Developing a TikTok clone involves several components, including user authentication, video recording and uploading, a feed for displaying videos, interactions like likes and comments, and more. Here's a basic outline of how you can approach the script development for a TikTok clone:
Setup and User Authentication:
Create a database to store user information, videos, likes, comments, etc.
Implement user registration and login functionality.
Use authentication libraries or frameworks to ensure secure access to user accounts.
Video Recording and Uploading:
Integrate a video recording feature using the device's camera.
Implement video trimming and editing functionality if desired.
Develop a mechanism to upload videos to a server or cloud storage.
Optimize videos for efficient storage and streaming.
Feed and Video Display:
Create a feed that displays videos in a vertically scrollable format.
Fetch videos from the server and load them dynamically as the user scrolls.
Implement a user interface for video playback with options like play, pause, and sound control.
User Interactions:
Allow users to like, comment on, and share videos.
Implement real-time notifications for likes, comments, and follows.
Develop the "For You" page that suggests videos based on user preferences and interactions.
User Profiles:
Design user profiles where users can see their uploaded videos and liked content.
Provide an option to edit profile information and profile picture.
Display the number of followers and following users.
Search and Discovery:
Create a search functionality to find users and specific hashtags.
Implement a discovery page for trending and popular videos.
Monetization (Optional):
Integrate ads between video playback.
Provide options for users to promote their content or profiles for a fee.
Explore partnerships with brands or influencers for sponsored content.
Admin and Content Moderation:
Develop a content moderation system to filter out inappropriate or violating content.
Implement reporting mechanisms for users to report problematic videos or users.
Create an admin panel to review reported content and take necessary actions.
Analytics:
Track user engagement metrics, such as video views, likes, comments, and shares.
Provide insights to users about their content's performance.
Scaling and Performance:
Optimize the backend for handling high traffic and video streaming.
Implement caching mechanisms for faster content delivery.
Legal and Privacy Considerations:
Ensure compliance with data protection laws and user privacy concerns.
Include terms of use and privacy policy for users to review.
Remember that creating a TikTok clone involves a significant amount of development effort and consideration for various aspects, from user experience to backend architecture. Make sure to plan carefully and prioritize security, scalability, and a seamless user experience. Also, check for any legal implications and ensure your application adheres to copyright and content guidelines.

Answering your Shifting Questions pt2!! ˚₊۶ৎ˙⋆
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
.ᐟ ᢉ𐭩 What does a day in your fame DR look like?
This is super hard to answer since everyday looks different just like they do here. Currently I am mostly at home and planning my wedding so I get up late, do chores, maybe stream live on Instagram and then do some planning. Sometimes I go out with friends or my fiance but as of right now my life is rather calm.
When I am filming thats of course entirely different and I usually have to get up early to go to set, get my makeup done and start filming. It usually only lasts till the afternoon and i'll either get food somewhere or go home to cook.
Especially with scheduled interviews and events everything can always differ but these are the two normal types of days I can think of during non filming and filming period.
.ᐟ ᢉ𐭩 Which Gong Yoo is your favorite and why?
For context — Gong Yoo is my s/o and I shift to him and his characters in multiple different realities.
In my DRS themselves i cannot really pick a favorite since i scripted i forget about other s/o's once i get to a DR. I really only ever have eyes for the one currently at hand. In terms of this reality i would say that all of them are pretty much the same except for some personality traits, age and styling choices, making it hard to pick one. I do think that Gong Yoo himself in my main dr (my adult fame dr) is probably the dearest to me since he was the first and without his acting skills and roles I wouldn't even have started shifting to meet the others. I've also just been dating him the longest and I think he knows me the best.
.ᐟ ᢉ𐭩 Are there celebrities or people that ended up being rude? Ones that you didn't expect to be?
Hell yeah. I recently made a tik tok about this but plenty of celebrities really just keep their image up infront of a camera. Especially middle aged men. Johnny Depp, Chris Evans or Lee Byun Hun have all not been the nicest and are rather arrogant. On the other hand I've especially made bad experiences in the music industry. My DR currently faces the most drama with Taylor Swift but Chappel Roan and Chaeyoung from Twice are also kinda meh.
.ᐟ ᢉ𐭩 Is there anything about the film industry that is largely different?
Well to begin with Star Wars is obviously entirely different. The clone wars are a live action show filmed and realeased in a span of 17 years with the actors growing up on set. Therefore a lot of other shows haven't gotten released. The sequels also followed the plot of legends and only now shows such as Andor or Ahsoka are releasing since the clone wars have ended.
Marvel is also slightly different since Infinity War and Endgame were pushed together and released back to back in 2 years. Therefore everything got was sorta earlier in time.
Aside that singular movies and shows were realessed later/earlier/not at all etc & of course a lot of the casting isn't like it is here.
.ᐟ ᢉ𐭩 Any unexpected friendships?
YES PLENTY!!! The first one that comes to mind is Florence Pugh. I never really thought of her before shifting to this reality but since I directed black widow we grew super close and meet up a lot. She's genuinely one of the famous people that I feel like either isn't way too mature & serious but also not too childish so shes super fun to be around.
Aside that I am friends now with many people all around the industry because I often develop friend crushes for people I didn't even know existed but they js seem so cool ugh.

The Dual Nature of Reality TV: Spectacle vs. Authenticity in “Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai” TV show
“Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai” (Call me by Fire) is a reality TV show that captivates audiences by merging art with personal narratives of 35 reputable artists in the age of over 30, creating a unique spectacle that blurs the lines between reality and performance.  But is the show’s spectacular significant contrast to the authenticity?
Tumblr media
Engagement and Authenticity Paradox
While producers encourage contestants to share their real-life experiences, the need for drama and engagement often leads to scripted or edited narratives that can distort the audience's perception of reality (Weil & Dunbar 2016), creating a complex relationship between producers, performers, and audiences, where engagement is carefully crafted and can be easily disrupted (Hill, 2017).
In Call me by Fire show, this is also the biggest concern of most contestants, as these people are mostly music artists with a fear of their reputation being negatively affected (Vietcetera 2024). However, the show also implemented this concern successfully by respecting every wish and story of each artist and creating a cozy, safe environment in the most subtle way to make the artists feel comfortable, natural, and emotional (Thach Anh 2024). As a result, the show successfully impressed the audience with its authenticity, with genuine emotions and connections of the artists in every scene.
Tumblr media
Social Media Dynamics
Reality TV shows have evolved to create intimate connections between contestants and audiences through social media platforms, blurring the lines between reality and performance. Viewers often fail to distinguish between actors and their characters, developing strong emotional attachments (Torrego et al. 2021). This "mediated public intimacy" transforms viewers from bystanders to confidants, fostering a sense of collective complicity (Kaplan & Kupper 2017).
In Call me by Fire show, besides scenes related to the interpersonal connection between artists recorded, the “brothers” also actively interacted with viewers on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok…, creating an immediate and personal connection that enhances viewer investment but also reinforces the notion that reality TV is performative (Thach Anh 2024). This dynamic interaction between artists, audiences, and producers across multiple platforms has reshaped the reality TV landscape, highlighting the need for media education to enhance critical viewing skills while maintaining entertainment value (Torrego et al. 2021).
Tumblr media
Viewer Consumption Habits
As we dissect this phenomenon, it’s crucial to discuss the implications of our consumption habits. Are we craving authentic connections, or are we just drawn to the spectacle?
