DID YOU GUYS KNOW that the Tor Project has developed a proxy server you can run as a literal browser extension??? I'm by no means an expert on this but I was just reminded that I even had it installed by an update coming in, I never noticed it! It's so crazy that you can be part of a global network of traffic obfuscation and help people circumvent internet censorship in their countries just by installing a BROWSER EXTENSION
Naturally, I believe literally anyone who regularly accesses the Internet through a desktop browser and lives somewhere where the Internet isn't heavily censored already should install this, as mentioned before, it is literally no effort.
Here you can learn more about it and also find a link for the extension for your browser:
Also please rb, I have the feeling this is pretty unknown
Also, if you know more about this, please fill in the technical details as I'm just a little guy

Cum…

Books of 2025: TIME'S AGENT by Brenda Peynado.
New year, new book tag! I have been Patiently Awaiting this one since the book deal was announced, because I love interdimensional nonsense and pocket worlds, and yeah okay maybe it did remind me a little bit of TIME WAR (beloved), and sure let's sprinkle in evil corporations and make it gay, why not. Very excited for this!!

“My Lady…” The genie’s voice came gentle, a hand placed upon his goddess’s shoulder. She avoided his gaze despite his soft prodding. “What happened? You are the very fire that warms the heart if Unova, how could someone bring harm to you at such a lively event?”
“I…I don’t-“ Her eyes began to well up, and Reshi cursed herself for the choked babbles leaving her mouth like an infant. She was a goddess, this wasn’t any way to act.
“I thought I could trust him! H-He was so nice and-“
“You did not sense any lies?” The two were upon the ground now. “None whatsoever?!”
“No! If I had do you think I would have stayed there?!” Pitiful sparks rose offering weak heat. “We were alone at t-that damned gazebo a-a-and I just wanted to talk some more!” Litwick struggled to hold on as the platform he sat upon raked with sobs. Tornadus held her in place, ensuring she wouldn’t crumble any further. “What happened next Reshi.” The statement was firm. He needed to put his racing mind to rest before his emotions got the better of him.
“I thought he fainted!!! But then-“ Her voice stopped, the visions of the moment replaying in her own mind. A confusing blur of emotions and actions, fading in and out. One thing remained imprinted into her brain: His eyes.
How gentle they were before, and how cold and unbearable they became afterwards.
“I felt s-so cold…” A whisper ghosted from her. “I couldn’t move. I didn’t want to lose myself again.”
A breath left the older legend as he took in the events imparted to him. Things were beginning to click into place. The sleepover was meant for a reason, she was just too nervous to say why, and rightfully so. He didn’t need to witness the arguement between her and his brother to hear about it. Oh no. Landerous made sure he was well informed.
“Reshi, look at me.” He waited until the embers of her pupils had settled upon him once more. “I’m sorry. If I had known I would have been more understanding. I understand you are trying your best.” Dark arms wrapped around her and held her close until the feelings passed. They could take their time today. Tornadus chanced a glance back up towards the tower, noting the absence of a particular figure.
This would be an ordeal to explain to him.

Absolute Zero (2023, THAILAND)
Premiere Episode September 27th
From: STUDIO WABI SABI (UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, MY ONLY 12%, BETWEEN US to name a few)
Episode 1 gave me MAKE OUR DAYS COUNT vibes. A young man dealt a bad hand at an early age. Hard working and lonely only to still lose in the end.
But I'm not giving up...not just yet.
Suansoon (WANUT SANGTIANPRAPAI aka MIX) is a high school boy living alone having lost his mother. At the cemetery he remembers her and mourns her.
But his loneliness is coming to an end as he goes to watch a movie and he meets a boy that immediately intrigued him. His name is Ongsa (SUPAKORN WUTTINANSURASIT aka TOR)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ongsa is very interested in Suansoon. That's clear. But what is in store for these two? We know an accident is set to happen.

