"Have you deceived and betrayed anyone yet today? It is almost lunchtime, after all."
Set
âMmm.â He squinted, thinking about. But no. It had been a while since he actually had to betray anyone. Mostly because he was isolated from most of those he found worthy of betraying, if he needed to. These days, really, he had no one he needed to betray. Most of the gods were pale comparisons of what they were once touted to be. The modern age had left them all so hollow. But chaos was still abounding. Nourishing Set enough. Tilting his head back then he grinned âNo god is worth it these days. Now. Humans. They do enough betraying one another and themselves to keep me entertained for the next, hmm, fifty years? Perhaps more, depending on circumstances.â

Set winced a bit, his nose scrunching slightly âI think you're mistaken. I don't see myself as anything but what I am. Though I do see what others perceive me as.â He shrugged at this. He liked who he was, there was nothing wrong with him, from where he was sitting. It however, didn't matter how much he loved himself, when others separated themselves from him, due to who he was. Mistreated him, because of what he was. But he had also mistreated others, and those who mistreated him. It was very tit for tat, as all gods were usually want to do.
As a god, he was not ashamed to be evil. If that is what he must be. But even so, as a god, he wasn't wanting to be excluded. At least, not in the way evil often was. Or, well, those assigned to be evil, as far as mortals could perceive. They thought they had the singular authority on these things, losing the grey's that happened in between far too often.
âRight.â He makes a face, not showing much amusement " I am very different from others, that is true. And because of that, it is often that I'm in solitude without another's company.â Though he nodded at the way the other described himself âA seer, that is fascinating, and do you enjoy that?â Though listening to Rico speak on he reached out to take a glass âDestruction is change, chaos is the brush between the two.â Set stated then as he brought the glass close to him âYou want to fuck, magically? Cute. Perhaps that can be arranged.â Set inspected the drink then.
" Of someone seeing you for who you are and actually liking you. People have shit on you for so long it may have shaded how you see yourself. "
The more he heard the deity speak the more he felt pain and loneliness. He would say that the man needed to get laid but that only went so far partly as he wanted to lay with the man. Something about the dark aura appealed to him, not as a ploy for power or malice, but as Set could understand his unique blood one and their dark past. The deity was a challenge but one that seemed to have accepted part of him as the conversation was not stagnant.
" Firstly I disagree. It is never too early to admit interest in a person. Especially someone as unique as you. And about me, I am a seer. I see the best and worst aspects of humanity."
Having heard him mention sitting around drinking and making things happen that occasionally go wrong caught his attention, as he had a vision of such things. He had seen a man hit with a piano and air conditioner though he had a feeling more was involved than a mistake bf sett. A reaper had a unique sense of humor and made similar things happen once yet magical mistakes happened and were part of magical life. Having shown his active power that manifested in a blue flame he smiled easily remembering destroying a city with a sneeze. His life was controlled as he had to stay in control to not take on the emotions of others or force his emotions onto them. That was aside from getting random visions of people's sex lives or their deaths.
"Chaos is change and that is amazing for someone who has to see everything. We could join our powers and do magic together. I also have a bourbon from over a century ago. Maybe you can have a drink."

Set, How do you think you would do against the god king Xerces?
Set thought about it for a moment, then a sly little grin formed on his lips in remembrance, the person mentioned was certainly, ...entertaining. For a little while, anyway. But eventually, like all such things, it became boring. He did like how a movie made this one look. But still, rather dull, honestly. Leaning lazily against his seat, he stretched out a leg, holding a drink in one hand, his other arm stretched out over the back of the seat, he sighed âKill him...I suppose.â Taking a sip from his drink, he looked away in a casual manner âAfter playing with him.â He then muttered.