In Call Me by Fire show, social media also plays an important role in not only shaping the artist's icon but also reflecting the “true self” of each individual through their content behind the scenes like interviews, life in the show, and connection between artists... The cultivation of identity through social media influence perhaps signals that audiences seek not only validation of their experiences but also a curated version of reality that satisfies their emotional needs (Davis 2019). As a result, social media platforms have become integral to identity construction in the digital age, allowing individuals to curate and present idealized versions of themselves (Nikolova 2022).
Tumblr media
So, what do we truly seek in a reality TV show?
Ultimately, shows like Call me by Fire challenge us to navigate the tension between spectacle and authenticity and remind us that while curated realities can entertain and engage, it’s the genuine emotions and shared experiences that create lasting connections. As viewers, we're invited to reflect on what we truly seek in our journey through reality TV: the allure of drama or the comfort of authenticity.

The path behind the process: Damos
A clarification about the past:
It's funny that a character who has been there practically from the beginning and is basically, part of the backbone of this story has really found its way and purpose at a very recent time.
I'll talk about this quickly. Damos, As a character, let's say from his comic version, he acted according to the situation. What do I mean? I mean, I had very little idea of what I was looking for with the character.
Well, it's not like I could get much out of the original material either; in the film Damos is shown with rather simple qualities, they work for his work, the environment where the story unfolded, the time he had on screen and his relevance in that story.
However that's no excuse, Marcus is in a worse situation and I ended up making him one of my greatest literary prides (yes, every chance I get I show off that bastard); but with Damos the opposite happened, I didn't know how to reinvent him or take well the bases that the original product gave me.
As far as the comic is concerned, Damos simply limited himself to having a relatively positive attitude and acting according to the requirements of the script; so much so that on the second anniversary, one of the interviews had a person who said it was his favorite, even I was surprised that someone had it on his list of favorites and that's really funny.
But well, we can say that I'm forgiven for that because the comic wasn't meant to be taken seriously either, just to sit back and laugh at a cheap drama.
Things got complicated when I said "I already took this thing seriously, let's adapt it to a written literary format and we'll take this seriously".
Among several mistakes that I carried over with me into the new adaptation that were retained from the original version was the situation of Damos as a character. It was thanks to a writing video on tik tok that I consciously realized that my problem with Damos was that he was not an endearing or as they say, three-dimensional character.
I replaced a lot of things regarding that to such an extent that I would say that the character really gains some identity and believability until chapters 12 and 13, where he unravels in certain situations that made him react in a way close to a real person, that is, with his inner nuances that make him unique.
With that in mind and other little things that were improved and added, I decided to make the current remakes. If you notice, many themes took a lot of weight in the story and the weight that each character has is one of those things.
Since I was aware of my mistake, with time I have developed a firm base for the character and it is in these remakes that I already have something clear and firm with him, from his personality, his backstory, his objectives and his individual conflicts that influence the story. Yes, it's something I'm supposed to have clear from the beginning and it's a beginner's mistake, but hey, thank goodness I'm correcting my mistake and part of it is good for this fresh air I'm giving to the story and, of course, to improve its quality.
I'm writing this story since its first version 4 years ago, it's logical to notice my change of mentality and experience in this writing thing is very noticeable, it makes me happy to see that I am improving.
Anyway, now let's see what I have to offer now that I have taken a clear direction!!!
Concept:
If you've been around this blog long enough or know me well enough, everything I'm going to tell you will make a lot of sense.
After enough thought, I have decided to make Damos the black sheep of the family, or rather, the actual black sheep. It came to me the clear idea that Damos, despite being a nice guy, in terms of paperwork, administration and whatnot (what it means to be a public figure and what it entails to be a kind of leader, in this case a religious leader) he's an idiot
The protocols, the paperwork, the fact that in a way he also has a political role in his nation, the duty of leading a large mass of believers who trust him because of the blood that flows in his veins and the blue color of his uniform; all of that weighs him down, he is not ready and he never was.
However, even if he had the option of resigning he would not, even if he is the complete laughing stock or embarrassment of the dynasty, he would not. Because he has been educated and has grown up with the narrative that everything has a function and a purpose, he was already born with one of utmost importance by destiny and, he loves the deities he worships, especially Arceus who has only sought the good for his creation...
All this has come from the inspiration of one man.
Nicholas II of Russia.
My spoiled idiot. He wasn't evil, just an idiot who, despite not being forgiven, justifies his attitude by what he was taught since he was a child and a lot of other circumstances; But we'll just take that, the ideals he grew up with and his own disinterest with political affairs, he himself said he never wanted to be a czar, but he believed that was the duty God had given him, precisely because he had been brought up with the fairy tale narrative of "the czar/king loved by his people and as a representation of god on earth", so, by consequence, if god had put him there it was for a reason Right?
Well, basically that is the concept that Damos is now based on, a guy who is lousy at his position of great importance and who really doesn't like it very much and in fact those around him make fun of him behind his back for his lousy performance; but he put up with all this with the idea they grew up with that it is their destiny and out of a genuine love and devotion to their God that they are supposed to represent.
A curious fact is that my version of Damos is 1.74, just what Nicky measured, mostly because according to the table of character dimensions of the movie, Damos and Marcus were taller than Heatran (which would be Acomfire), this Pokémon on average is 1.70, but in my universe Acomfire is in fact quite low to the average, so to be a little faithful to the canon's proposals, I put that measurement which coincided with Nicky's.
Personality:
Damos' personality also finally made some sense, or rather had a clear existence. He is someone clumsy, essentially shy, obviously someone who falls into the introvert category and prefers to be in his own things or with people very close to him, of a gentle and humble nature.
Those who only know him for his role as a priest from afar would describe him as someone who is extremely awkward, hesitant, indecisive and always requires someone to be helping him. But when they meet him as an individual they are surprised that, while he is not the best of his dynasty in terms of a public figure, he knows all the positive qualities mentioned above.
In order to have something more digestible, I categorize him into the iSFJ personality type and as a member of the Hufflepuff house. As I already talked about the characteristics of the latter, I will talk only about his personality type in the MBTI.
*They are known for being responsible and dedication
*Excellent memory for details
*For them, relationships and commitments are sacred
*Support and care for others
*They are realistic and practical
*They are introverts but they value their personal connections very much and are among the introverted personalities who perform best with others by being the ones who devote the most care and attention to others
*They have a set of firm values and principles,This also includes the sense of duty as they are fundamental to them.
*They like to see concrete results And they prefer to perform tasks where they can quickly see the results of their work.
*For them harmony is fundamental and they prefer to avoid conflict.
*When they manage to relax from their hard-working and responsible ways, they are people with a unique sense of humor.
*They can become rigid due to their tendency to seek harmony, they tend to see in defending traditions and have conflicts with change.
*When they perform a job they like, their natural interest in the sense of duty and the search for stability and harmony,They improve a lot and even if they are in a job that they do not completely like, they always give their best.
Backstory
The story of duty and the quest to be perfect has also been told by Glam, or rather in this case, Sebastian. If you have seen Metal Family, you can guess what kind of background story Damos has, even more so with the little clues I'm leaving little by little. At some point we will openly know this matter, but for now we will only leave it with brief mentions from characters like Glacifone and perhaps Damos himself.
If you haven't seen Metal Family, I'll summarize that Glam, formerly called Sebastian, also grew up in a VERY COMPLICATED family. In Sebastian's case it was his father who asked him to be perfect and who did not consider his son as someone worthy, I'll leave it there.
Backstory playlist:
I know that "Creep" is a song that was made to conquer a woman (which its singer now regrets and gives her a loud cringe), but I like to take it into account for the meaning that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" gave it.
In the sense that Rocket wants to be special and feel good despite his past, something I think comes with Damos.Especially in the aspect of trying to be someone despite his status as a "failed product" of the Mew project.
