also. realized last night
#i converted to islam on november 2nd so many yrs ago now#there goes another year of being muslim alhamdulilah#... its been so many... like.. 8 1/2 .. 9? somewhere around there#its so odd to me to even call myself a revert by this point. im just muslim 🤷♀️ and frankly basically the same apart from some minor#things from other balkan muslims 🤷♀️#ive always held a bit of a dif. relation too tho from other reverts ive seen even from the beggining#hmm. its certainly been a journey for sure which im very thankful for. ive changed a lot ive grown a lot etc#but at times i do remember what it was like at first. not even bc it was islam in particular but because#feeling god in your heart truly for the first time after years of studying theology is......#something...#very very similar to doing psychadelics for the first time#.... people get confused at times why i never waiver on islam even tho i will critique things and dissect things and this and that and even#tho ultimately i believe in the truth of all religions bc there is only one god. different paths to same goal#but this one will forever have my heart

I hate when I say things like "oh I want an ipod classic but with bluetooth so I can use wireless headphones" and some peanut comes in and replies with "so a smartphone with spotify?" No. I want a 160GB+ rectangular monstrosity where I can download every version of every song I want to it and it does nothing except play music and I don't need a data connection and don't have to pay a subscription to not have ads and don't have popups suggesting terrible AI playlists all over the menus.
