WELCOME TO THE PITS OF KAON!!!
This is just some little sketches of my continuity I’ve been brewing for a minute. This stuff will make more sense with the context of this post.

This is based off of this post right here though! Basically I’m just sketching out some things Comet may see upon his arrival to Kaon’s arena.

Starting off strong with the Twins, obviously lol
Was this an excuse for me to just sit there and work on muscle structure from memory…. Maybe…. Just a bit…. I probably should have used references lol.
I just thought it would be kinda cool to give the gladiators more human looking bodies since I had already established that they don’t actually wear a bunch of armor.

Here in The Pit’s youll see all kinds of things like…
Gladiators getting washed down after a match!
People getting first aid!
And Gladiators getting ready for their upcoming matches!!!
Yeah, I just imagine them being able to take off a lot more armor than the average mech could. This is to try and keep them out of getting into fights outside of the arena. Is it effective? Depends on the Gladiator.
So, they get to look like people under it all. Most of them actually don’t have an alt mode since they’ve never actually been out of the arena to go scan a vehicle. Or if they do it’s of an animal or smth.
Also the twins for once are the smart ones and actually wearing a full chest plate like a sane person would.

Dooku turned with horror toward what sounded very much like a fifteen year old Torgruta Padawan with a boiled egg stuck for comical effect on one of her canines only to find that exact horrific scenario presented before him. Ahsoka Tano, who had obviously affixed the offending egg there to clown for the probable cheering of one Sifo-Dyas, who was laughing with his mouth open to reveal his own chewed-up egg.
Oh, so he wasn't crying now.
Ahsoka retrieved the white globe off the point of her canine and devoured it in a single bite. “I can’t believe we have real eggs today - you must be good luck!”
“I’ve been saying that my entire life,” Sifo-Dyas beamed at her as if she was as wise as she was hilarious.
…All seventeen years of it, idiot?
Sifo-Dyas didn’t deign to reply to Dooku's mental sally, instead, selecting another egg almost shyly, as if they had not all just seen the entire internal mechanisms that powered his chewing of the first one.
Ugh, Dooku missed Jo.

gonna do the stupid thing for my stupid mental health
#is is the right thing? who knows#but camping made me realize that being away from some of this stuff made me feel a whole lot better#camping is great at bringing back some perspective#does this make me kinda a dick? maybe#but also this responsibility shouldn’t fall solely on me#i’m gonna focus on my friends who make me feel good#and school that makes me feel productive and excited#and everything else can make the effort if it needs my time and energy and emotional investment that badly#god camping was so wet but so good#MANY cool plants and mushrooms#i got to be in the forest info dumping to a captive audience#surrounded by my friends and without the outside world being able to contact me#legit definition of my happy place#lots of cool people to spend my time with#good games and campfire vibes and goofing off with glow sticks#didn’t get as many photos or snuggles as past camping trips but that was bc it was wet#let opportune moments for photo-ops and cuddling while damp is just unpleasant#so no hammock naps but that just gets bumped over to the bucket-list for next year again#and i only had ONE mild bad brain moment#and ONE (separate) bad body moment (and that one was my fault i had two hits of some really strong weed)#(and had a very very bad time for the rest of that night but NOT as bad as last year)#(I swear to god I learned my lesson this year)#so yeah. gonna make a camping bucket list for next year and look at it when i need reminders that there are good things ahead.#personal#(Em and Kat if u see this i love u both so much thank you for including me in your tradition these past several years)#(it means the world to me and i love getting to spend the time with you all!)

Went to a high school football game tonight, my little sister is in the same band I used to be in. Can't say I miss the drama of it but those uniforms were spiffy as hell 😌✨️
yeah I didn't actually get to wear the hat because I was a cymbal player what about it
#fun fact; i was a section leader and center marimba my senior year#i was also center marimba in my junior year#which meant i was like the lesser section leader because i made decisions over all of the cues and keyboard arrangements#and was in charge of how warmups went#stressful but it was a ton of fun#you cant march those big ass keyboards though so we all marched with cymbals for everything else that wasn't our show#me and one other student who was two years younger than me goofed off all the time#we would play our stand tunes by hitting each other's cymbals like some ungodly high five#it was so fun seeing all the dances and stunts that me and that other guy made still being used tonight#almost made me tear up#my sister has a competition coming up soon so I'll try to post a video of what they came up with this year#marching band

