Impmon, as he appears in Aurora~
Described by others as a weird-looking mix of a cat, bat and rodent, he rarely appears in this form after first evolving, and is most known to others as his Adult form, Caedemon. In the dark, he is often mistaken for a kind of ugly-looking cat by people.
His main evolution line is Impmon -> Caedemon -> Varjamon -> Beelzemon/BM. He also has alternate evolutions, much like Tailmon and Dorumon do.
Impmon first found himself in the human world without any memories and knowledge of who he is, and a scarred body he didn't recognize. Like with Tailmon, he eventually gained back his lost memories, though in his case it was triggered by first evolution.
His real identity, however, also brought with it his actual personality - haughty, distant, self-centered, quiet, and observant. Though his usually very calm and serious demeanor hid a much more beastly and terrifying side underneath.
Uncertain of his place in the new reality, haunted by guilt from a time long gone, Caedemon also had no desire to deal with him being bound to a Tamer, refusing to assume the role of a guardian to a human child.
That, unfortunately, initially created a very strained relationship between him and his Tamer, as she also refused to deal with his shitty personality, and the two of them being too preoccupied with their personal issues.

hc i have is that some clones don’t experience some feelings (body-wise, not emotionally) they should, but it’s a bit easy to have this go unnoticed (or underestimated in severity) all throughout their childhood since they’re raised super rigidly & in groups that learn to rely on each other to survive. this could be the side effects of mass producing a bunch of clones at once from a single guy. for example, fox doesn’t feel hunger, but was always fed at certain times and then followed his brothers to get food as he got older, and would also get food alone at those times bc it’s routine, so this was never picked up on, and that’s why he struggles so much with it on Coruscant. Monnk can’t tell when he’s in pain unless he looks at the injury/reason, but constant routine of checking over himself (plus a natural response to feeling something touch you lol), basic first-aid training, the fact that his blood would have floated nearby in water if he was bleeding, and being surrounded by brothers who care and will tell him to seek medical attention let him coast on by to adulthood. stuff like that made it easy to just not notice it when a clone wasn’t exactly what Kaminoans wanted lol.

saints I miss ur jegulus so baddd
i think what often gets missed in jegulus due to the unavoidable best friend's brother trope of it all is that they're actually at their strongest when sirius isn't a factor whatsoever... just purely on the strength of their own #Dynamic
like the concept of two extremely rich and prattish student athletes with Ego Issues who have both also managed to go in the Complete Opposite Direction about every aspect of their respective personalities is GREAT! regulus who takes himself sooo fucking seriously and james who is incapable of engaging in anything sincere when not assuaged by laughter (+ them learning to manage each other's trauma under these fraught circumstances) is GREAT! both of them getting massively put-off and irritated and spiraling over how well they actually get along is GREAT!!!
open your eyes... sirius is the least interesting thing about these psychos

That winter, the four of them got a cottage in Toussaint together. Geralt and Yennefer shared the big bedroom, and Jaskier took the small bedroom, and Ciri had a pallet by the fire, intending to come and go as the mood took her.
Jaskier found it odd to look at Ciri nowadays and realize that she was an age that he remembered being. An age he’d thought he was an adult at, hah! Back then his name was Julian, and he’d snuck away from home with an old lute and a new name that he wore like an ill-fitting doublet, directionless until he found a brooding witcher in a tavern and decided to keep both—the witcher and the name, that was, not the lute. That poor old thing got smashed to bits by elves after five minutes in Geralt’s company.
Anyway, Ciri. She was more mature at eighteen than Julian was, probably more mature than Jaskier was at forty-three, but he recognized her restless feet. Her hunger for more than she could find contained in these walls. Or any walls, really. She was made to break walls down and Jaskier loved that about her. He loved her! The princess witcher, his little lioness, Geralt and Yennefer’s daughter, as fierce as both of her parents combined.
The second time Ciri showed up at the winter cottage she stayed for almost a week. One drizzly gray morning the restless feet got to her and she wrapped herself up in her traveling cloak and strapped her swords to her back. Geralt was sitting by the fire trying to darn socks and complaining every time the thread came out of the needle. Yennefer had her nose in a book and her feet in Geralt’s lap. Jaskier… he didn’t remember what he’d been doing, exactly, he just remembered the feel of the morning, wet and cold outside, cozy and warm inside, domestic and lovely and weirdly empty. Ciri kissed Geralt on the head and then Yennefer and then Jaskier.
“How long will you be gone?” Jaskier said, catching her hand. She let him swing their arms by their tangled fingers.
“Depends,” Ciri said. “How long is the road?”
“Be back before Yule,” Yennefer said, and “Be safe,” Geralt rumbled, and Ciri squeezed Jaskier’s hand, and then she left.
Geralt put his mending down and looked at Jaskier. Said, casually, “She’s a wanderer, our girl.”
“Whomst among us isn’t?” Jaskier said.
And then he excused himself to his room, where he got into bed fully clothed and stared at the ceiling, because he couldn’t look at Geralt and Yennefer for one moment longer. Our girl. She was, wasn’t she? She wasn’t just Geralt and Yennefer’s, she was Jaskier’s too. She was the closest thing he’d ever have to a daughter.
But he wasn’t her father or her mother. Nor even an uncle or especially close cousin. He was just Jaskier, the man her parents kept around because it was easier than running him off.

