fandom talks too little about hylla and reyna. reyna killed her father when she thought he'd killed hylla. hylla dragged them out of puerto rico and found them sanctuary and employment on circe's island AND became one of circe's favorites. then when they got captured by blackbeard hylla also got them out of that situation by out-pirating literal immortal pirates. then in a span of three years, they split up, found their own ways to the amazons and cj, and became the leaders of their respective factions. when hylla's queenship was being threatened by otrera in son, she plotted a counter-coup and defeated an amazon queen who couldn't die two nights in a row in one-on-one combat, THEN led her cavalry to camp jupiter. (ik this woman slept like a corpse for a week afterwards). hylla used reyna as an absolutely ruthless bait-and-switch to capture orion, and all reyna said in response to that was, "bet." reyna carries insurmountable amounts of both guilt and gratitude towards her sister. even though they havent seen each other in a while, hylla still drops everything and does everything in her power to save her baby sister when she knows reyna needs her.

Anyways it’s really cool that marvel had a character who was suddenly introduced into a new timeline where they didnt previously exist and has to deal with the ramifications of that alongside the loss of their previous mentor figure and friends.

And its really on brand that they barely explored any of that with miles and made up a new white boy with some extra fanfiction style sad ritz to have that storyline instead 🤡

HAMMY'S POSTING. BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH MY FRIEND'S ART!! This time based on a little tidbit I dropped on @stcries at one point, hehe. Yes, Cola, your Tenna WILL be mentioned EVEN before his RP debut, teehee. It's been close to a couple of weeks since Chapter 3's release so I wanna talk about the crossover AU version!! Obviously, I will mention some DELTARUNE CHAPTER 3 SPOILERS here, so check the read more under your own discretion!

In this AU, Tenna would not only absent himself several times during the The Legend of Tenna segments because of Toriel. He would also be informed of "two sudden guests" wrecking havoc all around set, terrorizing countless employees and sabotaging particular sets and the like. And, upon making it to the Green Room, he would find Skid and Pump trying to press a poor Zapper's buttons as if he were an elevator. Cue the exchange above which, from the Fun Gang's POV, would happen off-screen. They really are not supposed to be there and it shows!!

Before anyone asks: which door is Skid talking about here? Well, let us just say that Kris leaving the Dreemurrs' household door open would not only have resulted in Undyne coming in during the tail end of the chapter.

In comparison of Chapter 1.5 (which I still have to write, I know, shshshsh), the boys' appearance in Chapter 3 is pretty light in terms of plot-involvement. And also pretty lighthearted! In a similar vein to Lancer, they keep appearing here and here during the chapter's events, usually just to mess around. Tenna does not even make the attempt to give them jobs-- he is NOT dealing with any child labor laws.

Sans actively interrupting the boards and physical challenges, breaking into the S-Rank room, or harassing the Zapper guarding the Cold Place's door, the kids are granted full freedom around the TV World. Not because they have done anything to warrant it, Tenna just canNOT successfully trap them inside gachapon capsules. They can even enter the A-Rank and lower rooms because, well, who is going to stop them really? Susie would smuggle them in* anyways.

*She would actually do this upon letting Kris use the B-Rank Room's Ball Machine as intended and realizing that they WASTED a bunch of points on prizes she found to be lame. No, alas, Ralsei does not get to give his two cents on the ethics of shoving two single-digit-aged children into a gigantic gachapon machine for the sake of getting prizes for free. Like, even Lancer is a prize in there, that machine would be emptied in MINUTES.

A running gag all throughout this chapter would be, in Tenna's own words as he looks at the camera looking cheeky: "if it's not tied down, it can be stolen, simple as that" (thanks Cola hehe). Random bits and pieces of each set, ITEM chests, even bits from the boards and physical challenges themselves, somehow, would start vanishing at one point. Especially the gachapon capsules-- Tenna would trap the Fun Gang inside THE LAST THREE CAPSULES HE HAS LEFT just so they would play the Bonus Round with him. And, wanna guess what would happen once they build enough TP to use the TURNOFF act on the Zapper? THE CAPSULES WOULD BE GONE TOO!! THESE TWO WOULD HAVE STOLEN THE PARTY AS WELL!! All because Pump likes smashing the things open with his hammer!!

And so, they would become pretty useful as means to obtain ITEMs and EQUIPment the player might not have picked up during their adventure. Just trade some points, or other ITEMs, with them and no problem. So like a shop with a random bunch of stuff in it. It is pretty difficult to let two kids roam around a TV studio with so many bright and colorful things within their grasp. You could even get two extra controllers from them (just like the ones you can get from Lancer), though using them in the SNES puzzles would not be too different from using Ralsei's or Susie's controllers respectively. You get to play as 8-bit versions of the little guys though!

