This a weird and mildly hard post for me to make cause I'm open about being an Ares devotee to my friends and that's about it. But I don't know feels kinda important to me make? If that makes sense i guess.
I start working with Ares 4 years ago now, I'd love to say I've been consistent with it but definitely haven't, but even the like year and half period where I didn't actively work with him, I could never take down his alter, it felt rude and wrong, cause it always feels like he's here. Ares means a lot to me, every time I've time stumbled he's been there reminding me that things get better, that i got this, encouraging me to stand up for myself cause god knows I'm horrible about it. He's felt very farherly to me, I know every experience with deities is different, but mine has always felt fatherly, like helping guiding hand. He absolutely calls me on my shit, constantly, but he also doesn't get mad when I'm being a little shit, i swear i can almost hear the exasperated sigh every time I try and argue about something, and yes I know i know it is dumb to argue with a deity, I get this but I actually feel safe to argue, which is weird well weird for me, cause I don't argue with anyone, I just like shut up and don't say anything, so fucking wild i feel safe to do it. He's just so comforting, that feels like simplecation of how it feels, and he's just very very important to me, and there's basically no room left on his alter bc I keep putting stuff that reminds me of him on said alter, cause when I see something I think he might like I'm like ooo, this is going on his alter.
So this is i guess just a very long post explaining what Ares means to me, and that I'm very thankful he came into my life

Movie - The Diploment
Cast - John Abrahem, Sadia Khatib. Revethi, Sharib Hashmi and Kumad Mishra
 Director- Shivam Nair
 Duration - 2 Hours and 17 Minutes
 Where To Watch - Cinemas
The Diplomat is inspired by the life of  Uzma Ahmed. The movie starts with an innocent woman arriving at the Indian embassy, where she meets an Indian Diplomat, J.P Singh (John Abrahem ), and requests refuge. Uzma (Sadia Khatib) claims to be an Indian citizen and asks J, P to help her and how J, P handled the matter and will Uzma cames back to her country.
Highlights
• Blends excitement and suspense with the simple screenplay. • The storyline is filled with thrill and tension, highlighting potential government reactions. • The production value is exceptional, maintaining a budget Bollywood feel. • The intense background score fits the movie's tone. • Director Shivam Nair delivers a thrilling, tension-filled movie. • The acting performances by John Abraham and Sadia Khatib are impressive. • Supported by Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, and Revethy.
Review
The story is interesting to hear, and how it has been molded into a screenplay takes it to the next level at the same time a certain kind of simplecity in the screenplay is presented by the director most simply. The other beauty of the screenplay is the way all these happen, which looks very convincing, like in the first scene when Uzma reaches the Indian embassy and tells J. P. everything that happened to her. On the contrary, J.P. questions her on the other; he also thinks that Uzma is not a threat to the country. All this scenario happens in the first 30 or 40 Minutes of the movie and sets the tone right for the movie at the same time also creates curiousty in audiance's mind and the way all this merged into a screenplay creates an excitement.
Such movies where a person from one country is stuck in another country totally relies on the screenplay as the stroy is just like a line from point A to Point B where a point A is the country where the victim is stuck and point where the Point B the victim's home country So in such stories, the journey from point A to point B becomes important and the journey should be filled with elements like thrill. Tension and director Shivam Nair balance all these elements wonderfully. If something like this actually happens, how will the government react to this, and how will everything fall in place all these showcase as realistic and simple way as possible
The production value of the movie is exceptional and maintains the feel of watching a good budget Bollywood movie without any extra masala. Coming to other aspects like Backroundscore is intense and suits the tone of the movie. In direction, Shivam Nair shines once again after Special Ops. Being regarded as "One of most watched Indian shows on OTT" proved once again his capability as a director by making a movie with filled elements like thrill and tension and dialogues that also support the story.
In the Acting department, John Abraham delivered the role of J, P, Singh. Truly shines in the role of a diplomat who uses his communication skills to solve a serious national problem. Delivered an impectful performence. To those who doubt his acting skills, he gave a solid reply in Diplomat. Sadia Khatib as Uzma also delivered a storng performence. In the role of a sacred and nervous Indian girl, along with these two.  The movie has a bunch of talented actors, such as Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi, and Revethy, who provided much-needed support to the movie.  READ MORE

I don't like Endeavor either, but I think it's weird when people want him to die a violent death or something like wouldn't that traumatize his kids even more 🙈 I'm not caught up with the manga, but I remember seeing that a lot lmao
Yeah ok like ok as someone who comes from a similar 🏡 life one thing the writer (blanking on his name) well actually was noting that each kid approached their relationship with him and their abuse differently. They don’t want him to die. He’s their dad like relationships are complicated no I’m not defending him or what he’s done but relationships are complicated and the idea that everyone in the family wants him dead is an over simplecation of abusive relationships and their characters as a whole. If you want the characters to be multidimensional you have to let them have conflicting and contradictory feelings like..shockingly the writer acknowledged the nuanced views within the family I think it’s a disservice to the narrative, characters, and theme to simplify any part of this story like again as someone from that background it’s complicated let it be complicated arguing that there’s only one right way to feel just makes other abuse survivors feel worse.
