Ruby’s New Backstory ramble

Alright rewatching Wizards and I have a few ideas on Ruby’s backstory. It’s similar to the changeling backstory but I changed a few things. Tw: suicide

Ruby the Ruthless: Her Gumm-Gumm years

Before she became a changeling, she was raised as a Gumm-Gumm. She may be small, but she was a killer. She fought along side Orlark and the other Gumm-Gumms. While she didn’t care for Orkark personally, she was loyal. At least for now. 

Ruby meets Dictatious

One night as teenage Ruby stroll around in an area of the forest she doesn’t usually wonder, she heard someone crying. When she investigated, it was a teenage troll. Dictatious. She was thinking of attacking, but she got a better idea. Maybe she will learn more about this troll’s village and report back to the Gumm-Gumm tribe? So instead of killing the troll, she decide to comfort him. Dictatious was hesitant at the strange troll at first, but soon they hit it off and decide to meet the next night

Ruby gets pregnant 

After Ruby discovers she’s pregnant, she decides to tell Dictatious the truth about being pregnant and being a Gumm-Gumm. Dictatious talks her into running away in risk she would get killed. She ran away that night, leaving everything behind. 

Battle of Killahead

Centuries and three more babies later, Dictatious leaves to battle at Killahead Bridge with his brother. Only Bliny came back. She grieved the death of Dictatious to the point she asked Blinky to watch over Sasva, Milomior, Hugoues, and Joshvia as she goes “hunting.” She committed suicide by jumping off a cliff and into the ocean. 

Mother of Monsters

A day later, Ruby’s body was found by the Arcade Order. Nari brought Ruby to life along with other dead trolls. Ruby doesn’t remember what happens next, but she heard a voice telling her she now serves Morgana, the Mother of Monsters, and she can now change into a human whenever she needs too. She is no longer a Troll, she is now a Changeling. 

When Ruby woke up, she was back in the forest. She still hears Morgana telling her how to use her new power, what her human name is (Natasha) and her mission: to spy on the Trollhunter and report to the “Janus Order” or else her loved ones will suffer. 

Life as a Changeling

Her new life never really change expect for those times she would sneak out of Dozwa and report to the Janus Order. She learned a lot about human culture and the Janus Order’s mission. When it was time for Dozwa to move, Ruby followed them with her family. She even helped set up the new Janus Order what is now Arcadia. 

After her kids grew up and moved away, she got orders to travel to different places around the world for spy work. Because of this, she lost touch of her children and her troll life. 

Blinky, Aaaarrrgghh, and her kids never knew about Ruby being a changeling until Kanjigar told Blinky and Aaarrrrgghh about being a changeling (I need to figure out how he discovered that). Blinky and Aaarrrrgghh disowned her until Jim became the Trollhunter
