Walking through the holiday market, Theo ran into so many familiar faces. Being able to catch up with friends, both old and new, was something he always enjoyed. Especially during the holidays when things got crazy and hectic, having some time off for some fun, food, and shopping, was just what he wanted. Plus the food at these holiday markets in Merrock was always top notch. After breaking away from Winnie and the kids who were so busy with shopping, Theo perused the different food booths, seeing what piqued his interest. Hopping on one of the lines, he saw Alec standing by. Wanting to make a little small talk, Theo struck up the conversation. "What's your favorite holiday time food?"

When Scott’s pack unexpectedly finds and rescues him, he has no understanding of pack dynamics, affection or how to communicate what’s been done to him over the years. How could he even begin to heal from all the trauma when the world looks so vastly different as an 18 year old than it did as an 8 year old?

Theo definitely adopts Alex. It's like when there's a cat and a whole room of people (Scott, Stiles, Liam etc...) making pspsps and the cat always goes to the one person who isn't interested, isn't looking at him and probably doesn't even like cats.

And when that person (Theo) tries to push him away the fucking cat will jump on their lap and snuggle up and after a while it will start purring.

That's how it went between Theo and Alec and now Theo has a fucking cat that he pretends to hate, that he doesn't know how to get rid of and that follows him everywhere while everyone else watches and thinks "he doesn't even like cats".
