Awesome Lyrics!
They see me as a soft girl,
The one with joy in her eyes,
And they think to end up this happy,
Troubles must have been out of my sight,
But this is not true,
Because like everyone,
I have had my share of blues,
And the reason I now smile so bright,
Is because I have paid it's price;
I have known sadness,
Just like the rest of you,
But I choose to look past that;
I don't carry that burden on my back,
I left it just where I found it,
And that's what sets us apart.
I have grown with tears and pain,
While walking through the life's hurricane,
So, let them see me as they do,
As a soft girl with sparkle in her eyes,
Because there lives a warrior inside.

EXCLUSIVE! Entertainment ki Raat@9 Limited Edition’s Abhilash Thapliyal: I appreciate Sunil Grover more than anyone else
Entertainment ki Raat is back with its second season. The show promises to be wholesome family entertainment and features Saumya Tandon as the host, along with Neha Pendse, RJ Abhilash, comedians Mubeen Saudagar, Balraj and child artist, Divyansh. Among these well established names, RJ Abhilash Thapliyal is making his TV debut with this comedy show. This boy-next-door became an online sensation and then an RJ. Well, he didn’t stop there as he also made his Bollywood debut recently with Tapsee Pannu and Saquib Saleem-starrer Dil Juunglee. As he now makes his small screen debut, we got in touch with him for a candid chat and here is what he revealed…
When we asked him as to how does he feel about his TV debut, he couldn’t contain his excitement. He said, “I feel great. I have done few commercials but as a show, a non fiction show on TV , this is my first so I feel great about it. Moreover, it is something which I always wanted to do. Something which is more impropmt to, more on the fly. Because you can’t plan this kind of a show. We start our shooting and without anycuts, we shoot constantly for 3-4 hours long. That is the whole feel of it.”
The entertainer, who is also known for his online character, ‘MufflerMan’ has come a long way. From being the internet sensation, to an RJ, doing a movie and now a comedy show, so we were keen to know about his journey. While sharing about it, he says, “It has been great! God has been kind on me. Inspite of being a non-talented guy, I am getting work (laughs). As long as I am getting work, it feels great. It is the kind of work, which I wanted to do.” Further sharing about his Entertainment Ki Raat partners, he said, “People who are around are great. Saumya Tandon, Neha Pendse everyone of them are great. Working with talents of such level is kind of achievement. Moreover, they also appreciate your work and that feels great.”
With his TV debut, we are really excited know, if he plans being part of a daily soap in future. He says, “I don’t know actually. I don’t know how will I react to it. For now I love this kind of a format because by default I am like that. By default I can’t stick to a script. I speak randomely and more comfortable in imprompt to. But if something comes in future, will see what happens then.”
When we ask him about his inspiration, he says he gets inspired by Sunil Grover above everyone else. “I appreciate Sunil Grover more than anyone else. Because the kind of range this guy has in his characters is something I can’t stop craving about. If you think about Mashur Gulati, you will feel there is surely some real person with that name. You won’t doubt that Mashur Gulati is a spoof. If you look at Gutthi, that is also something different. He is not loud. His characters are very normal and very chilled. Non of the charcaters are irrtating. I don’t want to follow anyone, but I appreciate him for his talents.” He further added, “I want to create my own style. I don’t want to follow anyone. I have my own set of charcaters, which I have seen and observed. Everyone has a different journey and I will also have mine. But when it comes to observation, I appreciate Sunil Grover for that talent. I understand, where he is coming from, the nuances he brings to the characters,” he reveals. (Also Read: Entertainment Ki Raat@9 Limited Edition review: A potentially good show brought down by predictable humour)
When we ask him about his stint in the show, he quips, “I am playing the character of Cutie Pie Sharma. He is an adorable boy, who hails from Bihar. The guests who have come to the show, they feel that I truly belong from Bihar. Farah Khan and others really thought that I am from Bihar. But I have no connection with the place. I have never been to Bihar, I am not a Bihari. So when you are doing something that to in a nonfiction show, it feels great. Generally, they call me and ask me tell us how you speak normally. So I feel great.”

I knew I could never have you,
And from day one,
That has been my truth;
But despite all odds,
My heart still rooted only for you;
Since the start,
I knew I'd lose this race,
I knew it would break my heart;
Yet I decided to run,
To feel the pain, to ache for you;
Because you, my dear, reign over my mind;
When you're with me, it freezes the time,
And for you I'd burn,
I'd burn for a lifetime,
Knowing it'll leave a scar;
A testimony of my love for you.
It's like I could never love anyone but you;
Because I only ever wanted it to be you.

Long time no see? Back now :)
If I were a colour,
I wonder who's favourite I'd be,
What vibe is it that I give,
What is it exactly,
That people see in me?
Do I resemble pink,
A soft and kind warmth,
Paired with playful sight,
The eyes that see love tainted clouds,
When looking at the sky.
Do I speak green,
An aura that lingers,
In gardens and fresh breeze;
Cradling in nature's embrace,
In the arms of the trees;
Could I be red,
A pretty rose,
With its thorns kept hidden inside,
For love and life don't bloom without sacrifice;
Or is it blue,
Reflection of serene and calm hues,
One that has both,
The highs of the sky,
And the depths of the sea.
Do I reflect yellow,
The bright shining light,
Like joy bursting out,
To be a part of our lives.

A Love I Once Knew
I still think of you sometimes,
Even though you're no longer mine;
My heart still beats in your name,
And my eyes can't seem to erase your face.
I still think of you sometimes,
Whenever I look at the pretty skies;
The same hues once adored your cheeks,
Those cheeks now receive someone else's kiss.
I still think of you sometimes,
In places where silence resides,
Each rustle turning my eyes,
As if you're right here, passing by.
I still think of you sometimes,
While writing a poem,
When there comes a line,
To which your name would be the perfect rhyme.
I still think of you sometimes,
I know it crosses some lines;
For me you are a dream,
A forbidden one;
But still,
My heart cries and yearns,
For nobody but you.

