I want to play Final Fantasy, how do you recommend getting into it?
im the wrong person to ask because ive only played 7! or maybe im the right person to ask because thats how i got into it. play 7. you can buy it on switch/consoles or steam or emulate the original playstation version.
further unimportant information: i played on switch and then transferred my saves to steam (u cant do this unless your switch is hacked) the switch version is very good i just wanted to play it on steamdeck so i could stream it on discord. since its so old you can stream it from steamdeck which is kinda awesome. theres also mods for the pc version, but the only mods i used (speedhacks, turn off encounters) are built into the switch/console version so theres really no difference! you can use graphical mods on pc but i think everything looks great already. i think the only difference is that as far as im aware, the translation for the ps1 version is slightly different than the pc and console releases. ive heard the pc one is generally better but fails in a few ways. but theres issues with both. theres also fantranslations but those also have issues. i went with buying the game on steam over emulating when i decided to play it on my deck because i wanted the same translation that i had been using, and the transcripts i could find online used the ps1 translation and i just wanted to be able to compare them! none of this is very important though. just get the game on whatever platform you prefer. just play ff7
in terms of the rest of the series i dont love jrpgs so i dont know if i will be playing them but 8 and 10 seem the most interesting to me for their stories. pre-5 ff dont seem to be talked about that much around non ff fans but they all have slightly different mechanics that might be interesting to you. obviously getting more modern as they go along. 6 is very highly regarded but lowkey i have the opinion its overrated for literally no reason at all. i think 9 is also very highly regarded. 11 is gone/became 14. 12 has interesting battle systems. 13 does not seem to be a good game but the main character is cloud strife but a girl? (fact check: cloud strife was always a girl) 14 is an mmo. 15 and 16 both seem like lowkey misogynistic garbage, not that any ff has been NOT misogynistic, but they just seem especially misogynistic which is wild considering that theyre the newest. and yeah thats my final fantasy overview

Finished Rivulet.
This is peak Rain World. The world design is just beautiful, the new locations are overwhelming and grandiose, the new mechanics are really fun, the atmosphere is somber and opressive, ending made me tear up
You really feel this world is dying. There is this sense of finality to everything. While the rain was more of a looming threat before, here it is everpresent. The story is one of the best in the game, the ending is very bitter sweet. The gameplay is also fun because it tests your skills as a player by giving you a speedhack and forcing you into a speedrun simulator.

Paging PCSX2 users:
I currently use version 1.6.0 and in Tekken 5, not only does the Arcade History game mode not display correctly (with Tekken 3 having no video output and showing a black screen), the Devil Within mode simply doesn't work. It says "now loading" and then sticks on a completely black screen where none of my inputs do anything.
I've tried looking for solutions online, I've tried turning off speedhacks entirely, and I've even tried downloading the latest nightly build and nothing seems to fix it. I've seen videos of people getting Devil Within to work in videos online so I know it can be done. Any help is appreciated

A free speedhack script for Crystal of Atlan has been released for the Speeder Scanner. It can increase your attack and movement speed by an unlimited amount. I believe the attack speed hack only works in story and solo missions, but I could be wrong. The movement speed hack should work everywhere. You can find the Speeder Scanner here. You can find the Crystal of Atlan speedhack script in Launcher's Marketplace. The instructions for using it are included with the script. Read the full article

