UM “Beware the Frozen Heart“:

When Ellis points at someone and says his UM, an ice shard shoots out of the finger and into the victim. In a short span of time, the victim’s hair turns white, their cheeks lose color, their body becomes cold and frosty, and the victim d!es as their heart turns to literal ice. Ellis despises his UM, and has only used it as a last resort for self defense.

Like many Ignihyde students, Ellis is a cautious lone wolf who doesn’t socialize much. He is elegant and graceful, which is to be expected of a prince like him. Due to his quiet, lonely, and somewhat reclusive nature, along with his wealthy background, many students interpret his shyness as arrogance and haughtiness. So Ellis isn’t very popular among the students. While he tends to hide it, Ellis is quite anxious and nervous 70% of the time, and is actually quite touch starved.

Backstory (Accidental m*rder and Ab*se warning):

Ellis is the heir Prince of Snowmist Mountains. He had a younger brother and was very close with him. But one day, when the two were kids, assassins came during the night. The assassins managed to grab Ellis’ younger brother, so Ellis used his UM on the thief holding his brother. However, the thief used his brother as a shield, so the UM ended up hitting Ellis’ brother and not the thief. Soon after his brother was hit by the UM, he was d*ad. In fear of what they saw, the assassins scrammed. 

The King, Queen, guards, and other royal staff arrived to where the heard the ruckus, and were horrified by the sight of the younger prince’s lifeless c*rpse, and the older prince sobbing on the floor. Everyone blamed Ellis for the d*ath of the younger prince. His parents locked Ellis in his room, where they beat and screamed at him, calling him a monster. 

Ellis was forbidden from leaving his room, and if he did, his parents would beat and scream at him again. The maids had to bring him food, but they would leave it in front of the door, knock, and run before Ellis opened it. His Tutor needed guards in the room before being okay tutoring Ellis. Everyone at the castle despised the older Prince.

A few years later, the King and Queen d!ed when the ship they were on sunk, leaving Ellis with the throne. However, many were against Ellis being the Ruler, due to how young he was…and also because they despised him, so Snowmist Mountain is now currently ruled by the Grand Duke, and he rules the kingdom well.

He ordered Ellis to be released from his room prison, and he let the Prince know that he can leave the room whenever he pleased. Ellis was gobsmacked by this, and was even more gobsmacked that the Duke wasn’t expecting something out of him. The Grand Duke treats Ellis as if he were his son, something Ellis hadn’t experienced in many years.

Fun Facts:

+ Dislikes Spring due to pollen allergies (it only gives him sniffles, but it’s still annoying)

+ It’s noted how Ellis got his UM at a much younger age compared to most people (who tend to get them at 16)

+ Once a day, the Grand Duke messages/calls Ellis to see how he’s doing

+ He has a cold body (if you touch him, you can feel that he’s cold)

+ His nightmares consist of the ab*se he went through and about his brother getting k!lled

+ Loves a good cup of Hot Chocolate with marshmallows 

+ Ellis’ favorite thing in the morning is to hear the icemen passing by and singing. At NRC, he has a music box that plays the songs the icemen would sing

+ Seems to always wear gloves

+ His spice tolerance is non existent

+ Keeps his things tidy, clean, and organized

+ He’ll take his horse, Olaf, for an evening walk every day

+ Ellis has very high As, and is actually good at math. He would be very willing to tutor other students despite his shyness…but most other students would rather fail than be around him (this bites them in the butt during Chapter 3)

Hello! I saw that request are open again and i really want to request headcanons from twisted wonderland!

I wanted to ask for headcanons of malleus, sebek and leona with a significant other with the personality and background of elsa! I mean, s/o is really introverted, shy, studious and prim but also has so much fear of their powers due a traumatic event in their lives and have problems with let go all the pressure and fear they have but eventually learn how to control their power better.

🐉 Malleus uses magic in a lot of his daily activities. It's practically in a fae's DNA to use magic often. But, for you? You despised using magic. More specifically, you hated using your magic. 🐉 Your boyfriend noticed your hesitation to use your unique spell to defend yourself against an attack sent by Lilia in a spar. His green eyes widened and pupils narrowed when you flinched and jumped away instead of blasting back.

🐉 He asked what it was all about, and was shocked to hear you were told to suppress your magic due to its strength and danger against your younger sibling. 🐉 Malleus hugged you from the side and asked if you believed him to be dangerous because of his own magical prowess. You jumped and looked at him shocked, yelling a no and an explanation on why you knew him to be safe, not a monster. 🐉 When you finished, he smiled at you. "How am I not a danger, yet you are?"