Set knew he could, and had done far worse to others, after all, he was a god of chaos. But right now he felt some content in simply just being annoying, if not a bit of a biological hazard. As they snapped at him he sat back, crossing his arms under his chest, a smirk toying over his lips.
Then, after a moment, he spoke "Whatever, the fuck, I want." Was his reply, the smirk fully on his lips now "Maybe I liked that bug, there. You don't know. Maybe it was my family. Maybe it had a family. Now it might have amnesia." The god teased, shrugging "Chaos happens when you fuck up the ecosystem."

For a moment, all the elemental witch could do was stare at Set in shock - a rare state of affairs for her. Finally, she leaned in very deliberately and flicked him in the middle of his forehead, swearing at him in French as she demanded to know:
âWhat the actual fuck do you think you are doing? You had a bug on your nose!â

She was obviously drunk, clearly not in the right frame of mind. Or maybe she was. But, this was Set, he wasnât exactly going to care. It was sex, he was a god, what Godly being didnât jump at the chance to fuck? Athena, perhaps, but even that had to be debatable. She wasnât going to live a thousand years and not get fucked. Just look at the Queen of England who supposedly also didnât have sex either, but yet also had at least one son. But, the case was definitely that Set wouldnât let the moment just pass him buy. His hand worked over her, shifting between Shayâs legs, tickling her just right.
At least until she pulled herself up on to the wall. Moving his hand a smirk pressed faintly over his lips as his hands moved to grip around her helping her balance against the wall as she slipped herself over him. Giving a slightly gruff chuckle he let her do as she liked for the moment, knowing that it could be quite an experience at first, with a god. Or maybe that was just with him, Set perhaps had too big of a headâŠWhat kind of sex life did he really have, honestly. If you read any history the mortals had wrote about him, it didnât make his sex life look anywhere near âgreatâ. Set gave small thrusts as she pushed down on him, thrusting herself deeper onto his cock, her moans filling the room.
As her fingernails raked down his back he let out a small hiss, not of pain of course. Just of enjoying Shayâs aggressiveness and yearning overall. Wrapping his arms up over her shoulders when Shay started to ride harder, her body pressing against his own. Set pressed his lips along her neck and sucked at her flesh as the moment came when it was his turn to start participating much more. Grinning against the nape of her neck for a moment he let out a cool breath over her skin before pressing her back against the wall.
Set slowly pulled out of her, until the tip, rubbing it against her cunt for a moment, teasing her. Then slowly he moved to press himself back in. Only to stop, green eyes locking onto hers as what seemed like agonizingly long moments passed them by. Set then started to slam her into the wall, his cock slamming deep inside of her, one thrust after another, pressing her body to the wall with each shift forward. His cock driving deeper into Shay with each thrust, spiking his head into that sweet, tender spot. He had known this wasnât going to last very long. At least not for Shay. Gripping a hand loosely around Shayâs neck Set went on, pushing her up the wall, almost as if he was trying to break that fleshy barrier inside the woman. And he was built well enough to do so, exceptionally well.

âAnnd what do I have to be scared of?â He looked at the other critically for a moment. Though he knew the other was teasing, and this was his teasing back. Set gave the look for a few long moments before smirk and turning his head slightly away. Though with how his usual relationships went, it was easy to figure out he wasn't going to be and easy challenge to conquer. It was not being called out for fear. Because of course, the mad god had no fear. But, it was more so the complexity of being a god of chaos, mixed with the events that lead to his murdering his brother.
With Rico talking once more he âMaybe it's too early for you to say that.â Set commented waving a hand dismissively, as his past didn't play much part in his present. However, it still happened, and was a part of him regardless. He was a god killer, a mad god, an evil god, and countless other things, and still not the same as what he was presently. Just a god of a dying out pantheon, living a very sanitized life, some of the time.
âWell, you should know, I like to sit around these days and drink while influencing situations that go horribly awry, and, sometimes, people die. Because a piano falling out of the sky, or something as, well, chaotic, at that.â He laughed a little bit, bringing a hand to pat onto his red hair, amused by himself. Pulling his hand away in the next moment though he gestured to Rico âWhy don't you tell me more about you, since you're the unknown element here, in that aspect?â
"If you are scared just say it."
Rico teased though many points made were valid having heard the stories of Sett and his misadventures. Though the same was trie of his father and grandmother nearly drinking the world dry. At most it was a nation and everything in the world had growing pains. Just the ones of his family were louder because of the power. Offering a chuckle he looked at Set knowing a warrior hated to be called out much less accused of fear. The pain of his past was well known yet to grow he needed to move past it accepting it as a mistake he grew from or Ricardo thought.
"Though it was a blind date it is not one that I regret in the least. You have a past... oh well... I still want to know you."
The lettuce comment dis make him smile partly because thoth obsessed over it but more so he loved a good salad. The weed of the green and red variety made him happy and so did the veteran warrior that he shared a table with. For a moment the candle glowed red as thw blue flame engorged it. Rico thought that the pair deserved privacy so he cast a little spell. His family were old and powerful a trait that he inherited aside feom age.

