Yes, I’m glad you noticed! His left hand was actually intentionally removed because of the triforce marking.

In Zelda 2 the triforce crest marked the person who was destined to use the Triforce’s power and make a wish, save Zelda, etc. and prevent the use of its power for evil.

So in my postgame hc, the townspeople petitioned to have his hand removed as they (incorrectly) presumed that it would prevent misuse of the triforce power by him or anyone else again. Obviously that’s not really how it works but they don’t know that ^^’

Thank you so much! I’ve actually made a tutorial before, I went ahead and just attached the old file here rather than searching through my old posts lol. My style has developed a bit since I made this, but the same rules still apply to how I draw them! (Sorry this tutorial is rather sloppy tho and sorry my handwriting is bad, you’d think as an artist it would be better but you’d be wrong lol)

What’s your personal headcanon for what exactly Anya told curly about the situation prior to her getting pregnant? I find it curious how curly is initially completely at a loss as to who could’ve gotten her pregnant, but then puts it together after she said “I told you.” I wonder how much she’d told him

The "I told you" is a reference to the dead pixel scene, because she was trying to actually tell him but was being intentionally vauge or cryptic. The dead pixel scene happens only two days before the crash, and then her stealing the gun happens basically the next day.

There is absolutely no reason for the game to not show us their conversation, so it couldn't have happened "Off Screen" because thats not how that works. And the only other conversation where she alludes to the pregnancy and the whole situation is the dead pixel one. It's never mentioned in the Psych Evaluation OR the birthday party which are both a week before the crash.

It makes the most chronological sense for her "telling him" to be from the dead pixel scene since that is the first where she even mentions something had happened, and she was being intentionally vauge and cryptic to avoid a possibly catastrophic outcome of where either Curly didn't believe her or took Jimmy's side, she was attempting to let him piece it together himself, but he didn't, hence the shock when she does actually tell him upfront.

My speculation as to why Curly pieces it together and comes to the conclusion that it's Jimmy is because of a couple things, simply put it makes absolutely no sense for it to be Swansea or Daisuke, they're not even around Anya at any point and not all interested in anything other than their work. Now you can argue otherwise against those points but I don't see how either of them possibly could ever, but onto my second point as to why; its his first step to realising and understanding Jimmy's abuse.

It makes sense to Curly that it's Jimmy, he seems the most applicable to do such a thing based on his own personal experiences. It's him not only piecing together Jimmy's assumed abuse towards Anya and then also towards himself. Which is why it's such a slow and uncomfortable realisation for him.

Remember, Curly never once doubts Anya's words or her truth. Alot of people tend to forget this.

For now it's just a concept, but I really want to turn it into something more! I already have some ideas for a few short comics and drawings for this AU that I am planning on doing soon. But I am not a writer, so please don't expect some big grand story with great plot twists and innovative ideas. 

(of course making a comic series of my own is a dream but we'll see)

What bad habits do you think Charles and Erik could have?

I feel as if I could think about this forever, but I'm just going to answer impulsively here.

For Charles, he probably used to bite his fingernails when he was younger, but now, he just bites the inside of his lip. He tries to hide it from people because it's a nervous habit, but Erik picks up on it right away, of course. He also undoubtedly assumes that everyone doesn't like his telepathy - or just feels unsettled with it - so he just restricts himself a lot and forces himself to hold back his telepathic reach, which is uncomfortable for him. On the other hand, when he isn't restricting his abilities, like when he's with Erik or Hank or whomever doesn't mind his telepathy, he tends to finish people's sentences much to their detriment, just sort of stepping on their toes but with good intention. He just gets so excited, especially if they are talking about mutants or science, that he wants the conversation to move quickly; but everyone else wants the chance to speak themselves. The only person who never really shows they are upset about Charles finishing thoughts and eagerly hurrying conversations is Erik, of course. And I'm ignoring Charles' addictive tendencies because that's bigger than a bad habit, in my mind.

For Erik, I'll stick with some funnier habits first. Whenever he's in the kitchen, he's in his element, especially with all the metal around through the pots and pans and oven. He gets Into It™ by using his abilities to help him cook, and consequently, he pulls out more and more things just for ease of cooking. He'll make a beautiful meal, totally delicious; but the kitchen is cluttered in random metallic items that no one really knows how Erik used them to cook - but he did! and now they'll never be put away because Erik sucks at cleaning up after himself! I also view Erik as very kinesthetic, just because of his abilities, so people will always find little clumps of metal, formed into random shapes, just scattered throughout the house. Not only does Erik use them to fidget and practice shaping metal; he also likes just having them thrown about, likes the call of the metal in his mind. But everyone keeps stepping on the metal clumps and it hurts just as bad as stepping on legos. And a habit that I find especially sad but just a by-product of his unfortunate childhood - Erik tends to fade to the background, make himself unnoticeable unless he wants to be noticed. At parties, he'll be in the corner; at events, he won't talk to anyone; and at dinner, he'll eat his food and disappear, thinking it's better that way because, to him, why would people want to speak to him, after all. That's why Charles pulls him into conversations as much as possible to slowly help Erik break that habit.

