Nina's entries: Ever since running into Vinny, I haven't been able to get him out of my head. We talked a bit that night, but the guilt was too heavy to pretend everything was fine. I didn’t know what to say or how to even begin... but he was as kind and friendly as always. I couldn’t help thinking that everything would be so much easier if he just hated me. Now that I know we’re in the same city again, all the memories of what we lived together before I left come flooding back. Part of me wishes I could erase the past—but would that mean I’d have to forget him, too? I'm not sure Vinny deserves that...

My digital gift isn't ready!!! What do I do????

It's okay! Tomorrow is the START of posting, but you're not late! The last day to post is January 31st. After that, if we haven't heard from you, we start breaking out the laser beams.

I haven't gotten a gift 😭

Tomorrow is only the start of posting. You will get a gift - Minion Keeper's spreadsheet knows all. Remember to check our blog for your username - your gift will be tagged with the same username as in the "minion you're making a gift for blorbo" email. If by January 31st we haven't heard from your giftee, we break out the lasers and failing that will ensure that a pinch hitter is found. It might be a little late, but EVERYONE gets a gift. Every year. No husk is left behind.

...I don't actually like my gift? What do I do?

We expect everyone to be respectful of the time and energy it took to create a gift. If you have specific concerns please reach out to us privately via email, but we expect that everyone here to be kind. Unlike certain pesky N7s who shall not be named.

Something has happened and I'm going to be late posting or have to back out

Life happens. Things happen. Shepard happens (unfortunately). All we ask is that you email us ASAP and communicate what's going so we can have a plan and make sure that your giftee is taken care of.

When can I start to panic about not getting a gift or my giftee not getting their mail?

You don't need to panic - unless you see an M35 Mako around. Then we recommend running. Fast. But seriously, don't start to worry until after January 31st. And even then, everyone will get a gift. No one has been or will be forgotten. We've got a pretty good track record of this. We'll post updates as the exchange winds down that will include information about how many gifts are complete, what's still in transit, if there's pinch-hits or known delays, and tagging anyone we need to get a hold of. You can go back through the "harby speaks" tag to find examples. Minion Keeper's backpack of power and spreadsheet will sustain us for another year.

Okay. Well. I'm still drunk and ready to mentally share my headcanons regarding RT and Heinrix relationship (And got pretty inspired by other people's HC, just thank you all, hugs and kisses).

1. The reason for all the cringe flirting is that Tessera is very, VERY afraid of Heinrix because he's from the Inquisition, he's a master of torture. In the backstory, agents of the Inquisition tortured her. (Darkest Hour - Shadow of Torment)

2. One day, Heinrix will accidentally trigger a panic attack. Something like: "Hey, Tess, stop being unreasonable, otherwise I'll have to resort to punishment." And the rosette that is always dangling in front of her eyes. She will run off to a dark corner. She will cry and scream for everyone to leave her alone. And then Tessera will pretend that nothing happened, which will upset Heinrix (he actually wanted to help her, maybe console her. Okay, I just liked the idea of Heinrix consoling RT)

3. Until Tessera finally tells her in Commorragh why she's afraid of him and the Inquisition. But after all the horrors of Commorragh (and all the hallucinations she'll have throughout her vacation) she's no longer

(but no sex in this dump, ugh. And anyway, they sewed someone else's leg on to her and this leg is rotting. Not a suitable situation at all)

4. After Commorragh, she becomes more dogmatic. And when Heinrix says that he is leaving the Inquisition. She will be terrified. Because she understands that she is wrong and following the dogmas of the Empire is much safer.

5. In the end, she cooperates with Calcazar. And when Ulfar kills him, she ponders what problems the death of her powerful ally can lead to. (Heinrix, dear, do you want to return to the Inquisition, they say there is a vacancy for the Lord Inquisitor. No? We need a new plan.)

6. The number of times Haynes was able to win against Tessera in regicide (from start to finish of the game) is less than 10 times.
