andi is fairly timid in terms of personality. she doesn't speak loud, she doesn't start conversations, she'll stay silent during group settings, she'll hide behind people to avoid any attention being on her. it leads to people underestimating her a lot of the time when they're unaware that she can turn into a huge, horrific spider creature. but she's lived surrounded by violence and death her whole life. being hunted is a feeling she knows better than being loved. she's felt fear more times than she's felt happiness, or excitement, or felt safe.

the only form of protection she's ever had is her spider form, and in the nuclear wasteland that was her universe it was kill of be killed. brutality is normal for her. it's one of the few things that has never changed, that she could always rely on being there, and it's gradually become some grim comfort to her. seeing city's that aren't reduced to rubble, people everywhere (she was lucky if she saw any normal, uninfected survivors once every few months in her home), people that aren't trying to hunt her down and kill her, are all things that are new to her. getting used to it has been no easy feat, and she still struggles with it despite having been in the spider society for two years now - since she was 17.

she always fights like she's going to die because that had always been the case, and holding back shrimply isn't in her nature because it would get her killed. her fights have always ended in torn throats, pools of blood, weeping claw marks and dismembered bodies. she has to undergo a lot of training to help her learn to fight without the intention to kill, and even then she rarely ever goes out of missions of any kind. so it isn't a well known fact that the quiet and nervous andi is actually a walking slaughter fest.

Milf Lexa for Alycia's dress 👀

One of those dinner dates with Clarke on a nice restaurant and it's been like 2 decades since Lexa had to dress up to go out to eat and she's constantly over thinking what's appropriate for a casual yet upscale dinner. And Clarke is always so nicely dressed in moment like this, a cute pair of slacks and a button up with a blazer that always makes Lexa feel overdressed if she tries too hard and under dressed if she tries to be casual.

So this dress is a shot in the dark for her, she loves the lace and it's so comfy but it gives her this more youthful look she isn't sure its appropriate for her age.... that is until Clarke waits for her the living room and Lexa sees her eyes sparkle when she sees Lexa and yup, this is definitely a winner for tonight's dinner date.

She ends up wearing it to Delilah's violin recital too and she gets so many compliments from the other moms when usually she feels so out of place with these women and having Clarke next to her is a even bigger help :)