This is more related than anything to what has already been narrated about Glam.
If you don't want to bother watching episode 9 of season 1 of Metal Family, this song will do the trick.
The lyrics of this song portray well the character's conflict, what deep inside he would like to tell the people around him, especially his mother.
Character evolution
Here we see more visibly the two sides to deal with the character.
On the one hand you have an imposed duty to meet high expectations just because you are related to someone who is dead and, to finish, people think that all you do is ruin everything by not meeting those expectations. However, you do everything in your power to fill those shoes and try over and over again without success, which makes you reaffirm what they think of you and so it becomes a cycle.
On the other hand, you are a person who lives in a society where religion is the main thing and you, innocently believe and let yourself go by the advice of your elders who distort the scriptures, being that you are the only true faithful to god from the heart in that society. But when you realize the reality of your elder figure, which is not what you have always believed, something in you will break and jeopardize the natural goodness you have.
That's Enstein and Orel respectively.
One thing I will take to heart is that they both learned the ultimate lesson with two adult figures who gave them life advice.
I think both are excellent examples of how Damos will approach character development. Both characters come from cancelled series, but which strove to give enough focus to their protagonists to give them a worthy closure to their conflicts.
Character evolution song
Yes, I'm from that time of girls who had to watch Dianey's Descendants un Disney Chanel, what is the problem? Yes, I know you stopped taking me seriously when you know that I take inspiration from a song from such a low quality product, but let me explain.
Descendants is like La Rosa de Guadalupe for me, it is bad in effects, with a somewhat absurd script and with a Disney style teaching... But One of its strengths is the songs that make the characters' situations genuinely touch your heart.
If only is one of those songs. The song tells you about a person with doubts that cannot be easily clarified, a person who is putting everything he knows to the test. He doesn't really know how to interpret what his heart is telling him.He believes that everything that happens is so magical that it could only be a dream,It is impossible for your reality to look like this and, in addition, you have the overwhelming uncertainty that it is a fairy tale ends when the "magic" stops working.
In the context of the song we could be talking about Mal, about how he doesn't know if he's losing his mind. for not knowing what is right and wrong, according to the teachings of her mother Maleficent and her legacy as her daughter.
But this may also perfectly portray Damos' conflict throughout most of the story. In both cases, these issues go beyond what they feel for another individual, but you are already at a point of questioning whether they even really understand your heart...
Honorable mentions:
I only put Gi Hun because with him, I realized my deep love for this type of characters.
In this case, male characters who are somewhat idiotic, good-hearted but who commit stupid and even bad acts,Not by choice, but by mere ignorance or innocence, thanks to its context. In this group, of course, Nicolás, Orel, Enstein and currently, my version of Damos, are included.
The trope of a male character who starts making a series of mistakes, being judged by his own environment or life itself not really treating them well,to then go through a series of events that remove the blindfold from their eyes and end up immersing them in a questioning or strongly raise their ideals despite being put to the test.
Of course, what I said is very general, because Orel was relatively much more loved than the previous ones by his environment, but he shares the fact that his primary environment (his parents) were not very good to him either.
Anyway, I love Gi Hun and treasure him like my little offspring and I thank him for making me see the weakness I have for kind-hearted, miserable men.
General reflections
As you can see, Damos, even though I barely know what I want to do with it, my ideas are clear and I don't plan on wasting it for another minute.Even more so because of the tremendous elements that make it up, they are so precious that it gives you a good idea of what I am looking for. It's impressive!

It is likely that the tool can be connected with the most prominent social media tools and provide such features as template customization, text-to-speech, automatic subtitles, and computer-generated visual materials so that the tools could create effective short-format content. Key Features of AI ReelVolt
Following the characteristics of the regular products offered by AI-based video creation tools and WarriorPlus products, this is what you can anticipate the core functions of AI ReelVolt to be:
1. Artificial Intelligence Driven Video Generation
The best part of AI ReelVolt is that it produces video content with the help of artificial intelligence. The AI module generates a reel with visuals, transitions, and music based on a topic, keyword, or a script that you feed it. This removes the human editing process, which is very convenient when one has limited time or he/she is still new to the editing process.
2. Customizable Templates
The application probably has a list of ready-made templates specifically designed for such platforms as Instagram Reel, Tik Tok, and YouTube Shorts. The templates include such niches as e-commerce, fitness, travel, and others so that the users can produce branded content in a short period.
3. Text-To-Speech and Voiceovers
The AI ReelVolt is likely to support the text-to-speech feature, which would also allow users to use the professional voiceovers without having to record them on their own. It contained several voices and language multiple voice inability and languages could increase its attractiveness to international audiences.
4. Auto-Caption and Subs
AI ReelVolt can automatically create captions on your videos to make them entertaining and reachable. This is a must when using social media where a good percentage of the people playing the videos do not turn the sound on.
5. Library of Stock Media
You can anticipate access to a database of royalty-free images, videos, and music tracks in order to boost your reels. The option takes up less time, and the material employed is legally suitable to be used commercially.
6. Social Embedding
It is very probable that AI ReelVolt lets you post on these networks, e.g., Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, directly, which saves time by optimizing your workflow. Analytics on reel performance are also available in some of the devices but this can be an extra step of setup.
7. One-Click Editor Tools
Editing AI-assisted tools on AI ReelVolt will help to make the editing process easy, starting with the removal of clips to the addition of effects. Options such as auto-transitions, filters and text overlays allow the creation of professional-looking videos in just a few minutes.

Performance analytics: Closely monitor the activity rates and potential subsequent improvement of content.
Commercial License: Become a creator to the clients and sell reels as a service.
AI ReelVolt Review: Best Part
Other than the dotted headline promise, what are the realistic resources and features that AI ReelVolt will present?
1. The List of 2,000+ Viral Reels
This is the leading feature. The amount of content is astonishing. Just visualize the fact that you have thousands of ready to use videos at your disposal with a huge range of niches. It implies that you will spend less time trying to brainstorm and more on your general content strategy. This diversity is all important: had all the reels been identical, the worth would soon have fallen off. The marketing is proposing that they write articles about trending niches and this is important as far as being relevant is concerned.
2. Virality Optimized & AI-made
That is where the "AI" part is called in. Although the exact algorithms are not disclosed (wouldn?t be, being a proprietary matter), the message is that it is not random clips. They are allegedly being created with a viral potential in mind, and they include elements that appeal to listeners on such platforms as Tik Tok and Instagram. This may involve certain pacing, visualization enhancement, or even some frames of mind that help to share and interact.
3. Logo-Free & CopywriteFree Content
This is great news to every person who has at some point experienced the agony of searching and locating a perfect piece only to discover that it has a watermark or is laced with a nightmare reputation of licenses. AI ReelVolt bluntly announces that its content is not logi- nor copyright-problematic, which is why clients can use it to brand it in their own way without any legal consequences. This in itself would save the creators a lot of time and legal headaches.
4. No editing necessary
The second challenge of regular short-form videos that is seen by many is editing. It is time consuming, it needs the right kind of special software and some degree of a skill. AI ReelVolt did not go through this. You download the reel and you are ready to post it. This democratises video production to the point where it is usable by people who have no experience in the field.
5. Streamlined to the Best Short Form Delivery Systems
The reels are customized to Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. This is not purely aspect ratio related, this suggests that the content style, content length and general vibe match the preferences of these platforms, that have different user behavior and algorithmic interests.
AI ReelVolt Pricing: Budget-Friendly or Too Good to Be True?