one of the things i'm really loving about Fourever You is the cross-wise friendships that are building- Hill does not hesitate to give North rides when he picks up Ter and is always happy to see him and have him around and make it clear that he's welcome to spend time with him and Ter and that he isn't imposing or unwanted; Johan can see Ter's insecurities about his relationship with Hill because of their history, and is quietly reassuring and supportive and encourages Ter to have confidence and take the steps he needs to take to be with Hill. Johan especially is definitely the grumpy cat character of the group, and North is his person, but he is also so soft with Ter and it's really nice to see. the four of them gel really well as a subset of the larger web of friend groups, and i'm looking forward to when they can expand out into the other set of boys and everyone gets to hang out together.

Tolerance Project extra I’ll be back and he certainly was The Tolerance Project and The Terminator Franchise
Part 2 Learning to the love the other films in The Terminator series and what links it to the Tolerance film
Introduction
Hello There and welcome to the 2nd Chapter of a revised blog that looks at the Tolerance project and its links to the Terminator Franchise The first episode covered the first 3 films in the series
Terminator Terminator 2 Judgement Day and Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines Chapter 2 covers the other films in the series and what links it to the Tolerance project.
Tumblr media
Reasons to love the other Terminator films
As I mentioned in the first episode of this blog I said that if it was up to me I would have stopped the Terminator series after the first 3 films I still stand by that but the other films in the series do have there high points as this article from the Screenrant website proves titled 10 good things in Terminator series after T2
To make it easier to understand I have placed the films in chronalogical order not how they were printed in the screenrant article
Terminator 3 Rise against the Machines
The Graveyard Shootout
Most of the iconic iconography associated with the Terminator movies comes from the first two movies. There are so many frames and concepts that have sunken their way into pop culture, but the sequels are severely lacking in those moments. However, the image of the T-800 wilding a mini-gun and carrying a coffin is one of the most iconic moments of the series and one forever associated with the Terminator. Sarah Connor having her grave filled with guns is equally hilarious and fitting for the character and this is one of the better moments of action in the movie.
Tumblr media
Terminator 3 Rise against the Machines
The final appearance of Dr Silberman
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is the most indebted to James Cameron's first two movies, and is at all times trying to feel like the direct follow-up to T2. This often weighs the movie down, making it feel too repetitive and risk-averse, except for Earl Boen's cameo as Dr. Peter Silberman. The psychiatrist was a big part of the first two movies, and seeing him one last time, finally being afraid of the Terminator, is a great moment of comic relief and payoff. It is a bit of fan service that absolutely works, as well as one of the few times the movie feels alive.
Tumblr media
Terminator 3 Rise against the Machines
The Bleak Ending
Most of the runtime of Terminator 3 is spent repeating beats from the first two movies, and it is a slog to get through. However, in the film's final moments, it almost justifies its entire existence. Instead of destroying yet another Terminator and closing the loop, judgment day happens, and humanity is almost entirely wiped out. It is one of the bleakest endings to a studio blockbuster, and while it may betray the sentiment of T2, at least it is trying something different. The ending may not make Terminator 3 worth the watch, but it was a noble idea to end the film on such a dour note.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Telling a different story
Terminator Salvation
McG's Terminator Salvation suffers from a bland script and a muddy visual style, but out of all the Terminator sequels, it took the biggest swing in trying to set the franchise down a new path. Almost every other sequel is trying to recapture the magic of T2, repeating the same plot points and characters, but Salvation decided to forego time travel and focus on the war of the future. The idea of a prequel/sequel following John Connor fighting Skynet is a great jumping-off point for a new trilogy if only the movie took more risks outside the premise.
Tumblr media
Good Recasting
To give the series a fresh start, Terminator Salvation has an entirely new cast, with no one returning from any previous entry. This could have been a disaster that made the movie feel disconnected from the rest of the films, but they did a terrific job recasting iconic roles. Christian Bale is the best version of adult John Connor, giving him a gruff edge, but also a humanity that connects him to the child seen in T2, and the late great Anton Yelchin is perhaps the only person who could have believably replaced Michael Biehn.