This is the only anime world I ever really daydreamed about, and the source of almost all the fanfiction I wrote when I was younger. A good place with good friends!

i have these three figures of his.

i keep my pins and my plushie (i only have one but i'll definitely buy more!) in my ita bag. (i only recently found out about the existence of ita bags, they're lifesavers. this way i can take my love anywhere...).

i keep the walls in my room covered with sei posters but i don't think that counts since i printed the posters myself.

i also have this gift that a friend gave me...although, once again, i'm not sure if it counts.

i have a doublesided bodypillow of sei that i keep in my bed. i don't have any pictures of it in my phone but his feet are out. it's refreshing to say the least!!

and i have his jersey with me ♡ here's photos of me wearing it during my friends' "most likely to..." game awards. (i won, by the way. being the craziest of the friend group is hard.)

i am planning on getting more merch obviously but here are the main products that are constantly on my mind!

most of these are either sold out, have gone missing or don't ship to europe. it's extremely saddening. i will make my own merch if i have to! but yes, my collection is quite small, i like to keep it casual since i still live with my parents. once i move out, though, i've planned to decorate my house with solely sei merch :) it'll be like a thematic park, hehe.

I don’t think she’d attempt to sword fight him unless there was no other option bc she knows Slade, and she’s pretty good at picking her battles. sword for sword imo tho, he would probably win, but you can’t underestimate Selina’s speed and agility giving her the advantage. Alternatively I could see her trying to break his weapon like she did with WW in Injustice and then fight him hand to hand where she has much more of a chance,

or whip it out of his hands like she does to him here in Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point (2021) #4

She also escapes a hold he had her in this same issue, and was able to sneak up on him in Deathstroke (2016) #12

Slade is no doubt the better swordsman, but it’s always a bad idea to underestimate Catwoman who defeats much stronger opponents than herself the same was Bruce does, and I doubt Slade would underestimate her. Even when he was trying to kill her at the end of Catwoman (1993), he chose to unleash heavy gunfire and only landed one bullet instead of fighting her himself

Two questions! Are there any characters that you won't integrate into your Black Butler fics ever? (Intentionally rather than forgetting they exist as there's a huge cast) Out of the characters you have written for, which one is your least favorite to write?

Oh man, I love that you have to include the caveat "rather than forgetting" because of the time I forgot about Snake and thus permanently established the diverging timeline of Coattails forever. Hilarious

Anyway, I wouldn't say there's anyone I outright refuse to write... I would include just about any character from the manga canon, including Kelvin and Druitt, if I thought it would benefit the plot somehow. It's not that I want to write them, it's just that I'm not opposed to it. If someone hasn't appeared, it's because I didn't see the need for them to be there.

There are some anime only characters, specifically Angela/Ash Landers and Pluto, that I really don't ever want to write. I never really understood the deal with Ash/Angela, so I'm not interested in trying my hand at them. I don't want to write Pluto because of he's Pluto

As for my least favorite character to write, it's probably Undertaker. (Sorry to UT fans.) That's not to say I dislike writing him, rather I personally don't find writing him to be very compelling. Part of it might be frustration from not fully knowing his canon motives yet and having to insert some of my own in order to flesh him out. I have the same problem with Lau, but he hasn't needed to appear as much, so I don't notice it. It's still important to me to write a convincing Undertaker, so I give him my all anyway. I hope my indifferent attitude towards him isn't clear in my writing.

I don't think there's been any character I've truly disliked writing, though. The closest to "dislike" may be Ciel, because his dialogue can be some of the most difficult for me to capture. He's also one of my favorite characters to write because of that. Sometimes I'll spend days typing and deleting a single line of dialogue from him. More than once I've published a chapter where I feel I've failed to do Ciel justice, because I've spent weeks trying and I just need to throw in the towel. It drives me crazy, but it makes the moments where I feel I've written Ciel successfully all the more satisfying. He's my favorite character in the series, if it wasn't obvious, and it's been such a great challenge trying to show off every facet of his personality.

Honestly, if I did end up giving Leo a boyfriend, if WOULD be Usagi. Especially since getting the questions about him made me really think about the ship and I’m liking it more and more, they’re cute! In the au, I wholeheartedly believe that Leo would fall first, but Usagi would fall harder.

It would start with Leo having a crush and Usagi being absolutely oblivious, which would be a big blow to Leo’s pride because how come his charm isn’t working, hello?! OH yea, that kid was clinging to him as much as the doctors would allow beforehand. It only got worse afterward. and...OMG! THEY LOOK SO CUTE SNUGGLING AHHHHH!!!!!
