SOOO attentive! He will listen to anything and everything you have to say, even the nonsense rambles. He loves LOVES hearing you talk, so keep it up!! (Yapper x Listener dynamic). 

Remembers every little detail of you like he lives in your mind (you definitely live rent free in his!!). Even something small like your favorite sweater he’ll remember, and make sure its clean so that way you can wear it.  

He also is attentive on things that you have, such as if you have a favorite scent. If you run out, he would notice and buy you another when the time is right.

He isnt the type of guy to “boast” about his relationship, since he feels like those little details of you guys are private. However that doesnt mean he is afraid to show you off or talk about it, when given the chance and seen appropriate he has no problem talking all about you. 

(With modern day), his phone screen is definitely a picture of you holding Gizmo. 

100% talks about you with Larry. Him and I are extremely close to the point Larry knew Sal had a crush on you before he did. Larry is asking him every so often how you guys are doing, and thats where Sal gets to dump out his romantic feelings for you without having it feel weird. 

His love languages would be gift giving, quality time and acts of service. He struggles to find the words to show how he cares and I feel like he would be very awkward with physical touch (atleast at first) because hes worried on messing up, so gift giving is his way showing he is VERY intrested in you. He also LOVES taking care of other people, so being able to show the person he loves that he cares AND gets to take care of you? Win win. The icing on the cake; being able to spend hours with you whenever it be out and about or just in silence it means so so much to him.

If you struggled to sleep one night, he would be on his way to be beside you and sing to you to sleep. Especially if you had nightmares he would be so delicate with you. Clean blankets, water, anything you’d need he’d be right there for you. 

Would make little songs for you on his guitar and play them for you as a gift.  

As said before, he wouldnt be physical affecienate right away in fears of you leaving or making you uncomfortable. Once he knows that you are comfortable, he is the most clingy person on planet Earth. Hugs from behind, kiss on the hand, you name it. 

LOVESSS when you kiss his mask. He definitely feels bad that his face is scarred so its not the “normal way to kiss”, but by treating it like that makes him feel so much better. 

Writes you so many love letters. Although he struggles to vocalize his words, putting it down on paper perfectly describes how he feels. You have to keep an entire keepsake with how many letters and other gifts he gives you.  

ALWAYS texts good morning and goodnight. No matter what is going on he will always do his very best to keep up with you.

sal almost always smells like zaza and cologne. actually no he probably uses the bubblegum hello kitty perfume. it just smells so yummy to him he doesn't like 'proper' dates that much tbh. he wouldnt wanna go to a restaurant bcs of his prosthetic - so it's probably you guys at home in a pillow fort watching final destination.

he definitely goes to music shops and spends hours there. he'll spend a good 2 hours or so looking through what vinyls they have, maybe looking for CDs, too.

whenever they have the newest sanity's fall album in stock, he buys it straight away. he loooves that shit. (don't blame him, me too.)

sal brings a small digital camera with him everywhere; he takes pictures of interesting things he finds, memories, ghost stuff, evidence/findings, whatnot.

he paints his nails a lot. mainly black, but sometimes he goes for a bit more colour. (red, blue, that's.. kind of it.) he's constantly redoing them because he chips off the nail polish absentmindedly or when he's bored.

he sleeps weird. he falls asleep on the couch and wakes up facedown in the bathtub. he's definitely one of those people who falls asleep and then wakes up on the other end of the bed or on the floor.

his spotify playlists r so fucking long. like 30h minimum at most. there's no such thing as a playlist that's too long, wdym?

General and dating

- Fast driver, turns those corners like it's nothing.

- Calls you up at very odd hours of the night/day. Doesn't actually have anything to say, he just wants you to talk to him.

- Enjoys comfortable silences.

- Obsessed with the feel of you, not even in a dirty way. He wants to be in your skin.

- Smells like pine needles and smoke (trust me he told me).

- Wiggles his finger in your ear when he wants you to pay attention to him.

- His humor is either eye watering, floor rolling, perfectly timed comedy or literal dad jokes, there's no in-between.

- Silent treatment does not work on him, you'll end up speaking very quickly.

