I think my favorite part of the FNAF movie is how the children are such a big part of it

Because the games forgot that the whole plot of the franchise is about ghost children hunting the animatronics. From FNAF 4 until Security Breach with Gregory as a protag, the focus was just Afton and the robots, heck, freaking BABY is sexualized and treated as an adult

But in the movie? Every moment we get a reminder that these kids were murdered. These kids died, Garret got kidnapped, Abby was almost going to die. The games are about a security guard but here they remembered who were the victims and who deserved to put an "end" to William, not Henry, not Mike, not Vanessa, but the kids.

This is the scene where Harvey says, 'Life is this. I like this'. So I think that moment has been kind of mythologized. In the Suits world there's a lot of social media about that moment and my question for you is, is this Harvey just basically saying he's an adrenaline junkie and Mike needs to just deal with it or quit? Is that what we are supposed to think that moment is? Mike goes to Harvey and says why did you do this? Mike is really scared. Harvey's acting like he really isn't and he's saying, this is where I like to live my life, on the edge.

I can't say how people have interpreted this moment but I'm thinking the popularity of the moment is that Harvey is at peak coolness when he says that. It's showing that Harvey is completely disconnected from his partner and disconnected from his own feelings of fear. He is totally avoidant of the moment that this scene is bringing up which is asking him to take some responsibility for the worry about this and maybe comfort or come up with a plan or solutions.

I think in some ways it's really selfish and ruggedly individualistic and maybe it's very American as a trope. I know our show is very popular outside of the US too. So maybe it was a signature American tough man thing to say.

Remember Aaron sent us that text? We talked about how he was so great as Harvey Specter because of all the things that he brought, including this specific kind of vulnerability that he is playing this with, which I think is very subtle. So it's not the first thing you notice.

And I think it sets us up to be not just tuning into the cool dude that Harvey Specter is but to be invested in years following the growth of this man on television. I think it's amazing how he played it. - Sarah Rafferty
