wada sez: I haven’t identified the Autobots in the foreground, or most of the jets. Like, that’s obviously almost certainly Sidewipe on the bottom-right, but the rest are pretty nondescript, and I can’t imagine they were scripted in as specific characters.

Only one guy on here has two eyes, and even then, they're fake eyes. It's big-tits-McGee, Mr. logic man extraordinaire, Geneva Suggestion Believer himself: Shockwave! Yep, all 12 of him, a reasonable amount of alternates to have, unlike some people... Shockwave Height Chart, everyone, fuckin wee.

Quick Disclaimer, if any of the images look weird, it's because I had to stitch a few separate images together to create a full body shot of the character.

Explanations and Sources below the cut.

Unicron Trilogy Energon - ~14 feet 3 inches (No actual source, and Energon doesn't have any listed heights anywhere. For the uneducated, the Unicron Trilogy has given each of its 3 seasons separate names and 3 separate art styles. This is the design used in Energon (S2) though he only shows up in Energon. I was able to compare him to Optimus, and using Cybertron's listed heights, I got this number. I am in physical pain, it does not get better from here. Hilarious side note, his Japanese name is Laserwave, which contains the missing "wave" of Shockwave in this iteration's name.)

Earth Spark - ~15 feet (No actual source for ES, but using a barn door to get Bumblebee's height, then Optimus's, then Megatron's height, I was able to make a guess at Shockwave's. Shockwave comes up to about Megatron's chin; I lost the screenshot I used. It's so convoluted, I know, but it's all I have, also, tiny universe, everyone is so small)

TFA Longarm/V1 - 15 feet 2 inches (Animated has no actual numbers, but the lovely @phoenix-inanis has provided a frankly astounding resource with their own calculations for the heights of all the TFA characters. Gen 1 - ~18 feet (TFWiki, uuuuh I've got nothing to add)

Netflix Cybertron Trilogy - ~18 feet (I have no source for this, other than assuming that because this design is identical to Gen 1, they are the same height. That's it, really)

Knight/Capel-Verse - ~18 feet (No source, and he never stands next to anyone I can measure him against, but because the TFOne director has said that this movie is both canon to the LA movies and its own separate canon, I am assuming the height I figured out for TFOne applies to this universe as well. Until proven otherwise. Capel directed the ROTB movie if you're wondering why his name is there)

One - ~18 feet (No source, I got this number by comparing him to Optimus. Now, I am aware of the TFO heights listed on the wiki, but I reject those numbers on principal. A: Those numbers are sourced from the Walmart Promotional AR Experience that came out before the movie. B: There are three decimal points, and that number does not convert into a whole number in meters (which is originally what I thought was weird about it). C: The director has said that this movie is both canon to the LA movies and its own separate canon, so I have elected to use the few given heights we have from KCV and worked from there. My Optimus post has slightly more context if you want it)

Cyberverse - 20 feet (This comes from a screenshot of this video which has the Cyberverse height chart everyone uses, though the quality of the screenshot is iffy.)

Aligned Cont. WF/FOC/TFP - 26 feet 2 inches (This number comes from Fandom and I completely believe it, even if they don't list their source, because the entirety of this universe is freakishly tall. Go look at my other charts, all the ALC designs are monstrous compared to the others)

TFA V2 - 29 feet 11 inches (Once again, phoenix-inanis did a fuck ton of work, go look at it, it's wonderful -> https://phoenix-inanis.notion.site/TFA-Height-Chart-f6ad2960ca8c4c5b859ee4958723aaa4?pvs=4)

Bayverse - ~30 feet (Ok, so I don't have a source for this one. There used to be one, BV Shockwave used to be listed as 40 feet tall bc of an article done to promote the movie, but that is no longer listed for reasons not known to me, and making some comparisons to Optimus, I have found them to be kinda close in height. It's very hard to actually validate any of this. Shockwave never stands normally next to anything I can use as a ruler at any point in the movie. He's always at a dramatic angle or partially covered by something in the shot. It's so violently frustrating. I am confident he is around this height though, I just can't figure out how much taller than Optimus he is)

And that's it. I didn't have to leave any designs out, all of them are included here (hopefully). It was so nice to work with a character where I wasn't drowning in 20+ designs across every goddamn universe.

Sight part 3 (final)

A few hours into the night, BabyBee was given a space in the barn. He made the hay into a sort of berth like shape… sure he usually just slept on Optimus’s shoulder, but he could sleep anywhere if he tried. 

He was kind of glad he was left on his own for a bit. Especially when his Optimus Called again.

The portal wasn’t ready yet, Bee wasn’t just on another Cybertron this time, he was on a whole other planet, a bit harder to pin down. He was just checking up on him, making sure he was fine, again. They told each other good night. 

“Tell Elita-One good night for me… and that I miss her.” 

Bee could hear the smirk from Optimus “She heard you.”

BabyBee smiled as the call ended.

“em…” 

He jumped and turned around to see Megatron awkwardly standing there. BabyBee relaxed “You’re pretty sneaky for a plane, Megsy.” He talked like he was a friend. Because it felt good to call *a* Megatron friend.

