i've never been able to write as efficiently on a computer as i can with pen and paper. something about the physical act of writing helps me record my thoughts without overthinking it. i could do with a bit more organization, though – not sure how this draft ended up on three separate paper scraps before it made it to the laptop.

peter who deconstructs and reconstructs random pieces of technology when he needs to calm down, may and ben learned to keep old pieces of equipment scattered around the house in case he has a bad day and needs the world to stop for a few hours.
sometimes he doesn’t even remember starting— he’ll blink and it’s finally quiet and he’s surrounded by random parts of an old computer that he didn’t even know they had in the apartment.
three days after ben died peter had completely deconstructed and reconstructed the fridge and was half way finished with the dishwasher.
after tony’s funeral he’s given full access to the lab and spends weeks taking apart and restoring iron man suits and unfinished projects— he barley remembers working on half of the things he had done but refused to leave any of tony’s projects unfinished.
weirdly enough he never really messed with the spiderman suit, any urge to take it apart, improve it— add changes or upgrades was quickly squashed down and thrown aside. after the spell he never found himself wanting to touch it anyways.

#luckys original content#copper and gossamer#ive had these characters for SOO LONNGGGG and im finally starting to explore soooo many oc worlds of mine!! weeee!!!#i really wanna make the story of these two into a video game. a mystery game w lotsa puzzles#long ago. copper had a dad. and when she was 7. he vanished. she left to go look for him. and got hit by a car. she lost her arm.#she awoke in her bed with a copper arm. but in a world that just wouldnt understand something so strange. she tries to keep it hidden away.#her mother pretends it doesnt exist. her mother had become absent and strange after her husbands disappearance.#but the local makeup-selling group has been a welcome place. and 'she' hasnt stopped smiling since she joined#copper is on a quest to find her dad.he kept a lab in the attic. he was tracking alien life. he built a computer device within a suitcase#the computer can contact other people. those who were friends with coppers dad. there is also a browser(called BLINDSPOT)#the city of Midhail is a watchful one. and the blindspot is appropriately named. someone maintains a very impressive blog about aliens#that someone is a classmate of coppers. there is a girl who is always quiet and concealed.but always carrying a phone.with a spider charm.#always recording always observing always documenting. her name is Gossamer#under that first layer. she runs a celebrity gossip blog. spending her free time after school stalking and researching local celebrities#under that second layer is the Blindspot blog. one thats been documenting the supernatural strangeness surrounding the upper classes.#she runs the best resource on alien sightings and influence. copper is a big fan. in due time. the two will find eachother.#and they will embark on an impressive quest to find coppers father.#OKAY THATS ALL I GOT FOR NOW. if u guys like this one i might post more. dont normally do doodles here#if i post enough then ill ad a doodle tag. okay loveyou byyyeeee

a few of the latest pages from my sketchbook .... 🌿
#YIPPEE!#can you tell it's been NICE WEATHER and ive been MENTALLY WELL and have also been able to draw outside a bit#and today i finally finished a watercolour study i started a couple of weeks ago and have been working on here and there#it's from a photo i took of like a room in a museum vivarium#as well as the frog/lizard tanks displayed to visitors you could also see through some glass into like their tiny 'office'/research space?#and just the aesthetic of the little computer desk surrounded by tanks full of luscious plants and Things was interesting to me#i haven't really captured it here but i loved the vibrancy of it irl like the harsh fluorescent lights and bright yellow green plants#also just the little details you could see in the photo like all the little wires and cables and the notes on the desk and idk it was like#just a fascinating window into something#i don't think my study looks particularly good or does it justice BUT it was definitely a good exercise#because i haven't used watercolours properly for a while especially not in small detail so it was good discipline to do this#journal

the amount of ads on picrew are actually insane
#woof#(dont tell me to download ad block i know ad block exists)#(i just tried using picrew on a computer without ad block and it was absurd)#it's just. you have to have to watch a commercial before you can do anything#and THEN the entire time you're using it there are 4 ads surrounding the picrew#at least two of which are videos and incredibly distracting#i tried using it today and i could not finish it was pure sensory overload#who thought this was a good idea#it's genuinely unusable

probably the most important exam of my young adult(i suppose) life is comming up, so of course i have to be surrounded by 24/7 inspiration and be struck by the innate need to draw, instead of learning

Theory with no coherent proof on my part: brenner only visibly ages rapidly when a portal is open.
#brenner 'dies' very early on after rhe portal opens in s1 so we dont see the effects#but in s4 he looks considerably older.#then in s5 he apparently has a whole bald cap - portal that opened at the end of s4 has been open for approx 1.5 years#theres the tie in to the ptsd/trauma metaphor with the UD representing repressed memories#or repressed memories aka 'lost time' in someone memory#the whole thing where ppl with traumatic childhoods cant remember their childhoods very well and it comes back sooner or later#i wonder if there is a supernatural tie into that in st? like when a portal opens to the UD all that 'lost time' suddenly is allowed back#into the light aka out of the subconscious and into the conscious re flashbacks and memory retrieval#i dont believe NINA at all beyond the flashbacks el has before brenner got involved#bc it seems to me that brenner possibly took advtg of els vulnerable state to possibly manipulate her memory retrieval#which irl has been a long time point of controversy which is psychologists convinving patients that they have memories of trauma#they dont actually have. which idk how valid that is but brenner is a psychologist so if anyone he could find a way#also when the 'lost time' comes back to the surface brenner ages bc of those time loops begin to unravel. the real years brenner has lived#take its toll rather than him de aging as time loops back again to the beginning#very dr who of him. or at least every time he dies its another time loop thats created except from our perspective as the audience we#wouldnt know. because we are only watching from a set linear timeline (1983-1986) and we dont see the time line resetting itself#since all the timelines are similar enough with only small differences ('easter eggs')#tying this into the wheelers- their name literally means 'creator/operator of wheels' aka time loops. so are they The Source?#with the subtext surrounding 'truths' and 'lies' in ST i dont necessarily believe all timeloops are created equal#one must be the 'true' timeline while the others must be 'lies'. aka lonnie saying how people sometimes make things up 'to cope'#that and the heavy subtext behind hawkins being a cursed town. not necessarily anywhere else in the US#and how you can only open portals in hawkins per alexei#makes me thinks these arent legitimate timeloops. like time isnt physically looping back and rerunning events bc otherwise it wouldnt only#affect one small town in indiana. also we dont see the UD/the MF be able to affect time itself but rather ppls perception of time aka#mind control and memories. meaning that could it be time isnt actually looping but rather everyone in hawkins has their memories wiped and#recreated every time there is an inciting incident (which is unknown)#^this doesnt really explain how brenner is able to revive every time he dies unless brenner is actually an admin of this system and lives#'outside' the time loop. so. brenner is a video game character actually whos actual player is blissfully safe from harm outside of the the#computer screen#isnt this just the plot of the matrix. with 'the source' (the central computing core aka the wheelers?) and keymakers etc etc
