I’m very confused,

I don't know what animal Belphegor is. I thought at first she was a sheep. But then, I’m seeing on other social media platforms that she’s a llama.

So these are llamas, right? Belphegor does have the resemblance of a llama because of the long fluffy neck and hair.

But then.. she has horns. Her horns retract so maybe it's just a Hell thing, y’know. Them being demons and all. Then I thought, “Oh, you dumb fool! She’s probably an alpaca. They probably have horns.”

They don't. Actually, Belphagor could be more of an alpaca considering how fully she is. However, by looking at her side profiles, her nose/snout looks more like a llama than an alpaca.

And then there’s the theory that she has multiple arms like Beelzebub. So maybe, this is a hard maybe, she’s a hybrid of both a llama and a sheep or goat.

I’m saying goat because, hello, we’re in Hell. And also the fact certain goats have long ears like hers. Same goes with some sheeps.

I like to think she’s one of these goats/sheep to resemble the black parts of her hands and the end of her ears. Although, I think it’d make more sense if she’s a goat ngl. Even before we saw Belphegor’s current design, fannon art is often her as a goat.

So I decided to google what does a llama and goat symbolise.

I see that the llama and the goat resembles her perfectly.

The llama symbolises community, endurance and gentle strength. Just by looking at the Sloth Ring, they have a sense of community, unlike other rings. They probably have a lot of endurance when you see the type of jobs they have. Gentle kindness? I don't know, maybe it's part of her personality. We’ll probably see more of that in the future.

The goat on the other hand symbolises fertility, health and prosperity. Health definitely, Belphegor has a whole hospital and makes medicine/drugs for the whole of Hell. Prosperity, well, I wouldn’t say with confidence that the Sloth Ring is the most prosperous compared to other rings, but it definitely looks nicer and more progressive than other rings.

Fertility, I don't know. I don't know if Belphegor is a mom but she does seem to give off mom vibes. Also, it might not be fertility as in able to conceive children, I’m thinking fertility as in productiveness. Belphegor does produce and provide a lot of things. Her people do too when it comes to service.

If she is somewhat a llama, I’d like to think her spit has some kind of healing effect. Maybe half the medicine in Hell has her spit in it, disgusting I know, but it makes a nice headcanon. Or, maybe when she spits, she spits out candle wax. And whenever the candle wax spit lands anywhere, a candle grows or a flame erupts.

I’d be cute that when she made her first hellborn, all she did to differentiate her hellborns from other hellborns was spit on their heads to make a candle grow. 🕯️

You turn up the volume on your wireless headphones, as you get off the bus and walk up the long driveway to your godmother Queen Bee's estate.

Your head is down and your thoughts are trying to sort themselves out. Today had been a fucking crappy day at school…for many reasons. You had always been one of the outcasts in your year.

It had never really bothered you because unlike Queen Bee, you rarely bask in the center of a group…or a party.

You prefer to observe, take mental notes and draw conclusions. Life in hell wasn't always good or great, but you have people around you that you can trust to make this infinity a little more bearable.

Queen Bee and her boyfriend Vortex were just two of your chosen group of people and you love spending time with them. (Vortex is actually a total girls dad and always wants to give you advice and tips or convince you to try his favorite sport!) and Queen Bee is the best godmother you could wish for.

Sure, she says straight away what she thinks, is the sin of gluttony and celebrates a lot…really a lot of parties…but she always has an open ear for you.

You just don't want to burden the people , who are close to you with…annoying things.

Everyday life in high school was just…bullshit.

The teachers were stressed out, the girls who already didn't like you…gossiped about you again and the boys in gym class made some stupid comment…that you were just a weak girl…a weak demon arctic fox girl who was a coward.

Just to say one thing…the boys had locked you in the gym (the gym teacher had already left and assigned a small group to clean up and lock up) as a final demonstration of your low value as a little teenage arctic fox demon…you had been part of that group).

To make a long story short, just because you were the weak arctic fox demon, you were locked up and left behind. The boys had filmed your panicked face through the transparent window to the gym locker room and apparently made a live stream. And you? You couldn't do anything except desperately shake the locked door and see the mean expressions in the boys' eyes.

You weren't weak or... worse just because you're a girl... hell, no matter how you get down here, demands adjustment... it's not an easy life, but you've found your place... only the insecurities you carry around with you have been further reinforced by this action.