⚡ Sebek was sort of scared of you at first. When you arrived at Night Raven College, your magic was still a little stray and was heavy dependable on your emotions. Let's just say hiding it all and then releasing it wasn't a very good move. ⚡ He and you began dating after your own overblot. It seemed impossible to many, as you were a first year, and your magical capabilities should have been below a second year's. But, it happened, and the world around began to freeze over. ⚡ Sebek's eyes were teared up when you began to scream in pain, ice overtaking your form. Your fingers were like icicles and your pupils snowflakes. He screamed for you to listen to him and not the thought in your mind. ⚡ "Your strength is not something to be scared of! Being strong is something you should take pride in! Your magic is beautiful, not monstrous!" He began to walk through the raging storm, leaving the sights of his fellow first years as he called out to you. ⚡ "Please- just come back to us! Come back to me! I love you!"

🦁 Leona and you had very different views on magic. He found it to be useful in multiple ways. You found it to be troublesome and something that would only tear people apart. 🦁 Maybe that was because it tore you and your younger sibling apart. 🦁 He knew you and your sibling had a harsh relationship, even harsher than he and his brother. You and they used to be very close; playing around anytime you got the chance. But, after you accidentally blasted them with your magic, you isolated yourself. 🦁 Leona tried getting you to contact them more, as you tried getting him to contact his brother more. But, he always failed. Eventually, he caught your sibling walking around campus, asking for you. 🦁 He was unsure if you wanted to see them at the moment, so he messaged you. When you told him to keep them away for now so you could get ready, he said he'd get Ruggie on the case. 🦁 While Ruggie busied your sibling, Leona sat in his room with you beside him. You were sobbing into his chest, while he just held onto you like a pillow. 🦁 "Don't worry, Frosty. I'm right here."

Silver Becomes Elsa's Knight

It had been a decision mulled over for months. It was hard to keep it a secret but Lilia was the first to find out, as Silver couldn’t keep anything from his father. After explaining, the older Diasomnia member agreed and sent the younger on his way.

Clad in the uniform representing the fairy the dorm is based on, the knight went in search of the older Arendelle Queen. It wasn’t too hard to find her. Elsa was by the well in the courtyard, deserted aside from various critters.

“Elsa.” Silver announced his presence. He gazed upon the blonde, who turned her attention onto him. There’s surprise before a smile fades it away.

“Silver.. hello,” she greeted quietly. Elsa stood up from her hunched over spot. She’d been thinking of a wish to send to the well, after much talk from a wishing well from Snow White. “You sought me out.. why?” She questioned as she peered over at her boyfriend. Hands clasped in front of her, she waited patiently for an answer. Faint snowflakes clouded her like a veil and sunlike caught the flakes, which only made the Queen more ethereal.

Silver paused. His heart raced. His palms grew sweaty. He soon found his voice. “I have.. a wish.” He answered though the tone betrayed the uncertainty. Before a question could be asked, he continued. He bowed his head first, then he bowed.

“I wish to serve as your knight, Queen Elsa.”

The Queen was taken aback at the request. She was silent a few moments, then she spoke. “What of your commitment to Malleus, Silver? You are sworn to protect him.”

Still bowed, he answered curtly. “Yes, but he still has Sebek at his side, along with fa- I mean, Lilia. Please, allow me to protect you.”

More silence greeted the knight until his ears picked up delicate footsteps. From his bent position, he caught sparkles, sun reflections from the frost and snowflakes that coated the Queen. It’s not until he felt something cold press against the top of his shoulder did he dare to lift his gaze.

And what he saw was a crystallised sword in Elsa’s hand, another demonstration of her ice powers. “On that account.. I accept your offer, Silver. My knight. Now rise.. please.”

I’ve had this idea for a Twst oc inspired by Elsa for my exchange student fan fic idea. I like the idea of him overbloting, not only referencing Elsa accidentally freezing her kingdom but also to reference concept Elsa when she was a villain.

Not sure if someone else has asked this, but what's your opinion on Lilia?He was quite low on your twst character tierlist so i was wondering if there was a specific reason(s) lol.I love hearing others insights and perspectives on Lilia since he is one of the most interesting characters in twst imo. 🦇

I originally had Lilia pretty high up (in the "like" tier) back in about 2022? I thought he was pretty chill and fun, an interesting contrast to the rest of Diasomnia, who come off as very serious or somber. But over time... I became increasingly annoyed with his behavior. As I state in this post, which documents changes in my feelings on the Twst characters over time, I still think Lilia's a far better parental figure than some of the other adults we've seen in Twst, but what really kills him for me is how overly lenient he is, specifically as it pertains to Malleus. Lilia's lapses in maturity no longer read as a cute quirk, they now come off as failures to be stern with those under his care.

One thing that really bothers me about Malleus is how he makes mistake after mistake but is never properly called out for them by the narrative. I'm not frustrated that he messes up (this is normal and expected for everyone because we're all imperfect!), I'm frustrated that Malleus doesn't seem to realize that he messed up most of the time. And if you're not aware of the issue, how can you target and address it??? I feel that part of this problem is because Lilia enables Malleus or doesn't fully commit to scolding him or taking the situation seriously when he really, REALLY should.