I see them,
Walking with bouquets,
Of roses, orchids and lilies.
Pretty flowers wrapped delicately,
In fine papers with satin ribbons;
But those girls with bouquets,
Are someone I could never be;
It'd be too much effort,
To put for someone ordinary like me.
So I'll happily accept a bunch,
The fancy packing is extravagant anyway,
And for me,
Just flowers put together carefully would be fine;
But for me,
I don't think they'd gather so many,
So, I'll take not many but a few,
Need not be precious flowers,
Like lilies and orchids,
Even tiny ones would be alright;
Just a few blooms tied together,
Yes that would do.
But maybe that's too much to ask for too,
So I'll take one,
Just one sole flower,
That presents its beauty with pride;
A present not grand but mine.
But if that isn't possible too,
I'll take a leaf,
Green and fine;
I guess,
For someone ordinary like me,
That should suffice.

Was it so easy to leave me behind?
Everything we built over time,
Now falling apart in front of my eyes.
It's not like I didn't see it coming;
I certainly saw the signs.
But I refused to believe,
That such fate could be mine.
How foolish could I be,
To have ignored this for so long?
I thought you loved me,
But I clearly was wrong.
With each falling brick,
You were slipping away.
Why did I have to meet you,
If you were never going to stay?

Me and you,
A story incomplete,
A secret half told,
Half yet to unveil.
Known faces yet strangers to one another,
A tragedy where the leads never find each other;
Call this chance or call it fate,
Because such was our story,
That even luck couldn't change.
Acquaintances who were meant to be lovers,
Ending up being just a name to each other;
But deep in my heart,
Your name will remain engraved,
Because such was our love,
That even fate couldn't erase.

For the right person,
You'll find the words,

You'll find the love.

They find it hard to believe
How despite all the hurt,
I always decide to stay,
As if it's easy,
As if it's possible to walk away.
He has held my heart,
Ever since I had one,
How do I take it back,
When I never learnt to hold it alone?
Sometimes love is captivating,
And sometimes it holds you captive;
Torture disguised as love,
That becomes your idea of love,
Because it's all you have ever known.
So, I cling to it,
Because I don't know how to leave;
Maybe I am too weak,
Maybe I only learnt to love,
In all the wrong ways.
So, I stay,
Despite what others feel,
Because they'll never understand,
How you could become so used to pain,
That it's the only thing you feel.

He says he loves me,
But it sounds strange,
How does he look at me,
And have no complaints?
Does he not see the wrongs in me;
The acne, the tanning,
Every fault in me that the mirror shows,
Things that even I loathe.
How can he find beauty,
When all I see are blemishes and scars,
Parts of me that I wish I could hide;
Has he no ideas of the societal bars?
It makes me wonder,
If his love is blind or just kind;
Does he really not see or just chooses to ignore,
All the flaws that I possess,
Or is he in love,
With not me but my illusion?
I'm afraid,
One day he'll wake up and realise,
Everything that I really am.

You must think,
I forgot,
But I remember it all;
All the jokes that you made,
Every word you ever said;
Each symphony of yours,
Still echoes in my head.
Each night I dream of you,
In my yellows, in my blues;
Your memories linger in my eyes,
So much so that,
Even the clouds seem to paint your face in the sky.
Everything seems to relate to you,
Even oranges,
That you liked only when in a juice.
You must think,
I forgot,
But honey, I still remember it all.

The midnights remind me,
Of all the wrongs I did,
All the miseries I caused.
Times when I wasn't sorry,
My past mistakes I failed to care about;
These pending apologies,
Will someday cause my demise.
My crimes won't let me live,
They strangle me to death each night,
Yet I survive just to hate myself,
I disappointed everyone who thought I was kind.
Now I'll wait,
For all the wrongs to come back to me in full circle,
For me to face the outcomes,
And be released from my blunders.

I miss being a wallflower,
Because being noticed can be a curse,
It's like they're watching every move,
Only to define my worth.
I miss being a wallflower,
The time when I wasn't so seen,
When I could be lying in a corner,
Even in the most chaotic scene.
I miss being a wallflower,
The spotlight is too much to handle,
I see people judge me all the time,
It's a daily thing I have to tackle.
I miss being a wallflower,
When my presence wasn't so strongly felt,
I could be who I am,
My words weren't a secret I kept.
I miss being a wallflower,
Because wallflowers aren't plucked,
Only the prettiest of flowers,
Are destined to be cut.
I wish to go back,
When I only wished to be,
The girl I am now;
The girl who was seen.

I woke up to a text from you,
Not a message that said morning,
Or a random song you thought I'd like,
It was something I wasn't expecting;
It was the one with goodbye.
You always said without me you'd not survive,
And today you decided to leave my side.
Was I so easy to let go of?
I got a text from you,
Not one asking if I liked lilies or orchids,
It was you telling me how you didn't love me anymore.
It shook me by my core,
How fast the things changed,
Just yesterday you said " I want you for the rest of my life"
And today you want to embark on this journey alone.
I got a text from you,
The one I never wanted to receive,
It felt like the end of life,
The end I thought I'd never live to see.
I read it again,
Just incase I was mistaken,
It's obviously a mistake, I was certain.
But the words were as clear as they could be,
You and me together,
Was something you never wanted to be.
I shattered into pieces,
Do you remember when I actually meant something to you ?
I got a text from you,
A text that marked the end of me and you.