- Snores like "honk shoo, honk shoo"

- Sensitive scalp, the second your hands are in his hair he's struggling to keep his eyes open.

- Teaches you (or tries to-) anything that he's good at/ interested in. So now you have basic knowledge on guitars, drums , painting, colour theory, video games and.... Hamilton??😧

sally face baking headcanons ft. larry & lisa

some fluffy headcanons about sal fisher as a baker, set in the early days at addison apartments

→ Sally fucks heavily with baking. I think he'd see Lisa baking something and then it would click in his head as something tangible he can do for the other Addison Apartment residents. So he picks up tips and tricks from her, since for a period of time he practically lives in her and Larry's apartment.

→ His dad doesn't really care what they buy at the grocery store as long as it's technically food, so he barely notices when Sally begins picking out the basics: flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, etc.

→ He practices over and over, eating his fair share of burnt cookies and soggy cake. There are no cookbooks at home, but once he discovers that Gizmo doesn't mind watching cooking shows with him, he improves.

→ The first ever thing he bakes for another person is his Dad. He gets Lisa's blessing to use her kitchen and he and Larry get to work late one night under the guise of a sleepover. They print out a recipe from the internet in the school library and bring it home.

→ It makes his chest hurt, looking at the recipe for a lemon cake with vanilla frosting--the closest recipe he could find to what his mom would make every year for his dad's birthday. She called it "lovely lemon" cake. She always did like alliterations.

→ It takes then far too long. Larry mostly provides moral support, cheering him on and keeping him company as he measures and rechecks everything. Its worth it though. The resulting cake looks good, lopsided but, ultimately very cake-like, with "happy birthday dad" written in blue icing in between candles.

→ makes henry smile for the first time in months

→ after that sally begins learning all sorts of recipes to share with his neighbors. he makes a little chart of birthdays and anniversaries so that he doesn't forget anyone's special day.

→ develops a real habit of stress baking. when things aren't going well, he can usually be found blasting metal music and whipping up a batch of muffins.

I normally wouldn't write something like this, BUT I love Sally Face and it NEEDSSSS more recognition 🙏🙏🙏  

(I'm totally not in love with him or something. WHAT WHO SAID THAT??)

 I feel like he would be one of those types of people who carry lotion, hand sanitizer, tissues etc due to him taking good care of his skin/body. Due to what has happened to him, any little germ can get under his skin which is not a good thing :P 

That being said, he would get bad allergic reactions to scented lotions so he’d stick with the typical scents. (However, if it's a scent he really likes..he won't mind getting a rash for once, he already has a prosthetic..) 

SOOOOO good at comforting people. Even if you just met him, he may be a bit awkward but he won't just let you sit there and cry. Possibly just reach in his bag and hand over a tissue while staring at you. 

Again, just carries EVERYTHING. That doesn't mean his bag is full! Due to Ashley, Larry, and even Todd he has random ass items in his bag until they ask if he knows where it is. (Even offering his space to carry your stuff too!) 

“Hey Sal, have you seen *blank*?” “Oh uh..*rummages through his pockets* this?” “Thanks man!” 

The type of guy to try and cuff his jeans but they always end up uneven so they either are uneven or not cuffed. (The stains man..)

Lets Ashley paint his nails. Can't tell me otherwise. Usually Black, Red or a blue similar to his hair. Probably matched with the gang at one point due to Ashley begging them. 

Has calluses on his hands due to guitar playing. 

First off, such a good listener to everybody. He could sit there for hours listening to you and comfort you if you felt like you were talking too much. That being said, if you mention you like ANYTHING (such as a candy) you know he will start carrying it just in case you wanted it or had a rough day. 

If he sees a bug or rock he likes, you know its going into a collection. Started collecting rocks in about 7th grade and hasnt stopped since. It probably started just in a box and now has a small display on a nightstand. Bugs he obviously cannot keep in a condition like that so he may just carry it around for a bit on a finger until they are in a place where they are safe. (Maybe even to scare Larry with). 