“Yes, I have been told that one before. May I?” He gestured to BabyBee’s little corner. Bee nodded, allowing him to sit down with him in the cramped space. “How are you doing, young one?” 

BabyBee casually started climbing Megsy, having seen his shoulder as free real estate. “I’m good. Everyone here is super nice! Fluffy-ears is very cute!” Megatron helps him hop up to his shoulder, BabyBee makes himself at home and just rolls up in the crook of his neck. “I just got a call from my Optimus, it’s going to take a little bit before I can leave.” 

“How long does it usually take?” Megs didn’t think it’d been that long since BabyBee arrived- but maybe that was because he wanted him to hang around for longer.

“Like… a few hours?” 

Oh that wasn’t long- wait. “And how many times have you… visited other realities, young one?” 

Bee counted on his fingers- it had been a few… but he didn’t keep count. He shrugged. 

Megsy apparently didn’t like that answer and frowned. Then he silently took something from his subspace and put it on Bee’s back. It felt cool in a good way, Bee felt himself relax. 

“What’s that?” 

“An energon patch… It’s just occurred to me that you might not have had time to recharge properly since your journey began.” He explained as he rubbed small gentle circles over the patch, giving BabyBee soothing rubs. 

“oooh…” He yawned. “Thanks. I always forget to do that…” he felt himself falling into stasis “Can you stay here?” He asked Megsy “I dun wanna be alone…” 

“Of course, young one. Rest well.” Megsy said with a smile. Feeling privileged to be able to be the sparklings resting space. Meaning that he felt safe with him enough to do so.

He took so many pictures- Dot’s phone blew up all night with messages of him freaking out about how cute and precious this sparkling was. Using enough emojis to put Optimus to shame. 

During the night- most of the Transformers had huddled up in the barn… totally not to just stare at the sparkling. 

Morning came and Mo opened the barn to get Twitch and Trash- seeing all the Transformers together “Did you guys have a slumber party without us??? Outrageous.” 

BabyBee was given another energon patch- He really needed it. They hung out a little bit more, the human kids giving BabyBee some stickers to put on himself. They played some more before the humans had to go to work or school- Leaving the Transformers to themselves. 

BabyBee received a call soon after, telling him a new portal was soon to appear. BabyBee said good bye to fluffy-ears and told everyone he hoped he’d see them again… maybe on purpose next time. Cuz these guys were really nice! And… And maybe he wanted to keep seeing a version of the world where Optimus and Megatron and Elita-One became friends again… to give hope that his own could do it as well. 

The portal appeared. Optimus wished him safe travels and a quick return home. Elita-One gave him a firm nod, he nodded back. He gave Megatron a hug and left with a smile on his face. 

Where will he land this time?

A portal open and Dragstrip stepped out. He inspected the spoon in his hand looking satisfied.

"huh guess that crazy autobot knew what he was talking about." He glances around, "Alright where've I turned up this time?"

*The room was filled with laughter and sparklings of all ages running around and playing. Some older sparklings were giving piggyback rides to the younger ones and they were all being supervised by a few adults. One of the adults was Megatron, but he was covered in little paintings from the kids and had no insignia. When he noticed Dragstrip, a warm smile grew on his face.*

wada sez: Despite Grindcore and Rung both being original characters from the IDW comics, this can’t actually be set in IDW continuity, as both Grindcore and Straxus left Cybertron long before the Decepticons were formed and both died not long after returning from the Dead Universe in the present-day. This makes me think the strip is actually intended to take place in Marvel continuity; Straxus moved to a fortress in Polyhex after the destruction of Darkmount. Or, it’s possible it’s intended to be an entirely original continuity! See below for clean colors.

I was reading Baby Bee's adventures in the multiverse again, I need Elita, Megs and Op from Earthspark to have a moment with him! I need angst and someone to have a complete mental breakdown.

It might also be nice to see them spend some time with the Terrans, he's almost the same size as Trash and he's just a baby!

... yeah yeah that seem good.

A sight

It was quite a sight, for those that knew what they were looking at. Not many beings still had the option so say they did.

Optimus did. Optimus knew that the young bot, who shared Bumblebee's colour, was a Cybertronian sparkling. How? How could it be? This. Here and now. It should be impossible.

He'd been sent with Elita-One and Megatron by G.H.O.S.T. to investigate a weird energy flux in the woods near Witwicky. They expected trouble. 

They'd split up to cover more ground, his partners minutes from his location just in case. Then he saw it. A portal. With no structure to support it, it clearly was unstable- and Optimus couldn't say he ever saw a portal that looked this way before. It felt Alien.

He opened his comm as he inspected it, looking for tracks of anything that might have come out of it. "Optimus to Team, I believe I've found the energy disturbance. No hostiles in sight, but be careful-”

He was cut off as the portal shifted, extending and stretching. Optimus raised his axe, on guard. It wobbled before it spat a small yellow ball into the ground before collapsing onto itself and disappearing with a clean ‘pop’. 

