Oh the almighty Jeonghan. Sent from above specifically to torture you. The popular guy who has six ladies lined up on each finger hoping to get their turn. Funny, easy on the eye but that personality? Ugh, you've seen better.

You made your interest in him more than clear, still.. to this day no definite answer. Only insufferable amount of teasing. You weren't one to play the game of push n' pull. It was getting on your nerves. Especially the constant flirting with anything that moved - just for sport. Or maybe not for sport per sé but to get you jealous. Making sure you saw him making move on somebody. There was even a moment when he jokingly almost kissed you only to pull away at the last moment, smug as hell. So full of himself.

Fuck it. Does he think he is the only one who has options? Isn't the last man on Earth for sure. The hell. Time to give him a taste of his own medicine.

When a friend of yours, equally as drunk, suggested to climb on the bar, you thought it an excellent idea. Both of you moving to the rhythm of some latino song with questionable, extremely toxic lyrics. Drink in hand, Great Gatsby style, you cheered the growing attendance at your feet. People going feral.

"I think you've had enough fun for today," Jeonghan's cold hand grasping your ankle "time to go home."

"Who are you to tell me if I had enough?" seemingly asking the audience a rhetorical question, crushing his fingers with your heel

"Your boyfriend~" squirming in pain

"My boyfriend?? Stop pissing me off Jeonghan. I had enough of your shit. It's not difficult to find somebody better than yo-"

All the drinks from before picked the worst moment to take effect. Dizzy head, weak legs, heels plus slippery bar? Unfortunate combination. You were indeed about to hit the floor.

"Yah!" jumping to your feet "Don't touch me you perver-!!!" intoxication not letting you fishing your sentence, making you wobble, once again ending up in Jeonghan's arms

"Forgive me?" Big brown eyes praying for redemption

Not sure if it was the residual alcohol but this time his words felt sincere. Seeing him sucking on your thumb like that, all docile and at your mercy..? Ufff, you were running too hot

"Want me to forgive you, huh, " making him sink to his knees under your authoritarian tone.

Jeonghan's pov

Yes- he loved to tease you even after you confessed your feelings. He played games to make sure you were really up for the challenge. Testing your character and morals. Enjoyed torturing you a bit too much. However when it came to his feelings.. Jeonghan thought himself to be the only one worthy of your affections. He intended to show his interest soon enough, just wanted to frolic for a moment longer. Tragically that was exactly where he miscalculated.

And there you were, in all your glory, dancing with bunch of worthless peasants.

Jeonghan could literally feel the blood in his veins boiling. How dare they put their filthy, sweaty little hands on your holy vessel? Were they really so dense to think someone like YOU would be interested in them?

"Pathetic losers." Furiously gulping down his drink only to smash the glass on the floor. Making any bystander jump away in fear.

Tangible darkness emitting from Jeonghan's pitch black stare in direction of the unfortunate dude you were dancing with. Poor guy shivering, cold sweat running down his spine. He got the message and promptly took his leave.

"That's what I thought" Jeonghan scoffed, raking thru his hair

After not so subtly, striking terror into all the suitors, new drink in hand and in high spirits, he was watching your bar show. How your hair sparkled in the light, how you moved to the seductive latino rhythm - not a care in the world. He watched you cheer the crowd, queen in the castle.

"It's about time I made my move." few long steps, grasp on your ankle

"I think you've had enough fun for today," lifting his gaze, half entertained half worried you might come crashing down "time to go home."

You weren't interested in keeping relationships. At this point, you couldn't count the amount of people you'd been with. Even your public list of relationships was endless. It wasn't exactly something hidden to the public; you talked about it in interviews often. Asking if you'd found anyone worthy of commitment. There's been a few close calls, but you were always scared to tie down. What if you got hurt in the process? So you always ended things to keep yourself safe. Not letting yourself get too close to anyone.

Then there was Chappell. A girl who was determined she could change you. You were scared of commitment? Well, she'd kill that fear. Send it up in flames. Anything she had to do to call you hers. You'd spent a few nights with her. But you could tell she was growing restless with this 'friends with benefits' relationship you guys had going on.

And when she finally stopped you to talk about it, you weren't entirely surprised. Of course she would want to talk to you. You could tell this meant more to her than just hookups. It was a certain look in the eyes they all had. "What can I say to make you stay?" She asked, you felt your breath hitch. Stay? Staying wasn't your style. It never was.