FUCK CHORES AND PROJECTS!! I'M WRITING FANFIC THIS MORNING AND IT'S MAKING ME HAPPY!!
#now that I'm an adult with my own home Saturdays are just chores all day like I have to take care of stuff first thing in the morning#it's garbage day -which costs me $2 to bring it into town on Sat morning instead of $80/mo for two pickups from the private trash company#and I don't have my washer-dryer yet so I go to my parents to do laundry right after trash#so Saturday mornings are not for relaxing#therefore I AM going to goof off on Sunday morning#we really need three-day weekends#as a single-person household I can't take care of everything and have enough time to recharge with just two days

And Stan was basically thrown out of the house as a teen and maybe disowned, so Ford's brother Stanley might have been mentioned at some point, but probably not often enough for two twelve year olds to remember that. And I think Shermie is also a lot younger than the Stan twins, they were a baby when Stan got kicked out, so how much does Shermie even know about the 'dead' disappointment twin of the family? People don't tend to talk about family members that they cut ties with.
Highkey one of the funniest parts of Gravity Falls is how obnoxiously close they come to revealing Ford’s existence in the early seasons but never do out of just. Cosmic levels of dumb luck
Episode 1 Stan nearly catches Dipper with the journal and it’s passed off as a gag about Gold Chains for Old Men magazine. In Time Travellers Pig they go back to the Shack 30 years in the past and miss Ford opening the door on them by literal seconds. In bottomless pit Mabel gives him a set of truth teeth that make him incapable of lying and he tells the twins TO THEIR FACES that he regularly commits massive tax fraud and if they had asked him to elaborate he would’ve told them who he was impersonating. In one of the shorts Dipper and Soos find a sentient omniscient mailbox that will answer any question in the universe, and right before they can ask it who wrote the journals Mabel shows it a video of herself snorting gummy worms and it kills itself out of disgust. The entirety of Dreamscaperers is them delving into the depths of Stan’s psyche, going through his memories, all while fighting his brother’s ex-boyfriend and it somehow just. Doesn’t come up. Bill never mentions him. Their grandpa Shermie never said anything. Their parents never said anything. Either the universe was conspiring to cover it up or they are genuinely all that oblivious
#gravity falls#But yeah it's hilarious to me every time I watch that episode that they literally walked through Stan's mind and watched random memories an#NOBODY saw that there were two Stans at some point in his life#There were so many references in the dreamscape itself as well (only if you know ofc)#I think Soos literally opened a memory door on-screen where Ford was at least mentioned or seconds from showing up#But nobody noticed because they were goofing off

oghhhhh starting to get that kind of world-weary depression that comes when i dont have enough freetime to do fun shit
#ignorance cloud on#if my sleep was more consistent in when i fell asleep then i wouldnt need to prep like two hours just for Trying to fall asleep#which would give me more time for friends and goofing off after my shift#and if my sleep was more consistent then i wouldnt be as tired in the mornings meaning i could drink less caffeine#which would mean my heartrate could be slightly more normal and i wouldnt have this innate fear that im going to have a heart attack#whilst sleeping which i BARELY DO#talking it over with a doctor has me bummed as fuck like despite going to bed consistently by like 10:30-11:00 i dont fall asleep#until after 12 or even 1 MOST NIGHTS meaning i only get like 5 hours of sleep consistently#which like 5 is on the lower side i would say im probably getting consistently either 5.5 or 6 hours of sleep#which is still Bad and not healthy#and it makes me exhausted#but theres nothing i can do until i get a sleep study done#and theres no guarantee whatever they diagnose will even HELP#bc its like. im having trouble like Falling asleep its very rare that i have trouble Staying asleep#idk man. doctors appointment left me feeling bad and by the time i got home it was like 7#which is half of my night just GONE bc it takes me like thirty minutes to eat dinner#which i dont even want to eat anymore bc im so fat and overweight and dying from my heart beating too fast#WHAGEVER. SIGH.#just wasted like ten of my precious remaining minutes bitching on the internet but im too chickenshit to post in cringe comp#so onto my blog it goes. its better here