The AI ReelVolt product is distributed on WarriorPlus which has a reputation of cheap digital products. It is probable that based on similar tools the pricing would be a one-time buy with the base pricing around $14.95 depending on the package being sold or upsells. The product on WarriorPlus tends to have upsells claiming new features like high-end templates, bigger media libraries, or analytical tools, and may end up costing up to a hundred dollars.
As AI ReelVolt is an online product there is no subscription payable, compared to the costs of SaaS tools such as Canva, or InVideo. Nevertheless, certain features (e.g., API integrations or advanced assets) can be subject to additional subscriptions, e.g., In ChatGPT, to get access to advanced AI capabilities, one might need an API key, as mentioned by some WarriorPlus reviews of competing AI tools.
New users are warned that buying at WarriorPlus one can expect uneven quality of the product and difficulties relating to receiving a refund. Read the refund policy (normally 30 days) and consider laying down an additional buyers security by using PayPal.
Pros of AI ReelVolt
Reasonable Price: It is affordable to one-time buyers with low financial capacity.
Easy-to-use: No video editing knowledge is needed, as it is made easy with the help of AI.
Time-Saving: Spend minutes rather than hours to build your professional reel with AI and ready-made templates.
Being flexible: Can be applied to a variety of niches, such as in e-commerce and in personal branding.
Social Media Focus: The designed TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
Cost-Efficient: Save thousands of videographers, video editors, and video stock footages subscriptions.
Ease of use: Reduces the threshold to the use of short-form video by non-editors.
Copyright & Logo-Free: It can help you avoid all the typical legal and branding annoyances.
Volume: A large library guarantees that you will not have time to read everything soon.
Niche Variety: Discusses a range of topics which are trendy, becomes more relevant.
Cons of AI ReelVolt
Minimal Information: There is not enough information on AI ReelVolt and therefore it is difficult to establish its ability beforehand.
Possibilities of Upsell: There might be additional features which are more expensive adding to the overall investment.
WarriorPlus Reputation: Mixed reviews of the WarriorPlus products cast doubt over the quality of support and reliability.
Reliance on Third Party APIs: Two types of AI functions: Some of them might demand monitored subscriptions (e.g., ChatGPT API) at the expense of hidden costs.
Learning Curve: It is very suitable even to a newbie, but to get the hang of the advanced features you will require time.
Authenticity questions: The reels may not have the authenticity that goes with roughly captured and unedited content that makes something genuinely viral.
Non-Branded Feel (Potential): Without such modification to include your own audio, captions, and branding, the reels would eventually achieve a generic feel.
Being dependent on trends: Posts on trends are temporary. The longevity of certain reels may change, although the existence of the so-called trending niches is covered.
No Customization (Directly): You cannot customize the given reels directly on the given platform; you are downloading them without any editing.
Who Is AI ReelVolt For?
The marketing is relatively targeted towards large quantities of people and companies and I could fit it quite well after looking at its features:
Content Creators: Those interested in extending their audience to short-form video: creators of YouTube, blogs, even podcasts.
Digital Marketers: Social media agencies, or freelancers who work on behalf of customers and require a steady supply of intriguing content.
Entrepreneurs & Small Business Owners: People who are aware that they should be doing short-form video but have no free time or investments to create one on their own.
Coaches and Consultants: Business people consider creating authority and reaching out to their audience using brief but powerful videos.
Influencers: People who want to increase interaction and the number of followers, but do not want to work all the time on original videos.
Working Professionals: Working professionals who have their side hustle or personal brand and have to find an efficient way to create the active online presence.
In essence, when you need a consistent delivery of video content on social media and you do not have the money or time and/or expertise to produce quality video content, AI ReelVolt is made specifically with you in mind.
How AI ReelVolt Stands Out in 2025
The market behind the short-form videos is expanding, and platforms such as Tik Tok and Instagram reels rake in billions of views every single day. AI ReelVolt utilizes this trend and supplies a low-cost and AI-powered solution to the creation of attention-grabbing content. The one-time buy system is attractive to people on a budget since similar tools such as InVideo ($15-60/month) or Canva Pro ($120/year) are more price-prohibitive. It is also not manual like manual editors and this means that it can save time to other busy entrepreneurs.
Nevertheless, the ambivalent reputation of WarriorPlus is not an encouraging sign. On Trustpilot, user reviews refer to certain problems with false information about products and insufficient customer support of WarriorPlus products. AI ReelVolt might do just that, but it will be prudent to research before buying.
The Bonuses: Adding Extra Value
AI ReelVolt makes the deal even sweeter, by throwing in 2 bonuses to mate with the primary product:
Instagram Growth Mastery. It is one thing to have great reels but it is entirely another to know how to optimize the reels in order to actualize growth on Instagram. This bonus will probably offer strategies, tricks and techniques to make your new content visible and effective.
Reel cover Canva Templates: It may be small, but it is a courtesy. Slick reel covers, especially in the case of professionals, can enhance click-through rates and give the profile serious beautiful effects. This is easy since it can be done to provide templates of Canva, a design tool accessible by most users.
Getting Started with AI ReelVolt

Make Your Reel: With AI, you can create scripts, imagery and voiceover.

SEO Tips for Maximizing ReelVolt’s Potential
Fit Any Reel: Swap text, images and music to suit your brand and audience.
Exploit Trending Hashtags: The Discoverability in the app is enhanced with trending hashtags.
Optimize per platform: Use the multi-format export capability to optimize content to Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube Shorts.
Performance analysis: understand what works with the analytics dashboard and improve on your strategy.
User Experience: Is AI ReelVolt Really User Friendly?
Onboarding & interface
The onboarding process created by AI ReelVolt is fast. The user is oriented on a transparent dashboard, drag-and-drop devices, and easy-to-follow steps. AI ReelVolt is not like most other AI video editing software, offering limited or no visibility on important features and being overloaded with options. The application is both user-friendly and unashamed to be open to everyone.
Flexibility & customization
Even though AI ReelVolt has hundreds of DFY templates, it does not restrain them to generic outputs locked in. You are able to adjust all the content, text, images, transitions and timing, so that your reels do not end up looking the same as other reels. Such a balance between automation and creative control is a significant pluses over fully automated AI tools that in most cases produce bland, indistinguishable content.
The Speed & Performance
Adding professional looking stuff to the reel can be done within five minutes. The AI of the app assists in making suggestions and formatting but the last creative decisions are always yours. The workflow is attractive both to those marketers who have limited time and to the creators who desire to keep a distinctive voice.
The Bottom Line: Is AI ReelVolt Worth It?
A promising offer is available to any person who feels strained by the requirements of creating short-form video content, and that is AI ReelVolt. Neither a panacea that can make you an overnight star nor a manipulator that can be deadly effective, but rather an instrument of consistency and efficacy.
Should you aim at:
Have a constant active presence on Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, and YouTube Shorts.
Save a lot of time that was earlier wasted in video editing.
Get access to an extensive range of well-licensed video material of high-quality.
This will improve your participation and the number of followers.
Then, AI ReelVolt might turn out as a great asset to your technological arsenal. It enables you to concentrate on the business side of your social media appearance, joining your audience, writing interesting captions, and making use of popular audios, whereas the hard work of the creation of video material is done by it.
It is being less efficient and more intelligent. And in the hipsterized realm of the social media, this is most certainly a plan I would certainly support.
Are you set to make viral reels using AI ReelVolt? Visit WarriorPlus and work on the tool to create captivating videos now.

Deleting Instagram & Tik Tok Part 1
I feel like I should delete all my social media except Tumblr. It’s been poisoning my mind and body, I find myself constantly having thoughts about what to post, what to share, how to present myself… and then the notifications, and the messages, and the comments. I find my mind mulling over a lot of these things often, and it’s directly correlated to how much I post and how often I open the app, which recently has been increasing as I post more and message more people.