Finally, thanks to your small size, you were able to climb through a ventilation shaft into the school's hallways and from there get back to freedom... you took the bus towards the city center, changed twice the bus and then ended up at the driveway to your aunt's property.

You had known the large property since the early days of your childhood.

Not only because the property is like a second home in its luxurious design…but also because you helped behind the scenes to plan Queen Bee's legendary parties and even practiced some of the dance choreographies with Bee.

Only…your aunt and her friends had better things to do than listen to your suffering about school bullying, humiliation and insecurity…you had already answered your parents' questions - school is OK - you could pretend that everything was okay for Queen Bee, right?

No.

Because as soon as you look into the face ,of the sin of gluttony, the tears gather in your eyes again, your foxtail starts to tremble and your entire posture seems intimidated.

You are not afraid of your aunt…but the total weight of the bullying action hits you directly with full force…simply because Queen Bee's eyes shine so much , when she sees you…because she likes having you around.

"Honey Bee what happened? You look like a fucking mess?"

You look down at the floor and try to hide it somehow, but when Queen Bee repeats her question, Vortex is also lured into the entrance hall of the mansion.

"School was just stupid…", you said, a poor attempt at distraction.

"You're shaking, kiddo… seems to have been more than just stupid," Vortex said carefully, standing next to Queen Bee to give you an equally worried look.

You sniff once, overwhelmed, and sit down on the edge of the bee-shaped fountain.

"I'm… just weak and… the boys in gym class said a girl can't do this sport and…", you were interrupted by an angry growl from Queen Bee.

"All this girls are weaker because bla bla bullshit has been getting on my nerves for years! What do these people actually think? Performance depends on the fucking gender? We women are damn powerful, sweety!"

You shrug your shoulders and Vortex just shakes his head too. Performance shouldn't depend on gender… no matter if you're a girl or a boy… what makes these classmates so special that they can judge you like that?

"And… if I'm not powerful enough, Auntie Bee?"

"What do you think? You're the smartest arctic fox demon I know… my perfect party planning assistant and my favorite godchild!"

"I'm your only godchild!"

"More girl power yeeeah"

You try to smile, but you can't.

"There…..there's something else……after the boys said that, they locked me in the school gym…."

There was silence for a moment before something changed in Queen Bee's aura.

The fire/lava element that surrounded her became darker in color and she bared her teeth threateningly.

"WTF! Vortex! We're going to pay those wanna bee idiots a visit! They picked on the wrong woman!" Queen Bee growled and she enlarged her appearance with her abilities so that she looked even more threatening in her angry state.

"Auntie Bee… what if that only makes it worse?" you said meekly.

"They locked you up and bullied you because you're just a weak female arctic fox in their eyes, which is bullshit! Some of the most famous seven deadly sins are damn women! YOU deserve an apology and those assholes deserve expulsion!"

Queen Bee changed her body size back to standard, grabbed your hand with one hand and Vortex's arm with the other to guide you both to the exit of the estate.

"Call your parents Honey Bee, they will certainly agree…..and in the in the Name of Lucifer - if these boys have the nerve, to deny their actions…..it's been a long time since I've seen a few heads roll, but fucking yes, I will stand up for your rights!", Queen Bee growled almost belligerently as you dialed your parents' number on your cell phone.

No more heads rolled that day, but Queen Bee made it clear to the boys that their behavior was real bullshit and they must also expect to be expelled from school - thanks to the influence of the deadly sin.

And this success was almost as sweet as….

Like…..

Yes, exactly! - Like floating honey.

I don’t understand why the sinners are only allowed in the Pride Ring. Aren’t they supposed to suffer for their sins in the corresponding ring?

(Just that you know, I know nothing about Dante’s version of hell. Only that the Hazbin hotel Hell and his are sort of similar)

so does Hell not have any climates that are cold and get snow? the imps definitely don't respond well to icy climates.

Pride Ring- based on Los Angeles; smoggy and somewhat warm with occasional acid rain

Wrath Ring- based on Texas; very hot and dry desert with lava and volcanoes

Gluttony Ring- based on tropical climates; warm and humid with lots of jungle plants and sunshine

Greed Ring- based on Jersey; heavily polluted and medium temperatures

Lust Ring- based on Portland OR; rainy and medium temps

Sloth Ring- based on magic cloud imagery; fluffy pink clouds and waterfalls and crystals

That just leaves the Envy Ring, which we have been told is at least somewhat aquatic.

