Friday, November 3: Megadeth, "Burn!"

Super Collider was entirely a self-inflicted disaster for Megadeth, a bad-faith effort by Dave Mustaine to chase a radio market that no longer existed that wasted the talents of Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover and ultimately drove both away from the band.  “Burn!” was actually one of the heavier tracks, with a bit of an early ‘90s soundtrack feel along the lines of “Angry Again”, but the chorus was lame and offered an early sign that Mustaine was losing his range (such as it was).  But the soloing was great as always, and even if Johnny K’s production was sterile, the same could be said about every Megadeth album over the last 20 years.  Again, “Burn!” was a mostly good track hampered by unforced errors.

WHUMPTOBER DAY 1: Search Party

I know it doesn’t look like it but it fits the theme XD this is from a current FM rp with Cry and everyone was looking for Alt andddd this was the result cuz he might be a bittt possessed- oops? HGHBJB

Alt’s line is because of their FM masks! Oli made a Dhole mask which is a south Asian canine and Oliver is a history nerd so he found out they used to be native to Korea and fell in love with them- and then I found out that tigers hunt down Dholes and I was like?? Wait no Alt’s a tiger ;A; but omg is it perfect for angst GGHBB

I’ve been so excited to draw this scene and like I popped off with the head angle?? I dunno when I learned to do that but I’m so proud of it HGHBN

Octonauts x Sky: CoTL AU. if you even care

The main 8 are a group of Skykids who all were born during Season of Abyss. They call themselves the Octonauts, led by one named Barnacles. They’re dedicated to finding and helping any and all other Light Creatures that are in need of help, but are most often found in Isle of Dawn helping Moths through their first hours of life.

Some notes:

• All names are the same as they were in the og show.

• Tunip is the leader of a partnering group called the Vegimals. He’s the main representative of them, and the Vegimals most commonly work in the Sanctuary Islands. They have higher swimming ability than the Octonauts.

• The Gups are another partnering group called, well, the Gups. Their leader is Octopod (Polly/Jarvis). They work best in Golden Wasteland, and are very skilled at distracting/fighting Dark Creatures.

I have designs for the Gups and Lars (who’s going to have a VERY different role than you may expect), please look forward to them in another post :)
