Cobweb Movie Ending Explained (In Detail)
The fact that clichés are played with is now almost a cliché itself in horror films. But the scary film COBWEB takes on this task entirely without blinking an eye and creates a scenario that loses all predictability due to its surprising developments and turnarounds and suddenly strikes an unusually dramatic note in the genre. The fact that little Peter (Woody Norman) hears knocking in the walls…

Just wanted to talk a bit about what could have happened if Seto had accepted the offer that Duke made to him in Season Three: Chapter 14.
Spoilers if you aren't caught up with all of Season Three so far.
At this point in the story, Seto has multiple options for what to do and where to go. The Bakuras are offering adoption and he has this whole inheritance that he could take and then he's got Duke offering to let him move in. I adore all of these possibilities, but they're mutually exclusive, so only one could happen. If Seto accepted Duke's offer, things would go kind of like this.
Seto would surrender most of his inheritance. He would probably take a chunk of the liquid assets and abdicate the rest (including Adina). He doesn't want to be part of the Kaiba family or legacy. He's just going to take what he can to take care of him and his brother, and dip out. And he would do this while making the whole thing remain a secret: nobody gets to know, nobody can find out, the info just gets locked up tight. Joey still knows, but he doesn't tell because Seto swore him to secrecy.
So Mokuba and Seto move in with Duke, and Seto insists on splitting all costs evenly; he's still working, he's not taking charity from his friend. No, he's going to invest the funds he got—after getting a nice computer for himself and doing something to treat Mokuba, because you know his brother has been through so much. Duke and Seto share a bed in Duke's room, and Duke's office gets converted into a bedroom for Mokuba. All three of them get along really well. Mokuba gets taken for a ride on Duke's bike a couple of times, Seto and Duke cook together, and Duke kind of disappears sometimes at night without saying where he's going, but it's none of Seto's business, right? And KaibaCorp reverted back to breng a weapons company because the execs decided that was more profitable then children's card games, so Seto is still working on his own video game—yeah, do you remember that back from Season Zero? When he would go to school early to work on coding his own game on the school computer? He gets to start working on that game again, and at this point he's trying to get a demo made that's good enough to get him hired at the Pegasus-free Industrial Illusions (or alternatively SchroederCorp if that doesn't work out).
Duke eventually sees his scars, because of course he does, it's hard to hide that for so long when you live together and share a room. The two get so comfortable together that Seto starts to think maybe he does feel romantically for Duke? Maybe? And Joey doesn't like that at all, but Seto is completely blind to Joey's affection. So then they reach the stage where those two can be sitting on the couch together, Joey's arm around Seto's shoulders, Duke and Joey glaring at each other like true romantic rivals, while Seto is oblivious to it all and is just tapping away on his computer like, "Hm, yes, I do think this is a better way to treat object collision in this digital environment."
And Seth is facepalming so hard at all of the awkward teenage romantic tension but trying desperately not to meddle

Some will have more than others if I can’t decide or they have a larger catalog of characters. Sorry if I spell names wrong. This actually turned out much longer than I expected, but have you seen my name? I like a lot of them! And this barely scratches the surface of my subscription list. Nothing is in any order.

