flicker is a sphinx on a mission and that mission is to live an easy life by duping some human into thinking that he's 'conquered 'tamed' them and can keep them as a pet. they're dubiously besties with twist, the manticore in the top left.

After finishing the Pokemon Type Challege I decided to add a third half lion pokemon to my Duo and make them a Trio.

CRYOSFINX [Cryo-Criosphinx] -Ice -The Frozen Horns Pokemon -Ability: Snow Cloack - Refrigerate(HA) -Dex: “It inhabits the very top of Kroel mountains where snow never melts. Its horns and wings are always frozen at sub zero temperatures, getting touched by them can cause instantaneous frostbite..“     -Megahorn     -Ice Fang     -Avalanche     -Noble Roar

MANTIQUORTZ [Manticore-Quartz] -Rock -The Rocky Stinger Pokemon -Ability: Strong Jaw - Rock Head(HA) -Dex: “It inhabits the lower rocky sides of the mountains, living inside the caves and tunnels. A powerful blow from is stinger can incapacitate any prey, but even at a distance it can shoot sharp shards from the tip, as strong and fast as a bullet.“     -Head Smash     -Crunch     -Rock Blast     -Stealth Rock

GAJASILICA [Gajasimha-Silicate] -Ground -The Sandy Tusk Pokemon -Ability: Sand Rush - Sand Force(HA) -Dex: “It inhabits the sandy dunes at the base of the mountain. It's body is always covered in sand, to the point where one cant tell where the sand ends and the pokemon begins. It has a gentle nature, but can become really violent when provoked. “     -Earth Power     -Scorching Sands     -Mud Bomb     -Sandstorm

This three pokemon are mortal enemies of each other, they keep themselves to their territories to avoid any conflict, but if they cross paths they will figh until only one remains standing.

While CRYOSFINX is based on the egyptian Criosphinx and MANTIQUORTZ is based on the persian Manticore, GJASILICA is based on the indian Gajasimha, a creature with the body of a lion and the head of an elephant

What are dreams? There was no simple explanation. Characterized as stories or hallucinations that the mind created when asleep. Sometimes – during a dream – Lupercus felt as though he found himself in a state of consciousness even though he generally had no control over the dream itself. It was more of a predominantly visual experience, that still could include all of his senses.

He remembered how some had claimed that dreams mirrored fundamental patterns of human behavior. That they reflect who one was, what one needed and what one believed in. Some dreams consolidated memories while others help to forget. Others – he did not even dare suggest it as rendered truth but was caught off guard by it enough to pause or be startled – threw him into a faint sense of deja vu, as though the dream had shown him something that was not but would be, in time. Identified a new thread in the mystery of dreaming, but was he even willing to pull it, to unravel the whole? Sound sleep came rare enough as it did and nights where he did not dream were preferred by the strained Legate. Recurring images or scenarios only drained him even more. Which was why – standing where he found himself falling back into the last few nights before, too, those ruins of what he pictured was once a great civilization, that beast called Rome – left the tall brute feel a little tense as he continued his calm walk past a couple marble pillars. / for the Sphinx!

The winds took up her wings and brought her aloft once more. She rode them quickly through the blinding mists of man’s thoughts, always leaving in the hour of waking and arriving when another closed their eyes. For the Sphinx had long abandoned the real world, preferring the pull of infinite dreamscapes, ever expanding as long as the mind prevailed. Ever changing, and ever challenging, amusing in all the ways the material plane had stopped being for centuries. 

Utopia, utopia…

She burst through a mote of clouds and was doused in the light of a brilliant sun, perched high over a not too unfamiliar land. Green, and flush with tall grass, until the beautiful fields were met with the first ring of houses. All of them crumbled and abandoned, the grim signs of a great but fallen city. The lioness had seen many like them in her lifetime, and in fact, so strikingly similar was this vision that she dove to meet it in a state of pleasant wonder. Who was still dreaming of these places? It was rare that anyone should remember them, and indeed it must have been someone who could only barely recollect this part of the past. The pillars had all the wrong designs, and the decorations were too devoid of color. A natural born roman wouldn’t have made these mistakes. She tread across the cracked footpaths, trying to smell for mice or any other vermin burrowing in the debris. Failing to sense any, however, she followed the path to an overgrown garden, and flattened a patch of grass for herself.

The Sphinx stretched flat on her side then, letting out a deep and sonorous yawn.

He found four members of the small council waiting for him.

The chamber was richly furnished.

Myrish carpets covered the floor instead of rushes, and in one corner a hundred fabulous beasts cavorted in bright paints on a carved screen from the Summer Isles.

The walls were hung with tapestries from Norvos and Qohor and Lys, and a pair of Valyrian sphinxes flanked the door, eyes of polished garnet smoldering in black marble faces.

a pair of werewolves set out to remove a manticore from their territory. the manticore represents a massive threat to them and their cubs if left to its own devices, but a direct confrontation will cause it to flee.

a bit of barking and growling is enough to frighten one away, but that's not the hard part. finding one is the major challenge. a manticore will only emerge to hunt once a month and will make an easy meal of a werewolf cub, but actually discovering the identity and location of the killer is quite difficult. the manticore is 90% arboreal, and werewolves aren't climbers. it takes a string of repeated attacks before a manticore is suspected and then, they must find it and hunt it out from the canopy overhead. because it can usually see them coming it's a simple matter to climb higher or temporarily relocate.

werewolves are very thorough with their pest control, and established territories often have no other monster inhabitants other than those which cooperate with the local pack. therefore humans often choose to settle relatively close to where a werewolf pack is known to reside, for the additional peace of mind

Days Later Rooster Bold: How is she? Cat Noir: The doctors said she should be okay and ready to go in a few days  (Strange thing is I haven't seen any of her caretakers at all)

Few Days Later Lila walking to one of her domains She waves but the npc gives a disgusted look and looks away Lila: (What was that about?) She tries to catch a bus When the bus sees her, the doors close and the bus drives away She's puzzled from what going on Lila: I should have brought my bike.

Some walkings later Lila: I'm home. As soon as she said that, she witnessed a triple wake up call Next Day Lila is just sitting where she usually would outside Thinking about Yesterday Few random Parisians approach her She notices Lila: Umm. Can I help you? I'm kind of busy pondering. NPC Boy: Get out of here. Eyesore Lila: Say what? NPC Girl: Begone now. Beat it! Or elsssse. Lila: What did I do? NPC Boy: You should knew, you scum. Do what I say, wretch! Lila leaves but is looking back cause she’s bothered by the 2 randoms’ threats As she’s walking, she gets yoinked and pinned against a wall NPC Band Member: You vermin. It’s because of you she’s gone. You’re why she’s gone, you insufferable freak. Band Member 2: What shall we do with this spawn? 

That idiot makes me itch. Band Member 3: Maybe we should bash this thing until we are bored. This liar person deserves it anyways for what she’s done. Band Member: Her very existence and lies disgust me. This roach is worse than Hawk Moth. Throws her and she falls on her arm Downed as she is, she’s witnesses their aggression beginning to overflow Lila gets up and jets away Band Member 3: Get Back Here! I’m not done with you yet! 

They sprint after her and try throwing their instruments at her
