My sweet little kitty Tadpolepaw, an apprentice of Mountainclan. Over these past few months I’ve gotten really attached to her entire character and writing her which was really unexpected from when I first made her. I don’t know where she’ll go in the future but what she’s already done I’ve enjoyed so I’m sure that whatever I decide to do with her later on will be just as enjoyable.

Hawkstar Au Notes Part 4:

Sometime after the tunnel incident, Tadpolepaw just can't stop thinking about the warrior apprentice from Thunderclan she had met and how..familiar he felt. Sleekpaw on the other paw can't relate, disliking him just as much as anyone else from Thunderclan. Hawkstar further trains him to be Riverclan's war machine for upcoming battles, Sleekpaw becoming further desentitized from his emotions and especially his sister, who is struggling after the tunnel incident and Mothwing's death..

In Thunderclan, Jaypaw is exploring his powers, saving Poppypaw from dying like in canon, but also just drifting into other cats dreams out of curiosity. While exploring Ashfur's dreams however, he gets a horrifying vision of him in a blazing forest fire, standing over Firestar's dead body, and Hawk feathers scoured everywhere around the desolated camp. He wakes up startled, and becomes increasingly uncomfortable around Ashfur, who he can feel staring at him regardless of where he is in camp. He notices from conversations between Squirrelflight and Leafpool about how he sneaks in and out of camp mysteriously, smelling faintly of the water. Others assume it's either him simply keeping his pelt clean, but some are suspicious, most notably Leafpool, Squirrelflight, and Brightheart. Ashfur keeps Firestar on his good side by constantly reminding him of how he had saved him from Brambleclaw's traitorous paws in the past. Jaypaw also constantly thinks of Tadpolepaw, having felt similar to how she did about being familiar, including with her aggresive brother Sleekpaw..

Meanwhile in Shadowclan, after a skirmish between a Shadowclan patrol and a Riverclan patrol, Voletooth, the new deputy of Riverclan after Blackclaw's death, finds out about Brambleclaw being alive when Rowanclaw accidentally spills the beans. He relays this information to Hawkstar, who's furious his brother is alive and possibly trying to warn others of what he did in the past. He leads a big patrol out to Shadowclan and demands Blackstar give them Brambleclaw, who denies this. Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt are terrified, fearing Hawkstar will kill them both. A battle ensues and in the midst of it, Sleekpaw manages to take a few of Blackstar's lives through maiming him severely. Russetfur almost dies but is saved by Brambleclaw, who takes Hawkstar's second life. The Riverclan cats retreat but promise to be back to kill Brambleclaw, leaving Blackstar with the choice of either keeping him and risking more lives being taken, or exiling him for Shadowclan's safety. Brambleclaw however, makes this decision for him, not wanting to put his sister at risk, and decides to leave to go find help outside the clans, heading towards the mountains. Tawnypelt is devestated but understands, hoping he can reveal the truth to everyone and stay alive without Hawkstar having his head served to Riverclan on a silver platter..

On the horizon, an exiled Rogue named Sol peaks above the hills nearing Clan Territory. He wanders before meeting an Riverclan patrol. Before Sleekpaw can dig claws into his pelt, Voletooth stops him, scolding his apprentice and bringing Sol to Hawkstar. He acts friendly towards the Rogue, having had roots outside of the clans, and allows him to join despite his lazy and selfish attitude. While his clanmates complain about him not helping, Hawkstar insists he has use, as Sol had told him, Willowshine, and Tadpolepaw of the Eclipse. Hawkstar is so willing to believe their new clanmate, giving him the name Sunshadow, and allowing him to do as he pleases, as he bosses the medicine cats around daily. Tadpolepaw grows annoyed, if this newcomer had actual knowledge of what may happen, then why not become a medicine cat with all those talks about "visions" and whatnot? She is also shocked to hear he does not believe Starclan has any power, but attempts to understand as Mothwing had not believed either. She missed her former mentor so dearly..

With more war and bloodshed on it's way, and a newcomer with unclear intentions, who knows how long it will take before the clans start to collapse from the chaos around them. Jaypaw doesn't even know one of the two prophecy cats is right in the middle of Riverclan, being pressured into using himself as a weapon of destruction...

Ospreypaw is glad that her stomachache is finally gone. Tadpolepaw’s running nose is finally gone.

Bluesky has gotten whitecough. Locustpond’s headaches have been particularly bad recently. Ospreypaw has gotten yellowcough.

Blisseyes finds herbs while out on a walk and decides to give them to Stempaw. Tadpolepaw becomes Tadpolewood a moon early.

I’m going to be changing up how I do updates next moon so be sure to let me know what you think here!

Do you think Mothwing would have believed in Starclan more readily if Tadpole was there?

Does Hawkfrost think of him when Tigerstar visits him? Does he believe his brother would stand at his side?

Would Hawkfrost have turned out differently if Tadpole had lived?

Any guesses for who the next deputy will be? currently the only cats able to be chosen are Fernback and Daisymurk🧍. Btw Fernback is mentoring Tadpolepaw now and Rainstar is mentoring Hollypaw🔥🙏 ^^.

