I made a poll on Instagram to ask about my next design and manta ray earrings won! So here you have them!
Manta rays always make me think about the vastness of the ocean. These are made in brass and shaped with the technique of fold forming. The ear wires are made in sterling silver.

It's not an extra space. It's just the font being like that.#Translation Notes: During the lines Luke is getting closer to Yuri he's using a sort of “come ooon” tone#He's in clingy toddler Luke mode lol. If you're familiar with Luke's JP voice think of his whiny/clingy voice here.#The “Ix is here right? We have Ix here” part is an intentionally deadpan statement#along the lines of “we literally have Ix here though”. The use of “right” is rhetorical as he's not actually asking “is Ix here”.#I wasn't sure which one I wanted to go with because there's an intentional tone to the original#and it feels more annoyed-Yuri-esque to me in this situation to have that “uh hello? Ix is here” feel to his statement.#I'm not sure how to explain this better LOL but yeah that's the idea behind that line.#As for the title I went with dependable over reliable in this instance since Luke is very dependent on Yuri for a lot#and Yuri has thus been dependable for him whereas if say Yuri was watching his back in battle I'd use reliable.#The words can both be used for the JP term 頼 followed by れる#but since in English more than one term can be used I went with the one that fit in more with the topic of the skit and the characters.

#i bought this edition of the dvd bc it has john hughes's commentary on it & i wanted to listen... i also just like having physical media ig#idk i turned 30 this year and now i act like i'm 65 years old#also. interesting that the back blurb says ferris is 17 y/o (he's 18 in the script which is also how i hc him in the movie)#this is the same blurb on the vhs back cover too (just happened to b googling the vhs cover/back cover art & noticed that)#i wish the front cover of this dvd was more interesting but idk at least it's not the version w the sunglasses weirdly edited on it#honestly all the fbdo dvd covers are kind of meh. mostly i think i'm just not partial to pics of ppl facing directly at the camera (?????)#there's like a collector's edition blu-ray that uses a photo that i like better but like i'm not getting that i hate blu-ray#(<????? completely baseless statement lmfao mostly i just don't have a blu-ray reader and i don't care about getting one)#anyway i guess have opinions about this stuff now. for some reason. idk why i'm a ferris bueller collector all of a sudden.#fbdo#ferris bueller's day off#ferris bueller#cameron frye#sloane peterson#just realized there's no rooney on this version of the dvd. thank god#*the dvd art i mean#scans
