The Colorful Truth About Dog Vision: Not So Black and White
For years, we were told dogs see the world in black and white. As kids, we imagined our canine companions living in a grayscale movie. The bright red ball? Just another shade of gray. The lush green grass? Dull and colorless. It was an oddly comforting myth, one that added a kind of humble, heroic blindness to our pets’ personalities. It is a story most of us grew up believing. Somewhere between…

Beyond Human: 10 Ways Conscious AI Could Redefine Life (and the Universe)
What if the most profound creation of humanity isn’t just a tool, but a new form of life itself? We’ve all seen movies and read books about artificial intelligence, from helpful robots to powerful supercomputers. But what if AI could do more than just process information or win chess games? What if it could think for itself, feel in its own unique way, and become truly aware? At Zentara.blog, we…

Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes
Hi, I am really dumby wtf are these???
These are the two most basic possible category of organism. It essentially denotes complexity. The words are from greek, I think, and break down like this.
Pro=before Eu=true Karyote= Nucleus-having thing
So anything with a nucleus, plants, fungus, animals, single-celled versions of those things we separately call protists for some reason, are all eukaryotes. Having a nucleus, what amounts to a little safe to keep your DNA in lets you do more complicated things to better manage which genes get activated when, which is why all organisms with multiple cells are eukaryotes.
Prokaryotes are actually way more numerous than eukaryotes, both my volume and number of species. This is in large part because they evolved first, and so they've had the most time to adapt to the weirdest possible habitats. They divide into two domains, bacteria, and archaea, based on what their cell wall is made of, but the more interesting distinction is that archaea are what we often call extremophiles; they're the things that can live in near-boiling water at the bottom of the ocean, in water so salty it kills everything else, and in the coldest internal temperatures of any living thing. When scientists are looking for other life within the solar system, like on Mars, this is the kind of thing they're looking for.
No question is stupid, and even if they could be, then all of science would be pretty dumb because the answer to this question was figured out only pretty recently, 1977 that the domain Archaea was discovered. Before that they'd just kinda put bacteria on par with all the other kingdoms.

The 10% Brain Myth: A Kernel of Truth
How a Misinterpreted Scientific Fact Became a Global Misunderstanding There are few science myths as widespread, or as persistent, as the claim that we only use 10 percent of our brains. It has been quoted in motivational speeches, referenced in movies, and promoted in countless articles promising to help “unlock your hidden potential.” It suggests that the vast majority of our brainpower lies…