Guess which Wes Anderson project did better with the public, and is currently more popular? Henry Sugar. Now, guess which film project the trolls on Twitter are going gaga about? Asteroid City and every other project BUT Henry Sugar. *Waves to the GLAAD crowd*

Edit: Now that the blaze went through DEFINETLY do not upload banned books to places like library genesis or z lib or torrenting sites where they can be acessed... Do not install calibre and use it to break drm (won't work on books from some store fronts). And DEFINETLY don't donate to sites like scihub where you can read scientific studies for free. Scihub is what the kind of site I meant when talking about taking donation in crypto.
I'm a jackass and forgot some tags before posting this and can't change it because there's a tumblr blaze pending so this is just a self reblog to add more tags.
A few years ago I had a phase of being REALLY into digital privacy, using tor, duckduckgo, etc before suffering some burnout because I was trying to be 100% secure. So I'm by no means a expert I'm just relaying experience.
The culture of a lot of left leaning and "fandommy" sites (tumblr, twitter, etc) tends to fear/dislike (or just not know about) a lot of the IT stuff used by people into online privacy because they asscoiate it with "techbros". ESPECIALLY anything even remotely involving cryptocurrency. But if Trump is going to start censoring things and making morning after pills harder to get now might be a VERY good time for Americans to get into online privacy and how to avoid being tracked as well as avoiding censorship. Perhaps even some crypto to buy things discretly (or perhaps if ICE agents start caring about cash?) and because many activists groups also take donations in crypto. Never dealt with crypto myself but from what I know Monero was designed to be more untracable than Bitcoin. Don't know how succesfull that is though. Definetly get into privacy in general though.
I'll leave some useful links to get started. Words of advice:
Don't install a fuckton of privacy extensions on your browser, your unique combination of extensions will give your browser a unique fingerprint. Instead read up on and pick a few commonly used ones.
The BIGGEST annoyance for me was acedemic/proffesional settings because noone wants to switch over to some software they never heard off for one group project. Personally I use some normie software for exclusivly proffesional purposes with NO other information on me and do my actual browsing/leisure computer use more privatly.
https://www.privacytools.io/os: General software/browser/etc recomendations.
https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/: Test how private your browser is.
https://www.torproject.org/: THE gold standard for privacy focused browsers. Also obscures ip. Might not always be practical. Has the disadvantage of being notoriously slow and is blocked by some services/websites to avoid people bypassing ip bans and whatnot. Probably don't use this as your everyday browser but if you ever need to look up anything without censorship use tor.
https://tails.net/: Install a portable mini operating system on a usb stick to browse privately from any computer.
https://www.eff.org/ Electronic frontier foundations website.
https://mastodon.social/explore Don't have experience with it myself. But open source social media that should be much harder to censor.
Tumblr probably won't like me talking too directly about this because of ties to piracy but for people interested in banned books https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadow_library should be an interesting read...

Carne e gordura entupiam as bordas do aço, embotando o corte.
Leonhard largou a espada.
O primeiro golpe quebrou-lhe o nariz. O segundo arrancou-lhe um grito desumano. O terceiro afundou-lhe parte do crânio.

OKAY WHICH ONE OF YOU BITCHES WENT AND SNITCHED TO JEROME 🫠
He cried big mad about me, spreading lies and disinformation about this blog, me, etc. Saying this stupid shit:
Tumblr media
"Shipping myself with minors". WTAF is THAT libelous POS? The fuck.
And now I'm suddenly fkn Percy Hynes White
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the reason why there's no civil talk about that film. There are vicious lying GIRLS out there who are sadistic little twunts who literally get a power rush whenever they make up a lie that someone believes.
Jerome did this/tantrummed out. I was fucking minding my own biz over here w you guys when someone messaged my about this fuckhead and his big baby tantrum. Over a nickname.
It was a shit move to make that post and he knows it now, but he won't admit it/blocked me again. He started a goddamn fire and then chicken shitted back out by re-blocking me.
I should hold a fucking contest...best new nickname for Jumpscare's Jerkrome.
ETA: I even told him that if he has JUST reached out to me through messaging and whined privately, I would have KEPT deleting the Anons in my Inbox that mention him or his links — I'VE BEEN DOING THAT — except for a couple of choice Death of a Unicorn reviews posts where he was relevant. In the en0ugh link, it was her response to his post, so he was fucking relevant. God what a ginormous mantrum from a manbaby. If only he hadn't insisted on doing this publicly from behind his block like a little bitch. Those who do message me on a regular basis should know what I'm like behind the scenes.