Republicans roast Democrats in trying to ban ‘Chiefs,’ Native-American mascots in NY schools
Republicans are planning to attack their Democratic opponents over New York’s effort to force Massapequa to drop its Chiefs mascot as part of a ban on Native-American imagery in school logos. The GOP sees the mascot controversy as another example of Democratic-run Albany pushing fringe issues, and wants them to pay a political price for it.“We have a lot of chiefs in volunteer fire departments in New York,” said John McLaughlin, a pollster for New York Republicans and President President Trump — also known as the commander-in-chief.“Hochul and the Democrats should focus on improving reading and math and not indoctrinating our students,” he said.McLaughlin noted that Hochul is already unpopular on Long Island — she has a 55% unfavorable rating in the New York suburbs compared to 36% favorable in a recent Siena College poll. She is up for reelection next year. The comments come after US Secretary of Education Linda McMahon visited Massapequa on Friday and threatened to bring a civil rights case against the Empire State for forcing the high school to ditch its mascot. The event was coordinated by Nassau County Executive and Trump pal Bruce Blakeman, who is up for re-election this fall.“Denigrating whole communities like Massapequa and Wantagh is not a good look for Governor Hochul, who seems hell bent on making as many enemies as she can on Long Island,” Blakeman, who also is also eying a run for governor next year, told The Post Sunday.Blakeman’s Democratic opponent for county executive, Seth Koslow said, “School pride matters, but it’s hard to believe this is the top concern of the federal government right now.”The New York Board of Regents’ and state Education ordered schools to ban Native American mascots back in 2023. The members of the education policy-making board are appointed by the Democratic-controlled state legislature. The National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee is using the controversy to tar Democratic incumbents up for re-election next year on Long Island and elsewhere, including Reps. Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen.“It’s another day that ends in “y,” so obviously Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen’s Democrat Party is more concerned with demonizing a high school mascot than lowering taxes and costs for Long Island families,” said NRCC spokeswoman Maurenn O’Toole.“Democrats are completely missing the plot, and voters will hold Suozzi and Gillen accountable for their utterly foolish, destructive, and out of touch agenda next fall.”But Suozzi told The Post Sunday, “I support the Massapequa Chiefs.”Suozzi said Republicans are engaging in cheap politics to change the subject.“This is nonsense, and just another distraction from national Republicans. Congressman Suozzi supports the Massapequa Chiefs, but not the petty partisan politics that people can’t stand,” said Suozzi senior campaign adviser Kim Devlin.“National Republicans should spend their time reducing prices, negotiating a bipartisan fix on immigration, lowering their own proposed record-breaking deficits, and protecting people’s healthcare—not cutting it. Congressman Suozzi has always stood with our communities, and no amount of desperate distortion will change that.”Rep. Gillen also said Albany officials should lay off the Massapequa chiefs.“Congresswoman Gillen believes that school districts should be the ones to decide their mascots and logos, not state or federal bureaucrats,” a Gillen spokesperson said.“She is far more worried about the actual issues Long Islanders care about: preserving the middle class, the skyrocketing cost of living and our national security. We should be working in a bipartisan fashion to address those things.”State Democratic Party chairman Jay Jacobs, a close ally of Hochul who also is the Nassau County Democratic leader, said Trump and the GOP are trying to deflect from their unpopular policies in DC by focusing on mascots.“This is a Republican distraction. The Democrats have not made this an issue,” Jacobs insisted.“The Republican

D and U bütte :D
Hellooo Maus <33
D - A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t: I can’t think of anything explicit but most of the recent grey’s couples annoy me but I don’t really wish I liked them as much as I wish they would just…not be a thing (cough Jo and link cough) maybeeee Stefan and Caroline in tvd bc I find Stefan grating and LOVE klaroline
U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites
1. Cristina Yang, grey’s anatomy. She’ll always be my favorite character in anything ever probably. She’s who I want to be when I grow up, tbh. She’s just so self assured and aware of her goals and wants in life and doesn’t change them even for the people she loves. But she’s still kind and funny good hearted.
2. Peeta Mellark, thg. Another long time favorite. He’s just. So kind. But also so funny and sarcastic with such a dry sense of humor. I cherish him with all my heart.
3. One I very rarely talk about: Jessica Darling from the Jessica Darling book series. I love imperfect, judgy, sometimes downright awful teens. I love her. She’s so self involved and flawed but throughout the five books you get to see her grow up and learn and find priorities other than herself. She (and her books) are my comfort, my ‘I need to feel at home reads,’ if that makes sense.
(honorary mentions go out to katniss herself, natasha romanoff, rachel berry from glee, stiles stilinski from teen wolf, Kate Beckett from castle, Mare Barrow from the red Queen series, and Devlin, donia, and Seth from the wicked lovely series)