I miss the mental clarity I had before being on social media as much and posting as much. My mind is so much more cluttered these days and chaotic. It’s harder to focus, it’s harder to create, to write, to hear musical ideas get dropped into my consciousness, to be more present with people. My mind is constantly thinking about the next thing to post, how a post I shared is doing, the results, LOL, the fucking results of a pic of me sitting on a bench looking at the camera in one of my favorite outfits, how stupid is that?! so stupid..
It came to me this morning after meditating and a spontaneous weekend getaway to Boulder. I’ve been slowing down since I got here. I really needed it after a few weeks of stress building up in my system.
When it came to me, it was a quiet voice, almost a whisper, while journaling. I was terrified to hear it, this voice, this message, this knowing. I didn’t want to hear it, not at all. Deleting my social media would throw a massive wrench into my plans, my master plan to share music and art and develop a following so that I can be a working artist and fulfill my dreams of being a successful musician and writer and actor. I need social media to share my work and build my brand and share my story and my personality and find an audience, so I thought, so was the plan..
I’ve been using instagram and Tiktok a lot more recently to share things. Things I’ve been doing the past couple years. I have a ton of stuff thats accumulated over that time. I wasn’t active on social media, I wasn’t sharing anything. Partly because I’ve been focused on creating, but also because I wasn’t feeling secure as a creative to share my work. It can be extremely vulnerable to share my stuff, it comes from a deep and personal place. All the things I’ve been making: photos, videos, short films, film scripts, writing, paintings, interior design projects, audio conversations, they’ve been sitting in my computer. I’ve been hiding, afraid to share my work, what I’ve been doing with my time, and… my true self. My true self is embedded in the work!
I vividly remember the moment I decided to be an Artist with a capital “A”. I was lost at the time, very lost, wandering around the streets of Soho taking pictures, looking for work, looking for friends, looking for community… looking for a path. I was drawn to the bright lights and entertainment, a hub for creatives and artists and cool people doing cool things, making it happen. I wanted in. I wanted to be apart of it. I knew that. I just didn’t know how.
My experience in college at U of O, studying business and marketing and sports marketing left me disillusioned. It took me awhile to realize that that path was all wrong. I didn’t realize until my final year. Before that point, I was working my ass off trying to set myself up for a successful career. Then all of sudden, it made me sick to my stomach. Because I was off. I was really off.
I didn’t know who I was anymore. I was lost without a path forward. But in hindsight, I had been lost long before then. Because I was making decisions the wrong way long before then. I became what I was conditioned to be and a watered down version of myself. I put on a mask. A mask that I thought would bring me success and bring me to the top of the ladder, where I had envisioned myself.
Why am I talking about all this? I’m practically diving into my life’s story… because it’s related! it’s all related to social media! Social media is how we present ourselves in the world to others and it influences who we choose to be. The act of posting on instagram or any platform (but especially that one) is an act of deciding how I want others to see me. It’s how I communicate to people who I am, what I look like, what I do, how I think. I’m literally building an online version of myself, my identity. How could I ever capture all of me in that way? Atleast in an authentic way? There’s no way! I’ve been trying. That’s why I’m deleting it.
There’s also a cost for being active on social media. A mental toll. The thoughts and worries and fakeness and positioning and social statusing. I’ve been trying to present my authentic self on social media and share my work but it’s really fucking hard. There’s not enough posts in the world that could encapsulate all of me. I’m a human, I’m complex… and I’m changing, always, constantly, evolving in better and worse ways. I’m not static. Not like a post. Or a profile feed. It puts me into a box and ties me to older versions of myself and holds me back from being free. Because at any one moment in time, we can be anybody… if we’re not so tied to the identity we’ve worked so hard to create and then monetize on social media. And I’m talking about everybody, not just people who use social media to make money or for business purposes. It turns all of us into a product and a brand, at-least the current popular platofrms. I rather be free of all that bullshit and all the games that come with it. I don’t want to play those games anymore. I realized that the last time I left social media like 5 years ago. I only returned because I thought I had to, in order to be a successful Artist.
At one point I changed my instagram profile to an “Artist” account, which requires you to make your personal account into a business account, which then gives you deeper insights and capabilities for posting. I felt very liberated when I changed it to “Artist”. It felt like a stamp that I finally earned, that I finally felt confident enough to own. I had been creating art in various ways for years and I was starting to see the value in my work and my ability as a creator. And I was also finally becoming secure enough to share work, work that wasn’t perfect. That took me a long time. I was deathly afraid of sharing. Afraid of judgement. Afraid of exposing my art and true feelings, which was often very intense, and deep, and personal, and full of wounds.
When I decided I wanted to be an artist, it felt like a light bulb moment. I was walking home from manhattan. I was finding myself, I was finding my creative self, something that had been dormant. I didn’t explore the arts or my creative side growing up. It just didn’t happen. I wasn’t in that kind of environment, at all. So the more I explored it, the more it became a bigger part of my life, and then… it was time to decide. ‘Who are you gonna be? What are you gonna do with your life?’ It was time to choose what career I would pursue, what path I would walk. For some reason in my mind it was a black and white decision. A crossroads. A decision for the rest of my adult life. And I chose Artist.
Being an artist can be difficult. It can be really hard to make a living from your artwork, especially if you don’t come from a family or a background that had one and can show you the way. I had no idea how to be an Artist, literally none, I still kinda don’t, everything I knew has been mostly gathered through reading books and watching interviews on youtube and studying my hero’s. There were no artists or working creatives close to me.
Once I felt capable of calling myself an Artist (which sadly took a very very long time, that word Artist was so loaded for me), it quickly became a huge part of my identity, maybe even all of my identity. It became who I was. It became apart of how I dressed, how I presented myself, how I thought of myself, how I moved in society.
I had a different identity before that, a much different one, I was…. a Businessman. Dun-dun-dunnn *Cue the dramatic music*. That’s the word I use to encapsulate who I thought myself to be. My dad was one. My family valued them. I felt like I was smart and business savy enough and entrepreneurial, so I could be one too, a great one even. A Businessman meant I was professional, I was a Somebody, I was smart and capable, and I could wear suits, and make a lot of money, and be admired, someone important.
I now realize that when I decided to become an Artist, a deep part of me was just desperate, desperate to be Something, Someone, and also desperate to cling to an identity, one that already exists, one with a path forward.
I was lost, really fucking lost, and it scared the shit out of me! Terrified me! I felt like a chicken running around with its head cut off. I felt like I needed to choose a life, an entire life, at the age of 24! The first thing I chose, Businessman, was completely wrong, so wrong, I fucked up, I knew that. So I threw it out. All of it. I even threw out my vision board I made in college. I had to be someone else in order to fit inside that vision, that identity, that life. But an Artist? that sounds great! That sounds expansive! That’s exciting! And I was finding out that I was creative, very creative, and that I love art, and that I love making art, and that most of my hero’s were artists, and their lives look really cool…
On a deeper level (one I didn’t know at the time), I loved the attention my heros got from people. People loved them and the work they made. I loved them and their work deeply touched me, it changed my life, I want to do that, I thought, I want to touch people like that too. (And on a deeper unconscious level: I want to be loved like that too.)
Underneath it all was a desperate attempt to become someone special and important, so that I could feel special and important, and receive the love I didn’t get. So I didn’t just want to be an Artist, no, I wanted to be a very successful Artist, a very loved Artist.
