Tsunami.

On raconte qu'on entend un tsunami avant qu'il n'arrive.

Un chuchotis lointain et soudain une déferlante emplit ma cage thoracique. Elle me broye de l'intérieur.

Essayer les pensées positives, ne pas se laisser submerger par l'irrationnel.

On ne meurt pas d'une crise de tachycardie.

Mon souffle devient court. Je ne peux plus respirer. Mon coeur s'accélère encore.

Et là, ça bascule, point de non retour, paroxysme.

Il va s'arrêter à aller si vite.

Je vais mourir si je ne n'arrive plus à respirer.

Mal dans la poitrine.

Un infarctus.

Je meurs ici et maintenant.

S'habiller, vite, si je dois aller à l'hopital.

Geste saccadés, rapides, désordonnés.

S'habiller pour être présentable aux urgences.

Un éclair de lucidité, se jeter sur les comprimés magiques, les prendre vite. Attaque de panique.

Parfois et souvent en ce moment c'est ma seule arme.

La mort est toujours là, imminente. Mais au loin, lentement, les pensées rationnelles reviennent.

- "C'est une attaque de panique, ça va passer.

- Non je meurs !

- Non tu ne meurs pas, tu vois.

- Mais je te dis que si !"

Doucement, mon cœur reprend son rythme, ma respiration se fait plus longue, plus profonde, la douleur est toujours là, vivable. Encore la sensation de manquer d'air.

Puis une évidence :

- "J'ai pas mouru, une fois de plus."

Je suis la naufragée d'une tempête interieure, propulsée par des vagues violentes, prise dans des courants contraires, aspirée vers les abysses, ballotée de ci, de là.

Je suis vivante mais épuisée, désorientée, sans force, vidée emotionnellement et physiquement.

Échouée sur le canapé mais vivante.

I would definitely view this as a more filler episode. It's incredibly difficult to watch post-Sunday. The Carson-shaped hollow is still raw and seeing his face in the opening credits always hurts.

There's a lot of Rodney being Rodney-both the good and the bad sides-which is always great, but the part that always gets to me is when the "red shirt" scientist is screaming at Sheppard to save him and Sheppard can't get to him. There is nothing worse for the kind of man Sheppard is than not being able to get to someone who needs him.

I of course love when the Queen is trying to control him and his face switches from pain to intensity when he sees Ronon. I love that he doesn't doubt Teyla for a moment. If she senses Wraith, then there are Wraith.

This is a fun episode that I always enjoy watching, but I also always start it with just a bit of resentment because Carson just died. Why are we exploring? Why are we not crying still?
