I like this game.

And I think you might, too. lol. It's called Voices of the Void, and it's based off Signal Simulator. The premise is you're a researcher working in a remote satellite array, trying to locate and decipher signals from deep space. There's some funky stuff that goes on like alien encounters (and even a fun reference to maxwell the cat).

Best part is, it's free to play if you can't afford to pay for it. Otherwise it's pay w/e you want!

Nothing feels the same does it? You feel it too. The wind blows the wrong way, flowers smell slightly less, the birds scream. A constant hum fills the sky.

Nour Osman disappeared on the 16th of April 1983 at the blink of the eye, and her cousin, Lucky Newman never managed to let go. Johnny Newman was 46 years old by the time of the accident. Lucky ran for help, but by the time the paramedics arrived, his father's body was nowhere to be found. Lucky never let go of this either.

Now living with his uncle, Lucky tries to recover from losing both his father and his cousin, but something inside him tells him they're not really gone. At least not forever. A hum guides him constantly, a familiar owl speaks in riddles and a computer screams for help.

its important to remember that long term chronic pain rewires your brain so even after you find a treatment plan that relieves some or all of that pain, you're still gonna have days where you wanna tear all your hair out.

For those unaware, all three of you by this point, it’s a style of horror that purposefully uses the look of VHS tapes and old technology to make a strong, haunting atmosphere. It’s been a huge thing online for a few years now, helped by the popularity of works like Local58 and Gemini Home Entertainment. It was only a matter of time before this style would wind up in games, and we have a game here directly inspired by those two series (as revealed in the art book you can unlock after finishing the game). Heck, there’s even a handful of youtube style analogue horror videos you can unlock in the game itself, where the Gemini Home Entertainment influence shines through incredibly strong.
