s on page at present. first of all she has a Forsaken collared. second of all she’s so angry and I love angry women. also she has no self awareness which makes her POVs very amusing, but also sometimes devastating — I love her struggling with fear and her perceived cowardice in TFOH.

Perrin: I constantly forget he exists. not in a bad way but not really in a good way either - he’s just bland to me.

Rand: he is my idiot baby boy. go insane faster please it’s interesting.

Rahvin: good riddance you creepy fuck. not even awful in a compelling way to me, just awful. good as a character, well-written, but AAAA.

Siuan: her arc after being stilled is distressing to me and I don’t like reading it - her loss of power and influence, the way the other Aes Sedai all treat her, the sexual harassment… so I have a hard time separating that out from Siuan herself. I’m… torn. I love some of her scenes and some feel very out of left field. we’ll RAFO again.

Suroth: GIVE ME MORE. her POV was fascinating and she’s so awful.

Thom: against my best wishes, I actually like him now. he’s so dad coded and protective of Nynaeve and Elayne, and a badass, and has a good sense of humor.

Verin: what an icon!! favorite Aes Sedai bar none now that Moiraine is gone.

I'm in the next print issue of The Comics Journal, issue 310, reviewing the work of Noah Van Sciver. I have received a contributor's copy and the whole issue is great: There's an Allee Errico 8-pager about music, NSFW Jess Johnson sketchbooks, a conversation between Lale Westvind and Aidan Koch moderated by Austin English, a Juliette Collet interview conducted by RJ Casey, a very well-researched look into the Bill Jemas era of Marvel by Zach Rabiroff, and a Gerald Scarfe biography and introduction I am starting to read now. All this and more makes it a worthy $24.95 to spend, but that price point makes getting a subscription even more worthwhile - It's $48 for 4 issues, a price point seemingly determined before the price went up to $24.95 for this particularly issue. I cannot guarantee I will be in the future issues. as no one has asked me to do anything, but the quality of this issue points to strong issues to come. Issue 309 just won an Eisner, congratulations to all involved, and issue 310 is even better. I will probably make another post when it is actually out on sale, but once that happens I don't think a subscription will start with that issue, so now is the time to subscribe.

Hi! You can call me RJ, Bismuth or Umbra. Or any other silly nickname that I may come to draw. I'm not quite sure how introductions work in this community, but I'm a musician who happens to like the funny dragon PNGs in his spare time. And, of course, I happen to find beauty in both the simple and complex.

How it came to be:

Grace had done some research on animals that were native to her homeland, England, and would be something different as a character. During the first meeting, she drew a rough version of a Lynx and a Fox, unsure of which one probably suited her more. After the professional design team took over, they created two versions for Grace to pick from before ultimately picking a Lynx as they were extinct in England. 

Background Information:

Being a Lynx meant you were the smallest wild cat around but still powerful. However, they were being hunted and are soon becoming extinct in their habitats. Tata appeared and told Lux about a world where Lynxes wouldn’t be hunted and about his little band of friends, with Lynx agreeing to join them. 

Notes:

Lux’s introduction video was voted one of the saddest yet one of the most powerful as it highlighted what was happening in the world. 

There were many clips posted of Chimmy and Shooky playing with Lux’s tail only to be chased.

Grace has much of the merch of Lux and you’ll often find the cuddly toy in the background of a V-Live. Like Seokin who carries RJ around, Grace does the same for Lux

Pt1

Names Rj or Masky, which ever you prefer to call me is fine. I'm kinda new to tumblr a bit but also not. I've been on here before under a name "Masky Myers" or something like that but deleted it bc I'm not very into social media. So here I am back again with a new hyperfocus, last time was portal and half life, now its somehow fnaf.

My hobbies;

-Digital art, I've been doing this for about 3-5 years or so now, my signature is usually "RJ-mask" but some times I add a Y to mask just for fun. I love the way I write Y's. I was born an artist, picked it up from my mother who now makes things outta yarn or wood burning.

-Car enthusiast, also all my life I've been obsessed with cars, I have a lotta "backyard mechanics" in my family and grew up with all types of cars. I just got my very own car last year, it's not the best car but I love it. No joke I will spend hours cleaning and generally taking care of it. It's a 1999-2004 Chrysler sebring convertible. It's a bueatiful looking car, expessialy after a sunny rain. My dream car is a Nissan skyline, I plan on it being painted green and black.

-Fanfiction writer, I dont write very often, but I've posted a story public before, honestly I've improved so much since then so now that story looks like garbage. It's on wattpad called "regret game" a slenderves based story. (If it's still there) I'm surprised it got as much attention as it did, it's got a great plot but my writing skills were not the best back then. I'm currently working on a fnaf based story, its actually my own version of fnaf about my oc who I'll eventually introduce. (Your welcome to give me small scenarios to write about if I'm in whatever fandom your intrested in, sfw only please, fluff is fine)

-role-play, I also dont do this much anymore but the memories are so much fun. I've created my own rp servers on discord between me and friends, amazing plots and stuff but not enough attention was put into it so it even got quite.

-collector, I've always had interest in collecting old electronics that are broken and or hotwheels, remote cars, stuffed animals, video game merchandise, movies, jacket/shirt flannels, and monster energy cans. I'm actually currently in the process of taking apart a old laptop I broke the screen to, I'm not sure why but I enjoy it.