Is probably used to most jokes that could be considered “too far” or “rude” now due to the insults he's experienced of his prosthetic, but if it ever crosses a line by touching it or even towards a friend…watch out.  

With that, he probably makes dark humor jokes.  

When he's nervous, he probably scratches the sides of his hands or picks at his nails. (They never stood a chance) 

MAN NEEDS NEW SHOES THEY ARE RIPPING APART. SOMEBODY PLEASE 

He jokes around so much with his friends of “bromance” (like fake kissing, lovey terms etc) to the point he has had a rumor or two with his friends.

Cannot do gymnastics tricks well. He probably tried a handstand once to prove to Larry and fell right over. Ash most likely teaches him over time so he gets..better? 

I bet he reads a little! When he isn't ghost hunting or needs a break playing the guitar, he will pick up a book for fun. (Maybe even reads to Gizmo once in awhile)

•has the best sense of style out of the whole group. the amount of clothes and accessories in her closet is impressive and she always puts together the most fire fits

•so sweet and friendly to literally everyone but will actually kill someone if they fuck with her

•has a really hectic home life so she basically trained herself to sleep like a rock through anything

•literally the mom of the group, shes always looking out for everyone especially cuz she has her own little brother she takes care of

•master of diy she can make something out of literally anything and make it look amazing

todd:

•when times get desperate he sells bud from his dad’s garden

•never even came out to his parents, he didnt feel a need to they just accepted it and never questioned him

•has so many plants around the house and has names for every single one

•he doesnt allow sal to bring gizmo to his apartment cuz he once tried to eat bob

•everyones always asking to touch his hair cuz he takes care of it so well its so soft and curly

•spends the most amount of time on the internet than the rest of the group

•probably why his eyesight is dogshit 😹😹😹

•his brain is like its own encyclopedia, he’ll just randomly drop the most insane fun facts on everyone for no reason but its always a good conversation starter

•his parents randomly tell him these crazy stories from when they were young hippies

•they almost named him some hippie shit like “star”

•talks to himself a lot, like actual conversations with himself. sometimes he just narrates what hes doing without even realizing it until his mom walks in and is like “who tf are u talking to”

•on the spectrum and is deadpan majority of the time so whenever hes being sarcastic its so hard to tell

•so full of wisdom literally everyone goes to him for advice, even his own parents sometimes

•thats a left handed mf if ive ever seen one

•not photogenic at all and always has to be suade into being in group pictures

other random things:

•when theres no mysteries to be investigated, the gang likes to have sleepovers at larrys place where they smoke and watch movies and play video games and stuff

•sal and larry take “whats mine is yours” to another level. theyre always together and they share pretty much everything, from clothes to literal toothbrushes (they are disgusting)

•sal brings gizmo to chug’s place sometimes so soda has someone to play with (she likes to style his fur and he steals her stickers)

•a lot of the songs from the ost were songs that sal, larry, and sometimes rob recorded together for fun

•rob also taught them both how to skate

•chug is a massive weeb

•ashley and todd are basically sal and larrys ubers cuz sal has horrible vision and larry got his license revoked

General and dating

- He did all his piercings himself and actually did really well, they look professional.

- Loves those psychological thriller thingys, his favorite series is probably like black mirror idk.

-Pet names. Calls you sweetheart ( jokingly) and he also calls you dude (romantically).

- This is literally canon😭, but he has his hands in his pockets all the time. HORRIBLE, horrible posture. He probably suffers from back pain.

- He giggles, I'm telling you his laugh is the cutest thing ever.

- All of his paintings are centered around you. It might not be direct, or a painting of you specifically. It could have been something you said, or something reminded him of you. You're his muse.

- He really likes birds. Sings back to them if no one is watching.

- He's never disagreeable, once it's you. You could tell him to do anything and he'd do it.

- A theater kid at some point.

- That's the reason why he communicates in screams ( no just hear me out-". He screams as a response. Ask him something? He'll probably scream then answer afterwards.

- Smiles around you more because he loves when you gush over his lil tooth gap.

- What's the opposite of a picky? That's him. He'll eat anything that is provided, anything that's edible (and inedible, sometimes).
