SRK BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TAG GAME
Tumblr media
SRK movie you've lost track of how many times you've watched it?
Definitely om shanti om because i've been watching that one since childhood, also jawan which i watched twice a day for almost a week Favorite entry scene?
the opening scene in jawan is just so epic! pathaan's "zinda hai", Don 2's entire opening sequence are unforgettable in terms of action. K3G definitely gives him one of the most iconic scenes ever in terms of hindi cinema
Is there a particular scene or character that lives rent free in your head?
Vikram Rathore's interval scene, Veer Pratap Singh, Raees, Om Prakash Makhija, the list goes on...
Got a favorite musical number?
my srk favorites playlist has like 80 songs so this is tough to answer but Radha is just so joyful! Banke tera jogi, jhoome jo pathaan, tumse milke dil ka, maahi ve have all stuck with me
If you could ask SRK one question, what would it be?
Probably something about the poems and backstories he writes for his characters, always wanted to know more about that...
I don't think I can tag anyone who hasn't been tagged already so whoever sees this post is welcome to join in
and i love this photo so much

Dunki Review
(mild spoilers)
I really wanted to like this film but it was underwhelming. While the message was good, I felt like something was missing. I probably wouldn't watch it again.
The main cast was great, I liked all the characters and their acting. They had good chemistry with each other.
This is my first Hindi film of Taapsee's (I've only seen her in Mogudu) and I thought she was great as Manu. I liked her a lot.
Hardy reminded me of Veer Pratap Singh and he was really sweet. When he protected Manu from the military police, I was like 🥵
He looked amazing as an old man. Vikram Rathore had some serious competition.
Vicky's small cameo was impactful. I cried a little bit. Poor baby.
What Hardy said at Sukhi's funeral about the British not knowing the language when invading India...so true, bestie. Drag them! Loved when Manu shaded them too.
I also loved how Hardy put a statue of Big Ben on Manu's rooftop because it was meaningful to her. And when he proposed I was like 😭
I just felt like the story was rushed and incomplete. I would have liked to see more about their lives in England, since they went through hell to get there. What did Manu end up doing? How did she support her family back home in India? Why didn't any of them get married or start families? Manu's brain tumor came out of nowhere and felt random.
I wouldn't have let Hardy go just to spend 25 years alone in colonizer land, but that's just me.
I knew Hardy would cause a scene in the court room and be deported. His face when Manu said she would miss him broke my heart 💔
The scene with Bakir was really good. I was so shocked when we find out Hardy orchestrated the whole thing.
Overall, I think this is SRK's weakest movie out of the 3 released this year. I didn't like it but I didn't completely hate it, either.

Its spokesperson Pratap in a statement released to the media on Monday claimed the attack was a “befitting reply to the recently launched ‘Operation Kagaar-Surya Shakti’ by the Brahmanical Hindutva fascist rulers to eradicate the Maoist movement and to the ongoing onslaught on adivasis”. The PLGA fighters along with thousands of revolutionary masses executed the raid. In the three-hour raid, the guerillas fired more than 600 grenade launcher shells and other country-made grenades with rapid firings on the CRPF camp, he said.
Pratap claimed that as many as 35 security personnel were killed and more than 40 were seriously injured. Prior to the raid, the guerillas took the entire periphery of the camp under their control. The locals disabled the movement of additional forces by blocking the roads with huge tree logs and the militia kept landmines to attack the incoming forces. A Maoist Commander Devalu, battalion member Vikram and People’s militia member Madkam Devalu were killed during the raid. Police officials, the State and Central governments were silent regarding the raid and trying to keep the details of casualties on their side in darkness, he alleged.

PM Modi introduces ‘four astronauts” to the world who will venture on India’s first human crewed flight to space
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced four elite fighter pilots of the Indian Air Force (IAF) who will be the “astronauts designates” of India. These four pilots have been selected for the first-ever human-crewed space flight- the Gaganyaan mission.
PM Modi visited the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) research institute in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, where he announced.
The names of these four astronauts are IAF’s group captain Prasanth Balakrishnan Nair, group captain Ajit Krishnan, group captain Angad Pratap, and wing commander Shubhanshu Shukla. They have been under extensive training for the Gaganyaan mission for the last five years. The training was held in Russian and Indian facilities. During a special ceremony, the Prime Minister awarded “Antriksh Yatri Pankh” (astronaut wings) to the four astronauts on Tuesday.
While introducing the four astronauts, PM said that these “four forces” will carry the aspirations of 1.4 billion people on their shoulders as they begin their mission.
“The four astronaut-designates are not just four names or individuals, they are the four forces that are carrying the aspirations of 140 crore Indians into space... They symbolize the trust, courage, valor, and discipline of today’s India,” Modi said.
Emphasizing the 40 years of gap between the last Indian being sent to space and now, PM Modi said that this will be an effort “Made In India”.
“After over 40 years, Indians will be traveling to space again. But this time, the countdown and the rocket will all be ours,” the Prime Minister said.
To date, Cosmonaut Rakesh Sharma is the only Indian to have traveled to space. He took a flight to space in a Russian-made Soyuz spacecraft in year 1984.
