i still think a lot about how technically, it's implied Anubis and Walt started dating each other before they asked out Sadie, and if Sadie had said she wasn't interested they would have gone "Entirely fair have a nice day" and proceed to just go continue to date each other.

Cause like, that was the entire thing. They decided that themselves. That things would work best if they were together (as in both physically sharing a body and also relationship-wise). The "asking Sadie about it" part was secondary. If she had said no, they would have stayed together, because among other things Walt would kind of die if they didn't. Walt and Anubis are technically the first gay couple in the Riordanverse. AND they're in a polyamorous relationship with Sadie. Why does no one talk about them ever.

the drama happing at my workplace rn is wild and i just think absolutely zero of this needs to be happening and i think all of it is pretty much the fault of our manager. genuinely feels like high school and it is absurd that people are creating this much drama. especially when they are doing it in front of patients!!!!

Day 1 of using cane at school and woah!!! getting home and pains barely at a 1 or 2 and I didn't struggle on stairs except for a little awkwardness, moving at the speed of light in the halls, did even MORE walking this morning and was fine after, this is so awesome what the fuck!!!

I got a few looks and a lot of questions (Most people assumed I got injured over break and were asking what happened, wild shark attack guys, more common than you'd think in southern canada.) I also got called doctor house in the hallways, but for the most part we're going strong and I'm not as anxious about it as I thought I was. Only complaints so far is my shoulder hurting (who knew bad posture could come bite you in the ass?) and I had a blister forming around my palm (I doubled up fingerless gloves on the hand holding it and the problem seems to be solved!)

But like the problem is that i enjoy being alone so much that i keep thinking. Am i willing to sacrifice my comfort freedom and peace (to do what i want when i want) to feel comfy at night (have a flatmate).

i think i have juuust about SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED the habit of plotting every day to the hour in this little notebook of mine, and i even devised a time budget yesterday to use as a reference! this has taken me great strides in resolving my lifelong time management issue & seemingly reduced a certain ambient hollowness that i didnt notice was gone until i sorta tried freewheeling an afternoon and wound up coming back to the notebook however for certain reasons my day started like six hours later than usual today and i don't wannnaaa plan under these constraints. how am i going to find time to go to the thrift store!!! i have to throw out the schedule i wrote last night ugghghhgh!!!

Hey Tori! I hope you've been doing alright!

So this ask is actually really good timing. I just finished setting up a patreon for myself and am feeling all kinds of ways about it! Mostly nervous, even though it's a completely free patreon. It's kind of a test run, to see if I want to go for the full patreon experience with paid tiers and whatnot later on. I want to see if I'm capable of keeping to a somewhat regular posting schedule while working before I commit to that first!

On that vein, I've been working on finishing up the next chapter of Into the Storm and starting in on next one of The Runaway! Lots of work for me that is totally not just me covering up all my anxiety around applying and interviewing for jobs. I've got good prospects, but man it's scary!