Tadpolekit has reached the age of six moons and is now an apprentice.

Newly made apprentice, Tadpolepaw is very worried about what will happen because he has to train all by himself. But luckily, Yarrowpaw has much experience and knows many things of beeing a warrior apprentice.

Yarrowpaw is proud of Tadpolepaw and he gets a little too emotional and starts crying :,(

mute, nobody in the Clan is sure what happened to cause that, stopped speaking at an early age

communicates with his clanmates using sign language, helps Junco become better at expressing himself through sign and body language

former loner, taken into the Clan when he was an apprentice; was given the name Graylingpaw, nobody knows what his loner name was except for him

apprenticed to Gooseface previously, though had some healing experience during his younger moons-- which earned him a place in the Clan

joins FlintClan alongside Juncopaw to support him, in frequent contact with Gooseface all the while

one of the FlintClan conspirators, close with Buckblaze, Hawkshadow, and Ridgeback

religious, like most of SummitClan, though keeps StarClan at arms-length and often isn't involved with prophecies/omens

Aftermath

Bluestar lays in her den her fur sticky with herbs. She got up and got on top of the great rock looking up into Starclan. "How many will you take from me starclan." she said a tired look in her eyes.

Fireheart looks at the jay feather he had gotten for his crush soon he would ask he keeps telling himself.

Mousefur took Tadpolepaw with them as they hunt since Cinderpelt was injured.

They all Split off and they all hunt on their own. It was a bit later when Mousefur heard a cry for help when she sees Tadpolepaw in a box and tries to get him out but it doesn't work as twolegs get closer. Mousefur promises Tadpolepaw that she will rescue him and that he would be fine before she ran to get Hawkpaw and get out of there

i have so many stories.... (and clans but. well. adhd) okay so first off this was a few months ago in one of my first few clans and i hardly remember anything but. i had a lesbian couple, rock & blaze. blaze had two kits (bc i have same-sex kits on) and they’re happy. they’re really in love, especially blaze, and my fav couple in a clan of like. 50 cats bc they’re so cute together. then, rock gets pregnant. it’s all well & i’m really happy for them until she gives birth and they’re NOT blaze’s. i decided that she didn’t tell anyone even tho i was sad n felt bad for blaze :( but yeah. when those kits are apprentices, rock gets pregnant aGAIN. and she cheats on blaze AGAIN. with the same cat. and that is when i realised it. the worst thing about it all. the cat rock was cheating on blaze with? bLAZE’S OWN FATHER. TWICE. and blaze was really close with him too :(( this time the text was abt him entering the den looking forward to co-parenting or smth so i made them break up and meditated to make blaze dislike her former mate & father for the shit they were pulling. like two months after her last litter rOCK GETS LOST. AND SHE NEVER RETURNS, INSTEAD DYING. so blaze ended up having to co-parent with her own father. i love her sm still she had sm bad luck and i feel so sorry for her :( she was so happy with rock.... :((

then i also had these two cats in another clan. rainhunter (new warrior) finds tadpole, soon tadpolepaw on a patrol, and he joins the clan. the next moon tadpole starts falling for tadpole, and the one after, rain starts crushing too. their romantic bars go up to 3/4ths and 1/2nd in the record speed of FIVE MOONS and then. rainhunter fucking dies. by protecting tadpole from a fire!! tadpolepaw, now tadpolecurl is devastated. doesn’t just gain grief, also lasting one. neither of them managed to confess while alive,, i actually made up lore around them—rain stays with him as a ghost since tadpole can see ghosts, and they actually get together after rain’s death. so, there’s not enough healers, and tadpole decides to become one even if he’s a warrior. all goes well, but he never falls in love again. cue to him being like 30 moons old, and a healer joining who looks EXACTLY like rain except for their eye colors. this was pure rng, but tadpole starts disliking her, more and more every moon, until he ends up murdering her. personally choosing to interpret it as him not being able to go on with her looking so so similar to his dead love of his life (and rain had a bloodthirsty trait, soo ghost rain encouraging him to do it <3). i eventually stopped playing this clan bc i lost motivation but. man. rainhunter and tadpolechase. fuck. (also their names !! hunter. chase. RAINhunter. TADPOLEchase. they are linked)

now after all this sadness, a silly funny one :3 in gardeniaclan i had a former kittypet join on moon 1. her name? wigglebutt. her full name after changing it to make it sound more clan-like? wigglebuttwhistle. she is amazing. on the same moon of her joining, the deputy thornsting falls for her. he also falls for some tom who’s name i forgot the moon after, but he loves both of them abt the same amount. a few moons in wigglebuttwhistle actually gains a tiny crush back on thorn, and the other tom he loves also likes him back. i haven’t really played more bc technically they’re for a clangen blog... but man i am so so rooting for the simp thornsting, his girlboss wife wigglebuttwhistle, and the random guy who’s name i forgot. i love them. i think i’ll cry if they don’t ever become a thing.