The Autobot leader didn’t lower his guard, never one to underestimate an inconspicuous creature in this kind of scenario. He stayed calm and ready, knowing that his team would reach him soon. 

He watched the Yellow sparkling groan and clumsily get up from where he'd fallen face first- He dusted himself off and looked around. Even then, Optimus didn’t lower his guard, this time not out of suspicion but from shock. 

“Weird nature stuff… everywhere… ew, I swallowed some.” Said the sparkling in soft Cybertronian, hitting his heels together to let out wheels under his feet. Rolling forward as he started exploring further- 

BabyBee squeaked out when he saw Optimus just standing there, hidden by the tall trees, illuminated by the glow of his still raised axe, looking quite intimidating. 

The small cry snapped Optimus out of it and he immediately put the axe away, lowered his mask and raised his arms to seem non-threatening, hoping the gesture would be understood while searching his processor for Cybertronian speech-  it’d been so long-

He didn’t have time to say anything before A spark of recognition lit up the sparkling’s optics “Optimus!” The young bot rolled forward, smiling- then stopped. He squinted at Optimus and his shoulders slumped “Not my Optimus…” 

Optimus, externally keeping his cool but internally having his mind blown that one: he was seeing a sparkling. two: that sparkling was just spat out a portal. And Tree: that sparkling KNEW HIS NAME- or at least mistaken him for someone with the same name- it- it was a lot. Optimus kneeled down as much as he could, speaking in Cybertronian “Hello, young one- em… I am Optimus Prime.”

The sparkling didn’t feel distressed or anxious- and Optimus intended to keep it this way. Which is why he wasn’t scooping up the young bot despite how much he felt the need to do so to check on him. 

“I know… But you’re not MY Optimus Prime…” The young bot pouted and kicked the dirt, making his wheel roll in the air, defeated. “Again.” 

The leader felt tears in his eyes, simply because he was seeing a part of Cybertron’s lost history- or perhaps not *his* Cybertron’s lost history. 

BabyBee noticed this Version of his friend tearing up and he froze, blinked and quickly rolled to his leg to comfort him. “Ey- it’s okay. Sorry I said you’re not my Optimus! We can still be friends! I’m B-127- My friends call me Bee! You can call me Bee!” 

Optimus winced when he felt babybee's tiny hands tap his leg. He’d kept it together when Twitch and Trash were revealed to him- but this was apparently his tipping point. 

He whipped his tears away as he scrambled himself back together “Do not apologies, young Bee. I am simply- processing emotions.” He looked down to look at the sparkling, B-127 he said his name was- sharing the number with his scout could not be a coincidence “May I pick you up?” He offered his hand for him to step onto.

 BabyBee didn't think twice before hopping on “Yeah! You can check me over. I’m not hurt or anything if you’re worried about that.” Optimus "How could this be?" He whispered as he checked the sparkling over- he hadn't seen a sparkling in... eons. The memories of them are practically lost to the newer generations. 

BabyBee let himself be examined, after a few dimensional jumps he learned that 'inspecting sparkling to make sure he's okay' to be a... pretty much universal reaction to most Optimus Prime he’d met. “Well. You know what a space bridge is?” Optimus nodded “Well- that. But gone wrong-”  

His explanation was cut short when Megatron and Elita entered the scene. 

On reflex, he closed his hands around the sparkling to hide it from Megatron’s view- an old distrust resurfacing as it often did. A distrust he felt ashamed he couldn’t let go of. 

“Optimus, everything alright? You got cut off-” His old friend spoke calmly as Elita one surveyed the surroundings. 

“Ey- What’s that about???” BabyBee’s voice came muffled from his newfound prison “RUDE!” 

Elita picked up on the muffled Cybertronian and lowered her guard after finding the area was clear. “Prime, What’s this?” 

BabyBee kept tapping at his fingers as the Prime failed to come up with an answer. “em… One moment.” He turned away from his allies and opened his hands, whispering to the sparkling “Sorry young one, My friends arrived and I… didn’t want you to panic.” Because Megatron was there. And if this Sparkling was from another Cybertron then… “Megatron and Elita-One are my friends- do you know them too?”

 He gave a slight awkward smile looking back at his friends, who were curiously standing there, letting him do his thing and trying to catch what he was saying. 

“You guys are FRIENDS?!” The small bot exclaimed, shocked. 

Optimus sighed, saddened that other versions of them were still enemies. “Yes, friends and trusted allies so you can believe me that my Megatron will means you no harm-” 

“THIS IS AWESOME!” The little Bee exclaimed with joy. He skillfully ran up Optimus’s arm to climb up his shoulder before Optimus could stop him- his little blue optics landed on Megatron, unafraid and unbothered “WE’RE FRIENDS!” He gestured towards the old war criminal to come closer- then seeing Elita, he did the same gesture towards her. 

Megatron blanched and took a step back “Is that a-” 

Elita-One similarly froze up, simply staring. 

Optimus picked up BabyBee from his shoulder to turn and walk a bit closer to his allies- “Sparkling… Yes.”