Once the Fun Gang is on its way to the Cold Place the second time to face Tenna, they will come across Skid and Pump one last time... trying to drag Lancer's petrified body* across the Green Room in hopes of getting Susie to do something about it. Not like she can. They were not present for Chapter 2 so they must have been pretty confused when they discovered their Darkner friend as a statue. This, funny enough, would come into play during Tenna's boss fight when Susie comes up with a new ACT: DROPLANCER. Basically, for a sizable amount of TP, she can command Skid and Pump (who will magically spawn above the TV set) to drop Lancer on Tenna's head to stun him and make a minigame last for longer, earning the party more points. And it should do damage to him but, because it is funny, it does not. It probably pisses him off and causes his attacks to do more damage the turn after, though.

All of this is because Tenna did not have a horror set ready, by the way. They become a massive pain in the neck ON PURPOSE, and everything they end up gather was likely destined to a horror set OF THEIR OWN MAKING. The Susiezilla set was cool, at least, at least they had SOMETHING MILDLY SPOOKY in the TV World. At least they could have fun doing their own thing throughout most of it. Like, these kids canonically LOVE watching TV! Tenna should have given them a bone at least!!

As to how Chapter 3 ends? Much like how Kevin got stabbed by the Happy Fella in SM4, they arrive to the aftermath. Susie and Kris are missing, Ralsei is not looking so hot, and their teacher Toriel was there all along?? And she is not waking up?? They even end up finding Tenna after he got torn into pieces before the party could, which is NOT good. They do not even get a full explanation of what happened because, well, they are little kids. They would not have understood it. Neither they should know about The Roaring Knight. They are VERY dangerous.

Looking at the bright side, the boys would be able to aid Susie, the Pippins and the Shadowguys with fixing Tenna. After all, they found him first! They even had a lot of fun on set, so it would be the least they could do for the man running the entire operation. And Pump is very knowledgeable about The Art of Fixing a TV Screen with a Hammer* and its varying degrees of effectiveness. Which totally did not freak Susie out the first time he did that. He wields a HUGE hammer, y'know?

*This practically involves hitting a TV screen's frame with a hammer, which can fix how the screen displays images. It does not fix A CRACKED SCREEN, but as a bandaid fix just to get Tenna's face back it would work.

After the events of Chapter 3, in Castle Town, the player might be able to trigger a particular interaction where Skid and Pump try to convince Tenna of doing something horror-related in the future. They would even have their own little pitch! It would probably involve Jack from Chapter 4 lmao. Those two are very, VERY persistent.

Guys we need to talk about the deleted scene!

A deleted scene called "Miguel Calling" has been released and even though he doesn't physically appear in this scene, we still get some pretty interesting information about Hobie (that may or may not be canon).

In the clip above we hear a rather interesting conversation between Gwen and Miguel. Gwen wants to call Hobie for backup for the Spot mission, but Miguel says that Hobie quit!

What we learn from this scene:

Hobie quit the spider-society (because he doesn't believe in institutions or teams- at least that's why Miguel thinks he quit)

Even LYLA can't find him!!!! I find this VERY interesting cause she was able to track the Spot as he was dimension hopping (and he didn't wear a watch or anything they could use to track him). So Hobie somehow KNOWS how to completely avoid detection from the spider-society, which again must mean that he has a pretty good idea as to how the society works! (Also does this mean he wasn't hiding in his own dimension? Cause that feels like a pretty obvious place to hide and I feel Like LYLA would be able to find him there? OR: Does this mean he'd already made a watch for himself at this point and was using it to dimension hop or maybe he can use it to somehow avoid detection from LYLA? Or maybe he was hiding in his own dimension cause it would be too obvious and thus the last place they'd look for him).

Hobie gave Gwen a way to contact him! (maybe he'd already made a watch for her too in this version?)

Miguel thinks Hobie is unrelieable and erratic, I wonder if that's why he wanted Hobie to come with the others to HQ? So that he could have a serious talk with Hobie after he was done with Miles? Is that why Miguel acts so annoyed by Hobie's presence when he first meets Miles at HQ?

I know this is a deleted scene and thus technically isn't canon, but I still think it gives us some very interesting (and possibly canon?) information about Hobie and how the other characters view him!