Terminator Genisys
The incredible De-aging
The 2015 reboot, Terminator Genisys, tried to play off people's nostalgia for the original movies, going so far as to recreate scenes from the first film shot for shot. These scenes were mostly unnecessary and the way the film played with the franchise timeline felt disrespectful, but the effects used to digitally deage Arnold Schwarzenegger to look like he did in 1984 were seamless. This digital Arnold looked even better than the one in Terminator: Dark Fate four years later, and the fight sequence between young and old T-800s was the peak of the movie.
Terminator Dark Fate
The Design of Rev 9
Not only did the T-1000 serve as the perfect villain for the first sequel, but he has proven to be almost impossible to top. No other terminator has been able to match Robert Patrick's intensity, and no design has felt as unstoppable and scary. However, Terminator: Dark Fate's Rev-9 comes as close as any Terminator installment could get. With a nanobot skin that can separate from the metallic skeleton, he is basically two terminators in one, and Gabriel Luna is a talented actor who can make the robot feel like a monster.
Tumblr media
Terminator Dark Fate
The Opening Freeway chase
With James Cameron involved again, and Linda Hamilton returning, there was hope that Terminator: Dark Fate would be the return to form the franchise needed. Sadly, the movie dissolves into being yet another repeat of T2, but the film's opening minutes are very promising, and the first action set piece is exciting and well constructed. The movie action becomes ludicrous and unbelievable, but this opening sequence is the perfect mix between grounded and fantastical, making it the highlight of the movie. The epic reintroduction of Sarah Connor at the end is just the icing on the cake.
Tumblr media
Terminator Dark Fate
The Character Of Grace
While the movie didn't add up to the sum of its parts, there are a lot of good ideas in Terminator: Dark Fate, the best of which is Mackenzie Davis' Grace. A cybernetic enhanced human, Grace is the best spin on the protector role since T2. She is an interesting character, a good excuse for over-the-top fight scenes, and a vulnerable action star all at the same time. Davis is a stunning screen presence, and this character should have been the sole focus of the movie, but she sadly gets drowned out by all the other balls Dark Fate has to juggle

Tolerance and the Terminator
Why am I talking about Terminator well we almost had a Terminator spoof in the Tolerance film as you can see below first published in the 2nd Part of my Producers comentary blog
Deleted scene
Tolerance deals with five major issues, one of which is transport. The second deleted scene is one I rather miss, and I wish we had kept it as it would have been funny. In the finished film, we see Robert trying to get to his interview; his taxi has not turned up and he just misses the bus; it is just not his day. The deleted scene would have been a Terminator spoof. Perhaps the scene was excluded because the director felt a bus company would not let us borrow a bus for a few hours! It is a shame as Railtrack let us borrow a train for half a day for the Huddersfield Station sequences later in the film.
Terminator!
Robert falls into one of his day dreams and lifts himself out of the chair and onto the bus. He is now wearing full bike leathers, sun glasses and motorbike boots; the passengers on the bus look terrified!
ROBERT: Town.
Robert hands the driver a ten pound note.
BUS DRIVER (pointing to a sign which says correct change only): Correct change only mate.
Robert leans into the perspex.
ROBERT: 'I’ll be back'
Robert the Terminator steps off the bus; the bus pulls away leaving him standing next to the wheelchair in his normal clothes. According to the shooting schedule if this scene was shot it would have been recorded on the 17th August the same day as the Huddersfield Train station scenes making a long day even longer perhaps another reason why it was cut
The props listed for this deleted scene include full leather gear motorbike boots sunglasses and rather strangely a red eye was Richard planning to have a prosthetic eye made just for this scene ?

Woe, toxic Stipple idea be upon ye. Post-S3
Wade and Stone are just chilling in bed, just after being intimate, Wade so happy and yapping and smilling, looking at the former villain with nothing but excitement, affection and joy.
Stone isn't reacting Tho, he may stretch, but doesn't look at Wade back.
With a, ironically, stone cold face, out of nowhere Stone says.
"You're just a fleshy placeholder of the man I loved to cope with my loss"
Wade looses his voice right then and there, his mouth closes with an audible click, his body goes stiff with tension and looks up the ceiling like "Yeah, ok, great chat, Yep, was great, good talk, mhm, cool..." trying to hold back tears, that comment really shot straight to his heart.
Meanwhile Stone silently reaches for his phone to scroll mindlessly, both of them feel empty and alone while sharing the bed.