"I was born with a broke heart, baby. I know you think you can fix-" She wouldn't even let you finish your sentence, already kissing you. Your eyes widened but your lips moved against hers. It's nearly been two weeks now since Chappell last saw you in person. She'd been stalking your social medias more than she would ever admit. She was even doing it this very moment. Even though she should have been focused on this artists event. Part of her hoped... maybe you would be here. However it was rare for you to go to things like these. i wish that the songs were longer <//3 this two minute song epidemic is actually killing me and i need it to be over already. pink pantheress you will pay for what you've done to the music industry /j SLASH JJJJ (i love her please). i haven't looked at the lyric translations yet, and i don't even think they're out at the moment Imao, but i'm so excited to get my hands on them!!

one thing i'm still a bit confused about tho is like the overall concept of the album?? like all the concept pics and trailers were all so different and painted a more darker vibe and the album doesn't give that at all?? like i'm genuinely confused with the whole bdsm aspect😭 the only concept pics that makes sense for me for the album is the water ones, and that's only for bad desire…

idk... this may be a hot take, but i wish the album was a bit more cohesive with its overall concept, because it does NOTTT fit with the concept we were given, but i still love it a lot!! don't jump me guys omg 😭😭 some of the songs, like flashover and too close also didn't really fit like the overarching genre of the album either?? especially flashover it felt like that was kinda added just to add it same with loose (tho i know like it kinda had to be added since it was a single)... but i still liked the concept pics and trailers and everything that we were given so i’m not complaining!!

still, i'd give the whole album an 9/10!! it still hasn't dethroned any of my personal favorites, but i really love the songs and i'm so excited to listen to new music from enhypen!!! it’s truly still an amazing album and i will be listening to it on repeat!! ☝️ out of the whole album, i think outside, helium, and bad desire are my favorites hehe!! I forget the exact line, but Lloyd being all happy that Arin figured out spinjitzu only for Arin to coldly reply "Not because of you" or something like that was just OOMF it was so good

Nokt was cool, so was his sister who's name I'm forgetting. I remember it was similar to Nokt's but I can't remember it. I'm upset we never learned what Nokt's elemental power is though, that was upsetting.

A lot of the new elemental powers were... kinda weird ngl, but I guess there's only so much you can come up with so I'm not gonna complain too much

ALSO almost forgot to mention Zeatrix. I like the twist with her, I'm just annoyed that she looks EXACLTY like Beatrix, like come on. She literally had different hair in the flashback, they changed it just to throw us off and it annoys me

Geo is great, he's always a plus even if he didn't do much. I like that he went on a little date with Cole and they found Lily's mech, that was cute

Uhhhh I wish Zane did more. My guy literally did like... nothing at all. Hopefully he gets more stuff to do in season 3 because he has just had NOTHING so far

I have been powering through these chapters the last we days! I live in the south and we got snow so my work has been out for most of the week. Plus, I think my self imposed week of no writing really got the juices flowing again!

CRAB ANON YOU SEE THE VISION!! I find the like delaying aging and staying young forever by never being in the sun and going into cryo chambers and doing crazy stuff like that very creepy. The pursuit of youth at all costs is just... wild to me.

YES Quinn's plastic surgery IS a forensic counter measure!!! Omg I'm so glad you picked up on that!! It's also a vanity thing, am appeal to his ego to remove every imperfection he sees in himself, and a way to appeal to a wide variety of victims. It's all SO SLIMY!!

Ben was a spur of the moment choice that I'm really happy with!! We'll hear a bit more from him later on, but suffice it to say that his motive is definitely out of fear. He wants Quinn put away, but he's disillusioned at this point at the likelihood of it. He's seen him get away with a lot of heinous shit. And he knows what happens to people who get too close to catching Quinn, and he knows what Quinn does to people who betray him.

Yeah, Quinn's crazy pain tolerance and pain kink come to save him again. I got my info on tasers from a cursory google search, so it might not be accurate 100%, but it works for the content of this world. SOMEBODY shoot Quinn point blank I'm begging at this point.

Oh Colm!!! Listen, Colm is not 100% a good guy. He still deeply struggles with his addiction. But he loves his kid, and he loves Sweetheart. We're actually going to dig into his relationship with Milo in the next chapter!!!

Greg!!! I love him. I know we've heard from him one entire time but UGH I love him. He'll probably make an appearance a little later on. Fun fact, Ansel is an Internal Affairs agent and he heard Colm's call over the radio. He called Greg right away and Greg, who is the fire captain of the 7-30, decided to tag along personally with his ambulance crew to make sure everything was okay. Since all firefighters are required to be paramedics in California, he's perfectly qualified!

Here's the Four stuff you've been promised !!!

Just to preface, Four does not have DID or any similar conditions, just for the reason that I don't know enough about it to be able to potray it in a respectful and accurate way. If you do imagine Four with DID, that's valid, but they aren't here.