It could be a cold ocean like the far northern Atlantic near Canada but it seems like most of Hell is moderate to warm temperatures.

Who Kept Fizz and Blitz apart?

We've got at least three candidates on who could've kept Fizz and Blitz apart after the fire though I have at least one extra theory considering the medical professionals in Sloth.

In the episode Oops, Blitz mentioned that "they" said Fizz didn't want to see Blitz while Fizz was told by "them" that Blitz never came to see him in the first place. Someone was keeping these two apart intentionally and it makes their split even more tragic since Fizz would've forgiven Blitz or not been as angry at Blitz if he had been allowed to see Blitz. And Blitz probably would've had a better support system if he was allowed to see Fizz.

I want to put arguments for and against each theory to see where we could go from here and what we'll eventually learn about the truth when these two learn it.

Culprit 1: Mammon

Argument: Considering the placement of this sign in the episode Oops, it would be very easy to predict that Mammon would be the one that could have kept these two apart but also have a motive. Let's say he got word of Fizz's talents at the Buckzo Imp Circus through word of mouth and talent scouts. He probably had an eye on Fizz and would've recruited him to be his latest cashcow. He would have the money to give Fizz prosthetics that would help him perform again. Or hire Ozzie to give Fizz the prosthetics which would give a reason on how they met and fell in love. He wouldn't want Fizz to get distracted so he probably ordered any nurses in Sloth or wherever he was recovering to keep anyone out and isolate Fizz, making him easy to manipulate.

Counterargument: Mammon can be a bit of a dumbass so if Fizz auditioned to be his next star after he got his prosthetics, he probably treated him nice to start but the abuse would gradually happen over time. We don't know exactly how long Fizz was working for him but it's enough to make Fizz feel self-conscious about still being good enough to work for him. And he probably would've said something if he knew about Blitz trying to see his former friend. Mammon probably met and had Fizz working for him after he recovered.

Culprit 2: Cash Buckzo

Argument: I love this jackass but he's still a greedy jackass that cares very little about his own son while treating Fizz like the golden child. BUT I could see his ONE redeeming quality that he cares very deeply for his wife, Tilla. Using his son to steal riches from the Goetia and emotionally manipulating him so they could get treasures that he could sell to keep their family afloat. And I'll give him credit that he was disturbed enough by Paimon wanting to buy his son (at first) for Stolas. But his favoritism for Fizz and neglect of Blitz (we don't know how he treated Barbie) could've manifested into resentment for the accident his son caused with the fire. Buckzo not only lost his livelihood and wife but the kid he wished was his son was damaged so he could've kept the two of them apart out of spite and grief from losing the woman he loved.

Counterargument: He's also a bit of a dumbass and the alcohol might've scrambled his brain enough where he wouldn't be able to think of keeping Blitz and Fizz apart. And from the phonecall Blitz had in the episode Unhappy Campers, Blitz does seem to be on speaking terms enough with his father that he'd actually call him to try and figure out where Barbie was. And I think Buckzo would've been dealing with the loss of the circus as well as his wife so as much as he probably would've wanted to get back at his son and protect Fizz from getting hurt worse (since I think he does care about Fizz in some capacity), the grief he was going through probably would've made him unable to actually do it.

Culprit 3: Barbie Wire

Argument: We know very little about Barbie and what we do know is from the few mentions of her we've had in the show and pictures. But I think if her attitude towards her brother is anything to go by, I could believe she tried to separate Blitz and Fizz because of her own issues. We know she wasn't there during the fire and Blitz mentioned to Fizz that Fizz was all he had left. He lost his mother, his father neglected him, and there was probably a growing separation between Blitz and Barbie that hurt Blitz deeply, no doubt her drug addiction. When the fire happened, it seemed to happen when Blitz and Fizz were in their mid to late teens. Barbie could've either been sent away to rehab or gone off on her own, not being happy with the circus life. Maybe she felt resentment that her mother was close to Blitz and wanted to find her own path that isn't being a twin. Maybe she was manipulated by her father into seeing Blitz as the weak link in the family. Or maybe she felt anger that Blitz couldn't save their mother even though he was there when she wasn't there. It's hard to say if she was close to Fizz like Blitz was but if she got her father's attitude, she probably could've kept both boys separated out of spite and grief. She's familiar enough with the staff at the rehab center in Sloth that she could tell them to keep Blitz and Fizz separated "for their own good". And she purposefully used Blitz's old name even though she started with his preferred name when they saw each other, intentionally hurting her brother. Who's to say she wasn't capable of hurting him before? Maybe she felt resentment at how close Blitz and Fizz were and thought Fizz deserved better. Or maybe the drugs caused her to act out.