The path to being a ‘successful’ Artist means getting your work out there and getting it in front of people. And so naturally I thought I needed social media to do that. It makes complete logical sense. So I started using again, and sharing. But what if I don’t need to be a successful Artist? What then?
Then I guess I would say fuck all of this stupid fake shit that clutters my mind and takes a lot of energy to participate in, and I would delete it.. and go back to creating, for the love of it, because I love making music and writing and making things. And I would let go of trying to build a following and a career… But… But.. it’s do damn hard to let go! (fear just struck me as I typed this). I don’t want to let go. I planned my future around this. This is my dream..
Who am I without this dream?

SLOW vs FAST FASHION
A DIGITALLY METAPHORICAL BATTLE
Like they say, “In a world of chaos, a hero will always be there to save the day”. And as fast fashion behaves like a villain, pushing the environment to the brink of collapse, slow fashion emerges as the hero to counteract its destruction. However, heroes are created, not born. Likewise, slow fashion can not simply appear, and immediately reshape society's preference for fast fashion. It needs collective effort to change the norm.
Tumblr media
As digital citizens, it is our duty to become digitally literate, gaining knowledge and skills to effectively use technology to critically consume information, foster positive community communication and interaction that support the world’s improvement (Office of the eSafety Commissioner, NSW Department of Education, 2023).
The dark side of fast fashion
Fashion has never been “out-of-date”. Trends come and go, with new names and a higher price tag, causing the overconsumption of environmental materials and over-release of waste. Domingos et al. (2022) emphasized that the fashion industry is one of the most polluted industries within its life cycle. A prominent example of this issue is Shein. This fashion enterprise is widely known for its diverse range of apparels which are lightning produced and sold at 50% cheaper price (DW Planet A, 2022). With its speedy and mass production of new items, Shein’s exploitative practice is undeniable.
The rise of digital activism against fast fashion
Recognizing these issues, digital citizens have taken proactive steps to resolve this global issue.
Social media boycott: On Twitter, hashtags such as #BoycottShein or #CancelShein are used to show their frustration that Shein has illegally stolen their designs and reposting news of Shein’s usage of child labor and slave labor. Consequently, it rapidly raised society’s awareness, forcing Shein to acknowledge criticisms, officially apologize and implement improvement.
Investigate Tik Tok content: critically analyze the Tik Tok video about Shein-sponsored brand trip, where six influencers were invited to tour the company’s facilities. The video along with those influencers’ praise on the brand were rapidly criticized because of its green-washing image. Online users pointed out that the trip was just a scripted PR product, using influencers who have a partnership with Shein to promote the brand’s images instead of an authentic investigation.
Influencers leading the slow fashion movement
Beyond exposing fast fashion digital citizens as well as social media influencers, have effectively used the online platforms to actively promote the slow fashion movement.
Vietnamese Tiktok influencers nhi.hien.nguyen who gained 312.3K followers and 9.6M likes through her fashion-related contents. Beyond sharing fashion facts, she also educates her audience on slow fashion. For instance, in her video titled “Thoi trang tuan hoan” (Circulation fashion), she introduces the concept of circulation fashion and recommends REshare, a Vietnamese platform that collects, recycles, and recirculates clothes. Not only does this video provide informative content for her “312.3K followers” and suggest a solution for their unwanted clothes, it also creates a potential opportunity for this information to be widely shared and encourages more people to take action.
for more information about circulation fashion:
Hudi Charin, founder of the Big Sister Swap (BSS), a sustainable clothing brand which allows customers to refresh their wardrobe without “breaking the bank and harming the planet” (Morgan, 2022, para. 3). By featuring Louise May Mosley, an Instagram influencer with 37.9K followers, BSS quickly achieved business success that ensured a sustainable financial future for the brand to continuously collect, swap and resell clothes to reduce the environmental waste.
Tumblr communities generate an active discussion that shares their admiration for traditional cloth-making techniques, the artists' talents and final outcomes as well as suggest slow fashion brands for each other. For example, a post from lockerandom, sharing a list of ethical and sustainable clothing brands, has received 5392 reblogs. And within the comment section, users have shown their support for the listed brands and demand for sustainable items.

The challenge of slow fashion advocacy
But can we actually make a difference?
Although social engagements indicate a significant change in the users’ perception, slow fashion is still being challenged.
Limited mass appeal : Despite the informative content of hien.nhi.nguyen's “Thoi trang tuan hoan” Tiktok video, it only gains 6748 likes, whereas her other videos such as “ Gen Z's fashion ” or “ MLB brand's interesting facts ” gained much higher likes (83.9K and 12.9K respectively). This shows that despite the awareness of slow fashion, digital citizens still go for more appealing and entertaining contents.
Business sustainability struggles : Despite the initial success, Big Sister Swap (BSS) gradually witnessed a downturn as the business did not cater to Instagram's vernaculars - its prominent marketing platform. Platform vernacular is “combination of styles, grammars, and logics” that is uniquely used on a particular social media platform (Gibbs et al., 2015, p. 257). In other words, Instagram has its own standard of “good” images (Manovich, 2016, as cited in Yoo et al., 2023, para. 3). Moreover, evidence was put forth by Jones and Lee (2021, p. 116) that experiential, brand resonance and emotional contents as well as the appearance of well-known influencers receive higher Instagram social engagement than employees' perspectives, price and promotion contents. consequently, with low attractive images (Figure 2), lack of famous influencers features (Figure 3), and price listing content (Jones & Lee, 2021, pp. 116 - 117), BSS is surpassed by other “fast fashion” clothing brands, such as H&M. As a result, Instagram's algorithm automatically limits the visibility of BSS's content, forcing the brand to lose its customers and funds to run the business, which ended up to be closed in 2024.

Figure 2: BSS’s Instagram post vs H&M Instagram post
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Figure 3: BSS vs H&M inlfuencer’s impact
Affordability concerns: Although platform users support slow fashion items (Figure 1), they still have great concern on the affordability of this type of clothes. Arguments were mentioned from a research of Lai et al. (2017, p. 95) that achieving sustainable fashion is the responsibility of fashion enterprises and manufacturers and the expensive cost for a slow fashion item is unreasonable. Therefore, to actually influence society to use slow fashion, it should be normalized and sold with reasonable cost, rather than being used as the Unique Selling Point (USP) of a product (Lai et al., 2017, p. 95) to make it visible as a sustainable item to customers.
The battle between fast and slow fashion is far from over. Although slow fashion does spark up awareness among individuals, it is still a long journey for the world to actually sell and buy this type of clothes. However, I do have faith in the power of technology and the power that each digital citizen holds. With our awareness and advocacy, changes will be made every single day, and slowly the world will be able to sustainably breathe.

Probably the most disappointing tik tok to come across lmao (you don’t have to share if you don’t want to, just wanted to share with my fave gossip queen 🫶🏻)
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT2rXskhJ/
Ah yes, ketchup baron Percy Heinz White
Tumblr media
And gossip queen, huh. Is that all I am to you?
Also I will never buy any stupid scheduling excuse with Ogawa, not after hearing her podcast episode "When you hit rock bottom, the only way is up!" that no one else listened to just what, a couple of weeks before the new teaser with Thing and the scripts/full cast list came out on May 7. She was doing nothing but traveling during the filming of Wednesday, we all saw her damn stories of food and dog and shit on her IG. Wednesday was the big job she lost/closed door in her face and it's weird that the only cast member who even cared to acknowledge her fake azz post on IG was Percy (makes me wonder if she was fired for being a giant bitch or something LOL)
Tumblr media
^^^ B.S., listen to her podcast. Also b.s. because no one goes into her role as it was in Season 1 expecting fucking character development. You were the bittiest bit partner in an ensemble cast. Don't give us this crap...y'all got cut loose, casualties in the Ketchup Baron's false allegations scandal.