What I'm About
Hi there, hello, I'm Rose and I'm mainly here to reblog fanart/shitposts, talk about my ships, and post about my fanfiction. I've limited this blog to my primary fixation (Yugioh DM) but you might rarely see me reblog something for another fandom. I'm a multishipper, find my ship list HERE.
@rosehawk-writings is my side blog for collecting fic snippets, previews, old WIPs, and just random pieces of my writing.
Have I mentioned that I'm head writer and co-designer of an in-progress indie game? Check out some of the characters at @songsofthaiya now! If you like what you see, give the blog a follow.
I've attached my main tags to this post for easy searching, and I'll explain them all below (including primary fanfics). Underlined titles are AO3 links.
Rose Talks
Random personal posts, or just general thoughts about things and also stuff.
Adventures in Autocorrect
My phone's autocorrect is the dumbest in the world. This is me sharing some of the worst examples. Have a little giggle, mates.
Musings / Headcanon
The tags for when I'm just talking about characters, headcanons, theories, or just commenting on odd canon details.
My Writing
A tag used on any of my posts where I share fanfic previews, chapter/fic updates, or chats about my writing. Sub/related tags: snippet, fanfic preview, deleted scenes, my fanfiction, fanfic update.
Scaleverse AU
My newest Puppyshipping series. Complete with part-dragon Joey, Kaiba seeking redemption, the awkwardness of a first relationship, and learning what love really means. Also kinky dragon smut. Only one fic so far, but I've got eight more planned. Uses the "skin to scales" tag for more casual posting and mini updates and "Scaleverse AU" for all the serious/major stuff.
Rock Bottom AU
A series I started in 2016, abandoned for six years because writers block, and have returned to. I'm working on rewriting the earliest bits to make them better and less cringe. I use this tag for the chapter updates, commissioned art, or just things that really remind me of the AU.
In short, it's an AU where I fixed Ryou's family, gave Seto the Millennium Rod (w/ Priest Seth in it), and made everything else ten times worse. If you like angst, whump, and dark themes, you might enjoy it. I'm going through all six Yugioh anime seasons, currently on Season Three. Please ask me about it, it's my magnum opus. 🙏 But it's over 200k words currently and not everyone's taste, and that's fine. If it is a fic that you read and enjoy, though, I would love love love to chat. ❤️
Power of Three (fic)
My Mumbleshipping longfic (also started in 2016, same deal as Rock Bottom). Dedicated to one of my favorite rare pairs (Seto Kaiba x Duke Devlin x Ryou Bakura), it's a little bit of a sandbox and a slow-burn and a soap opera all in one, but unlike Rock Bottom, things only get slightly worse before they get better. 😜 Features a very angsty Kaiba (apparently I don't know how to write any other kind), a Duke that's got his shit together, and a Ryou that's learning to heal and just be happy. ❤️

Ian’s Blog 22nd December 2024
At about 1 hour and 5 minutes into this radio show you can hear my Mellotron themed Christmas song which was mixed and mastered by Lord Zarquon
All he wants for Christmas is a Mellotron
So I’ve written this song for Lord Zarquon
The Moody Blues had one and he wants one too
Though they’re expensive you know that’s true
He’s got lots of keyboards but you’ll hear him complain
That the price of a Mellotron is rather insane
And just before my song you can hear a tune by Vinny Peculiar called All He Wants For Christmas Is A Gibson Flying V which mentions Brixham with the line a holiday in Brixham with my stupid family.
Here is the full list of the songs that were played on the show

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
Chapter 9: Losing Battles
Summary: Yugi has a nightmare, Atem sings a song, and Kaiba doesn’t take his own advice
After WAY TOO LONG, I’M BACK!!! Please enjoy this chapter, it was a long-time coming!!
Yugi’s mind was roused by the sound of his own miserable groan and the aching in every inch of his body. He peeled his eyes open, a difficult task considering they were practically welded shut, only to find he had been better off keeping them closed. The world blurred together into an abstract smudge of colors, but somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew that the colors weren't the inside of his shell. Through the myriad of nonsense attacking his senses, there was a soft pressure around one of his hands.
“You’re awake! Thank the gods you’re awake!”
A voice. Whose voice was that?
Read the rest on Ao3!