Counterargument: I don't want to throw Barbie under the bus since we only got a brief appearance by her and I hope she and Blitz will reconcile in some way. If Blitz can make up with Fizz, he can certainly make up with his sister. Since she wasn't around during the fire, maybe her anger at Blitz not being able to save their mother as well as anger at herself for not being there. I could see her deflecting her own feelings of guilt and grief onto her brother, blaming him for everything like her father did. But I could also see her wanting to run away from her feelings; she probably wants to get close to her brother but she just can't face him since I think deep down, she knows that isn't fully Blitz's fault. An accident is still an accident and they were basically children when it happened; Blitz has suffered enough and Barbie probably is trying to cope on her own. Maybe there's even some resentment of being a twin to someone that isn't as good or the lesser twin, feeling like she has to be better than him. If that's the case, she probably would want to separate herself from her old life and lashes out whenever Blitz tries to reach out.

Culprit 4: Sloth's Medical Staff

Argument: Okay this one might be a bit of a stretch (and I'm only using Barbie's nurse to make a point) but despite how nice and relaxing Sloth is and it being a hub for medical care and rehab, it's still a ring of Sin. They have a lot of drugs and use people like Barbie to get drugs from Earth to Hell. They're going to have their selfish parts to them too. It takes five years to get a Hellbies shot for Loona and they have staff that are really lazy that Blitz was ready to shoot them when he was losing his patience. And while people do give Barbie's nurse the benefit of the doubt in wanting to keep Barbie from falling off the wagon by trying to talk Blitz out of seeking her out, even using his preferred name, they don't seem very good at keeping people in rehab that should still be there. Verosika got out because she was still "famous" but it's very likely she got out because the staff were neglectful and got paid off. Who's to say they didn't get paid off to keep Fizz and Blitz separate, saying that Fizz didn't want to see Blitz or Blitz never came to visit. and they only seem to really get their asses in gear when a high profile demon is seriously hurt (ie, Stolas). Since Fizz is famous, they probably could've kept him guarded away where Blitz couldn't visit.

Counterargument: As much as her methods were harsh, Barbie's nurse did seem like she was looking out for Barbie and Blitz in a way. And the goat doctor was probably the nicest character we've seen in Sloth even if he used a needle that scared poor Loona. Whether there's actual malicious intent or just incompetence, we still don't know too much about this ring or the medical practices in Sloth but it's at least interesting to think about.

* they do have ONE nice outfit they wear to Bee's party and its only reserved for then, but other than that they just wear their ripped, torn up, shoddy patchwork ass PJ's 24/7

* Constantly abused because they're lazy (really, they're just tired)

* Often goes days to a week without sleep cuz their owner is an asshole

* The only times they sleep (or try to) is at Bee's party, or Cade ( @tekedafox23 's hellhound oc) library when the noises from the party wakes them up or disturbs them too much

* Likes Bee cuz she's one of the only ones nice to them, and frequents Bee's party if their owner allows them to.

* Scared to death of Satan

* Likes Ozmodius too but also kinda sees him as a hypocrite, since he gives others shit (like Stolas) for dating an imp, meanwhile he's also dating one too, but overall they're "okay" with Ozzie, but doesn't respect him nearly as much as they do Bee

* Can and WILL take a nap whenever possible/allowed. Even on the fucking floor cuz hella sleep deprived

* Carries around a smol pillow everywhere so they can take naps

* Has the name of their owner basically branded across their back/by their shoulder blades- (Tried to draw them in Viv's artstyle and I think I did a somewhat decent job)

Inspired by Moscow, St Petersburg and the Volga River capital, Swan City is a major cultural hubbub in Sloth, famed for the Swan City Opera House and also various museums and galleries. It is also where the Cygnesis Castle ( which is by the River de Cygne and Duke Lohengrin and Gemory, another one of Stolas' older sisters, reside in ) is

Dreamcity

The administrative capital of Sloth boasts hotel and spa chains, as well as the Sloth Rehab and Hospital area. Dreamcity also has colorful magical clouds with floating houses built on top of those clouds.