Everything You Need to Know About Developing TikTok Clone App Online
Tumblr media
Video sharing apps are gaining more love from people around the world. Within a few seconds, you can showcase your talent in these videos. These videos will reach every corner of the world. As the time limit of each video is limited to 15-30 seconds, people will get to watch different talents within a small period. More entertainment and fun make TikTok famous in more than 150 countries. After this app, more such TikTok Clone App Development Services are gaining market attention. If you are an investor and want to invest in the current market favorite, you should go for video sharing apps.
There is a huge scope forTikTok clone apps in the market right now. Every person loves to watch such entertaining videos. Hence, as a TikTok Clone App developer, you want to come up with such an app, you need to maintain a few points. Your clone app must have some features in it and those are;
Audio selection: The app must have a customized audio selection option. Some apps do not allow the user to upload his track and the user needs to take free music available on the app. Several creators find this thing very irritating. Hence, they look for an app, where they can upload their music without any problem. So, the future TikTok clone app must have a huge stock of songs and also allow the user to upload his track. In this way, more creators will find the app useful and they will bring their followers to your app.
Video sharing option: The best way of finding new viewers is through social media profiles. The creator must get a chance to share the video on his social media profiles. The app should be lenient with this feature.
Filter options: For different videos and the TikTok clone app script online, the creator must require different filters. To change the monotony of the video even within 15 seconds, creators need to change the filter of the video. So, you must include these filter options in your video.
Latest trends: Some songs or videos go on the trending page. These are the videos that bring more views to your channel. Hence all the creators start preparing almost the same videos to get a lion’s share of the views. Hence, the newsfeed of the user must show the latest addition to the app and the most popular songs available on the app.
Profile updation: The user must have all the rights to edit and update the profile. A profile needs to be changed and developed over time. Vent o’clock: People need to understand that shipping will and mike is fine, but it’s truly (and I’m sorry to say this to Mike and will fans) not gonna happen. Not only is it too late to develop a relationship like this in the last season of a show. But also, There has been no indication AT ALL of mike returning wills feeling and a script that however way you interpret it isn’t proof because the millions of people who need to know these indications aren’t gonna read the script, if they were to want to drop hints at this “developing relationship” they need to make it clear for everyone not 1% of the audience who read the scripts. Moreover, people seem to interpret mikes insufferable (I don’t personally find him insufferable but I can see how other maybe do) character traits on him being secretly closeted which I know for a fact is not the case and NOT because I think it’s impossible for mike to be gay and there can only be one gay character in the whole show but because and talking from a writing stand point it would be too late in the show to establish it (look at how much it took them to establish will). What’s so annoying to me and what I see people putting as *proof* is whenever anyone talks about wills sexuality they always take it as confirmation to mike and wills relationship and it’s what started the *queer baiting* nonsense. Like wills SEXUALITY is established not mike and wills relationship, I swear I’ve seen people use Noahs interview from when he confirmed his sexuality and being in love with mike as proof for byler and it’s like ??? This is actually disrespectful to will, that his own sexuality and him coming to terms with it is always lumped with a non existent relationship (smh) And the main reason why they won’t happen is because they’ve always and I mean always said that Mike and eleven is their main couple they want them to be Superman and lois lane or iron man and pepper potts, leia and Han it is very clear that they want them to be like that iconic sci-fi couple that can be remembered till the show ends and years to come (whether they successfully make an iconic relationship it’s not the point but I’m talking about their intention). Anyways that’s my rant, I’m just so annoyed that people think that people who want eleven and mike to stay together are just “Milevens” like I’m not a shipper and I don’t care I’m just a fan of the show but my social media has been full of byler content and I’m just confused like there’s a difference between interpretation and just blatant delusion. Byeeee thanks for listening xoxo
Yeah I mean all of this discourse very much exists only inside the fandom bubble, I think that’s the most important thing to remember. No matter what our opinions are, we’re all weirdos that spend a lot more time than the average Joe talking about stranger things. That’s the first thing to remember lol.
Genuinely I do not think anyone outside the fandom really saw what went down in season 4 and thought mike has feelings for will. The “mike fighting homosexuality” theory very much exists only in the fandom space… nobody outside of tumblr/tik tok saw will crying in 4x08 and mike not even noticing and thought “damn mike is in love with will but just can’t acknowledge it.” I think a good portion of the GA was annoyed with mike bc they’re protective of will and thought he was a bad friend (and imo they’re wrong lmao but that’s a diff issue) but to the millions of ppl watching this show, the issue of “will mike and will get together?” is nonexistent.
Truly everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think that needs to be reiterated. There’s nothing weird or wrong about shipping Mike and Will. But I do get that it has gotten a little out of hand, post vol 2 especially, so I get the need to vent. Like some people have been disrespectful and frankly a little wackadoodle in the way they’re treating others. So long as everyone stays in their lane and nobody annoys me with their opinions (e.g. reblogging my gifsets with ur paragraphs long b*ler analysis in the tags), I’m cool.

Halle Bailey loves how black girls react to 'The Little Mermaid' teaser
Tumblr media
Sep 15, 2022 11:25 IST Washington , September 15 (Always First): The first look of the live-action adaptation of 'The Little Mermaid', starring Halle Bailey and directed by Rob Marshall, has finally been unveiled by Disney at the D23 Expo. Recently, Halle shared the reactions of people after the teaser release. Taking to her Twitter handle, Bailey re-shared a video with a caption. She wrote, "people have been sending these reactions to me all weekend and i'm in truly in awe. this means the world to me." https://twitter.com/HalleBailey/status/1569455744046747648 One of the trends that went viral on Tik Tok features black girls watching Bailey singing in "Part of Your World," and their reactions after seeing Bailey's skin tone in the video, Deadline reported. In the video, a girl got emotional and was heard saying, "She's brown like me." The reactions of young girls moved people on social media showcasing that representation matters. Netizens also tagged Bailey and she ended up retweeting one of the supercut reaction videos shared online. According to Deadline, the upcoming movie is slated to hit theatres on May 26. At the D23 expo event, Bailey said today that it's the first time she has seen footage of the film. "I'm sure all of you in here can relate to Ariel and how special she is to all of us," she said from the stage. She said, "Being a little girl swimming in the pool, imagining I was a mermaid, I never imagined that would come to life." "The three days filming 'Part of Your World' was the most beautiful experience of my life -- feeling all the feelings she feels, her passion, discomfort, everything she's experiencing. It was so exciting for me to play those emotions and to have Rob directing me and being such a moving force on this film was really an honor." The movie is based on Disney's 1989 animated classic, which was itself based on a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The story centres on the mermaid princess Ariel, who makes a Faustian bargain with the sea witch Ursala in an attempt to become human and win the love of a prince. Clements and John Musker wrote and directed the original film, which became an instant classic upon its release, grossing over USD 211M worldwide and winning Academy Awards for Best Music, Original Score and Best Music, Original Song, along with two Golden Globes, a Grammy and other accolades, reported Deadline. David Magee and Jane Goldman scripted the new take, in which Halle Bailey will star as Ariel, with Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric and Javier Bardem as King Triton. As per Deadline, the development of the live-action 'Little Mermaid' began in 2016. The upcoming musical fantasy pic will feature songs created for the original film, as well as new ones penned by original composer Alan Menken, with lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda. The Art of Video Blogging
This past semester, I finally got a chance to teach the course I created nearly two years ago for my graduate capstone project: The Art of Video Blogging. This course consisted of 29 students from first-years to seniors. This class counts towards our general education program, and is classified as a creative thought direction through the communication department. CMDI1300 ended up being the course ID, for example.