Back in book 2, Lilia tells Leona off for his underhanded tactics, calling him unworthy of the crown (and to be clear, Lilia has a right to be mad here, because Leona was literally threatening the health, safety, and wellbeing of his liege). However, where Lilia loses me is when he declares that Malleus is the noble and superior king when... ironically, we never see Malleus truly "lead" or even strongly express any positions on policies or governance. Lilia doesn't seem to hold Malleus accountable for doing any of his supposed duties either. I understand him filling in for Malleus at dorm leader meetings since he's often unreachable for them, but how come Lilia is handling so much of the dorm leader work, repeatedly makes excuses for Malleus not being there, AND fake cries and tries to shove the responsibility of finding Malleus onto other dorm leaders??? Azul is right when he says "What are we supposed to do, begin every meeting by searching for Malleus? This is HIS problem." Vil also rightfully points out that "Both [Lilia] and [Malleus] are making a mockery of this." Lilia ONLY begins to take the situation seriously when Leona and Idia begin questioning Malleus' and his royal status/how fit he is to rule. Why was he not concerned earlier???? If Lilia was REALLY concerned about Malleus connecting with his peers and making the most of his time at school, shouldn't he agree with them and push hard for Malleus to show up on his own???

I feel Lilia is extremely non-committal in that entire set of vignettes. One minute he's upset the dorm leaders "insinuated [skipping meetings] reflected poorly on [Malleus's] behavior", implying that Lilia disagrees with that take??? The next, he's telling Malleus off for "making excuses" and how he "ought to put more thought" into his conduct. Lilia even says that Malleus shares a fair bit of the blame and makes no effort to connect with his peers. But then when Malleus returns from a failed attempt, all Lilia does is laugh about it and not give him any proper closure or advice on what he can do better next time??? Which makes me think that all the times Lilia tries to advise Malleus now feel like just lip service. Where's the actual... I don't know, TEACHING????

That's not the only thing with Lilia. He frequently enables Malleus instead of properly showing him right from wrong (and yes, being TOO lenient is not great parenting). Instead of stopping Malleus from doing something drastic just to amuse some random ghosts that missed Halloween, Lilia joins Malleus, and this leads into the disaster that is Endless Halloween Night. He doesn't once think about how this would obviously worry the others, ESPECIALLY Silver (who legitimately got mad at Lilia for this prank)? Lilia is, quite literally, the only adult in the room and the guardian for Malleus while he's at NRC. He should know so much better than to pull off a stunt like this??? You can still have Halloween mischief, but maybe suggest something less extreme??? Or put up more of a fight when Malleus suggests it... Or be more sincere in your apology to the students you kidnapped... Something, ANYTHING.

And, worst of all, Lilia is always apologizing for or to Malleus while simultaneously also telling Malleus HE doesn't need to apologize for literally anything. Lilia tells him he doesn't need to say sorry for physically harming others, he doesn't need to say sorry for not controlling his temper, he doesn't need to say sorry for wasting his peers' time by missing meetings. Come ON, at least teach the guy to better control his emotions if you know how strong he is than allowing him to carrying on concealing?? (This feels like the kind of thing Elsa’s parents would do 💀) Malleus is NEVER held accountable for anything he does, he is constantly being coddled by Lilia as if he is an infant that needs to be shielded from any blame or fault. I think Leona really put it best when he tells Lilia that "[Malleus is] not some lost child. Quit treating him like one."

I think what made me fully realize that Lilia had gone downhill for me was when he was brought back from death by Malleus and Silver's combined love magic. What does Lilia do right after? He apologizes to Malleus. HE apologizes TO Malleus... for not realizing Malleus was lonely sooner?????? E-Excuse me???? 😭 Why is LILIA the one saying sorry when Malleus was the one intentionally hiding his own feelings??? Lilia cannot be expected to be a mind reader???? I get that maybe Lilia feels some responsibility for not accepting that others feel love for him (and therefore he denies Malleus’s affection for him) but the framing of the apology makes it come across as Lilia continuing to baby Malleus by shouldering all the blame for him after everything that happened. In turn, this is actually stunting Malleus and preventing his character from growing. This is so endlessly frustrating for me to watch OTL How's a lizard gonna learn anything if Lilia keeps creating situations in which Malleus is protected from any kind of responsibility, enables some of his prince’s worst possible aspects, and fails to teach him outside of frequent lectures about the importance of unity and understanding??? Obviously those methods aren’t working if Malleus has not changed a bit in his 3 years (which Lilia reports himself) at NRC.

For all that Lilia preaches about having Malleus expand his worldviews, Lilia sure is keeping Malleus pretty boxed in sometimes 😭 And for that... I, unfortunately, no longer enjoy him.

nooooo i'm so sad about malleus's post-overblot flashback, the way the whole thing is just him as a little kid accidentally hurting everyone including lilia with his magic because he doesn't know how to control it and isn't getting the help he needs :( him saying he doesn't know how to laugh with someone or understand the warmth you get from touching someone, and that people always told him he could use his powers to make everything the way he wants it but the harder the tries the worse things get for him... all he ever wanted was to be able to express his emotions freely, to be included and share in the joy of others... this is so elsa-coded of him i can't take it anymore.