Giving a look, Set blinked âCome on now. Don't tell me you don't know the stories about me. I can't imagine that to be true.â He could have a very good imagination, too. Like how he supposedly just imagined everything his silly little sister wife did to him that made him imagine up the entire reason for why he chopped his brother into pieces and buried those pieces in different places across the world, making Humpty Dumpty harder to put back together, in the end.
Amused, Set turns his head away, feeling the urge to do it all over again. Make a routine of it, just for the fun of it, of course. He wasn't really that mad anymore about what they did to him, as far as children were concerned. He would just be using his cock for evil anyway. No, actually, he was still very angry about that! He might just take another level in madness! Even. As Rico went on he turned his attention back onto the other âFascinating. Demons are part of that Christian Mythology, are they not?â Though he supposed other theologies had their demons, as well.
âPerceptions are often from the wrong point of view, of course. Still, you might end up disappointed if your expectations do not match what you hope for me to be.â He grinned then, knowing he could be all, and also none of what was said about him, at any given time. Because as a god, he was what he needed to be. As the other continued, he nodded âHopefully nothing with lettuce.â He muttered as he lifted the menu. Though he loved lettuce.
"Not to answer one question with another but why wouldnât I?"
With the question he remembered the had made no introduction. Being who he was he likely had knowledge of his father and grandmother. If he knew them then he may understand why he was not afraid od the deity of the desert. Though in a restaurant he chose magic and brought two cups od wine from a blue flame.
"However the answer is because father and grandmother were feared as demons while praised as gods. With that I am well aware of how perception drives a narritive, and i want ro meet you and see who you are for myself."
On a level he knew that rhe pair were destined to do combat with the great enemy of thw sun god. Yet he saw how his family were protrayed and there was a similarity prompting him to take a deeper interest. The comment about Thoth did not go over his head as he was aware as the God of knowledge the comment praised him. Thoth would be proud yet Rico was seeing the truth of Sett having met other deities this one was calm despite having a great amount of power at his disposal. The deity was a warrior and likely as such had a reputation for going to far which he understood.
"You have a beautiful smile... so lets order food and hopefully have a good first date."

âDid he. How wise of him. I guess.â He guessed because that's how the other seemed to like to take his compliments. Set nodded then and blinked slowly âThe real question is, why would you want to meet me, hm?â He questioned then.
As Rico had went on, he shrugged âYou haven't really done anything, yet. Really hard to say either way.â Though he would have to start doing things to entertain himself soon enough. Turning his head looked around for prospective mortals to irritate, then looked back to Rico again âWhat?â Set asked as seen the other grin.
Being asked to tell more about himself, Set made a face, narrowing his gaze, âWhat's the history books told. Just go with that. If I haven't don't it yet. I might!â He grinned at this, though most history was incorrect about him, he wouldn't say he was beneath doing any of the things he may have been accused of. But the things he had actually done, now, he had plenty of reason for doing those things.
"Thoth set up the meeting... and I may need to thank him, "
Rico spoke having heard the man out. The god of magic and wisdom had sent him on a blind date with the famed desert deity. The Great Warhorse of the Egyptian pantheon seemed interesting in ways that he barely understood.
"Hopefully you don't regret meeting me."
He would never mention it, yet his mind was moved by the man's words and understood his plight more than he would acknowledge. Being born of the bloodline of Akasha and Enkiel, he knew their story as their enemies passed to his mother and now him. The pair were praised as gods yet feared as demons, which seemed a lot like Set. He smiled as he saw the man's beautiful eyes.
"Though tell me more about you."