However, Four does categorise their thoughts into four categories-

Red: red represents emotional intelligence, compassion, and empathy

Blue: blue represents passion, protectiveness, and fury

Green: green represents loyalty, courage, and leadership

Violet: vio represents intelligence, knowledge, and dedication

Four just finds it easier to deal with conflicting thoughts by giving them names to better identify how they're feeling.

Anyways

Four is 15 in this au, though mistaken for much younger. He used to date a mysterious guy who called himself Shadow, but he went missing without a proper goodbye. Four's determined to find the cause of it, and so has developed an unhealthy addiction to true crime podcasts and researching similar macabre things. However on a different note, they also love fairytales and researching old folk stories. They pull a lot of allnighters... and have suffered a few broken toes for it.

Speaking of, Four lives with his Grandfather in a forge. After their father died at war and mother died in childbirth, Four's very close with his Grandfather and often helps out in the forge. Don't be fooled by their height or age; this fella's got biceps for days and is a very proficient blacksmith. He helps his Grandfather make weaponry for the Royal Family.

Four's also best friends with Dot since childhood !!

They have chronic migraines and hate it. Like, to the point where at worst he will be knocked out for days at a time, only waking up to eat, drink, and use the bathroom. They like to hide in the basement when this happens, I know there's nothing in canon about a basement but creative liberties?? because it's quiet, dark, and he doesn't need to move much. Their Grandfather's gotten pretty good at playing nurse while also working. At best it doesn't come to that, and Four's just heavily fatigued for a day and hates being around people. Oh, and he's developed a strong tolerance for most painkillers, rendering them ineffective. Poor guy.

Four's good friends with Wild, Legend, Hyrule, and Ravio at school, despite them being a year older. He's also friends with Wind and acts as a scary older brother figure to ward off anyone who tries messing with him. Despite the fact that Wind is taller and very capable of standing up for himself.

Four's also incredibly smart and fairly athletic, so they're pretty popular with students and teachers alike. People joke about them being able to read minds, but in truth Four's just observant and quick to make connections. He's won the school many prizes for maths and science. Buut Four's attendance isn't the greatest thing ever, and at least where I'm from teachers are kinda assholes about that. At least his grades and general attitude make up for it.

Four and Ravio have gotten into a physical fight over Monopoly before.

OMG I JUST FINISHED TMDG AND IT'S SO SO SO GOOD!!!!!!!!! WAS GONNA COMMENT BUT I HAVE TOO MANY THOUGHTS, SO HERE WE ARE!

First, I love a Yan fic where if some of the details are slightly different it could be another fluff fic. And this gave me that! Like, wholesome Jade moments, where both of us are in a love circle/triangle thing, and eventually fall in love on our own is good, but the added darkness? Delicious!

Also, we love Jade and Azul plotting in the background while Floyd literally has no idea. The only truly innocent one in this fic, and if he did have a normal person crush (which I hc he did) he in some ways was the coolest guy.

Also!!!! I thought I was strong, but I got caught up in the delusion as well, sometimes forgetting that Floyd wasn't Floyd, oh lordy the writing.

And then there's the genuine nausea I had when we were about to seriously confess, knowing exactly what was about to happen. OMG got a little light headed 😭

Anyways, beautiful masterpiece, and out of all the iterations of Jade, I think this one probably has the best chance for a genuine happily ever after.

I love writing yandere fics in which they're mostly soft, so you're left waiting for the kick to the stomach or the part in which the atmosphere changes drastically from soft and sweet to scary and sinister!!! I had so much fun writing all of the wholesome moments with Jade and all of the times where he's trying so hard (and sadly failing). T^T it gave me great satisfaction to write his desperate pining from afar. He is but a silly (definitely not menacing) eel in love. <3

Jade and Azul scheming…… aaaa they're so sly!!! >:( perhaps, on some level, Floyd suspects it because if anyone's going to know Jade the best it's his own blood. But then maybe he just chooses not to address it because he can't be bothered or doesn't want to get wrapped up in it. And the reader doesn't know the lengths Jade went to in order to orchestrate the perfect opportunity to have you truly alone (and what better place for that than the sea? >:D). I really love it when characters are scheming in the background while the others remain oblivious, and Jade and Azul make for such a scummy duo when it comes to covert plans.

I'm glad my writing could allow you to get immersed in the parts where Jade was playing Floyd. >:) those parts were very exciting to write because I got to write Floyd dialogue and actions while also mixing it with some of Jade's mannerisms and way of speaking. His little convenient slips where he speaks or acts as himself while being Floyd..... aaaaaa it's so fun!! And Reader's confession!!!!! Doomed from the beginning,,, (๑﹏๑//) I wanted to hug her while I was writing it, but that's what Jade is for hehe. :D he will give her lots of hugs and continue to slowly slide his way into her heart.
