I continue my trend of making custom birds of all my faves that I’m really annoying about. Behold… Birby Gangsta.

The pinstripes are thread I threaded onto each end & glued on the underside. Utterly grueling but it was ultimately worth it. The eyepatch is removable, with the designs on it and the tie being hand painted.

Fight Knight is the Spirit of Halloween.

So! A new Spirit Halloween location has opened up in Gotham, and the Batfam has decided to go shopping so they can prepare for Halloween.

Just because it's one of their busiest nights of the year doesn't mean they can't enjoy themselves while patrolling.

So the family walks in about a week before Halloween and spreads out to look for decorations or costumes to wear.

Its a fun trip, they buy their costumes, have a pleasant conversation with the manager about the holiday season, and go back home.

Then they actually put on their costumes and find out that they were either Cursed or Enchanted, because once put them on they are transformed them into the Costumes themselves.

Damien has become a Dog, after putting on a cheap dog costume at the insistence of his brothers. He's not unhappy at least.

Jason has been turned into a Zombie, though he has managed to restrain himself from eating his brother's Brains so far. He claims they look unappetizing.

Tim has been turned into Super Mario. He can't stop speaking in a bad Italian accent and has a huge mustache.

Dick has been turned into a Fairy Tale Princess after putting on the costume as a Joke. He has to admit though, he looks great as a Girl.

Even Bruce wasn't spared, and was turned into a Vampire after putting in some Plastic Teeth.

Taking off the costumes hadn't turned them back, leaving them stuck in their new forms.

Now they are all racing back to that Spirit Halloween to get answers as to what the hell just happened to them.

They hope Mr. Frank Knight has some answers for them.

theyre finally home!! big day for annoying people (me) i finally get to hold it in my hands 💞 watching spelldon go from just a concept in my head to a fully realized character (especially after all these years!!) has been such a fun ride and i feel very lucky to have been a part of it. the comic is so so fun and everyone who worked on it did a fangtastic job. this is Jack! you may have seen him in a recent magma i did with @starriegalaxy! i was inspired by Starrie's precious Head Chef Bot that i wanted to make my own S.T.A.F.F. Bot OC!

Jack is a S.T.A.F.F. Bot that suffered a head injury but was able to continue working, so in order to avoid getting deactivated, he makes himself useful and continues to rotate through the roster of S.T.A.F.F. Bot jobs in the Pizzaplex as a "jack of all trades". the head injury damaged his wires, which now hang exposed over his face (they're a little sensitive). this damage also disconnected him from the S.T.A.F.F. Bot network and altered the default S.T.A.F.F. Bot personality AI in him.

so now he's a grumbly guy with a weird voice and an acute awareness of what is going on with the Pizzaplex's animatronics. but without the ability to actually do anything about it, he just goes about doing his jobs until the inevitable day he goes offline.

rolling past temperamental glamrocks, glitched out S.T.A.F.F. Bots, and a nighttime attendant with a penchant for tearing apart S.T.A.F.F. Bots, Jack equips himself with a dufflebag of tools and a a fazerblaster that he always has at the ready

he's not part of a larger AU yet... i've had some ideas, but still thinking

Another toxic headcanon of mine is Melinoe "child-soldier who grew up in a tent sleeping on a floor mattress in a bog and fucks in the Woods" would have a very difficult time adjusting to living in the House of Hades. Don't get me wrong she'd think she would do well and maybe the first few weeks/months or so she's alright. But as time goes on and she realizes she can't see the phases of the Moon or Selene's touch on her brow or simply go out and pick up mushrooms in the rain I think she'll 100% understand why Zagreus tried so hard to reach the Surface. And honestly, I don't think Hades would force her to stay/get a job at the House.

Melinoe and Hades are very similar, personality wise. Hades's first impression of his daughter is her running into his cell on her way to defeat his Father, the centerpoint of his trauma and the person he should have defeated long ago and left in the past. She goes in, night after night, fixing his mistakes. After a while, he must see the parallel.

Hades tells Zagreus in the first game to enjoy it while he doesn't have the responsibilities weighing Hades down. One could argue it's part of the reason why he's so bitter (other than being Divorced and traumatized). There's a convo where Hades asks if Melinoe is well. When she doesn't have an answer for him, he apologizes profusely. His failures are leading his daughter to become him. No childhood, only soldier.

There's no way in Hell or Heaven that Hades is gonna offer her an administrative chamber job lest he turns her into him. If he asks anything of her postgame, it's only to spend some time in the Underworld tending Pomegranate trees with her mom and time with them as a family but that's it.
