Love this so much. It's a 1911 Carnegie public library building in Alma, NE. It's been converted to a 4bd, 3ba, home, but it still looks like a library. 2,025 sq ft, $510k.

Enter the original foyer and push open the double doors to the main living area.

Right in front of you is the original circulation desk.

They've turned this former office into a family room.

A nice living room is located behind the circ. desk.

On display under the glass on the desk they've got old newspaper articles and memorabilia pertaining to the history of the library.

That green room must've been the children's dept.

The kitchen's quite large. This is lovely.

There's plenty room in here. The table looks like an original oak library table.

I would imagine that those are the original bookshelves around the room.

So, according to this door, the city clerk's office was located down here. Now, it's bedrooms.

Large primary bedroom with an ensuite.

Bedroom #2 is a good size.

Nice shower room.

Bedroom #3. It's nice that they all have closets, but it's dark down here b/c of the basement windows.

Bedroom #4, the smallest room, is still a good size.

They don't show the interior, but this looks like a little guest house.

The garage is huge, b/c it must've been a municipal garage at one time.

Man cave situation going on in here.

The garage is gigantic.

They have a nice big patio, but with a .91 acre lot, there's almost a full acre to put in a pool, gardens, etc.