This post turned out to be longer than I expected but I just get so many new ideas and thoughts when I watch this scene! Please let me know what you guys think of all this!

andie is part of the first aid organization known as feast, which focuses on providing food, emergency aid, shelter, and training to anyone across the galaxy who needs it, focusing on areas of disaster from major fires or explosions to areas in the midst of and following disastrous battles. this can look like temporary shelters & aid with relocations, field medics, medical droids, and more medium-term medical aid stations, as well as pop-up food kitchens, and sometimes rebuilding efforts.

while feast themself puts no limits on who they provide aid to, they are considered dangerous by the galactic empire and their work is often impeded by those working for or loyal to the empire. feast, however, is not dangerous—they provide important shelter in areas that have been ravaged by the empire and for people who have been targeted by them, including members of the rebel alliance and often their efforts overlap with that of the rebellion.

andie herself is often in the midst of these disaster areas and dealing with the aftermath, sometimes immediate, of the violence caused by the empire. she is still a pacifist who doesn't like or agree with violence and hasn't seen any evidence of violence solving problems—all she sees is people hurt where instead she can help. her focus is on healing and helping those who cannot help themselves and protecting people from those who wish them harm. andie is not impartial to the battle being fought and is strongly on the side of the rebellion. her position at feast often gives her close access to help members of the rebellion both via help & healing, and in terms of information that she picks up due to feast being so near to various galactic empire bases.

with age comes wisdom                 be it small, be it about matter of fact things ;   but it never comes   WITHOUT   instincts. ears twitching, man flicked finger against his own nose in a  NERVOUS / THOUGHTFUL  manner underneath his kindness. growing up hobbits learned that all living beings were unique & a part of their world in their own ways. some dangerous, some guardians, some simple beings & some kept time spinning. each role   IMPORTANT   as little as it may be. it was yavanna's teachings & her warmth for all creations that they held in their hearts. from the outside though, they seemed to be an odd kind to others. set in their ways of being proper & comfortable. most of it was not   BORN  OF  MALICE   or  IGNORANCE .    as much as they were proper, they also sang to the plants & birds. they whisper flowers into existence                    care for all that is green & blossoming with adoration filling their hearts. as such they became secretive, withdrawn with their reputation to be home bodies. easy folks.

but even then, bilbo has never   FAVORED  to hold back the tenderness that sparkled within hues / soul for others just because they were no plants, no hobbits & no favored people of their kind. he was   FASCINATED  with a healthy amount of disillusioned. after his travels with his beloved chaotic bunch of dwarves ;     there was a deep understanding awakened within when someone or something had considered or was considering eating him. hell, he even had made a list. nose twitching, the man's brow furrows as he listened to her sweet whispers & the danger that lay within just under the surface. feeling yavanna's magic sparkle, nerves flared even more yet he remained calm on the outside. quick witted they had called him. a riddle master. but was he still that sharp? it has only been a little over two years since he had returned                         missing the bearded rowdy bunch with every fibre of his being. but, frodo needed him.

Valicer Multiamory Month, Day Sixteen: Outsider POV (All The Fairytales AU)

We're past the halfway point of Multiamory March (as per @polyamships) now, and today's prompt is an interesting one: "Outsider POV!" As in, what does all this polyamorous nonsense look like to someone OUTSIDE the actual polycule?

Well, to a noble couple from another kingdom in my All The Fairy Tales AU (otherwise known as "Ever Ever After") who keep getting wedding invitations from the royal family of Dort, it looks very weird indeed. XD Yeah, when I saw this prompt, I immediately wanted to do something with somebody reacting to the fact that, at the end of all the fairy-tale-related shenanigans outlined in that post (seriously, there are too many to recount here), Prince Victor Van Dort ends up getting married four times. So here is exactly that! Hope you enjoy. :)

“...beg pardon?”

“I’m serious. Here’s the invitation. It was delivered right before breakfast.”

“What the – this is the fourth in as many months! How can he have gotten married four times already?! No one’s wives drop dead that fast unless they’re being poisoned, and – well, the rulers of Dort may not be the most refined, but they’re not killers! Not to mention, if there had been any royal funerals, we would have been invited to those too! We got one for when they thought he was dead! Just – what is going on here?!”

“Well, dearest, you’ll be pleased to know that I myself met with the messenger who delivered this invitation, and was able to ask him what was going on. And he was able to give me an answer.”

“Really? Out with it, then! Please explain to me why this young man keeps getting married!”

“Simply put, it’s because Prince Van Dort fell in love with four people. And apparently Dort has an old law on the books that makes polygamy legal for the royal heir if they have no brothers or sisters.”

“...what? So – wait. All of his previous wives are still alive?”

“Indeed – well, for a given value of such. Remember wife number two, Lady Emily Merrimack? Mermaid.”

“Oh. That explains that wedding being on the beach...but – still. The princess-consort is – fine with all this?”

“Yes – as per the messenger, the former Princess Everglot, Lady Merrimack, and Lady Liddell are all dear friends. In fact, there’s rumors that the princess-consort and Lady Merrimack might be a bit – closer than that.”

“...huh. Well, it’s not our kingdom, so...who is he getting married to this time?”

“Smiler, Minister of Joy, of the Alton Towers Fairies.”

“...um–”

“The law also does not specify that any of the extra spouses need to be women. Or human. And even if it did – would you want to argue with one of the group they call the Secret Weapons of Alton Towers?”

“...we’re going to have to send a really good gift for this one, aren’t we?”