This is where best Tarkov hacks and best CSGO cheats come into play. These tools can significantly improve your gaming experience, allowing you to dominate your opponents. But how do you ensure you're using the best cheats available?
Why Use Tarkov Hacks and CSGO Cheats?
Both Escape from Tarkov and CS:GO are known for their intense and strategic gameplay. In Tarkov, you must carefully plan your escape while managing inventory, health, and enemies. On the other hand, CS:GO relies heavily on tactical gameplay, quick reflexes, and sharp aim. For players who want to take their game to the next level, using the best Tarkov hacks or best CSGO cheats can provide a distinct advantage.
Features of the Best Tarkov Hacks
When searching for the best Tarkov hacks, it’s essential to focus on certain features that ensure both safety and effectiveness. Good hacks will offer:
Aimbot: This will give you an automatic targeting advantage, allowing you to land precise shots even in the most intense combat situations.
ESP: With an ESP (Extra Sensory Perception), you’ll be able to see enemy players, loot, and even hidden items through walls, making it easier to plan your next move.
Speedhack: Some cheats allow you to move faster than normal, giving you the ability to outmaneuver opponents or quickly escape tight situations.
No Recoil: This helps ensure your shots remain accurate, especially when engaging in long-range battles.
Why CS:GO Players Turn to Cheats
Similarly, CS:GO cheats are incredibly popular because they enhance the gaming experience by removing obstacles that hinder a player’s potential. Some of the most popular cheats include:
Wallhack: With a wallhack, you can see enemies through walls, giving you a massive tactical advantage.
Aimbot: Perfecting your aim becomes much easier with aimbots, which allow you to lock onto targets with precision.
Radar Hack: Radar hacks provide the ability to see the entire map, offering a distinct advantage over your opponents.
Triggerbot: This automatic shooting mechanism allows you to instantly fire when an enemy crosses your sights, ensuring quick eliminations.
Where to Find the Best Tarkov Hacks and CSGO Cheats?
Finding reliable and high-quality cheats can be a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be. One trusted platform for getting your hands on best Tarkov hacks and best CSGO cheats is Infirix. friday - saturday
having a friend over was really nice.
we just chatted a lot, work is tiring him out but he's holding up. someone there quit so he'll probably be there a bunch... too much... but hopefully they'll pull it back after a while.
mostly today we played games together, or i showed him or he watched me, and we looked at some weird and funny games. i played all of floigan brothers for him. terrible video game. also very funny, at least. it's so strange that a game that was trying to simulate emotionally manipulating someone so that way you can make him do what he wants, basically, is really annoying. a frustrating experience, totally uncharismatic game, uncharismatic characters, everything about it is so failure-bound, the fact it seems to be designed around the idea that it'd be so fun to play tag with your virtual brother in this hallucinatory junkyard, is baffling. it's maybe the most fake-game feeling video game ever. i can only say that not having played those new gacha games. like genshin. warframe too actually, those games seem sort of made up. it even had early examples of dlc... what a bizarre thing.
i also showed him maken x, which is very hard still, but fun. we found this other game too, napple tale? it's super cute i really love how it looks, and it plays fun too. it's probably something i'll keep playing since it's a good sort of jrpg for me to play... not super demanding, pretty and cute and kind of strange... the music is lovely too!! i love the music so much. look at the cover art for the game:

it's got everything i could want... it's got this thing going on where it's weirdly like a 1970s advertisement for some christmas ornaments, but it's also got a bit of a clamp thing going on... idk... that's beautiful to me. those things belong together, the cheap plastic-y world, all these weird pretty things floating in white space. it's perfect it's super moving gosh... it's so odd, these explosions of things related in feeling to tinsel, cheap and kitschy and oriented towards being lost in memories, flitting around the edge of a big nothing, falling in, shimmering, it reminds me of watching charlie brown specials around thanksgiving in elementary school, old projections of them, faded and brown in that 70s way and playing with lincoln logs, watching old anime at my grandma's house and not understanding any of the words, liking the images, mario 3 at my aunt's house. silly things that veer towards cheap in some way... maybe cheap makes no sense, but now-degraded, a particular feeling of dust on very old plastic, faded prints on cardboard, it's not really nostalgia, it's a sadness about those things, tiny minor things, yeah, it's how tiny those things are/feel, the emotional character of ornamental things to be discarded, pastimes and stuff meant to be disposed of, not being disposed, lingering, the act of the lingering things. i always liked those things. i always liked doilies, they were so intricate and pretty, and christmas lights, the very old ones my uncle kept, the way the plastic felt on my fingers and the way they smelled, they must have been toxic... it's that sort of thing. it's all in memory but it's not nostalgia, it's not even the past necessarily, this comes up a lot for me, sad tiny things, things that operate as wounds in right now, that alerts you to the woundedness of everything. i love them... cutting hearts out of deep red construction paper.
youtube
good song. i'm so tired... oh, one last thing, here is this gif i made from a game we played today also, the ring: terror's realm. very unbearable game and the music is awful. but this was funny, turning on the speedhack and watching the protagonist run around the room:
very tired now,
so,
byebye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
