PSA: that's probably an actual contortionist doing the crab walk, with David Tennant's face (very obviously) CGI'd over top. People can in fact actually move like that, and more. A lot of "impossibly moving" horror monsters are in fact played by real people who are actually moving that way. It's an actual profession and something you have to train for years to do.

it really is astounding something how little people notice things in stories though.

the "scary scary 'villains'" were not convincingly scary nor were they convincingly villanous. How do we get ep 1, with the moral of "don't assume people are good or bad based on whether you think they're cute or scary" and then immediately jump to "but actually these people who've so far done nothing wrong are actually evil and Full of Hatred™ (where???) because uhmmhm *checks notes* their arms are long. and their bodies are stretchy. so this means they're evil and threatening and bad and hateful somehow.

I think the sound creature in Sherzo is adorable and deserves the world.

you're gonna have to actually make the "villains" do bad things if you want me to see them as villains. Not just make them "scary looking" when all they'd done up to that point was listen politely and make friendly conversation lol.

what happened to "don't assume nonhumans are hostile"? and no the "well the TARDIS left because she sensed danger" doesn't work either, they could just be victims of the danger.

also, they never noticed that their life signs weren't showing up on the scanner at all either.