Tumblr media
I created this course to fill a gap. The university has some wonderful courses for upper level film makers, and there are plenty of film theory courses, but there was nothing really in between. And there was nothing that tied into where people post videos today.
As I was crafting this course, I took an interdisciplinary approach when it came to putting together objectives. I wanted the class to be fun, but also teach the students an applicable 21st century skill that they would be able to use in other classes and in the workplace. Because of this, students across multiple disciplines signed up for the course, such as: English, Communication, Adventure Education, Public Health, Marketing, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Finance, Business Administration, Geography, Sports Management, and Undeclared. It was so nice to have such a diverse group of students all come together for this class.
Students need creative outlets. I’m sure there are a number of case studies about this, but this is just something I know from experience. Students jump to take photography courses, drawing courses, etc because it lets them take their minds off of everything else for a while. Today’s students are going through so much. As a first-year academic advisor, I see first-hand every day how drained these students are. I was happy to be able to teach a course that provided this creative outlet that so many of them needed.
The first few weeks of the course was dedicated to getting everyone up to speed on film and film theory. In order to make a captivating video, you have to know how captivating videos are made. I also asked the class where they watched most things, and they all said online. YouTube is the main source of entertainment for these students. So, we looked at popular YouTube channels, and we discussed what makes them successful. I wanted them to learn how audiences are made and retained. Consistency is key in the world of YouTube and Tik Tok.
As we were discussing YouTube, I showed the class a few different examples of video blogs and essays. I also wanted to show them the difference between a video blog and a vlog. A vlog is a video that is just compiled snippets of someone’s day, or an event that occurred. Whereas a video blog is just a blog that’s turned into a video. I had the class focus on video blogs that are about music, TV, and movies. I wanted them to see that high level discussions can be had about their favorite media.
For a fun way for the students to discuss what they learned about film, film theory, and character development, as a class we watched Goldfinger and Austin Powers. I then had the students write me a 3-page essay comparing and contrasting the two films. This was a great “beginning of the semester” assignment.
After having an assessment on the basics, I dove into what’s needed for pre-production. We discussed screenwriting, shot lists, lighting, sound and more. Even though the students would be talking directly to the camera, I wanted them to know that it’s important to have their shots set up, and even if they don’t need an official script, they should still have notes for what they’re going to talk about. While we were discussing all these things, I also had the class watch The Imagineering Story on Disney+. This wasn’t to provide free propaganda for the mouse company, however, this documentary does an incredible job of going over the imagination, creativity, and innovation process. I wanted the students to see that their first idea doesn’t have to be their best idea, and that it was okay to start over and try something new.
I did a couple of weeks of filming and editing workshops with the students. I had them get into groups and put a script together for how someone in the group met their best friend. Each group performed a skit, and then we voted on which one we wanted to film as a class. I shot the clips on my phone, since most of the students were using their smartphones to film their video blogs, and then I explained how to upload them to their computers. The following class, I gave them a real time tutorial on how to use Adobe Premiere CC. This is a product students can use for free on campus computers. I showed them everything from importing clips to exporting the final product, and how to then upload that final product onto YouTube. From there, we talked about channel branding on YouTube, and I had everyone set up their YouTube channels for what their video blog was going to be about.
I gave the students many in-class work days for filming and editing. I wanted to be there in case they had questions, but I also wanted to give them more autonomy on their projects. Many editing platforms have quick tutorials for things on YouTube, and I wanted them to see that they could easily find answers themselves. Editing can be a tedious part of making a video, but it can also be the most fun because that’s where you can really put some flavor on your video. Editing can make or break a video. So, I made sure to show the class some examples of well edited videos vs. not well edited videos. We talked about keeping audiences engaged. I would often ask them, “Would you actually sit and watch this entire video?”, and I would often remind them, “Make the video you would want to watch”.
About 2/3 of the way through the semester, I had one on one appointments with each student. I wanted a pulse check on how they were doing in general, how they were doing in the class, and so I could see the progress they were making on their final projects. The students really appreciated this because it gave them a chance to talk to me about things that they maybe didn’t feel comfortable sharing in front of the class, or quickly after class. I was able to discuss turning in late assignments with many of the students that had been previously out sick. I’ll definitely continue to do this in future courses since the experience for the students was so positive. Many of them told me that they wished more professors would do this.
Throughout the course, I had the class read Imagination First: Unlocking the Power of Possibility,  Liu, E., Noppe-Brandon, S., & Institute, L. C. (2011). This was a text I read for one of my graduate level courses, but it’s a very easy read, and it applied to what the students were learning about the imagination, creativity, and innovation process. I wanted them to have something they could connect to the course, the documentary, and to their every day lives.
The week before finals week, I had each student present their video. I knew a lot of them had things going on, or wouldn’t be able to attend the actual final exam period, so I wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to present. (I also let a few students present to me one on one via zoom to accommodate their needs.) I was so impressed with the quality of work these students brought. What I could see overall is that they had fun making their videos. Many of them tied in little skits, or other amusing things, to keep the viewers interested in what they had to say. It was also nice to see the excitement so many of these students had while analyzing their favorite TV shows, movies, video games, and more.
For the final itself, I had us all arrange the class so we could sit in a circle and really reflect on the semester we shared. For many students, it was their first semester on campus, or it was their first fully in-person semester for classes. Since it was my first time getting to teach this course, and I’m hoping to teach it again next fall, I had each student tell me their “rose” and “thorn” of the class. I wanted to know what worked well and what didn’t work well so I could improve on things. Here are some common responses:
more class periods in a computer lab (something I already plan to do)
another film comparison project (more work! I couldn’t believe it)
another group project (again, I’m shocked they wanted more!)
loved the less stressful and “chill” atmosphere I provided
loved having creative freedom
appreciated in class work time
appreciated the practical aspect of YouTube/Internet to relate to how these use things today
more editing workshops (we discussed this at length during the final so I could get a feel for what they truly needed more of)
enjoyed getting to have a place where they could watch and discuss videos
appreciated the one on one pulse check meetings
appreciated the easy navigation of the Canvas course
I was lucky to have such an amazing group of students for my first go around teaching this course. I’m excited to take some time over our winter break so I can work on changing some things on my syllabus. (I want to do it while a lot of this is still fresh in my head.) I appreciated the students being candid with me. Overall, they really enjoyed the course, and that made me so happy. It’s important to remember that all students are like snowflakes. Not a single one of them is the same, which means they all learn differently. I made sure to have written assessments along with the video projects because I wanted to make sure different students could shine where they already felt confident.
I think it’s important for students to know their professors are human too. I was often candid with the class about how I was feeling about certain things. I reminded them just about every class period to make sure they were wearing their masks correctly for their safety and the safety of others, but to really drive it home, I told them that I was finally going to see Harry Styles in concert after waiting two years due to COVID. So a little running joke at the beginning of class would be me asking, “Why do your masks go over your noses?”, and the students would collectively respond, “So you can see Harry Styles.” Many of them would even email me when they were going to be out sick, and would say things like, “I don’t want to ruin your dreams of seeing Harry, so I wont’ be in class today.” It was silly, but I loved that I could create a playful atmosphere. This helped a lot of students know they could come to me with any issues because they saw me as a human just the same as they are. One of my students is even going to be taking engagement photos for my fiancé and I!
I love working in higher education, and I’m grateful that I work at an institution that easily allows staff members to teach classes and try new things. My long-term professional goal is to be a full-time professor, and teaching this class reaffirmed that that is truly, exactly what I want to do.