With the other introducing himself, Set stared for a moment, then said âOkay.â Not really one to go around introducing himself to often. He usually did not do much toiling these days in the realm of mortals, since they had written him off as the villain, and then stopped worshiping him. Though this was something becoming commonplace among the humans. Perhaps, he imagined, it was the blood sacrifices. Humans had so many issues, especially with sacrifices. As if they weren't all capable of being killers. Monsters, even. Set found it so amusing how moral some humans could be, untilâŠThere was always an until, for more of them, than less.
But something could always be broken inside these creatures, supernatural ones, even, that could bring out that monster in them. Gods once were so good at bringing it out. But then they turned, and that turn had made the gods weak, as humans and the like, those born of this realm, had a special gift, one Gods seemed to not have, or other beings of such greater purpose, anyway. They were able to choose, with their freewill, their 'giving a name, holding power over them'. Of course, it was funny, how such lowlife creatures were given something even gods could not break, and that was their faith in something. If a human could not believe something could be done to them, then, could it? Not of the holy aspect, he supposed. That was why those who turned from the Gods of the Ancient world had 'weakened' those gods, by directing their faith, onto something else. Their hopes, in something else. Lending that new thing power, and taking away the control gods loved.
Set nodded as Ricardo continued âYes. So it is said and so it is written. I have protected plenty of my brethren.â And he suffered for believing in their kindness, while his sister wife slept behind his back, and poisoned their child against him, and drove himâŠinsane, it might be said. Taking his manhood from him, being the finale, and most fatal of those treacherous acts. His ability to spread his seed, because he caught them, his brother and sister, being unfaithful to him. Loyalty was once so important to the Egyptian God, of course he was bound to fall from grace. It was set from the day he ripped out from his mothers stomach, into this realm. He was to always be washed in blood, and seen as wrong, his rights hidden away. Ra would be dead, if not for him, saving the other from that snake. The mortals forget that tale.
âI could not say. As gods, we are capable of remaking ourselves, over and over again. Perhaps he was, sometimes. Other times, not so much.â He commented, not really having much thoughts on Thoth these days. In these modern times, gods had little thoughts on much at all, mostly desperately trying to cling onto what little worshipers they had left, and getting drunk, spreading their seed, even? He had no idea, honestly, he could only get drunk and wander the world, isolated. Hated. For being who he was, for his rightful anger at the betrayal done to him. He belonged nowhere, and he didn't care. He got plenty of fulfillment in the little chaos' he created, despite the loss of faith in him âHave you come here only to talk of Thoth with me?â
"Thank you"
Looking at the clearly divine being, Rico took the seat, smiling a little. He had no idea why Rhorh had seen fit to set him up but he did not mind as it got him out of the house. Of the many gods of Egypt, this deity had the worst reputation yet seemed to be kind. Thoth like magic always had a plan that no one knew but it always worked, some time is unexpected ways.
"I am Ricardo... I hope that you were not waiting too long."
As Ricardo looked to the deity he smiled a little as the stories he had heard came to mind. His grandmother appreciated the man for his warrior nature, while his father had no true feelings, good or bad, as he slept while Set was most active. A waiter came over and Rico ordered a drink before needing time to look over the menu to decide on food. Thoth described the man in many ways prompting Rico to use it as a way to speak.
"I heard you were a great warrior and protected Thoth a few times. Was he always so let's say insulated?"

Set had sat idly as he watched the world around him. With his losing many followers in the many years since he was painted as the villain of Egyptian history, or at least, one of the greater villains. He had no other choice. The chaos remained, and it was still his. But without the followers, there was no notion that such chaos' were brought by him. He once had been a hero, to some, to many, before he was driven insane by his siblings. His sister-wife who drove him down that path. Or had they? Maybe it was all just made up, as many things seemed to be. Leaning back, he dropped his head back and grasped the back of his seat with his hands, watching the sky for now before someone came to him, asking to sit. âNo.â The chaotic, but still humorous god said with a deadpan tone to his voice. Just to see how the other might react, most people were offended easily by such things, which excited Set, honestly.

Set stood watching her for a moment. She didn't seem to think he was all that serious, rarely was he 'serious', except, he certainly was right now. As it seemed she was going to decline he raised his eyebrows listening to her complain.
"Well it was a shot anyway. I don't know. I just really find it funny at the moment. It's not like a lot of people go around licking strangers, it's hilarious to see how some react, especially when it's violent." He shrugged, glancing around.
As she went on, a dull look came onto his face "You don't seem like your much interested in anything, being punch in the face might be good for you." Set muttered in a whisper under his breath then looked up, smirking again "Well it's not fun if I do. Since I could easily beat him. But you- now, that would be entertainment." Reaching his hand back he reached behind her back "No. You do it. Or I'll cut your eyes out of your head." He threatened, not looking toward her, staring toward the new target.
Sophia watched as Set licked at where she licked him as if it was something that happened to him everyday. Her expression was incredulous, and her jaw dropped for a moment when he suggested she lick someone else.
Surely he couldnât be serious? What benefit would he get from it? Oh waitâŠthe chaos. The drama of her doing something so beyond the pale to someone else, and their emotional distress from it.
âWhy would I do that? And what is with you and licking, anyway?â Sophia asked him suspiciously. âIâm not looking to get punched, thanks all the same. Why donât you go lick him, if youâre so keen?â

Raising his eyebrows at her as she stood there, clearly debating with herself on what she was going to do, here. He thought about what else he could do with his time while he was here, aside from lick people, that is. There was plenty he could do. He could be very annoying, of course. He liked to be annoying, usually. It was like a breath of fresh air, because it often did bring about other situations, like a fight, if he was really annoying.
As she spoke he grinned still, flicking his tongue and making a click noise " There we go-" As she leaned in to lick him on his face, getting his mouth, he pulls back when she is finished "Oh, see, naughty." His nose curled slightly as he said this. Licking his lips then he lapped up her slobber and swallowed with out a care "You should now lick someone else. Hm? Pass it on..." He tempted, pointing toward a random man.
Typically, Sophia was extremely logical, rarely acting on pure emotion. And yet, Set was literally making her see red and frankly not care about the consequences. What that said about either of them, she had no idea.
âWhat the actual..fine. You win. Just remember, you like chaos and you asked for it.â Sophia informed Set as she stood on tiptoe and licked his face, right over his mouth.
There. Letâs see how he liked that.

He lift his eyes a bit before looking back down on her. Then gave a cocky little shake of his head, just the slightest of one however. Hearing what she had to say he snorted, smirking still, amused, trying not to laugh as she said that "Go ahead. I'd like to see it." Lifting his hands up, he turned them over as he gave a shrug "You're not wrong. It does."
"Chaos happens even when you don't. That's the fun part. When you don't want it. And it still happens anyway." He reveled in it, of course. Being that it was his main thing, amongst storms. Crossing his arms still, he leans toward her "Go ahead, and give a lick. Just imagine I'm a chaos lollipop."
Sophia was trying to keep up with Setâs logic, she really was. And it did make sense in a way, with the whole ecosystem part. But it was his smirk and how smug he was that drove her a tiny bit mental.
âBut you licked my face. Would you like it if I licked your face? Chaos happens when everyone does the fuck they want.â she grumbled a bit.
